Last night I had a dream that fae!Price’s darling was a witchy gal, her grandmother taught her about the fae when she was young. I’m talking warded up house, always carrying iron and salt, candles herbs and crystals the whole nine yards. They met in the flower shop after she got a weird vibe, looked through a hagstone and Saw him. He showed up in her garden and she gave him mead she made to make up for her rudeness. She will do small acts of kindness but specify that they are “freely given” to avoid tethering. I was reading your blog right before bed lol. I like the idea of debt holder Price and a (from a fae perspective) slippery darling that he just can’t catch unless she wants to be caught
*Holding the grimoire I wrote as a senior capstone in College* Oh you want witch shit? I can give you witch shit. Let's keep trying out Price's darlings, the only thing I require for her is that she have the most knowledge of the fae because she's dealing with the big kid one. (Here's where I mention that I also have a potential witch darling for Gaz so keep that in mind)
He's been hanging around your garden, just by your back gate, right where your grandmother planted rosemary so many years ago. You greet him every time you pass by, careful never to reach over the brick wall that separates you. He's friendly, but you're not so easily fooled.
"Good morning," you smile at him, watering the herbs on your side of the fence. He leans against the brick to watch you. Eyes heavy as they slide over you, tracing the sway of your skirt where it skims your thighs.
"How's my pretty witch doing today?" He asks voice thick and promising. He's just as careful to avoid your iron watering can as you are to keep it from splashing him. You find the residual warding properties tend to soak into the water. Your family has always maintained a strong threshold for the home.
"Better seeing you," you joke, returning the compliment as easily as can be. You never miss the heat in his eyes, the danger just below his friendly facade.
"I brought you something."
"That's very kind of you," you tell him, "I think the tomatoes are ripe, I'll send you off with some for the trouble."
"No trouble, I wanted to bring it."
"Oh but I couldn't accept a gift without repaying you, it would be rude of me."
"Repay me later," he growls, and you smile a little wider. You like this dance, you've never had a fae try so hard to get their hooks in you. You set down your watering can and lean against the brick across from him. Your weight resting on your elbows, the threshold humming between you.
"But I can repay you now."
"It's a gift."
"Gifts have strings."
"Then it isn't a gift," he says, mirroring your posture.
"Then what is it?" You ask, his eyes flick to your chest, appreciative, wanting. His confidence is charming, or it would be if you were the sort of person to take the fae at face value.
"A name," Your smile drops, your heart jumping up your throat. He must see the panic in your eyes because his smile widens. "Not to keep, just... to call me when we talk." Your pulse tries to slow from the impact of panic. He did that on purpose, you try not to look too rattled by this. You try to think of an appropriate repayment.
"I can't tell you mine."
"I know." He purrs, pleased with himself for catching you in your own defenses. You feel a chill graze your skin through the threshold, the edge of Winter. He knows exactly the corner he's backing you into. He gives you time to think through your options, to panic at the weight of his offer.
"I don't-"
"I know." He pushes, tapping against the solid line between you. You've never had the sight, but you can feel his magic collide with yours as he hits the threshold. You toy with the hagstone on your necklace, the worn stone warm from your skin under your fingers. "Witch," he warns.
"I'm still thinking."
"Think as long as you want," He leans closer, "but call me Price while you do."
Your heart stops, your thoughts grinding to a halt as well. Price. It fits him. You feel the silver thread searching for purchase in your soul, and break one of your long standing rules.
You lean over the threshold and kiss him. Because you know he wants to have some part of you, and you know he wants you on the wrong side of the fence. The thread breaks as his hand slides to cup your cheek, tipping your head as his lips slide against yours. It's your first one, and you think it's worth the price of his name.
His beard sort of tickles but his lips are soft and insistent, and you lean a little further over the wall to stay close. His hands are entreating, coaxing you further across the threshold. His teeth dig into your lip and you open for him, let him drag his tongue against yours as his fingers thread through your hair. You feel your feet leave the ground, the brick digging into your hands as you put your weight on them. The pain is enough to bring you back to your senses. You don't know what would happen if you let him take you.
Price sighs as you pull away and settle back on your side of the wall. He feels a thread hook in him. You've overpaid. He values your touch more than you apparently did, how fortunate for him. And unfortunate for you.

It's only snowed once but this has been in my head since, glad I got myself to finish it! Now to see if I will finish the mistletoe kisses, though I don't know if anyone but me wants to see it XD Although this scene isn't going to be in the Fic, I'm going to pretend. You can read my Faeful Hearts DCA AU Fic Here

The Lord of Ice (from Awake, Sweet Prince)
I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've wholly coloured an artwork digitally, on my own, and been pleased with the results. The 7 days it took me to figure out have been so worth it.

See, I really want to ask about Aiden's morality, but I'm scared of the answer 🙈
Will all his friends and Henry outlive him?
Is he more vulnerable than the others?
Am I making the same mistake Ákos did, and will I pay for my curiosity?
(Also, I hope I am not overwhelming you with how much I speak. Please, never feel pressured to answer!)
Are you sure you are ready to hear the answer to that? 🙈
Truth is, I don’t really have an “end” set for Aiden, I don’t know how he will die.
But be it of old age, sickness or a hero’s death, the bad news is that yes, Aiden’s friends and Henry will outlive him either way.
After all, they are very long-lived. And though Aiden is half fae, that doesn’t mean he inherited their longevity. He is still mortal.
The good news however is that due to his power and him spending much time in the faerie realm, his lifespan is a little more stretched than that of a normal person, so he might get to live a few years longer (given he dies of old age).
Yet for a fae, the life of a mortal feels way too short, especially if you care about that person. Aiden isn’t scared of dying, but he feels bad for the people he will leave behind.
I think you might really feel like Ákos after I told you this. Sorry for that!
(Also I’m not overwhelmed in the slightest! I don’t think you talk too much, either, I’m glad to have you around ^^)

My personal headcanon is that Snezhnaya is home to the faefolk, and the winter court.
There used to be a summer court, but it was destroyed as collateral in one of Celestia’s plans, and their heavily weakened denizens were scattered across Teyvet (what we know as Seelies, and probably whatever Paimon is too, lol).
In anguish, the Summer Queen, who was also the goddess of love, overthrew and killed the Winter Court’s Queen, the former Cryo Archon, who played a part in the destruction, merging the courts, and becoming the current archon, the Tsarista. Now, out for blood she vows vengeance on Celestia. Her loving heart is frozen in grief, causing even the most southern parts of Snehnaya to freeze over, bringing what remained of the summer court into an eternal winter.
Fey are shifters, the Sneznayan equivalent of Yokai and Adepti, with a true form and a human form. Not all fey are Fatui, like their queen—there are also civilian fey with families, and hidden fey villages.
Also, this absolutely would explain Foxtaglia in a fanfic. He’s a shifter and his harbinger outfit is specially designed to accommodate his shifts. He would pretend to be human, and uses his fox form to go undercover.
Also, imagine if he tries to shift in foul legacy. I think I’d dub it “vulpine voidcrawler.”

Jack frost is a fae and Always had been.
How could anyone not perceive before? The boy's hair that always is glittering just like new fallen snow, his eyes that shines just like moon fairy dust, his skinny body prepared to the most dangerous flies.
Jack wings were teared apart, Separated of his body and exposed in a pirate's treasure room, he wasn't the same, how could he be? He didn't understand at the time how humans could be this cruel?
He waited, Lying on the dirty floor of the ship, Trying to gather the strength to leave but was in vain, He couldn't move, he couldn't move after so much crying, He was so tired, So tired that he closed his eyes.
Sure Jack heard angered screams on the upper floor, Tried to open his eyes, but they won't obey him anymore, something walked in, His vision was blurred, He tried to pull away and managed to move a few centimeters, closed his eyes again.
"oh jack, what did they done to you?" They speaker quietly, He recognized the voice, Peter, He hugged jack who couldn't hold himself anymore, Tears that he didn't remember were in his eyes started streaming down his face while he tries without success stop them.
The wind, recognizing the pain and grief of the little fae, began to carry him wherever he went, but even the wind knew that they would never be able to erase the numbness that Jack lack of wings would make the fae feel, the wind endured his sadness on snowflakes, his grief in a angrier and powerful blizzard,
(...)
He had to stay away from Neverland, Jack could even look at the sea or have fun again, every single glance at the small faeries that tried to help him just fueled his sadness and grief
His head started to spin, his vision blurred just like that day, he had to leave , Jack had to leave now, So he did.
Jack couldn't see where he was going, neither he knew or cared enough, wind carried him switch speed and warm of a mom rescuing it's child and comforting him in it's arms
He didn't knew at the time, just like a killer blizzard no one would forget that Easter
(...)
The children started to imagine jack frost again, changing completely the perception, no he wasn't a frost giant anymore and how could he be a fairy? fairies have wings, Jack frost didn't.
Jamie once asked the guardians about it, And had to pretend not to notice the pain that showed in the spirit's shining blue eyes.
Maybe if he didn't he could have perceived the glimmer of tears when jack looked around messing with a new toy
(...)
After pitch defeat the unclear Man in the Moon said he could make a wish of his choice, every guardian did make a wish once, Tooth desired a place for herself and her little faeries, Aster wished the warrant, North the yetis and elfs, And even Sandy once desired something.
It could be anything, they say.
Jack voice creaked while he did the question "you could... I can have mine wings again?" He couldn't believe, but maybe he should, Just like Peter always said.
Man in the moon stayed quiet while jack in defeated looked at the moon shine, Waiting between the moon silence like if he just needed to think of the matter, A minute, two, three, so he said no.
No
How could he be so dumb? How could he believe that it would happen after all? Jack was a fool.
So He heard the man in the moon again "i can't bring your wings back, but surely i could help you grow another pair" jack seemed lost, finally noticing tears that started to fall at a good time ago.
He let himself sob this time
