I personally am, like bro I'm trynna read a Soundwave (Transformers)/Shockwave (Transformers) fic, not a MegaStar one with the brief mention of "Soundwave and Shockwave are conjunxes..." or stuff like that...

So, the other day, when I was discussing AO3's policy on solicitation, a tumblr user came at me saying that AO3's "no monetization/solicitation" rules were "bullshit" because nexus mods allows fan created mods to get paid.

Variety is the key to avoid sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.

I’ve seen one too many posts on my home page of people in the Transformers fandom longing for traditional gender roles in their bots and bashing “tomboyish” robots.

Let’s not bash either. Include feminine, masculine, non-conforming “she-bots”. These Cybertronians are not a sexually reproducing species in most media and realistically would not be heterosexual or conforming to gender roles. 

Show all body types. And yes, that means more than skinny curvy robots. I’m tired of people complaining about broader female characters such as RID2015 Strongarm like she did something wrong. She can be just as “womanly” as anyone else. Women absolutely can be muscular, fat, uncurvy, in real life. And the male-coded robots can just look so alien, but a female-coded bot can’t have that freedom? She has to be stainless steel sex appeal? All the girls have to be skinny, boobed, and someone’s lover??

Variety. Sometimes, not always. Primus, don’t restrict the alien robots of all things with gender roles. 

Swap the genders in my list for the same point. Yes, sometimes I put boobs and lips on my own male-coded characters!
