Spirits and their common uses and misconceptions
So today I wanted to talk about a few spirits which, not much is so far known of through literary writing, but more so through celestial knowledge. (each spirit will have its own section)
The Pythoness - many Christian and Judea religions view the pythoness spirit as a demon like spirit that is meant to steer one away from Gods path and imbue one with negative thoughts such as death and sickness through the mind, yet I've personally found and many civilizations prior and after that the story is not as such. In yogic practices there is a certain breathe and practice of the kundalini. Kundalini is the term for "a spiritual energy or life force located at the base of the spine", conceptualized as a coiled-up serpent. The practice of Kundalini yoga is supposed to arouse the sleeping Kundalini Shakti from its coiled base through the 6 chakras, and penetrate the 7th chakra, or crown. This allows for an open pathway as a connection to God, elevated spirits and the spirits of the afterlife, our ancestral spirits, within celestial planes. In buddhism giant serpents were seen as protectors of the dharma, the truth that liberates us, standing strong against any attack. Many psychics, seers, mediums, witches and tarot card readers tend to have a spirit who knows one of two things about divination, prophecy and esoteric knowledge, but the pythoness spirit is looked at more like the all seeing eye or the eye of ra and horus. In greek mythology Leto the great she-wolf was cursed to never give birth upon the land as Hera set her out to be cursed by her daughter and for Gaia to not allow her to give birth to her two children. Through Zeus' interference Leto was able to give birth to both Artemis and Apollo. Later Apollo went to go slay a Snake that had threatened Leto and therefore gained the ability to turn into a snake himself. He declared the island previously known as Pythos to be Delphi and as the God of prophecy later became a hub for those seeking answers from great oracles once a year, known as Pythias. These women were great prophets and witches alike that danced with fire and tamed snakes to dance along with them protecting the island from attacks and monsterous threats as to pay respect to Apollo. These were women and men of wild nature who allows there instincts to guide them through the understanding of the great divine. One with nature they became medicine workers, prophets, seers, musicians, dancers, pyromancers, snake charmers, witches and mages and dream weavers.
These great spirits are revered as a highly elevated court in spiritualist practices, sometimes just perceived as the spirits of tarot decks or oracular objects they are forgotten as being far too complex to be seen as just that. Through the force of light they bring great aid to those they are on spiritual journey's with, they rid of hexes, curses and spiritual illnesses. They guide through prophetic dreams, clairvoyancy, clairsentience, clairaudience and mediumship. They are capable of conjuring powerful spirits and the spirits of the dead (necromancy), as well as a straight line communication to God, gods and goddesses. They move through the celestial tides of the universe and bring forth great health, wealth, abundance, freedom and spiritual knowledge to those they favor. They are quite benevolent spirits who help bring in death or the spirit of change for the better and to rid old stubborn ways of the past. They are great teachers of dark and light magic. They aid in learning and music as well. Helping those with charisma and the ability to enchant and/or charm enemies and others alike. They have such affinity towards chocolates, gold, silver, wine, fire, candles, light, mirrors, divination tools, water, flowers and floral scents, perfumes, snakes and music. There number is 7 and their flower is the rose, particularly the white rose, but other colors are fine as well. They also enjoy sunflowers, as they venerated Apollo, and the Anise star. Their colors are Red, burgundy, gold, emerald green, white, silver, purple, and brown. Yet each is different and might prefer a royal blue for all we know each spirit is different to another so getting to know ones spiritual court is quite important. Stones like diamond, ruby, jade, emerald, citrine, labradorite and amethyst can be given to such spirit as well as Selenite and Amber each representing Artemis and Apollo. These spirits can sometimes be confused with a better known spirit Santa Martha la Dominadora. You may even have both within your spiritual court, but they two hold many similarities.

Prayer to the Pythoness
O Blessed Pythoness, I invoke your humble yet wild nature into my life, I give you thanks for the visions told and untold and for the sight to see my path clearly. May your connection to God and all living things be great and full of love and respect. May your tides of wisdom bring peace to the land and bestow upon me and my loved ones a blessed hand. Lady of the fire, imbue me with your holy flames may they burn away all evil done unto me by others or by my own hand. May your light charm those who seek no good into doing acts of kindness and greatness and may your soothing voice bring sweetness and riches to the land and seas. You the one who tamed the dragon and serpent to your gracious hand. Tame my enemies and bring good fortune to those in need. Help the world against devastation and may your great cobra bring forth the promise land. Lady of the land and sea, conjure your celestial winds to protect me and bring good news from the heavenly lands. Through the eye of the one who can see I plea to you humbly and in need. As it is. So mote it be. Amen
Say this prayer with Psalm 91 3x and Psalm 4 3x under the flame of a white(or yellow) light end with a Glory be. It will help receive divine messages through divination or prophetic dreams and help transmute negative energy and protect against evil eye.
Oracion a La Pitonisa
Asi sera. AMEN

Weekly reading!
This time I thought about making it pick a pile style. I felt very tuned in when I was shuffling and getting the cards so I chose them for all the groups at the same time and then looked and read them. That means that each group has no repeated cards. Sadly I had to rewrite some parts because the app worked terribly and I was writing everything in a draft. Next time I'll definitely do it in the notes or a doc.
This is the first time I do this so I am improvising and going with the flow, I don't know if next week I will do it like this or not. I still used the cards as always though, tarot and then A Yogic Path (chakra, ayurveda and yoga).
Here are my other readings!
To pick a pile please take a deep breath first and tune in with yourself. Please don't do it in a rush, in class, your job, etc. If you are curious save it for later when you can truly connect with your highest self. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. When you open them don't think too much about it and pick a crystal. You can pick more than one. Take what resonates and leave what doesn't. Journal about how the reading made you feel.
Now let's take a look!! (alt: 1 red jasper 2 tiger eye 3 clear quartz)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 1
Cards: 9 of Swords reversed, XXI The World, Ace of Pentacles, 2 of Pentacles. Ajna reversed, Vata, Pranayama reversed.
You recovered from hardship or accepted something hard, a truth or a situation. You could have accepted help too, a hard thing to do sometimes.
Either way after the difficult times you are having your moment. The World is a beautiful card, the last one of the major arcana. You completed the journey and feel fulfilled. Maybe you finally got recognition.
Now another adventure begins, the ace of pentacles indicates that that beginning is about money. It could be a new business, some investments or maybe just abundance and monetary security. Perhaps the hardships mentioned before were related to money too.
Remember you can balance your work life and personal life though, don't prioritize your job because you had a hard time with money. Trust the abundance of your life right now. It doesn't mean don't be careful with your money, just put you and your wellbeing first.
Don't doubt your intuition, when something doesn't feel right keep it in mind. "Before making a decision, tune into your body. What is it telling you?" Pick your body cues. The more you practice this the more align you will be with your third eye chakra and intuition.
The Vata card is asking you to let your ideas flourish, but remember to also anchor them with action, so visions can manifest into reality. Don't leave your ideas just in your mind. (If you have any ideas related to business or money remember the Ace of Pentacles, now it's the time).
"Whenever things seem to be moving too quickly for words, come back to your breath". Remember to take pranayama out of the mat too, our breath is always there to support us. This reminds me of the 2 of Pentacles, find the balance. If you don't practice yoga I recommend looking for some pranayama videos!
Pile 2
Cards: XIII Death, Knight of Swords reversed, 3 of Swords reversed, King of Wands reversed. Manipura reversed, Kapha reversed, Niyamas.
Death is scary but it means evolution and metamorphosis. A loss is an opportunity to change but it is normal to feel sad and grief the past.
You can overcome this though. Seek help if you need to, you don't have to go through a hard time alone. Take time to process the situation.
You may feel like there's a weird atmosphere around you this week or that there's something wrong with you. A lack of harmony, volatility, rudeness...
Your solar plexus chakra may be blocked, making you feel unsure about what you really want. "Take some time apart from others, especially those who are trying to direct your path, and figure out who you are outside of everyone else." This ties with the King of Wands reversed and that weird atmosphere I talked about. You need some distance. "You need to unlearn all that you learnt", go to new places, try new things. Remember the Death card? This is a new you.
The Kapha card in reverse makes me think that maybe you needed this change. Perhaps you got too comfortable where you were. "Try something out of the box. See bigger dreams for yourself. Let go of habits that are no longer serving you, such as emotional eating or looking back into the past. Replace refined carbs, sugar, and dairy with bitter vegetables, tart fruit, and rich spices. It's time to shed your old skin and reemerge as your highest self and fullest expression".
I will leave you now with the Niyamas page (alt after the pic). Beautiful transformational energy in this group.
Tumblr media
[Alt: NIYAMAS. Eight stages of yoga: laws of personal observance. You are beginning to reap the rewards of the inner transformational work you have done. This is just the beginning of a life-long practice of personal observance. Tune into what your soul needs at this moment. Are there toxins in your body and mind that need sauca, purity? Are you experiencing contentment, santosa, for all the blessings you have been given? Are you using your tapas, disciplined energy, to take you toward your Dharma, divine purpose? Continue the practice of svadhyaya, self-study. There is always more that you'll find when you open up the pathway to your true spirit. Take some extra time for yourself each day to practice isvara pranidhana, the celebration and contemplation of spirit.]
Pile 3
Cards: III The Empress, XVIII The Moon, 4 of Wands reversed, King of Swords, 8 of Swords reversed. Anahata reversed, Tamas reversed, Asana reversed.
First I have to say that I don't like reading The Moon as the opposite of The Sun. I don't think it is a card about melancholy, anguish and insecurity (at least when it's not reversed). To me it is about tapping into your intuition and seeing what you didn't before. Also you got one more card because they just came out like that jsjsj. Okay now we can get into your reading group 3!!
I think right now you are being asked to step into your feminine energy (this energy lives within everyone regardless of gender, also I may add that I do not like the "divine feminine" bs). You can flow with creativity, accomplish your goals, go into a time of abundance. But for that you need to be more in touch with the femininity in yourself.
The Moon is also a very feminine card, but this one is more about intuition and spirituality. Maybe this is what you need; understanding your intent, realising the cycles and patterns within your life, self-study. See the path that was hidden once.
This can bring a bit of self-doubt or gloom though. Sometimes things are easier when we are unaware. The 4 of Wands is also about family so with it being reversed it makes me think that perhaps you can discover something about your family that makes you look at them differently. It can also just be that you live away from them and miss them. Maybe they also are not spiritual or even are against spiritual practices (tarot, wicca, yoga, astrology....)?
The King of Swords may be asking you for a bit of structure and self-discipline in your life. This goes hand in hand with tamas and asana in reverse, but we will see that late
The 8 of swords is about being caught up in your own insecurities. Maybe it was your family making you insecure, you went through a heartbreak, or it was a moment of self-doubt but you are beginning to heal. Take a stand and be strong.
I'm really getting spiritual awakening from this pile. But first you have to work through some emotional blockages, let's see what the anahata reverse has for you (alt after the pic):
Tumblr media
[Alt: Anahata. Heart chakra. Reverse. A heartbreak is holding you back from your truth, and the time has come to forgive. Your heart carries an intelligence, and when you close your heart, you are not able to operate as your full self. To follow your path, it is essential to heal the old wounds of the heart. Repeat the mantra, "Please forgive me. I forgive you. I thank you. I love you." Repeat these words using the names of every person who needs love, forgiveness, and gratitude. Each heartbreak carries a divine spiritual lesson, and you can hold onto the lesson while letting go of the pain. Honor the soul contract for what it taught you, and pave the way open for your heart to love again. Practice tantric eye-gazing and meditating on the heart-space, and spend time in green nature.]
This block explains why you may feel stuck, hence why tamas reversed is here: "You seem not to have the energy that you used to and feel like the fire within you has been put out [...] My dear, you have been in the cocoon for too long, and you've forgotten you have wings. Create movement and novelty in your life. Practice sun salutations upon waking, take long walks in nature, clean up your house. Let go of all tamasic foods those that are packaged, fried, or full of sugar and refined flour. It takes effort to get the wheels moving at first, but once you make that push, you'll be in effortless flow, kriya".
Following this it is obvious you are asked to take it to the mat too. "The mind has been in control for far too long and it will never answer the questions of your soul's calling. To talk to the spirit, you must talk to its home, the body. The solutions are not outside of yourself, they're in this very temple you abide in. Through movement and breath, you create space between the inhales and the exhales to discover your truth. The mind will tell you stories until the end of time-the body cannot. If it's been a while since you've done an asana, yoga practice, consider this is a request from the spirit reminding you to come back home to yourself".
If you do not practice yoga consider starting or continuing with a physical activity you like, but I think it is better if it is mindful (like pilates, tai chi, even running).
Tumblr media
I hope it was useful!!! Don't forget to keep coming to this lecture during the week. Please let me know if it resonated 🩷 I hope this served you in any way.

Breath of Fire
Breath of Fire is the third painting in my 4 piece series of illustrations inspired by pranayama and the four elements. --Elinore Eaton
In the ancient Vedic texts, the fire deity (also known as Agni) is mentioned in one of the very first verses. It represents the fire within the sun, lightning, as well as the fires lit within homes and for more specialised sacrificial uses.
As the guardian of the South-East direction, the fire-god Agni was traditionally a much-invoked deity alongside Indra (god of storms) and Soma (god of the moon, and also of a special secretive drug-like liquid consumed within rituals) within the ancient and elaborate yogic sacrifices to the gods. As time passed, agni came to be associated with the action of transformation in both a physical and spiritual sense, helping transform food into energy, ideas into actions, and offerings into the smoke that drifted up towards the gods.
Fire is one of the most powerful of the elements, and when we tap into its energy, we bring alive a sense of transformation within ourselves.

Chakras - What they really are
Tumblr media
(I managed to salvage this post written by @rue-cimon from an old deactivated account. I copied it down here because this was too good a post to lose.)
Chakra literally means "wheel" or "circle" in Sanskrit. The concept of chakras originates from Hinduism in ancient India. These are focal points used in a variety of ancient meditation or yoga practices. These practices are collectively called "tantra".
Although the concept is frequently found in early traditions of Hinduism and are often mentioned in the Vedas, beliefs around chakras differ between various Indian religions. Buddhist texts consistently mention 5 chakras, whereas Hindu texts and sources speak of 6 or 7 chakras.
Early Sanskrit texts speak of them both as meditative visualizations combining flowers and mantras and as physical entities in the body. Within kundalini yoga, various breath exercises, visualizations, mudras, kriyas, and mantras are focused on manipulating the flow of subtle energy through chakras.
Chakras are also present in Ayurvedic traditions.
The belief behind chakras is that human life simultaneously exists in two parallel dimensions, one is the physical body and the other is psychological, emotional, mind, non physical (the subtle body).
The aforementioned subtle body is energy, while the physical body is mass. The psyche or mind plane corresponds to and interacts with the body plane, and the belief holds that the body and the mind mutually affect each other. The subtle body consists of energy channels connected by nodes of psychic energy called chakras.
The chakras - in Hindu and Buddhist texts - are said to be arranged in a column along the spinal cord, from its base to the top of the head, connected by vertical channels. Tantric traditions strive to awaken, master, and energize these chakras through yoga and often with the help of a teacher.
The esoteric traditions in Buddhism generally teach four chakras. In some early Buddhist sources, these chakras are termed as manipura (navel), anahata (heart), vishuddha (throat), and ushnisha kamala (crown). However, a system of five chakras is common among classes of tantra in Tibetan Buddhism. These five chakras are basal, abdominal, heart, throat, and crown, and each chakra corresponds with an element, a Buddha, and a bija mantra.
The more common and most studied chakra system incorporates six major chakras along with a seventh center generally not regarded as a chakra.
The chakras are traditionally considered meditation aids. The yogi starts from lower chakras and progresses to the highest chakra located in the crown of the head, in the journey of spiritual ascent.
In the Hindu kundalini and Buddhist candali traditions, the chakras are pierced by a dormant energy residing near or in the lowest chakra. in Hindu texts she is known as Kundalini, while in Buddhist texts she is called Candali or Tummo.
Some terms and definitions:
Tantra: Esoteric traditions in Hinduism and Buddhism that developed in India mainly during the middle of the 1st millennium CE. The term tantra, in the Indian traditions, also means text, theory, system, method, instrument, technique, or practice. A key feature of these traditions is the use of mantras.
Kundalini yoga: A type of yoga focused on channeling energy through the chakras.
Mudra: A symbolic or ritual gesture or pose in Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. Mudras have meaning in many forms of Indian dance and yoga. In hatha yoga, mudras are used in conjunction with pranayama (yogic breathing exercises), generally while in a seated posture, to stimulate different parts of the body involved with breathing and to affect the flow of prana and is associated with consciousness in the body. Mudras are also used in tantric practices.
Kriya: Practice within a yoga discipline meant to achieve a specific result. The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali defines three types of kriya, namely asceticism, study, and devotion. Such yoga is called kriya yoga. Kriya is a Sanskrit word that literally means "to do" or "to work".
Mantra: A sacred utterance, a sound, a syllable, word, or phonemes, or group of words in Sanskrit, Pali, and other languages. They hold spiritual and religious significance. At its simplest, the word "om" serves as a mantra. It is believed to be the first sound which was originated on earth. It creates a reverberation in the body which helps the body and mind to be calm. In more sophisticated forms, mantras are melodic phrases with spiritual interpretations such as a human longing for truth, reality, light, immortality, peace, love, knowledge, and action. Not all mantras have literal meanings but rather are simply uplifting.
Ayurveda: An alternative medicine system with historical roots in ancient India.

Prepare to embark on a transformative journey through the cosmic tapestry of yogas, unlocking the secrets of your unique celestial design.
Chapter 1: "The Foundation of Yogas"
As we embark on our exploration of yogas in astrology, it's essential to grasp the fundamental principles that underpin these celestial combinations. Yogas are intricate configurations formed by the positions of planets in a birth chart, creating unique cosmic signatures. In this foundational chapter, we'll unravel the key elements that contribute to the formation of yogas and understand their significance in shaping destinies.
Astrology, an ancient science, believes that the positions of celestial bodies at the time of birth influence an individual's life journey. Yogas, in essence, are specific combinations that indicate the potential for certain outcomes or characteristics in a person's life. To comprehend this, one must first understand the basic components of a birth chart.
The birth chart, or horoscope, is a snapshot of the sky at the moment of an individual's birth. It consists of twelve houses, each representing different facets of life, and the positions of planets within these houses. Yogas are formed when specific planets occupy particular houses or form angles with each other.
In this chapter, we'll explore the significance of the Ascendant (the sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the time of birth) and its role in shaping the individual's approach to life. The positions of the Sun and Moon, known as luminaries, will also be examined, as they play pivotal roles in determining one's core identity and emotional makeup.
Additionally, we'll delve into the concept of benefic and malefic planets—those considered favorable and unfavorable, respectively. The interplay between these celestial forces contributes to the formation of yogas that can either enhance or challenge various aspects of life.
To comprehend the foundation of yogas, it's crucial to grasp the concept of planetary dignity and debility. Planets exhibit varying degrees of strength or weakness based on their positions in the zodiac. Understanding this dynamic adds a layer of complexity to the interpretation of yogas, as the strength of planets influences their ability to manifest their effects.
As we navigate through this chapter, readers will gain a solid understanding of the astrological building blocks that lay the groundwork for the yogic tapestry. Whether you're a novice seeking insight into the cosmic influences shaping your life or an experienced astrologer refining your knowledge, "The Foundation of Yogas" sets the stage for a profound journey into the celestial realm.
Chapter 2: "Yogas Affecting Personality Traits"
In the cosmic symphony of astrology, Chapter 2 invites us to explore the enchanting melodies that shape individual personalities. "Yogas Affecting Personality Traits" unveils the intricate dance of celestial bodies, weaving a unique pattern that manifests in the diverse tapestry of human character.
At the heart of this exploration lies the Ascendant, the zodiac sign ascending on the eastern horizon at the time of birth. This pivotal point sets the stage for the individual's persona, influencing their approach to life and interaction with the world. As we journey through this chapter, we'll uncover how specific yogas involving the Ascendant can sculpt distinct personality traits.
Each planet contributes its unique energy to the personality canvas, and their placements in different houses create a kaleidoscope of characteristics. For instance, the Sun symbolizes vitality and self-expression, while the Moon reflects emotional depth and intuitive instincts. Understanding the interplay of these luminaries within the yogic framework provides profound insights into an individual's inherent nature.
The concept of planetary aspects, where planets cast their influence on one another based on their angular relationships, adds another layer to the personality portrait. Favorable aspects can enhance positive traits, fostering creativity, leadership, or intellectual prowess. Conversely, challenging aspects may present hurdles, urging individuals to overcome obstacles and grow through adversity.
This chapter will also shed light on the role of the lunar nodes, Rahu and Ketu, in shaping personality dynamics. Their influence, often associated with karmic patterns, introduces an element of destiny into the intricate dance of yogas. As we explore these nodes, we'll unravel the cosmic threads connecting past experiences with present character traits.
Furthermore, the houses occupied by specific planets hold valuable clues to the nuances of personality. From the assertiveness of Mars in the first house to the communicative flair of Mercury in the third, we'll navigate the celestial map to decipher the language of yogas influencing individual temperaments.
As readers delve into "Yogas Affecting Personality Traits," they'll gain a profound understanding of how the celestial ballet orchestrates the unique symphony of human character. ...the more I learned about 'the Seven Sages' on my journey through the ancient texts and commentaries, the more they began to sound to me like a religious cult armed with powerful spiritual ideas, fired by yogic asceticism and the quest for gnosis, manipulating the development of 'kingdoms' in India from retreats in the Himalayas. And maybe not only kingdoms in India, but elsewhere in the archaic world as well?

Ten 2023 Anticipated Books
Tumblr media Tumblr media
New year, new books. Here's a mix of ten Asian titles I'm looking forward to. (Of course, release dates/cover art can and do shift.)
JANUARY
Is Love the Answer? by Isaki Uta
Isaki is one of my favorite Japanese artists. Over the last few years more English language publishers have also been taking notice of her work. This is a standalone coming of age comic with an aromatic asexual protagonist. From Kodansha USA.
FEBRUARY
At 30, I Realized I Had No Gender: Life Lessons From a 50 year-old After Two Decades of Self-Discovery by Arai Shou
This is one autobiographical Japanese comic worth mention as there’s little out there in English to compare. Besides digital release first, it will also appear in print later in the year. Also to note the US arm of publisher Tokyopop came back into English language publishing a few years ago. Besides some other endeavors particularly carving itself a niche in LGBTQ+ comics. Which if great, unless you have the long memory like me that also makes it a bit frustrating because of the company's frankly bad history.
JUNE
River's Edge by Okazaki Kyoko
This may be a familiar title because of the live action adaptation. Or Okazaki’s name as a phenome of visceral comics in the 1980s and 90s before an unfortunate car accident sidelined her career. It’s been a bit of a drought too since previous English editions of her work like Helter Skelter or Pink nearly ten years ago. This comic from 1993 has a cast of high schoolers and their screwed up lives.
Until I Love Myself: The Journey of a Nonbinary Manga Artist by Pesuyama Poppy
Another special two volume autobiography in comic form from a Japanese nonbinary artist. From Viz Media.
The Surviving Sky by Krikita H. Rao
An epic lush eco SFF novel featuring solarpunk, yogic philosophy, and a stormy marriage for it’s two 30s-40s aged bi/pan protagonists where civilization is also on the line.
AUGUST
Guardian: Zhen Hun by Priest
Danmei novels appearing in English continue strong. This mysterious Chinese fantasy series around the head of special investigation unit tasked with unusual cases and an enigmatic university professor was the basis for a popular (and persevering under censorship challenges) live-action series in 2018. From Seven Seas.
They Were 11! by Hagio Moto
A classic sci-fi comic from the 1970s with some themes around gender and attraction influenced by the novel The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula Le Guin. I’ve reviewed the previous English edition from back in the 90s. Publisher Denpa is small operation so it’s taken some extra time but a new deluxe edition with the sequel is coming.
TBA
Kitchen of Witch Hat by Hiromi Sato and Shirahama Kamome
The Witch Hat Atelier series is beloved in many languages and garnered awards. This ongoing spin-off comic series is another treat, literally as Qifrey and Olruggio get up to cooking. From Kodansha USA.
Savage Alice by Hwang Jungeun
There’s been big trends for South Korean literature over the last few years. This 2013 novel with drag queen in a Hedwig vein between the big city of Seoul and a smaller hometown will be translated to English by Janet Hong.
Star Clock Liddell by Uchida Yoshimi
Did someone say older philosophical Japanese girls’ comics? Indie publisher Glacier Bay Books has licensed this 1980s haunting three volume comic series.

About Yoga
Like many people from the West I started "doing" Yoga with youtube; Adrienne, Kassandra, etc. That was 6 years ago. It connected me to my body and my breath and it felt so magical but I never dared to go deeper because I thought that wasn't for me. By "that" I mean not only Yoga as a whole but spirituality. I started to delve deeper just a year ago, in May 2023, when I began reading Yoga-Sûtra and looking for more authentic teachers (for me).
I tag things I find interesting with # my practice.
About Tarot
I also started to read tarot (and oracles) since May 2023 so needless to say I am still learning, but I want to offer readings because I felt called to do so and also I think it helps my learning. I don't do pick a pile readings but weekly and monthly ones, just like I do for myself. Feel free to leave some feedback if you want. If you need a personal reading you can also let me know.
[June 3nd note: I did a weekly pick a pile reading so maybe I will do more]
The decks I use are:
- Golden Universal Tarot.
- Fortunate Tarot Poetry book by Kim Rashidi, not a deck but I do use it and I love it.
- Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani. I don't use the deck itself but I look at the guidebook to see the deities, folklore and fairy tales that Yoshi chosed for each card.
- A Yogic Path oracle by Sahara Rose. I use the chakra, ayurveda and yoga cards for the weekly reading and the spirituality and deities cards for the monthly reading.
- Starseed Oracle by Rebecca Campbell. I do not really believe in starseeds but I find this deck beautiful.
- Moon Witch by Cosmic Valeria (french version). I do not practice Witchcraft but this deck really resonates with me.
- The W.I.T.C.H. oracle game my mom got my sister and I when we were 9 years old. I use it for extra messages.
About Astrology
Here is the masterpost for my readings!
I also made a little Tarot tips post.
I do not have much to say about this. I have been interested for a really long time but never really got into it fully. I wanna learn about Hellenistic and Verdic astrology. Lately I have been loving the Chani app.
