🌄 I did this a couple of years ago after watching a Bob Ross tutorial and thought, 'he makes it look so easy', why not give it a go!? So I did, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never been naturally good at art, and considering I din't have any of the correct tools, I'm still pretty happy with how this one turned out. I really struggle with meditating. But when I finally take the plunge and go for it, I always feel so much better afterwards. The easiest place to start with is to use a guided meditation which you can find on youtube and spotify. But, if you find that it's easier to take control yourself then this basic mediation guide should help. This copy of a tale of two cities by Charles Dickens was my great auntie's and has been in the family since the 1800s. I have to say I love the wear and tear in this book because it shows how long it's survived for. I am in love with this beautiful planner. My favourite thing to do when I wake up is open this baby and get planning. It comes with a multitude of stickers and has slots at the front and back if you want to add more. I absolutely love crystals for so many different reasons. But it can be really overwhelming trying to figure out what each one is and does. I have a tendency to change my surroundings very often, and my altar is no exception. There is something so gratifying and lovely about re-arranging your surroundings for things to feel fresher and renewed. I reckon that I do this around once a month, as I am very fickle and tend to get bored easily. I have a little storage basket of things I like to rotate my altar with. I hope everyone loves seeing pictures of dogs because Pippin is so lovely to photograph. This was taken the other day on a walk when he couldn't keep his eyes off the peanut butter and banana cookies, his absolute favourite treat. It's so nice to have found a treat that he loves and is safe for his tummy as he has gastric problems and can get easily irritated. At first it did take a long time to find treats that didn't contain animal derivatives but these Wagg ones are an absolute winner in my eyes.
