Tía Y/N (Madrigal triplets & Reader) part 2
Tumblr media
Part 1
_____________________
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
"I WASN’T EVEN PART OF THIS!"
"FÉLIX, I WANT A DIVORCE!"
"JULIETA, COME BACK HERE!"
“YES JULI, COME BACK!
“NEVER!”
“SHE DOESN’T HIT YOU THAT HARD!”
"BETTER YOU THAN ME!"
“YOU’RE THE ELDEST! YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE FOR YOUR BABY SIBLINGS”
“I KNOW NO SIBLINGS BUT THE ONE WITH THE CHANCLA BEHIND US, YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN”
“JULIETAAAAAAAA”
Alma tried not to laugh and maintain a serious face, but it was quite difficult when her triplets, all 50 years old with their own families, ran as a soul that the devil carries to avoid what everyone is afraid of: la chancla.
She didn't really know what was happening, it had been a quiet and normal morning, with the whole family taking a day off to enjoy each other's company. She had been embroidering with Mirabel in the living room (she did it more and more often, in an attempt to fix the relationship with her younger granddaughter), when Isabela and Camilo had entered laughing out loud, with Felix and Luisa smiling behind them.
They did not even have time to ask what happened before three green, yellow and blue spots flew next to them, with a very angry Y/N yelling from upstairs.
Alma was no fool, she knew that you, her eldest daughter and the one who reminded her most of Pedro (at least in appearance), had long taken the role that corresponded to her in the life of the triplets. On the one hand, she was happy they had you, but on the other it hurt her heart and guilt consumed her for knowing that she was never really present in her children's life to the point where they had to turn to you for help.
She never knew when Bruno had told you that he didn't want to have his own family, that he was not interested in having a partner of any kind. She wasn't present when Pepa had run to you on the first day of her period, or in the long night talks about crushes when she met Félix. She didn't even know that Julieta liked women too.
Just a few months ago she had discovered that Pepa calmed down when she was caressed, that Bruno liked to play the guitar or that Julieta loved painting and that the beautiful pictures in your room were made by her. In truth, she didn't know her own children. But you did.
You had been with them on every step of the road, even when they took different paths, you had never let them be lost for a long time. A task that you later performed with the grandchildren as well. Isabela and Dolores had learned to walk with you, Luisa always looked up to you especially when she had a problem, Camilo told you the secrets that he could never tell his parents, Antonio still followed you around all day when he was feeling sad and Mirabel...for the girl you were the whole world. There was absolutely nothing that she didn't tell you.
You were the only other family member besides her grandmother who didn't have a gift, you understood what it was to grow up with magical siblings when there was nothing special in you, you understood the looks of people's judgment, murmurs and teasing. That was why you had made your special mission to make the girl protected from all that.
Little by little, you wove a warm blanket of love and humility, you taught her that she did not need to have a gift to be a light, to shine and be a source of comfort. Mirabel could be identical to Julieta in appearance, but she was definitely a coal copy of you in everything else.
It took her too long to realize it, but now Alma understood that the miracle, the magic, was not what united them, that it was only a feature that most of them shared and nothing else. The answer was you. Really, you were the angel who kept the family together.
...And that's why no one should mess with you, unless they wanted all of heaven's strength chasing them. Or that it was one of the triplets. 50 years and they had not yet learned not to make you angry? Or perhaps it was their way of getting your attention when they felt you were abandoning them for the grandchildren.
A silly thought perhaps, but children will always be children, and the age did not matter, they would always need even if it was just a hug from their mother. And you were definitely the triplets' mother, no matter how much it hurt her.
"What do you think happened?" Mirabel whispered, taking her out of her thoughts
"I don't know" Alma smiled "but it must have been bad if your mother is running too"
It was true. Of the three, Julieta was usually the one that was spared from your fury. It was no secret to anyone that she was your favorite sister/daughter/family/person, despite Pepa and Bruno's anger, who would always get offended when her sister avoided your scolding.
"What about Julieta?! She also helped with the joke!" they would said
"Maybe, but she looks cute doing it" you'd shrug "besides, who could be mad at this precious face?" You would add while taking your sister by the cheeks
Your younger siblings would cross their arms and looked at you with an annoyed pout while a black cloud hovered on the redhead, and Julieta simply let you use her cheeks as a squishy and fill her face with kisses (something she took from you and did with her niece, nephews and daughters too), while she smirked at them.
The only times she actually got scolded was when she wasn't taking care of her own health. So either Julieta just wanted to do exercise or whatever the hell they did was really stupid and dangerous.
"YOU'RE ALL SO GROUNDED!!" You growled when you managed to get to the first floor.
You cursed Casita for siding with the triplets and letting them run while it trapped you on the second floor, but that didn't mean they were safe. Nope, there was no escape.
"What happened, mija?" Alma asked you walking up to you
"Your mocosos share the same fried brain cell and unfortunately for them, it wasn't Julieta's turn to have It" you growled
Your mother laughed and rolled her eyes fondly. She knew that you loved your siblings more than anything and that any insult you might have for them would never come out of the heart, just from a motherly anger, and there was something she could think that this was about.
"Did they try to test Julieta's gift with poisoned food again?" She asked
"They tried to test my patience" you answered "they used arsenic, mom. ARSENIC!"
Okay, that was new. Alma felt bad for thinking it, but she could have expected something that stupid and irresponsible from Pepa and Bruno, but Julieta? She knew better than that, she wasn't a silly girl who didn't know what arsenic could do. She must have been really desperate to get your attention if she let her siblings drag her into that.
"How are they even alive?" She gasped
"Félix caught them before they could even finish the empanadas and ran to tell me" you sighed "and I'm glad he did"
"Of course, I don't want to thinking what could have happened to them"
"And because now I can kill them myself"
Alma looked at you for a moment. You were frowning and looked ready to hit whoever stood in front of you, but she was still your mother and she could see the fear in your eyes, and honestly, she felt it too. She followed your gaze to see her younger children still running and she made a note to scold them right after you.
You felt your mom's aura changing and knew she was on your side, so you smirked and took your sandal with a single move, your eyes never leaving your adorably stupid siblings.
"Who do you want me to hit?" You asked, just for fun
Alma thought about it for a second. Julieta would definitely get the worst scolding once they were back for letting the other two convince her to do something stupid, but you both knew it hadn't been her idea. It probably wasn't even Bruno's, but there was someone who had never feared death nor god.
"The middle one" she told you
You nodded and focused on your victim for a moment before your chance flew directly at her. Your smirk never left your face and grew even more when Pepa fell to the ground after it hit her right in the head. Bruno and Julieta didn't even look at their fallen sister, they just ran faster to save their lives.
"AND YOU BETTER BRING IT BACK TO ME, YOUNG LADY" You yelled at the redhead while the whole family laughed behind you.
These three would be the end of you one day, you were sure of that. But god knew you wouldn't have them any other way. Besides, they were your cute little babies, so you guessed that gave them some points too.

Hello! Hope I'm doing this right :)
Sooooo about the Brooklyn 99 au................ I am very excited and wanted to ask if triplets and Alma (and Pedro) are in the picture too? And who is the new captain, is it who I think it is? 😀🫢
And is the precinct like Casita? Maybe it is a really old place and it creaks sometimes and it sounds like it's talking? And maybe the characters interpret the precinct 'talking' according to their needs (like, Mirabel or Dolores - to prove their point, or Camilo - to have an excuse to fool around)?
And do the Madrigals fall in the established characters (e.g. I suppose Camilo could be Peralta, Luisa or Isabela - Rosa and etc.)?
And how does Aaron look like?
And do you mind if I come up with a kind of a story with this au? I have an idea, and I think it would get richer once I hear your answers!
There is no right or wrong way to do it, don’t worry!
I love it when people send me tons to answer.
This is going to be a long one.
Alma, Julieta, Pepa and their husbands are in the picture too, yes. But serve as relatively background roles, I’m afraid - to fill the parental relationships that you see in B99. They’ve been split, so each of them does parent one of their respective “kids”. There is an exception to this, however, as Pedro, Antonio and Bruno (we’ll come back to him) aren’t related to any of the “kids” at all and are their own characters.
Alma is Bruno’s mother
Julieta is Luisa and Mirabel’s mother
Agustín is Isabela’s father
Pepa is Camilo’s mother
Félix is Dolores’ father
However, they all keep elements of both their canon parents.
E.g.
Tumblr media
Mirabel’s design is inspired by Agustín - very classy and formal in her dress.
But yes, Bruno (who keeps the surname Madrigal) is going to be their new captain.
~~~
The precinct is how you see it in the show. Modern building.
Casita, however, plays a role as the local bar in place of Shaw’s. Where it is in fact old and creaking. A theory is passed around that the place is haunted - though that is mainly to scare off firefighters, and occasionally Mirabel (Camilo likes winding her up)*. In saying that, there has been unexplained accounts of strange things happening.
The odd door might hit you if you get too riled up. The chairs always seem to be there to catch you. There’s a few tiles that seemingly clink to the music. Etc.
*To note - Mirabel was in a collapsing building as a child and she still gets freaked out over any building being potentially broken or unsafe.
~~~
They somewhat fall into established characters. Some more than others:
Camilo is Jake
Aaron is Charles
Osvaldo is Hitchcock
Rendon is Scully
Dolores is Amy (NOT romantically)
Isabela and Luisa both flick back and forth between being Rosa & Gina. Isa can’t do the more stoic and silent demeanour of Rosa, while Luisa isn’t quite as bold and verbally brutal as Gina.
Mirabel doesn’t really fit with any pre-established character, but is somehow the mother of the squad (in spite of literally being the youngest and having no authority). If you consider Terry being the father. So there’s that.
Bruno initially starts off a lot like Holt, but slowly becomes more of himself as time progresses and Camilo starts bringing out his more chaotic side.
~~~
Aaron was purely created for the purpose of giving Camilo his own Boyle.
I’ve been using this kid (from the Where Is Bruno Hiding? Book) as inspiration for his design:
Tumblr media
~~~
I am absolutely honoured that you’ve taken such an interest in my AU. I’d love to hear more of your story idea first, if that’s alright.
It is still new and I haven’t done much for it yet myself, as this is the first ask I’ve received from it.

Sooo tomorrow is Encanto fools day, launched by @hectic-hector and I decided to post something for the day!
Tomorrow I'll also post a fanart! But until now, here is a ficlet you can also find here on Ao3!
Fluff/attempt at humor/arguing/pranks
931 words
Couldn't find anyone to proofread it so it's not proofread.
Who did the prank?
Summary:
Mirabel got down the stairs to find Camilo surrounded by his parents, her parents, Isabela and their Abuela Alma. Feeling curious, she approached to hear him whining, “I did nothing! I swear!”
Another day was starting at Casa Madrigal. Mirabel got down the stairs to find Camilo surrounded by his parents, her parents, Isabela and their Abuela Alma. Feeling curious, she approached to hear him whining, “I did nothing! I swear!”
Julieta sighed, counterarguing with sadness, “It can hardly be anyone else though.”
“But I didn’t! I didn’t have time to do any of my April’s fools jokes!” Then, pouting a bit, he admitted, ”I wanted to hide the oil so you would have to look for it all around Casita! But, when I arrived, you were already pranked.”
Julieta looked sceptical, but didn’t reply anything. She mused on it, locking eyes with the other Madrigals as if looking for their opinion.
Mirabel felt so bad for Camilo! She knew he wouldn’t deny any of his pranks. The boy was always happy to let people know they had been pranked! In order to help him, she asked as she stopped just beside her cousin, “Can’t it be someone else?”
To which, Julieta replied with embarrassment, “He was the only one up when I came down to cook, and I noticed the switch right away.”
“I’m innocent!” insisted Camilo, keeping whining.
While she was trying to find a way to help his cousin out of this situation, Félix noted with a thoughtful look, "It's possible it really wasn't him. He isn't the only naughty one in the family and some of us have distance gifts."
He pointed at Isabela to mean she was another possibility. As she followed his finger, Mirabel finally noticed her sister was busy removing googly eyes from the leaves on her dress, her face scrunched in frustration. Not bothering looking up at them, she brushed it off by claiming, "I would have loved to have done it, but I unfortunately didn’t think about it.”
"It's not me though!" argued Camilo.
"And you’re not the one who put these things on my plants either, I guess?” she growled, finally looking at him with suspicion.
He denied, shocked, “No! Again, I didn’t have time to do any prank!” Then, doing his best to manage a smile, he remarked, “One of them could have been made by Tío Bruno! He proved he can be pretty sneaky when he wants to."
Bruno arrived just at that moment, getting down the stairs with a confused look. WIth his messy hair, his tired eyes and his lack of energy, he looked like he just woke up. “Huh? What’s happening?”
“Bruno! Did you switch the salt and the sugar?” Pepa asked him bluntly. “Or put googly eyes on-”
“Someone switched the salt and the sugar?” he replied, suddenly worried.
He started looking in his pockets, while Félix added, “I also woke up with a streak of my hair dyed.” He pointed at his head, which was bearing a red section of hair, before keeping going, glancing at Camilo, “I immediately thought it could be Isabela since she has her way to do so but it honestly could be someone else.”
“It’s not me either!” denied Camilo, clearly frustrated.
“And I didn’t dye it,” shrugged Isabela. “Could be Tía Pepa, she sleeps beside you.”
He turned to his wife at the argument, admitting, “Good point! Amor, did you-”
Pepa started to thunder, complaining, “What? No! You really think I’d use that position to prank you?”
He joked, “Well, I wouldn’t mind if it had been you!” Then, turning to others with confusion, he asked, “Who is it then?”
Before any of them could reply anything, Bruno beat them to it by complaining, “Someone strapped weird hats on my rats’ heads.”
The rat he was holding was wearing a funny banana hat, which it was trying to remove by shaking its head. Bruno was helping it, glancing nervously at another one with a capybara head hat on his shoulder. Mirabel hurried to help him, though she was holding back a laugh.
Sighing, Pepa revealed, "I've been pranked too anyway. Someone moved my dresser on the other side of my room. I thought it was you, Félix."
"Mi amor! I'm so happy you think I'm strong enough to do that alone," he laughed, genuine. Then, in a more curious tone, he asked, "Someone pranked you?"
She nodded. Then, she turned to Isabela. "Now that I think of it, your plants are strong enough to move them.”
“I did nothing!” claimed Isabela, before explaining with a sigh, “I wanted to wrap Mirabel’s room with wrapping paper but I hadn’t got time to do so.”
Between shock and laughter, Mirabel exclaimed, “You wanted to wrap my room?”
“Yeah...It would have been so fun...” Isabela said, saddened.
“Well, if it’s not you then who is it? Can’t be that many people who are strong enough for that.”
"Luisa would be," remarked Camilo.
Mirabel saw her Abuela visibly worrying, before easing when Pepa discarded it. "No way! That girl would never prank anyone."
While the family kept arguing, accusing one another of the bad deed, Mirabel got closer to her to whisper, “Abuela, did Luisa do it?”
Alma nodded, confessing in a low voice, “We did it together, she and I.”
Then, she put a finger on her lips to signal her to keep quiet. She seemed to have a lot of fun watching her family looking for the trickster. Mirabel couldn’t blame her for that! It was great to see her family actually communicating after all they went through. Why she decided to stay on the side, watching the scene with her abuela, both of them enjoying themselves watching their family arguing.

"Ugh...what...what hit me?" Mirabel groaned awake slightly as she blinked a little bit.
"That would be a majority of the Casita Small Lady." A familiar voice said and Mirabels eyes shot open.
"Plu-nee?" Mirabel blinked and she felt gently hands put her glasses on her face.
"Easy there little princess. You needed some healing, thankfully the little prince called for us." That was Michirus voice and Mirabel blinked repeatedly to clear the fuzziness and adjust to the dim light of the night.
The first thing she saw when she looked up was a white regal dress, kind blue eyes and golden hair shining in the moonlight.
"Mama? What happened?" Mirabel asked and Sailor Moon smiled and kissed Mirabels head. There was a choking sob like noise from somewhere off to the side but Mirabel was focused on her mama and the rest of the Sailors as Antonio crawled into her lap to hug her tight.
"You tried to save a candle rather than worry about yourself baby girl. The house fell on you. Luckily Antonio called for us and we were able to find and heal you." Sailor Moon said and Mirabel saw how each of the scouts relaxed a lot more now that Mirabel was awake and moving around.
Then she felt a smack upside the head.
"Don't you ever scare us like that again or I swear, Princess or not I'm going to tan your hide!" That was Mars who looked mad, like she usually did when she was worried.
"Ow! Mars-nee!" Mirabel whined slightly, acting like the hit hurt a bit to make the sailor of Fire feel a little better. Like Mirabel would learn her lesson.
"Usually I'd be telling you to take it easy on little kitten Mars but I actually agree with you on this one. Don't scare us like that again kitten." Uranus said looking at Mirabel who shot her a grin.
"We're Sailor Scouts. You know I can't promise you that." Mirabel said and Plu sighed as Uranus shrugged in acceptance. Yeah that was a good point.
"I fully blame this on you your majesty." Plu said flatly to Sailor Moon who gave her an innocent smile that fooled no one.
"M-Mirabel? Did...did you call her mama?" Julieta choked out stepping forward and looking heartbroken.
"Yes? What else would I call mama? Are you okay Senora Julieta?"
SAILOR MOON AU LES GO ⁉️⁉️⁉️
Ok but…the way she was like “What I hit me?” And they were like “Casita.” Dawg we can’t just brush past that 💀💀 But I’m glad they worried about her 💥💥💥 it was messed up how the family didn’t really try to help her, more so just yelled at to get out. As if she could just say “Ok,” and waltz out Casita like it was falling around her.
Also???? Why was Julieta so surprised 😭😭 Homegirl, you kinda just…left your child along for 10 years, I don’t really know what you expected. I don’t care how much of a workaholic you are, Family > Work. That’s just the way it is
Stan Antonio for coming in clutch man

Who do you think would officiate LeFou Deux's and Claudine Frollo's wedding?
I read that the captain of a ship has the ability to officiate marriages, if they take place on a ship. And the first mate has the ability, if it's the captain who's getting married, although that wouldn't apply here. I don't know if this is true, though.
I also read that kings can officiate marriages? I read a fanfiction once where Ben officiates Harry and Uma's wedding. Although I don't know if this is true either.
(Depending on what headcanon/AU this is in, if it's the one where Claudine and some other Isle kids go to live in Encanto, they could have that priest do it. Priests can officiate marriages also.)
Or they could just go to a justice of the peace or something like normal people.
Basically every character in Descendants ever: "Normal? What's that?"
Tumblr media
Well, Harriet of course would officiate their wedding since she's their captain. And they would ask her. Claudine doesn't want to ask the priest because of her religious trauma obviously and Lefou Deux/Lee isn't very religious. And niether of them are that close to Ben and there's no way they'd ask Beast, so they ask Harriet. Who'd agree Happily.
The flower girl would be Lee's youngest cousin, Gemma. The ring barrer woulder be Antonio (if he was five here) and if he wasn't five, them be Lee's younger brother, La Foux Doux or Fox as he's more commonly known. The Gaston twins are acting as the bouncers to keep their dad, the Enchantress, and Frollo from showing up.
Ginny, Mad Maddy, Jade, Dolores, and Mirabel would be bridesmaids and Luisa would be the Maid of honor. Sammy, Anthony, Rick, Derek Dwarfson, and Clay would be Lee's groomsmen and Diego would be his best man. Bruno would walk Claudine down the isle.
The Madrigals and Lee's siblings and cousins and aunts and dads and mom would all be there, as would their mice and Antonio's pets. And Harriet's siblings and their crews since their family. And Quasimodo and Zephyr and Phobeus and Esmerlda and Madellaine since Claudine has grown close to them. And her uncle from the og Hunchback of Notre Dame book.
It would take place a few years after they started dating and in the encanto because it's their home. More home than the isle has ever been. And the mice would have front row seats and it would just be a day where nothing goes wrong other than Lee tripping into something. Because they deserve that much, don't they?
Also Lee, Bruno, Mariano, Félix, nd Augustín would be besties.
Also also their ship names are soaring angel and hellbound fool if anyone wants to use the ship. Tag me of you fo cause I wanna read it.

My #1 post of 2022
Encanto Characters’ Birthdays and Their Significance
Isabela Madrigal was born on August 7, the day of the battle of Boyaca and the month during which the Festival of Flowers is celebrated.
Dolores’ birthday is August 31, coinciding with the International Day for People of African descent as well as Saint Raymond Nonnatus’ Feast Day, said Saint also being the patron saint of confidentiality.
Mirabel’s birthday is March 6, the same as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, as an homage to him due to his works being the Encanto staff’s inspiration for magical realism.
Luisa’s birthday is November 14, also known as the Civic Day of the Colombian Woman, which itself is set on the date of the execution of Colombian war heroine and spy Policarpa Salavarrieta.
Camilo was born on December 28, which is also Holy Innocents Day, the Colombian equivalent of April Fool’s Day.
Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno are born on October 17, tragically, coinciding with the date of the start of the Thousand Days’ War.
Agustin was born on June 19, which is Fathers’ Day in Colombia.
Felix’s birthday is November 11, which is also Cartagena’s Independence Day.
And finally, little Antonio was born on May 21, which falls on the same date as Afro-Colombian Day.
Alma’s birthday is currently unknown.
I hope you found this information as interesting and as fascinating as I did! The source is the Disney fandom on the wiki as well as Jared Bush on Twitter. It’s amazing how their birthdays all fall on significant dates while still being in the right order!

every couple days I think about that critique of encanto I saw that said they can’t view Mirabel as a fifteen year old because all they hear is an adult woman talking every time she opens her mouth and I’m like… I don’t know about y’all but I can not tell the difference between the voices most women from ages 15-30 like a fifteen year old could do the voices of a early-years-adult woman and I would not notice, and vice versa. Good on y’all though you have great hearing distinctions not me tho

hii!! i saw ur requests were open and wanted to ask for fluffy camilo x fem!reader??
basically reader is passive-aggressive to seemingly everyone (not kids but no one knows that bc kids r scared of her 😭) but camilo fell for her bc he always spotted her when she was calm looking at the moon and such so when he asked her to help with his chores at casita, she did it bc he helps her alot (even w/o her asking) and when they were done she spotted antonio who came up to her and asked her to play while camilo was distracted and when he found reader she was playing with antonio and his animals and confessed maybe ??
sorry it’s alot 😭😭
if u get to it tysm ❤️
Tumblr media
this prompt is adorable i love it (i did change up the last bit just a little though so hope you're okay with that!)
camilo madrigal with a passive aggressive s/o || camilo x fem!reader
pairing(s): camilo x fem!reader
warnings: slight angst (and build up. so much build up)
word count: 4423
you've always been told your attitude is one the more derailing aspects of your personality. lucky for you, one little shapeshifter is willing to overlook your passive aggressive nature.
adults/18+ dni camilo's 15 just remember people go to jail for this
(requests for camilo, isabela, luisa and maribel are open! send in an ask at any time; requests already sent are being worked on <3)
"excuse me, dear, but would you mind taking this plate of empanadas down to señora mazia for me? she mentioned she wasn't feeling well this morning."
you raised an eyebrow at the request, shuffling the laundry basket you held in her hands to look your neighbor straight in the eye. "i'm busy right now. any reason you can't do it yourself?"
señorita yzma chuckled somewhat awkwardly, avoiding your cold gaze with a cough behind her blouse sleeve. "w-well, dear," she stuttered. "you see, i have been very busy with my chores today, and-"
you sighed, and ultimately decided to evade this conversation any longer by taking the plate from the woman's hand with a heavy huff. "it'll be done by sundown," you proclaimed harshly, and walked off without another word.
you weren't a fool. you've heard what the other townspeople have said about you, even ever since you were young; your reputation hadn't always been the best, to say the least.
"hey, isn't she the one who told off señora pala for having to help carry stuff for mirabel madrigal's quinceañera?"
"woah, you're right! wow, i didn't know people could be so mean."
"not to mention that one time she scared off the town's kids with her horrid temper."
"sometimes i can't even believe she's still allowed to live here."
you'd never done half the things they gossiped about. as you had learned from an early age, people loved to twist stories whether it be for personal gain or just entertainment purposes. it was horribly unfair.
however, unbeknownst to you, a certain camilo madrigal knew better.
you hadn't even known he was there that night. it had been quite the long day, having been forced to run all around the encanto to finish all of your chores before the sun fully set in the sky. (including señora mazia's empanadas- sure, they were a bit cold when they were finally delivered, but at least it was done.)
it was around midnight when you decided all of your responsibilities for the day had been completed, and you were exhausted. not only physically, but mentally. so, you had wondered, why not take some time to yourself?
it wasn't recently you had taken to watching the moon as a sort of release from your stress. you had actually developed this habit when you were much younger, when you were always belittled for your attitude towards other children your age. you had stomped off on your own one night, embarrassed and stressed out of your mind, and had accidentally stumbled across the most breathtaking cliff you've ever seen. it was just at the edge of the encanto, overlooking a sea of jungle and extravagant greenery. adorning this cliff, right above your head, sat a full moon in all of its magnificent glory. with this moon came a sudden sea of calm that washed over you, and you'd been hooked ever since.
today felt eerily similar to that night, and you decided to take some time to yourself. so, you snuck out of your home after you were certain the rest of your family was asleep, and began the trek to your beloved cliffside.
as soon as the moon appeared in full view you could feel your tense muscles relax immediately. you settled in your usual spot atop the cliff- a fetal position with your head tipped upwards- and begun your simple yet calming routine: staring at the moon, occasionally looking over to count all of the constellations you could recognize, then back at the moon again.
it was twenty, maybe thirty minutes into your moongazing session when you heard what sounded like a soft gasp from the edge of the clearing behind you. your head swerved to look for the source of the sound, only to see the slightest disturbance in a bush nearby. you rose to your feet to investigate the sound, but there was little to no trace of someone else being there other than the rustling of leaves and other quiet noises all throughout the jungle.
must've been an animal of some sort, you thought to yourself. but as you settled down in your spot once again you couldn't help but feel as if there was someone else watching the moon with you.
---
the days that followed after that night were... interesting, to say the least. somewhere along the line you had attracted the attention of the camilo madrigal, and to your surprise, he was very adamant that you notice his advances. you weren't sure why or even how he knew you existed, but you supposed you could play along.
at first, it was the small things. he had approached you one day seemingly out of the blue, a charming look in his eyes as he offered to take the laundry basket in your arms off your hands. you shrugged, assuming this was just one of the many times the madrigals were instructed to help citizens in the encanto and handed it off to him with a somewhat cold "they just have to be hung up" before wandering off to complete the rest of your chores for the day. still a bit suspicious, however, you looked over your shoulder the second you were about to turn the corner, and when you did so, camilo was happily pinning up each article of clothing with an almost dreamy smile on his face. you were slightly confused, yet now content that he would follow through on the rest of the laundry, and continued on.
the day after, camilo returned, and this time he seemed determined to follow you around similar to a lost puppy looking for its owner. it was certainly endearing, you decided, especially when he attempted to kill a fly or two meandering about near the top of your head as you worked. he offered to help from time to time, however at his displeasure you refused. while you appreciated the thought, you couldn't just rely on him to do everything for you.
plus, said a quieter yet still nagging thought at the back of your head, soon he'll realize you're just as mean as everyone says you are and decide you're not worth his time.
but, weirdly enough, as the days went on this thought was continuously proven to be wrong. nearly every day he offered to help you with your chores or simply followed you around. he chased off pesky bugs, covered conversations for you when it was excruciatingly apparent you weren't up for irritating small talk, or just simply watched you work with what appeared to be admiration glimmering in his olive gaze. not to mention the occasional questions about yourself and what you liked to do. nobody ever stayed around long enough to know half the things you mentioned in fleeting conversation with him. it was... different. unexpected.
so, when about three weeks passed and the time came for camilo to ask you to return the favor, you couldn't find it within you to say no.
"oh, mi alma! there you are. i've been looking all over the encanto for you." there it was again. the nicknames. they weren't all that prominent at first but recently it seemed as if you couldn't get through a single conversation without being called some form of an endearing name from the other.
"camilo, we talked about the nicknames." you put down the crate of oranges you were holding and turned to face him. as you did so you were greeted with a cheeky smile and eyes that made your heart feel like it was about to beat out of your chest. an usual feeling at least.
the shapeshifter hummed, leaning against the wall of the house next to you as you both talked. "i know, i know," he sighed. "but i'm just speaking the truth! how else would you be able to know how much i adore you?"
you'd be lying if you said your face didn't nearly flush at that. you turned your head slightly, assuring your cheeks were out of his field of vision before continuing on with stacking the rest of the crates in their proper places. "you don't have to do any of that," you muttered. "but if you're trying to butter me up you can help me move all these boxes."
camilo chuckled at that, and leaned forward to take the crate you were already holding in your arms in his own. "anything for you, mi vida." he saluted you with another smile and began going to work at your side. on occasion he shapeshifted into someone a bit stronger when he was struggling with carrying a crate, but most of the time when you looked over all you saw was a determined look in his eyes, as if he was trying to prove something. what exactly, you weren't quite sure.
you both worked in silence for a while, moving boxes of apples and various fruits and vegetables onto a small platform for someone to pick up later, before camilo cleared his throat and looked over at you. "say," he began. "mi mama wanted me to help out around casita this afternoon. i thought maybe i could ask you for help, since you-"
"so you were trying to butter me up."
"i-" camilo paused. "i wouldn't call it that. consider it a sort of sweet talking encouragement, eh?"
you rolled your eyes. "that's still the same thing, camilo."
"okay, maybe there was a bit of buttering up, but..." he trailed off with a quiet sigh. "well, would you mind helping out for a while? it wouldn't take all day."
camilo watched you with expectant eyes as you thought about his offer. eventually you sighed and shook your head in resignation. "alright, fine," you conceded. "consider it me paying you back for helping out all the time."
the shape shifter blinked in surprise when you agreed, almost as if he wasn't expecting you to do so. once he recovered from the initial shock camilo smirked cheekily and lifted one of the final boxes from its spot on the floor. "we better hurry then. i may have told mama that i'd only be a few minutes, so she might be a bit..."
a quiet flash of thunder sounded from the now cloudy skies above. "moody?" you sighed.
"just a little bit."
---
"okay, you stay here. i think the cleaning supplies are somewhere upstairs, and while i'd love for this to be the way i introduce you to my family, mama doesn't exactly know i asked you for help."
you raised an eyebrow. "wait. pepa doesn't know i'm here? couldn't you get in trouble for that?" you asked, receiving a laugh from camilo in response. "only if we get caught, mi vida." his sneaky grin wasn't exactly encouraging, but nonetheless you watched him wander off in search of whatever it is you needed to do the necessary chores. la casa madrigal didn't appear to look all that dirty, but you just assumed that was just one of the many magical properties the house contained.
you weren’t exactly known for your patience, and as a result it wasn't even 5 minutes before you started getting antsy. you'd never been in la casa madrigal, excluding some gift ceremonies when you were younger, so it was only now you could truly appreciate the wonder of the house. it was as if the walls and floors were thrumming with power beneath the surface, and you supposed that was entirely possible with how the house seemed to have a mind of its own. the soft smell of roses and other flowers surely grown by isabela added to the tingling sensation the house brought to your senses, and while not exactly calming, you found your irritation beginning to cease the longer you stayed in your spot on the tile floor.
it wasn't long until you spotted a hummingbird chirping happily at a single carnation plant nearby. you assumed it was just extracting nectar from the purple flower and decided to pay no mind, however as soon as you looked away from the animal a slight hum could be heard from its direction. it turned its head to face you, and flew off in a different direction of the house when you made eye contact. or, at least, what you assumed to be eye contact; its eyes were a bit small.
that was... weird, you thought to yourself, and eventually settled with your back to the wall as you waited for camilo to return.
"hi."
you jumped in surprise at the sudden sound, swerving to find where the voice came from only to be greeted with the sight of antonio madrigal. the little boy had a toucan on his left shoulder, and as you took in his appearance you noticed the same hummingbird from earlier was settled precariously on the top of his head.
"uh, hi." you blinked in mild surprise at the calm look on antonio's face. kids typically hated you from first glance, or even tried to pull pranks on you if they were brave enough. antonio, however, just looked at you with a sort of innocent curiosity. a surprising change, yet welcome.
you recovered from your initial astonishment incredibly quickly, and crossed your arms as the young madrigal gazed at you without saying a word. "can i help you?" you asked, an almost defensive tone to your voice as you despised when other people stared at you without warning. antonio just shrugged in response and reached his hand out, allowing the hummingbird to hop down and dangle itself on his finger.
"you wanna come play with us?" he finally asked. "mama's getting onto camilo for not cleaning his room earlier, and bella said you looked lonely."
"bella as in... the bird?" you questioned, sounding a bit hesitant. antonio nodded. "she also said you smelled like oranges."
you clicked your tongue. "oookay." while you weren't exactly keen, you could sense your heart growing softer the longer you looked at antonio and his animals. in all honesty, you had a huge soft spot for kids (not that anyone knew that due to all of the running and screaming the towns children did when they even looked at you) and this was the first time in quite a while one of them wasn't too scared to face you. plus, you coincided, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do something fun while waiting for camilo to return. you had heard him complain on occasion about how long pepa's scoldings could be, and while you weren't all that patient you would feel bad leaving without letting him know much less helping with any of the chores.
"uh, sure," you eventually decided, and it was as if your agreement caused antonio to light up with excitement. "let's go to my room! that's where all of my animals like to stay." he grabbed your wrist with both hands and began pulling you towards the stairs, and to your own surprise, you let him.
---
"so, what exactly did you want to do?" you and antonio were both sitting on the floor of the latter's room - tree? you weren't quite sure - and it was clear with the rigidness of your posture that you were unsure what exactly you were meant to be doing.
"miguel likes to chase sticks. you can throw one if you want." antonio seemed incredibly at ease compared to you, a sight that you would rather die than admit made you envious. the animals inhabiting his room almost seemed to coddle him, as they were constantly circling or snuggling up against him as if he was one of their own. it was certainly an interesting sight to behold.
"right. and miguel is?..." antonio pointed behind your shoulder. "miguel's the jaguar," he explained, and it took everything in your power not to jump out of your skin. "the... jaguar." you repeated, voice hollow as what the little boy said processed in your mind.
antonio blinked, as if he was questioning why you seemed so hesitant. "yeah. he gets really playful, but he's nice as long as you don't tease him too much."
it was then you decided to turn around, and was greeted to the sight of a jaguar not even half your height sitting down. its eyes were a hazy green (not at all reminiscent of a certain madrigal. of course not) and its gaze seemed to pierce through you as it stared. while looking the small cat in the eyes was intimidating, you couldn't help but feel your heart melt at the sight of it.
"oh. hello there," you cooed, and as if he could understand what you were saying miguel purred as loud as his tiny body would let him and curled his tail tightly around your wrist. you hesitated once again as the jaguar stood, its tail still coiled around you, and stared almost expectantly at a single branch at the ground. you glanced over at antonio, and once you received a nod of encouragement, leaned over to pick up the stick and threw it across the wooden platform. in a split second miguel darted after the large twig in a flurry of tan and black fur. it was only a moment you had to wait before he was back at your side, the stick retrieved and now in his jaw and an excited look in his gleaming eyes.
you exhaled softly in astonishment. you hadn't expected him to come back so quickly, and especially with such speed. it didn't take you much prompting to throw the branch again, and again, with miguel pursuing after it every time. eventually a few more animals joined the excitement, and you could only watch in silent amazement as coatis, capybaras and even a toucan or two playfully tussled to be the one successful in bringing the stick back to you.
eventually the crowd of animals chasing after the toy grew immense, and it wasn't long before in their haste to bring the stick back to you that they were too excited to slow down and a sea of fur and ears barreled into you at full speed. you fell to the ground with a loud "oof", just barely biting back a swear as your head hit wooden planks. a ring of animals crowded around you, some squawking in surprise and what you interpreted to be concern, others still panting excitedly at the wild chase of attempting to capture the toy. for a split second you struggled to sit upwards, but the animals waited until you were back in your proper sitting position before diving towards you yet again.
"woah, woah, calm down! hey, that's my hair- ow, miguel! stop, your claws hurt-" a loud laugh elicited from your throat as you struggled to push the animals off of you. "here, go get the stick!" somewhere within the mix your hands made contact with the object of their attraction, and you threw it in a random direction in an attempt to prompt your attackers to follow. a toucan squawked loudly as it watched the stick fly in the air, taking off to meet where it had landed. the other animals immediately followed suit, excluding the pesky jaguar who still had its claws pinned to the sleeve of your blouse. "alright, c'mon, get off-"
the jaguar ignored your prompting, instead choosing to dig its head into the crook of neck and pawing at your stomach as it fought to unleash itself from the fabric. you laughed again, a soft smile on your face as you unhooked its claws with a gentle hand. once it was free the animal purred loudly and ran off to join its friends, leaving you sighing in relief.
"oh, hi, camilo!"
your body froze at the sound of antonio's call of greeting. you turned your head towards the door where you had entered the room minutes before, and you let out an almost silent squeak when you spotted the shapeshifter staring at you from a few feet away. his jaw seemed to be attempting to drop to the floor, eyes unblinking and wide, and you shrunk back under the intensity of his gaze. for some reason it felt as if you were caught doing something you shouldn't have, and you could feel the temperature in your cheeks steadily growing hotter as you registered just how vulnerable and at ease you had truly been in the moment. it was an unusual feeling for you, especially to display in front of others, so the feeling of being "caught" was almost overwhelming.
"i- um. hi," camilo spoke, and he almost seemed to move in slow motion. "i was coming here to ask if you knew where she was, but..." he trailed off.
you sat in shock for just a few moments, still attempting to register what raw emotion you had just displayed, before hastily clearing your throat and rising to your feet. "well, antonio, it was great talking to you and your animals, but it looks like camilo needs me now, so i think i'll get going-"
"actually, mi vida. do you mind if we, uh. go on just a quick walk? i just need to grab... something." it was then you realized camilo's face was incredibly flushed. from his cheekbones up to his nose the boy was peppered with a rosy blush, and you would be an idiot not to notice the sudden stutters in the other's voice. this caused your own blush to coat your cheeks, and internally you felt your panic begin to surge with embarrassment. "yeah, i can- okay, sure. um, nice meeting you properly, antonio. take care of miguel for me, and all of that!-"
and with that you raced out of the door, waiting not even a split second for camilo to trail behind you before walking off towards what you believed to be the back door of the house. "hey, mi vida! wait up a bit-" you immediately skid to a stop, turning around to make sure camilo wasn't that far behind only to feel him collide into your back at full force. "oh, ouch-" he groaned, reeling back and nearly running into a pillar just a few inches behind him.
"camilo, are you okay? i swear, i didn't mean to-" you turned and grasped his face in your hands, pure adrenaline and embarrassment coursing through your veins as you searched for any injuries. you didn't register the close proximity between you two until your worried gaze met his astonished olive eyes, and released him from your grasp almost immediately.
"sorry, sorry. okay, this is getting us nowhere." you took a few steps away from the shapeshifter, allowing yourself a moment to breathe as you both attempted to register just what exactly was happening. camilo seemed to gain his bearings rather quickly for just smashing his nose against your shoulder blade, and flashed you a charming yet soft grin.
"ay, amor," he murmured, the nickname causing a white hot rush of energy to leave tingles across your already burning cheeks. "no need to get so hasty. if you wanted to be so close, you could've just asked."
you gave the boy a sharp glare, crossing your arms across your chest indignantly in an attempt to save some of your dignity. "c'mon," you muttered. "let's just get this last thing you were talking about and get these chores over with. today's been tiring enough as is."
"actually, i, um, need to talk to you about something first." you rose an eyebrow at camilo's sudden change in tone. "okay," you said slowly. is pepa kicking me out? i swear, i knew it would be a bad idea to help without asking-"
camilo quickly shook his head. "no, none of that," he reassured, and reached over to take his hands in yours. "i just..." the shapeshifter took a sharp breath. "i just need you to listen, and try not to run away again. it's just me and you. no one else, alright?"
you hesitated before nodding slowly. "alright. go ahead," you breathed, and a sharp pang of anxiety hit you square in the heart as camilo cleared his throat. this was it, your brain told you. he saw that side of you and now he wants nothing to do with you. you knew it was all going to fall apart and yet you still got close-
"mi vida. amor. you are- how do i even begin to describe you? you're intelligent, and independent, and strong. you're not afraid to defend yourself, even when no one else seems to be listening to you. i've seen you work, and it's just... it's hard to describe how much i admire you. you always talked about how much you disliked my nicknames, but i couldn't help myself; the hidden smile on your face that you had whenever i used them was too tempting to not try and draw out. and then in antonio's room, with the animals. you just looked so... carefree. happy, even, and i-" camilo took a breath. "i want to make you laugh and smile like you did for them. every day, if you give me the chance. to cherish you and the look in your eyes you get every time you see something you like, and even the way you lash out when you're stressed. for you, i'd be willing to sit through any scathing remark you have. not to mention your beauty; you, mi amor, are breathtaking. i guess what i'm trying to say is... will you give me the privilege of taking you out on a date?"
it was if a cord inside you snapped. as soon as the last word left camilo's mouth you launched yourself forward, wrapping him in your arms and squeezing as tight as you could. for the first time since you were young, you finally felt seen. someone appreciated you for you, and that raw fact was so overwhelming you didn't even bother attempting to quell the tears threatening to spill across your cheeks. camilo flinched, not expecting the embrace, but quickly wrapped himself around you as well, shushing you quietly as you sobbed.
"is..." your body heaved with the effort to speak, and you pressed your face deeper into the crook of his neck. "is all of that true?" you eventually whispered, and camilo let out a soft murmur of affirmation. "every word," he spoke, and those two little words made the many, many walls you built over the years crumble.

Camilo Madrigal x fem! Reader
Hi!
This is a zombie I created.
It’s basically pieces I had in mind mended together somehow.
Hope you Enjoy!
.
█ █ █ █ █ 100% *Tuning complete*
.
-Ella es muy bonita, ¿verdad? (She’s really hot, isn’t she?)- whispered Camilo to himself, letting out a small whistle.
-Tu también eres muy bonito y gracias por el cumplido pero, por favor, repítemelo en mi lengua (You’re really hot too and thanks for the compliment but, please, repeat it in my language)- she said, winking at him before going into the house.
-Oh, feisty, aren’t we?- he said, following her a bit like a puppy.
Leaning against the handrail of the stairs, right before her, he smiled mischievously: -I like it-.
~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~
-Tío Bruno?- he repeated.
-Yes... what’s his deal?- she asked, moving some packages into the house.
-Seven foot frame with rats along his back, when he calls your name it all fade to black. Yeah he sees your dreams and feasts on your screa- he began saying.
-Yeah, yeah, sure. That sounds much more like a kid’s fantasy, rather than the description of a real person-
-What?! He’s just like that!- he protested.
-I’ll believe it once I see him. Anyways care to help me or not, shapeshifter?-
-Si, jefe (boss)- he laughed, turning into a more useful form.
~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~
-So... you love mi primo (my cousin) Camilo?- asked the curious Mirabel, elbowing her a bit.
From outside the older cousin’s door was Camilo, who started eavesdropping after he heard his name coming out from Mirabel’s room.
-Well... yes. I love him a lot- she admitted and Camilo felt his heart pumping crazily and all the blood going to his head, making him blush and smile like a fool.
Slowly he slid down the door, smiling and sighing: “She loves me! I’m in heaven! I’m the happiest human being alive!”
As if struck alive he began to run excitedly around the house, sharing his happiness to anyone willing (or not) to hear.
-Casita! Y/n loves me!-
-Luisa, she really loves me!-
-Abuela, Mama, Papa! She loves me!-
-Y/n LOVES ME!-
-Oh, I’m the happiest boy alive! Y/n loves m- he said, finding himself in front of said girl.
-Yep. I do- she smiled, as he began turning into a bunch of people out of panic.
Grabbing his ruana she pulled him in for a kiss.
-Now you can be the happiest boy alive. And I... can be the happiest girl alive-
~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~
-Mi amor, mi vida (my love, my life)... we’ve been together for so long and day after day I fell more and more in love with you. You’re the best I could ever ask for and I don’t want to lose you in any way, for any reason so... will you make me the happiest boy alive and marry me?- Camilo asked, down on one knee.
-That was done muy bien (very well), mi hijo (my son)! She’ll say si por cierto (yes, for sure)!-
-Gracias, papa (thanks dad)- he thanked, running up to their shared room, ready to propose.
-Mi amor (my love)!- he knocked.
As he got permission he entered the room, his courage beginning to let nervousness take the best out of him.
-Mi vida (my life)... marry me!- he just exclaimed while taking out the ring, bidding goodbye to all his practiced speeches.
Months and months working on them and he threw them in the trashcan like that!
Luckily for him she was in love with him, speech or not, and to his greatest joy she said: -No-.
As his face dropped she laughed a bit: -Just kidding, mi amor-
-Te quiero mas que mi vida (I love you more than (I love) my life) and I’d be honoured to become tu mujer (your wife/woman)- she added, tending him her hand so that he could put the ring on it.
-No more jokes like that mi amor, por favor (my love, please)- he chuckled, leaning in for a kiss.
-I’ll try to avoid that for future proposals-
-I don’t think you’ll receive any more proposals for I won’t let you-
-Possessive, aren’t we?- she smirked, remembering one of the first things he told her when they met.
-I like it-
~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~ + ~
Bonus
-Bruno... we need to talk!- said Pepa.
The poor man stared at the rest of the Madrigal family surrounding him threateningly, all but the soon to be wedded Camilo and Y/n.
-Oh, well yes! What, hermana (sister)?- he stuttered.
-Hey tío (uncle), I want not a word out of you!- said Isabela.
-I heard he gave them a prophecy already!- smiled Dolores.
-What!!!- they all exclaimed, Bruno included.
-And?- they asked, some turning to Dolores and other to Bruno.
-Well... - joined the bride, appearing behind them.
-... He told me that the man of my dream is already in my grasp and we’ll live happily!-
-Really?- asked Bruno, a bit perplexed because he didn’t remember saying anything like that.
-That’s how it is going to be. I guess your prophetic tendencies rubbed off me a bit- she smiled, as Camilo picked her up by the waist, pirouetting a bit with her and then kissing his soon-to-be wife.
Oh, how he couldn’t wait for the wedding to be over and finally have some time with his by-then wife!
And to be honest all his family was waiting for them to go on honey moon, Abuela (grandmother) even more than all the others: she couldn’t wait for grandkids.

....
Tumblr media
You were the youngest Madrigal (before Antonio's birth) and that means that all your cousins are protective of you.
Even if you are quiet and shy, and preferred to follow the steps of your Mama Alma and your aunts.
They love you in their way, and you love them too.
Isabela Madrigal
Tumblr media
Being little miss perfect is a really hard job for Isabella. When she could be fooling around with Dolores or laying in the grass and have her dress full of dirt, or just keep reading books about Botanics and all types of plants apart from flowers.
She’s always looking at you. Seeing you follow Abuela like a duckling, always nodding to her, always happy when you are praised. You kinda remind her of herself.
And you admire her, how pretty she is and how elegant and delicate her moves are. She makes mama Alma proud, so you tried to imitate her. But your shyness and insecurities always play against you. Making you look tense and about to cry in important events.
Isabela is the one who comforts you cause you don’t want to bother the adults.
She’ll carry you or take your hand. You’ll play with the laces of her dress to avoid any visual contact, and just let your nose be filled with the scent of lavender.
Both of you have a silent agreement to always help each other. When Alma commands Isabela something that she does not want to do, you would try to distract Alma and make puppy eyes to her. Saying that Isa promised a playdate with you or something like that.
You are her sweetheart, and her weak point, so she will accept.
Isabela, in payment for your kindness, will have no problem with actually having a playdate with you. Spoiling you a little bit (thanks to the gifts that the men of the town send her) or having a little picnic near to the crops.
Isabela talks a lot with you to compensate for your usual silence. Eventually, she will tell you her worries and that she doesn’t want you to be like her.
She wants to see you living your own life, free, happy, and confident.
You just look at her with shiny eyes and hug her every time that you can.
Growing out, the two of you became the face of the family, and secretly besties. You hypnotize Mariano every time that he and Isa have a date, and end up hanging out together while the young Guzman stays away, thinking that he is kissing your cousin.
When Alma said that the two would marry, you were really angry. And even if you love your grandma, you tried to talk with her and said that Isa is mature enough to decide when she wants to marry. and with who.
But Alma was stubborn, she thought that Isa will be happy with the decision and got angry with you, calling you selfish.
You hate upset people, especially your dear Mama Alma, but your desire to protect Isabela almost makes you hypnotize your grandma. It was Dolores who interrupt the two of you and drag along Isa to calm you down.
Isa hug you tightly and told you that everything was ok.
It was not. But in her arms, sometimes it would feel like it.
Dolores Madrigal
Tumblr media
You would not say that you have a favorite cousin.
But Dolores was your favorite from a young age.
When you were a baby, Bruno will always leave you with her, since both were quiet kids, he thought that It will be easy for you to open up with the family. It worked.
You like being around her, it was calming and relaxing. Dolores always knows what is going around your head and she will never say a word about it, instead, she comforts you petting you, or let sweet whisper scape her mouth, telling you funny things about the villagers.
Dolores liked you at first because you were a quiet child, in comparison with Camilo o Mirabel (who she babysit sometimes) your presence was more gentle and comfortable for her. With the years, she was the one who stands up to take care of you, or helps you, always listening to you, if you were sleeping good or not (in this case, she would go to your room and cuddle with you in completely silent)
She was the one who would stay awake at night (after Bruno’s disappearance), and when she listen to your loud cry, Dolores would not hesitate to come for you and hug you. Even if her ears hurt because it hurt her more to see you broken like this.
Growing up with her meant that you learned how to interpret her facial expression, especially her eyes. The two of you could communicate with a single glare, and all the Madrigals were still impressed by that.
Even when the two of you have duties to do, you would whispers to her randomly during the day and she would leave you romance books in your rooms, she knows that you love them, but everyone thinks that you’re still too young for romance. Dolores knows that they’re just being overprotective.
Oh God, she knows a lot of things. She knows about Bruno living in the walls. She knows about Isabela not wanting to marry Mariano. She knows of how sometimes Alma, Julieta, or even her mother will refer to you as Bruno when you are not around them, always by mistake, but they never correct themselves.
Sometimes Dolores is overloaded with sounds and information that she does not know what to do. She will stay all night walking alone around the house.
One day, you found her at 3 AM, you were reading the new book that she got for you and wanted to steal some cookies for the kitchen.
“What are you doing so late, Nena? “ She asked to you.
You felt your cheeks burn and point your book with your eyes.
She smiled, a smile full of tenderness.
“Could you read it to me? “ Dolores said.
You looked at her with confusion, but seeing her eyebags, you nod and took her hand, leading her to your room.
After some pages, both of you fell asleep immediately.
Pepa was the one who found you. That day, she calls Julieta with emotion. The sisters looked how, while you were sleeping with your little body extended in the bed. Dolores had her arms around your tummy. Trying to keep you near to her.
Luisa Madrigal
Tumblr media
You cried the first time that Luisa held you. It was probably because of her excited expression or her hard arms, maybe the little jumps that she made when she took you. You just cried and Bruno had to take you immediately. After that Luisa cried too.
She thought that you were scared of her. She didn’t wanna scare you. So she refuse to see you for a long time, even when Julieta or Agustin tried to show you that you just ware a normal baby who cry sometimes, or Isabela, who just took you with her and star follow her little sis around the house. Luisa just run away from you.
You don’t really remember any of that, but everyone does and sometimes tease Luisa with that.
When you were three it was the first time that you escaped from your home, all the adults were distant and distracted, only thinking about your father and why he left. For that, it was easy for you to walk outside of the house.
Anyone noticed until Dolores did her hourly check on you when she said that you were not in the house, everything was a disaster. Isabela screamed your name, and the adults scold each other.
But Luisa, who was the first one to run to the door, took a glance at your pretty green dress near the plaza. She went for you, and carry you back home. It was a little distance, but you were really tired.
“Wheres papa? “ You asked her, half-sleep. Luisa could give you an answer, and rub your back like her mama did one time that you cried for her uncle.
When you were back at home, everyone cheered up, remember that it was your special day. But or without Bruno, you should not feel displaced on your birthday.
You stay in Luisa’s embrace all evening, refusing to leave her. And Luisa was the happiest there.
Luisa was always working, so she could not entertain to like Dolores. And since her work involves getting dirty, and Abuela would never want you to get dirty, she could not share chores with you like Isa.
But you like Luisa, she was big and kinda intimidating, but her heart was soft and delicate. She always speaks sweetly to you, and you could see that she was extra careful when she touches you. It was like a big teddy bear.
Also, you like her room a lot. When you discovered that it was a beach you beg her to let you in. You wanted to see the waves of the sea and feel the sand again.
She tells you every time that she workout there, so you could enter with her, and while she does push-ups, she keeps an eye on you.
You started going to draw, but got bored easily, and then. There it was. The biggest collection of books that you have ever seen.
Oh yes, Luisa was the want who introduce you to romance novels…without noticing, of course.
When she saw that you have her book in your hands and was in the middle of the lecture, she felt horrified.
You were just a sweet little girl, you shouldn't be reading about romance and stuff. What would happen if you wanted to get married and leaf the family immediately. Or if a prince comes to you, and you accept his offer ad leave Encanto.
She took the book away from you.
The next day, she saw you reading it at dinner, and didn't have the heart to take it again when you look at her with a sad face.
So she told her mom.
Julieta tried to talk with you about how you could read these things in some years, but your pleading eyer shut her down.
She searched for Pepa, but the redhead couldn't do a thing, except pat your head and call you a prodigy for reading these books at a young age.
When they finally arrive with your Mama Alma, you had already finished the book. And you returned it to Luisa with a smile.
Since that, every time that she notices that a book was not in her place. She knew who was the little thief.
Sometimes she stays silent. Because she wants to talk about these books with you, but her chores don’t let her any free time.
You knew that thanks to Dolores. So you started to leave press flowers and letters in the books that you return, or even lend her some of the books that Dolores bought for you.
When Luisa finds those letters, she read your thoughts about the books and responds with another letter. Leaving it in any book that you have not read yet. Always smiling at the idea of having you as a pen pal.
You two are just hopelessly romantic.
....
Thanks for reading <33 Besitos a todos, mañana lo subo es español

Let's Make National MC Appreciation Day!
Today is the day that we celebrate every single MC, faceless or not, from every video game, TV show, or movie.
Warning: Contains spoilers for the following movies, games and TV shows- Obey Me, Twisted Wonderland, Demon Slayer, and My Hero Academia.
My honorary selection includes:
MC from Obey Me! One Master to Rule Them All! 🐏
Tumblr media
This poor, poor thing. I know this is an otome game, but honestly, with all the lore and characters we're given, I see this as more than just an otome game (plus it's MY list).
So, we've been sent down to Hell, or in this case, the layer right above Hell; called the Devildom, to stay as an exchange student, or as I like to call us, "the resident therapist." For our protection, we live with the Seven Avatars of Sin and discover all the hidden secrets this world has to offer.
For all the MC has gone through over the last 2 years they've lived down there, I'm convinced that they are immortal. Having to stay in an unknown place with strangers who initially act like jerks, a select handful of said jerks wanting to kill them, one of them successfully killing them, and having to restore the familial bonds of a broken family? God tier, I don't care what anyone says.
Yuu/MC/Yuuken from Disney's Twisted Wonderland ✨️
Tumblr media
It's like whenever Japan sees anything they think: "Yes that, but make it anime boys."
Again, a regular person in a strange land, Yuu finds themselves in the magical school known as Night Raven College, or NRC. (Also, do NOT be fooled by the COLLEGE part in the name, most of the characters aside from a few are 16).
Anyway, after many shenanigans involving our new friends, or as the fandom has dubbed them, the "Braincell Trio," we help the villain-inspired dorm leaders through their trauma by fighting them in a rhythm game.
I feel like "resident therapist" is an accurate title for most games like this, honestly. Overall, I'm willing to bet that Yuu is exhausted, stressed, and practically done with life at this point for having to pretty much babysit their friends, fight almost all the dorm leaders, clean and restore their entire dorm that has been abandoned for a 100 years, and being bribed/threatened to help around the school since Principal Broke Bird is too "gracious" to help.
What else is there to say? I respect you Yuu, and may Chernabog give you strength.
Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer 🔥
Tumblr media
Not only did he lose almost his entire family (and saw the aftermath of it btw) to monstrous demons, the one family member he has left has been turned into a demon herself.
Yet this dude remains one of the most dedicated, fearless, and happy-go-lucky protagonists I've ever seen. I wish you nothing but the best Tanjiro! Lord knows you deserve it.
Izuku Midoriya/Deku from My Hero Academia ⚡️
Tumblr media
Look I don't care what anyone says, this boy deserves everything!
In a world where 80% of people have quirks, Izuku was born without one. But that doesn't stop him from wanting to becoming the greatest hero someday. After gaining powers from the #1 hero All might, Deku joins his new-found friends at U.A. High School in training to becoming great heroes.
First of all, ow... Being born in a world where everyone is special, and you're not, just criminy... that is soul crushing.
On a similar wavelength with Tanjiro, as he's equally as optimistic and determined, Deku is observant, intelligent, bashful, and wears his heart on his sleeve.
Despite the fact that he's seen...horrible, horrible things and is potentially among the thousands of students who are being trained as child soldiers, Deku remains that hopeful, persevering kid we all know and love.
Someone pray for all these kids, they've seen far too much.
Mirabel from Encanto 🦋
Tumblr media
Yeah, yeah, I know, this movie has been talked to death, but you know what, I don't care!
Last but certainly not least, is Mirabel Madrigal!
The Madrigal's are a Colombian family living in a village called the Encanto. All of the Madrigal's were blessed with magical blessings known as "gifts," all except for Mirabel, who is ostracized by her own family for not being special.
Again, ouch. Not being special in a magical world is quite common for these protags, isn't it?
Despite that, she's silly, dependable, vibrant, and very proud of her family's accomplishments even if she's not as revered in the eyes of the villagers. When she discovers that the magic is in danger, she doesn't waste a second in trying to figure out what's going on and how she can help her family.
I love how crafty she is, the artist in me loves her designed dress and how each embroidery represents a member of her family.
Point is, I love her and just like the rest on this list, I respect and admire the fact that she kept going when almost everyone in her shoes would have given up by then.
And that's everyone on this list, currently. I have a lot of protagonists that honestly boggle my mind for how they haven't gone insane with how many crazy adventures and people that have to deal with on a regular basis.
So, do any of you guys have any MC's that you love or appreciate? Please let me know! I'm genuinely curious.
With that all being said, I hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you later! Byeee! 💗

Pepa Madrigal was known for many things. Her weather, her temper, her ability to hold a grudge and her intense burning love for her family.
What she wasn't known for was for her sharp wit and her violence. While she had a temper she normally stormed and yelled, she hadn't swung a fist since she her Dolores was five and got her gift and someone made her cry by calling it creepy like her.
So she didn't normally resort to violence.
But when she saw her ten year old Sobrina Mirabel being groped and talked about as if she were a piece of meat by a man the same age as her....
When she heard the man saying she might as well give away her body since she was Giftless and therefore useless for anything other than being a slut and having babies that might be gifted...
Well her fist shot out faster than lightning and slammed into his nose. Just before her lightning struck his hand that had been touching her sweet terrified ten year old niece.
"Fucking disgusting. Don't you ever come near anyone in the family again or I will kill you." Pepa wasn't shouting. No her voice was cold and soft like the kiss of death was soft. And it was much scarier than her yelling.
She quickly bundled her traumatized niece up and went to find her sister and mother to tell them what happened.
If she didn't let Mirabel out of her sight for the next five years....well no one who knew what happened blamed her.
AS SHE SHOULD! Wish I had someone like that when I needed it; but if I was her, I would’ve done the exact same, maybe even worse. My anger issues wouldn’t allow me to just walk away with one punch, I would have been BRAWLING, like full on fist fighting. Pull a tommy out and start blasting fools. Stan Pepa for being the best aunt ever.

Well it’s not a he, it’s a she.
PT 2 since it was requested and a lot of people read it! This may have a few more pts so stay reading! @hexedcoffin @god-like-eyebrows
Luisa x Fem! Reader
Reader’s pronouns : she/her
No warnings!
Just fluff :)
Tumblr media
“Well.. if you like her then go ask her on a date!” Mirabel grinned, yet Luisa looked at her in disbelief. Like she said the world was ending kind of thing.
“No way Mirabel! She is like a goddess have you seen her?! Her eyes literally shine so beautiful and that smile, just makes everything better!” Luisa said so excitedly. They all just stared at her, Mirabel had the biggest urge not to roll her eyes.
“Basically you proved her point, you like her so much to the point where you need to ask her on a date!” Camilo jumped his body up like he was on a trampoline. Technically it was a trampoline, it’s a hammock. Luisa sighed with guilt on why she told them, now she felt pressured to talk to you!
“But, a lot of people probably like her a lot! And there would be at least someone she really likes.” The softie said with a frown. Just so sure that she would never get a chance.
“I mean, a lot people like her. But did they get rejected? Yes, yes they did.” Dolores informed her. That didn’t help much however, it brought Luisa down even more.
“See?! I’ll get rejected. I just know it.” She said and she even looked like she was on the verge of tears. Isabela stood up and rested her arm on her sister’s shoulder,
“C’mon, what if we get you on a date with her? No one ever rejects the amazing Madrigals. And two, if she says no then maybe you’ll find someone new..” She said softly as she tucked her lil’ sister’s hair behind her ear. Luisa looked at Isabela as her words were right. She pressed her lips as she was extremely unsure. But she gave in after a lot of convincing,
“What if I make a fool of myself?! I don’t know about having dates and all that.” She continued, Isabela gave her a warm smile.
“Don’t worry, I’ve faked it once. And fooled Mariano into liking me. And now, we will help you to make Y/N fall for you!” She hugged Luisa tight and pinched her cheek. Luisa pushed her fingers in the way with a satisfied yet sort of not satisfied grin.
~
You just woke up and ate some arepas made by your mamí for breakfast. You were still wearing your night-gown and you read a novel that really got your interest for the past few days.
Just a few weeks ago, you and your family moved to the town. Your parents decided to move here since they all heard legends from Encanto. And they were all true. How amazed you were seeing someone being able to speak to animals, or the fact that someone could carry a whole bridge! By the past few days here, you have settled well and had a kind group of friends.
Though some others had a thing for you, you ignored it. You weren’t too interested in love and only thought of more with intellect. You loved reading and writing and aspired to be an author. You also ignored other people’s love to you because, some people who confessed were too cocky, too greedy, or just too much that you found it overwhelming being crowded by them. Reason why they were rejected.
You continue to read as there was a knock on the door, your mamí who was still cooking quickly wiped her hands on her apron to get the door. It got your attention since no one really visits your home despite your family being very new. You followed her and stood behind as she opened the door. You were both kindly greeted by Camilo, the Madrigal who shape-shifts. You wondered why he was there. He did his usual pose and steadily handed you a letter with you name on it.
“For you!” He exclaimed as he shape-shifted to the strongest Madrigal, Luisa. Giving a strong pose that made you laugh. He bid you two goodbye and you do the same for him. Your mother closed the door curious to see what the letter said. You observed it slowly. It was very fancy, a cool colour that made you smile, the text written on was gold and it was from Luisa. You wondered why you received it from her. And your mamí with not the most memorable head, spoke up.
“Who is Luisa again?” She asked so genuinely to you. You looked up to say it was the Madrigal you saw that carried the whole church. The figure dinged in your mum’s head as she smiled softly.
“Ohh her! The one who helped me and my papa unpack. What’s the letter about?” She looked more closer to it. You shrugged unknowingly and you opened it. It was about you getting invited to dinner with Luisa! You beamed with excitement,
“Mama, can I go?” You asked your mum. You were enthusiastic about it as you looked at her with your baby eyes. She nodded, giving you the permission to go. You cheered and thanked her so much. A dinner with a Madrigal excites you so much.
~
“So.. did she like it?” Luisa asked to Camilo while carrying some donkeys. He skipped next to her as he nodded with two thumbs-up. He shape-shifted into you to tease his prima about it. But she ignored it, walking forward. Rolling her eyes. Until she paused,
She caught you with her own eyes. The (H/C) headed girl who was talking with a group of young town kids. Entertaining them happily. It made Luisa blush to a hard pink. Camilo noticed and called you over to her with no shame. She glared at him, threatening that he will be hugged so tight the next time she sees him. You walk over to the two and saw Luisa. You wanted to thank her for the invite and that you were going. But you saw her so frozen staring at you. It confused you (and it was slightly scary) but you continued to try and approach her. But strangely she walked the opposite way turning herself at the other direction away from you. That puzzled you, was the invite really for you? Camilo quickly tried to catch up with her but her tall figure failed for him to catch up.
You frowned, did you make her upset in a way? Did you annoy her? And yet, you had no idea what her true feelings were.
I hope you enjoyed this part! There will be at least two more parts? (I think) Also I really wanna thank everyone who reblogged, commented and liked the first one! Hope this one will also exceed your expectations.

❛ no offense, but you look terrible. ❜ With Bruno and Pepa! If you want! No pressure!!!!!!!
You can also read it here on AO3
"No offense, but you look terrible."
Pepa Madrigal had, for the first time in quite a while, an unmistakably horrendous morning. Sure, she had never been an early and motivated riser like her older sister, but she usually did her best to spread some positivity in those dreadful, gloomy hours.
However, her usual mornings did start with passionate kisses from her beloved husband Félix, who was unavailable today. He had been gone since the previous evening with Agustín to gather some firewood. They had either gotten lost or gone camping, but Pepa trusted her husband enough to return to her unharmed (she couldn’t guarantee the same unblemished state for Agustín, though).
Grumpily, Pepa opened her heavy eyes and punched the empty side of the couple’s spacious bed in an impulsive fit of rage. The pillows coughed feathers as if they took their last breaths, and then the woman hurled herself over the edge of the mattress, pouring onto the ground like the boneless pit of flesh she would use to describe her mortal body.
She groaned like a hog, her cheek squashed on the hardwood floor and her breath making it moist.
“Casita?” she asked with exhaustion, although she hadn’t done anything yet, pawing at the wardrobe in the corner, “Can you gimme my dress…?”
The living house took pity on her like it had done for almost forty years and shoved the piece of furniture toward her, opening the cabinets and hurling pieces of fabric at her. A pair of panties landed on her face, a dry reminder of what to start with.
“…Gracias, Casita,” came her muffled voice, and Pepa wiped the cloth away from her eyes.
Somehow, she managed to stand up and stagger to the entrance once she had navigated her limbs into her day clothes, opening her magical glowing door with a glower directed at all who had the unlucky experience of meeting her.
Then she barely registered a tug on her dress and looked down like a zombie, only to squint at the radiance of pearly white milk teeth of one special Isabela Madrigal.
“Camilo ate dirt again!” the young girl chirped with feigned innocence, expecting Pepa to have a stern parenting talk with her son.
Little did she know that whatever she tried, her boy would never quite grow out of that nasty habit and still eat everything in sight ten years into the future.
“Ugh-huh,” Pepa gurgled and slinked out into the hallway, the girl dressed in hard pink skipping beside her, talking her ear off.
“Did you know that Abuela’s gonna take me to the market today?” Isa asked cheekily, twirling in her flowery dress, “And Mamá’s gonna come along, so you have to watch the little kids.”
Green eyes slowly slid to the side, widening in horror and ignoring that the young girl lorded the few weeks she had on her oldest cousin. Then again, taking care of her own kids was nothing, Pepa thought, trying to calm herself, and Mirabel and Luisa were pretty easy to manage (unlike Camilo).
“Why don’t we make a sunny rainbow first, Isa?” the older woman suggested and went over to the window, pushing open the shutters.
Revealed was the sky, of course, but unfortunately not as inviting-looking as Pepa had hoped. It was gray and cloudy, and the redhead would have to do her best to swear upon the sun to make an appearance.
Pepa tried to pull herself together and tugged at her hair, pressing her lips on top of each other and concentrating on her wish to offer her family a nice, happy day. (She felt anything but spunky, although she learned to control her emotions to some degree and fool herself into being content.)
Clear skies. Clear skies. Clear skies!
Isabela was awed by the scenery, watching as the clouds constricted and her aunt moved the largest heavenly body she knew. Influencing the sun actually wasn’t part of her Gift, but Pepa would like to let the girl dream a little longer and consider her aunt cooler than she really was.
But nothing ever went according to plan, and the dark clouds suddenly exploded into pouring rain that soon turned their front yard, and the Encanto at large, into a swamp.
“That’s not a rainbow,” Isa observed expertly, raising an eyebrow that was too sharp for someone her age and too reminiscent of Julieta if Pepa was being honest.
“Let’s go get some breakfast,” the older woman offered in defeat, too tired to attempt using her magic again. If anything, it worked much better when she wasn’t trying to control it, and it felt much more natural that way, too.
As they walked to the dining room (Pepa was sure they wouldn’t eat outside in this dreadful weather) Isa was surprisingly quiet until the little girl offered her a dainty flower she had grown on the railing.
“Maybe this will make a rainbow happen, Tía Pepa!” Isa offered, and like any other aunt in her position, Pepa could feel her heart melt when she took it from her, securing the plant under her headband.
As innocent and effortless it was, Pepa felt better already.
Better, but not as perfect as she should be. She was sure there was nothing that could be done to cheer her up without Félix around. There was an emptiness and senseless frustration inside of her she just couldn't put her finger on.
The kitchen was blossoming with life when the pair got there, and Pepa could spot her sister navigating platters through the unruly sea of children running about. With a quick snatch, the redhead grabbed her son by the scruff of his neck and told him once more that eating dirt could make him sick.
With a broad and far too cheeky grin (who did he get that from?), the young boy half the size of a pint educated her that Tía Julieta could always fix him, and Pepa let him go after that valid argument, not up to the task of dissecting his logic any further.
Pepa greeted the other kids (really, who cared that they weren’t all hers?) and promised them a rainbow for tomorrow. Then, exemplary as she was, she set the table, and even Casita was in a better, more helpful mood as it slid back the chairs when the family sat down around it.
Alma took her seat at the head of the table and animatedly advised Isabela on the optimal shopping route through town, while Julieta passed out heavily filled plates and Pepa tried to tie some napkins around the openings of Camilo and Mirabel’s shirts. One was much easier to manage than the other, the woman noticed once again and sighed.
Breakfast resumed, and Pepa finally got her coffee fix, leaning back when caffeine replaced her blood cells, and she finally felt alive and impulsive again. She droned out the childish chatter around her and closed her eyes. A power nap was in order, or just a moment when she could let her mind wander.
“S-sorry for being late,” a cutting but quiet voice muttered, and embarrassingly, Pepa needed a second to connect it to her brother. A brother she, or even most of the family, had lately forgotten even existed with how much he isolated himself up in his imposing tower.
But different from her, he always woke up alone. Day after day, night after sleepless night.
Perhaps, the hot coffee and energy boost had burned her tongue into a fork because Pepa couldn’t help but comment on her brother’s dreadful state when he scrambled on top of his chair.
“I’d say you’re on time for once, considering you usually don’t even show up,” she said hotly, setting her cup back on the placemat.
Julieta huffed at her when she handed Bruno a plate of his own and was still glaring at her when she sat back down. Pepa held her gaze evenly, not backing away.
“Err… yes,” her little brother mumbled and mechanically rubbed the heavy purple bag beneath his eye, looking glossily at his cutlery as if he had forgotten how to use it.
Blood shot into Pepa’s head, offended that Bruno hadn’t even listened to her, always ignoring her when she talked to him. But deep down she knew why he acted like this. She knew that nightmares and guilt plagued him every hour of his life, but that was the fuel, wasn’t it? It was entirely his fault that he didn’t confide his fears in anyone, not even in his older sisters, worst of all.
It infuriated Pepa to no end that he kept to himself and seemed so passive, so unaffected, about slipping away from the people who loved him so dearly.
It felt like they didn't even matter to him.
“No offense, but you look terrible,” Pepa continued recklessly, trying to get a rise out of her brother. Any reaction at all that wasn’t plain, numb acceptance would satisfy her. She wasn’t greedy, she was only desperate.
If he could only give her the bare minimum...
“Always deflecting from yourself, hm? Even though you're copying my wonderful eyebags,” Bruno grunted, finally looking at her face when he picked up his knife, and Pepa’s heart fluttered when his biting sarcasm rose to the surface.
“Children, please,” their mother chastised, folding her napkin and wondering if her triplets would ever grow out of their adolescent hair-pulling habits.
Pepa grinned like the cat that got the cream (because she had!) and rounded the table with a long step, cupping her brother’s cheeks in her palms before he could flinch away. And holding him like that, seeing him again, made her weak in a completely different way.
“Good morning, hermanito!” she laughed and put Isa’s flower into his hair, making him look just as radiant as the sparkling rainbow outside.

Head canon for Observer: She doesn't like to be picked up or get hugged by the other observers, and will go feral if they did. I just imagine Observer Isabela trying this and Observer just going feral cat mode and hissing, biting and even kicking her, just trying to escape Isabela's grasp in anyway possible.
LMAO YES, and she HATES Isabela the most.
—————
Like a feral cat
Observer Mirabel was staring at the floor infront of her, seemingly zoned out. She looked concentrated yet tired, like she was thinking of a plan while trying not to sleep.
The adults were looking at her in concern, she has been like that for 14 minutes and she hasn't budged a bit.
Observer!Isabela tip-toed behind her, trying to avoid making noise.
"Isa, what are you-?" Isabela shushed her papa, Observer!Agustin, who looked at her in surprise.
Observer!Dolores, wispered to them. "The only way to make her snap out of it is to do something unexpected." She points to Isabela, and then to Observer.
Who screams.
—————
Observer Mirabel was just trying to day dream, and it was working.
She was battling tons of undead people, presummably zombies.
She was slicing them with her sword, she sliced the last two zombies with an amazing pose.
She pointed the sword towards the figure sitting on the bloody throne. "Now tell me where is thy seer Bruno! I hath completed all of your challenges!"
The figure just cackles, "Fool! You have to face me first! You naive chi-"
"Give me a hug Mirabel~!" She jolts after hearing the first syllable, she heard someone say her name.
And hugged her from behind and lifted her up, her pupils shrank from fear but mostly surprise.
She screamed and waved her arms and legs around like she was a cartoon character saying something rapidly.
The person holding her just giggles like an idiot. Observer began to hiss and bite the person's arms just to get away, even kicking them.
—————
The family just watches in horror on how Mirabel acted. Observer!Pepa had a raincloud above her, noticing that her sobrina was trying to make Isabela let go of her.
Observer!Alma was stunned, what made Mirabel act like that?
Observer!Julieta was trying not to cry, sad and horrified that her hija was trying to avoid a hug, even biting the person just to get out of it.
Meanwhile, Isabela was just sad on how her hermanita acted, already used to it but sad because Mirabel was trying to get away.
—————
Observer Mirabel was still up in the air being hugged, she looks at the person's face and pushes them away.
"UNHAND ME WOMAN!" Observer's eyes glowed bright red, furious by the fact that her most hated Madrigal was hugging her like it was a game.
Someone walked towards her and Isabela, "Mira hey it's okay it's just Isabela- ow." Observer bit her hermana Observer!Luisa on the hand, not letting go even though she did not even make a dent on Luisa's hand.
"Hey uh, Isa? Can I try to hug Mirabel instead? She seems to react the mist to you." Luisa asked, Isabela shook her head no.
"I can't, if she keeps acting like, well, this to me, she might just avoid me in every room and not just the distance anymore."
"And by trying to let Mirabel bite you like an aggressive pomeranian?" Luisa points at Observer, who was biting Isabela's hand like it was gummy worms. (Why does she look like she had done this before?)
Isabela pulled her hand away from Observer Mirabel, who pushed her face away.
"LET ME GOOOO" Observer yelled, making everyone wince.
"My god Mirabel, you're like a feral cat!" Isabela commented, "What are you going to do next, try to rip my face off and run?"
Observer did not, she did however, punched Isabela in the face making her be dropped, and proceeded to run into a wall after sprinting like she was being chased by multiple Isabela's.
