And that's not even mentioning the fact that regarding the Hot Honey concert, Amy didn't have to drag him there. She didn't have to beg or convince him. No.

He bought her the tickets. And not just bought the tickets. He bought the tickets ON HER BIRTHDAY.

This means Shadow cares enough about Amy to the point where he legit REMEMBERS her BIRTHDAY and paid attention to stuff that she LIKES.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think I'm officially a Shadamy shipper (specifically in terms of the Sonic Twitter Takeovers).

I do generally tend to ship Sonamy but even then, that's highly dependent on the universe they're in. For example, I ship Sonamy in Frontiers, Prime, and Boom. But when it comes to the Twitter Takeovers, sorry, I'm switching to Shadow there.

Don't get me wrong, the jealousy Sonic shows is comedic and obviously played for laughs, but here's my question: How is it that Shadow---the one who's introverted and antisocial as heck, the one who has mounds of trauma from watching someone die in from of him, has major survivior's guilt from said incident, and the one who arguably doesn't like loud public events---is the one who showed no hesitance in going to TWO concerts with Amy? Not just one---TWO.

This utter edgelord went to a Hot Honey concert and also made plans to accompany her to a Sabrina Carpenter concert (Sabrina FREAKING Carpenter)---whereas Sonic can't even form a sentence or make up his mind around spending personal time with Amy. Don't get me wrong, I love my dude, but he's fumbling the bag.

Amy once boldly claimed what she liked about Sonic when asked by a fan, but when it's his turn, he tries to dodge the question.

I don't even blame Amy for the switch up because what---

How is it that Shadow of all people was more willing to spend time with Amy at a concert (TWICE) and yet Sonic can't even get the cojones to spend time with her ALONE? There's no excuse, lol

Heck, even Shadow admitted on a Twitter Takeover that he generally only tends to tolerate shopping when Amy is around---meaning that unless she's there, he doesn't like to shop for stuff. You can't make this up, dawg.

I obviously know that the whole dynamic between these characters is mainly for comedic purposes or random bits and that the voice actors are obviously bound by some things, but even so, the implications of the lore is crazy. I better not hear Sonic complain if Amy and Shadow end up together because Shadow's the only one spending true quality time with her.

I can't say I *necessarily* agree with the whole "I can fix him" thing but I do very much agree that Margo and Antonio should've stayed together. I wrote a whole post on that, too (lol)

The problem with Ariel's pink dress wasn't the fact it was pink, it was just the wrong shade

Here's the proof

May is almost coming to a close, so for MerMay, I wanted to talk about one of the most iconic ones of all time---specifically one of her dresses.

The pink dress Ariel wears in the animated film gets a lot of flack. I personally believe it's an objectively pretty dress. The form I think is fine. Heck, I don't think the problem (as the title already stated) was the fact it was pink. It was simply the wrong type of pink.

The original color is a dusty pink shade, which does pop out, but doesn't compliment her hair too well. It's not horrible, but it's not the most the well paired. Now, it could've been an intentional design to show off that she---as a mermaid---is obviously out of place in the human world, but I wanted to further dive into (my theories for) the reasons as to why this is a rather unpopular dress.

Coral pink (ironic, because she's a mermaid and obviously live in the ocean) tends to blend better with other warmer tones like red. I provided the photo as an example to hopefully better explain what I mean.

Who knows? Maybe I'm off my rocker. But I don't hate the pink dress. I personally just think that from a complimentary standpoint, it was the wrong shade of pink. Once again, very well could've been a subliminal way of showcasing she's a fish out of water (pun intended), and I deeply appreciate it if that is truly the cause for the dress being the color it was. But if it wasn't, then I do firmly believe coral pink would've been the better choice if the dress HAD to be pink.

Unpopular Opinion, but I honestly believe in terms of the Despicable Me movie series, they really should've kept Antonio and Margo together.

They shouldn't have made him cheat on her or something. What would've been more interesting is if they actually had a decent relationship and we were able to see them still together and growing up as people as they both get older. Because let's honest:

You're telling me you wouldn't wanna see Margo---a girl who's dad is a villain (at least formerly) dating a guy who's dad is also a villain? And on top of that, their dads don't like each other? That's so much conflict material we were missing! And there could've been chances for Gru and Antonio to realize they're not so different (they literally wear similar outfits, lol)

Margo could've had a Brainiac of a boyfriend but noooooo---they had to scrap the opportunity. Boo.

You're telling me that Margo having a hispanic boyfriend who has a terrifying IQ and a penchant for making horrifying game inspired inventions would NOT have been a good idea?

I could very much see it being a thing where Antonio's father--Eduardo (AKA El Macho)--doesn't think that Antonio is manly enough because Antonio likes gaming and etc instead of the traditionally masculine things Eduardo is into---but Margo supports Antonio's ambitions.

In the second Despicable Me movie, Antonio said he wanted to play video games for a living. I think a very cool turnaround for that is for him to create a virtual reality-like headset that's attached to some sort of blaster ray that helps him automatically target an opponent or something.

And because he is Hispanic, I could see Margo slowly becoming better and better at Spanish for until she becomes fluent, and they have conversations in front of everyone else where no one but them understands what they're talking about. And the better she got, the more excited he gets because she's learning his language.

There was SO much they could've done with him AND THEY DIDN'T TAKE IT--UGHHHHH!

As much as I don't exactly feel too keen on April being shipped with the turtles, I'm not mad for how they portrayed Leo's crush on her in Mutant Mayhem. So I came across this a while back and wanted to give my thoughts on it

The question was: For a million dollars, who would you openly disrespect?

Nicole Watterson is out IMMEDIATELY. This woman locked herself in a warehouse with a dinosaur and WON. Nicole has made people age 10 times faster just by staring at them. Everyone on that show is scared of Nicole and if they aren't, they learn to be. 

Regarding Buttercup, there's no way I'm talking smack to a five year old who beats up 30ft tall monsters who look like Godzilla's relatives on the daily. Buttercup once went on a whole spree trying to punch as many bad guys as possible because she wanted more money from the tooth fairy---I'm good bro.

Raphael is also not an option. He constantly hurts Mikey for less, why would I want to deal with him? He gets ticked off from insults that aren't even that clever. All you have to do is call his sais salad tongs and that's enough for him to want to murk you---no thanks.

Jason Todd is definitely out. Jason Todd is a cold blooded killer who's armed with pistols and doesn't have time to put up with BS. If I insult this man, I'm gonna be best friends with lead when he fills my head with it. Sure, he might NOT do it because I'm a civillian, but that possibility is still very much THERE and I'd rather not talk smack to a man who has guns.

Benson seems like the easiest option but Benson already has so much crap to deal with thanks to Mordecai and Rigby just being outright horrible to him most of the time, and my conscience just would not allow me to add onto his problems. Even if I were to pick him, I would've given him 90% of the million anyway out of guilt.

I'm picking Bakugou no question.

When it comes to Bakugou, it's not even about the money for me, it's plain principle and I got too much crap I wanna say to this guy's face. I don't care about his so-called redemption arc because Horikoshi quickly killed him off after Bakugou apologized to Izuku, so I couldn't even see proof of him changing otherwise. He gets away with too much and I'm sick of it. I will disrespect him for free.

Even if the money were to be a considered aspect, disrespect is subjective from person to person. There's objective disrespect and there's perceived disrespect. And Bakugou thinks that anyone giving him any sort of criticism in any capacity is disrespectful towards him. Literally all I'd have to do is call out his obvious flaws (ie his narcissism, his aggression, his outright murderous behavior, the fact he's a bully, etc) and that's enough to get him flaming. It's an easy million dollars.

"But he would probably kill you---"

Listen, someone is gonna have to give him back his crap at some point or another and if no one else will, it may as well be me. And if he does kill me, then great—its another guarantee of his consequences catching up to him and giving him a whooping when he finally gets them.

Idea for a Trope Inversion:

A traditional vampire who lives in a mansion in the dark forest or some crap like that, but they're actually a decent person and all of their blood servants actually enjoy working for the vampire.

The vampire sets up appointments with their blood servants and gives them anesthesia to remove the pain of drinking from them, and takes no more than the blood they need to drink. Plus they pay the blood servants very well and make sure they're healthy and cared for within the mansion---even going as far as to protect them should anyone disrespect them in any way, shape, or form.

Edit: I forgot that vampires may/or may not be susceptible to anesthesia but I think you get my main point 😂

We all know enemies to lovers. But what about lovers to enemies? And no, I'm not talking about just any old couple that has a bad break up or classic betrayal---nada. I mean a couple that has been through thick and thin, but eventually get to a point where both of their views on the world/situations around them are found to be so vastly different that they legit fight each other and begin to actively despise one another.
