Thinking about roachgaz apocalypse au...

I'm gonna put roach into my zombs au now just for this (which I really need to start working on)

Imagine, ok bear with me-

The group (soap, ghost, gaz, price) are looting some building in an abandoned city. As they're going through the different rooms they hear something clatter, and it definitely didn't come from any of them.

Ghost and Gaz go to check it out, and they find Nik and Roach.

Roach had an accident before the world fell, it left his vocal chords shot, it hurts to talk. He's learned BLS so he could still communicate, but... It's made grouping up difficult, since he can't communicate with everyone else super well. He'd been a loner for a while, constantly in the run, it's hard being completely on your own.

Then Nik found him. He knew some of the basics of BSL as he'd been learning a while back, just before the fall. He has Roach teach him more. He'd also been alone for quite some time. Just general bad luck of angry groups.

They'd decided it's easier to stay together as a pair, than continue going at it alone.

Anyway, when Ghoat amd Gaz find them they're peaceful, cautiously bring them bavk to price and soap.

Price has no qualms against them joining up, as long as they do their fair share of work obviously.

Gaz and roach grow closer, price and nik as well

How would everyone react in a zombie apocalypse?

My time as the 14dwy! Zombie AU Creator has finally come -

HENRY: Wouldn't last long - I genuinely think they'd turn pretty fast; whether it be a ground zero type of situation, or just being dumb in general. But, if they were to survive, would be a loner for the most part - most of his allies end up dead somehow...

LYRA: would probably kill herself Would be EXTREMELY weary of others, sm so she'd probably be on her own for the most part. I can also see her having 'pet' zombies (kinda like Michonne did in TWD) as a extra form of protection. She strikes me as a survivalist as well (think of Bill from TLOU).

ELIJAH: Wouldn't last long either, but not for the same reason as Henry - Eli is very kind, and I think that kindness could easily be taken advantage of in a setting like this. Would settle into a commune / group setting w/ friends + family (thinking of the Jackson Community in TLOU).

SANDY: Unsure, I think it could go either way for Sandy. Knows when + when not to help people, maintaining a healthy balance. Would struggle w/ putting down friends who get infected - fully believes there to be some humanity left. Would probably be in the same group as Eli.

Something from my zombie au that will probably never get written into the storyline is that Ghost and Roach actually did meet once before the whole... everything crash and burn.

It was just before Simon got betrayed by his former CO and taken PoW by Roba. He'd gotten some leave, so he was going to see his brother and sister-in-law, maybe pop into the butcher shop to see how the old man was doing (I have a very specific hc about the butcher shop that I've bever mentioned).

It had only been a couple years since roach's accident, it'd happened when he was nealy twelve, he was 14 when he and his parents ran into Simon. Gary was still struggling a bit with dealing with his new disability.

There happened to be an icecream cart at the park across from the butcher that Simon decided to stop at, and Gary's parents had taken him to get icecream as a treat. Having just so happened to arrive at the same time, Simon struck up friendly conversation. It came about that Gary couldn't talk, but he'd been making good progress in his signing classes. Simon, Having excelled in his seconday school (highschool) BSL sign classes figured why not, he wasn't fluent, but he was conversation and Gary seemed excited enough to talk sign-babble to him about whatever (it was birds).

They parted ways after a little, but after that Simon started to brush up on his BSL.

Berdly has tried to bully/intimidate his classmates before. However, he’d either get ignored, get bullied back or, Kris’s case, becomes friendly with them because he gave up. Nothing he did ever worked.

… And then the new student arrived.

The new student was a very sensitive girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. This made her an easy target. An easy target Berdly decided to hit.

Again and again and again and again. Waiting for her to snap.

One day… She finally did.
