Mizu

“What’s wrong?... Don’t tell me you got sick? Fine, let’s see what I can give you…”

When you got sick, Mizu wasn’t very quick to realize it. It wasn’t until after a fight did she realize you were sloppy in execution and your movement. That’s when she realized you weren’t feeling so well. Though her cooking skills are not the best, she will do her best to brew up some hot soup for you and even go to villages to find proper medicine for you.

At first she’ll keep her distance so she doesn’t catch your cold, but after many nights of seeing you struggle against your infection she just can’t help but hold your hand tenderly and kiss it while rubbing circles with her thumb. The worse your sickness gets, the more she’ll pamper you and the more worry seethes into her. She may keep a level head, but she’s genuinely concerned for you. As soon as you feel better, expect her to keep an eagle’s eye on you. She’ll be damned if she loses you to a common cold. She’ll be damned if she loses you to anything.

Taigen

“Drink it. Stop being stubborn- As cute as that is, I need you to drink this medicine. Hurry up.”

Taigen is quicker to notice when you catch a cold. He can just tell you’re not yourself physically and emotionally. So expect this man to stop everything to make sure you’re alright. Mizu will find it annoying, yes, but Taigen will not let her annoyance stop him from trying to make you feel better. He’s not the best at making medicine, soups or even tea, but he tries his best and even asks Ringo for assistance.

Being the kind of person he is, expect Taigen to tease you while you’re sick. Not ruthlessly. With love. He will go to the ends of the Earth just so you can get rid of your cold and risk everything as long as you’re okay. When you do get better, Taigen will still have you take medicine and drink soups. Yeah you may be fine now, but for all he knows the next common cold is around the corner! If you gently assure him you’re okay, he’ll be a good boy and lay off.

Ringo

“As soon as you’re done with your soup, why don’t you lay down? Rest is the best medicine next to. Well. Actual medicine.”

Ringo is quick to know when you are sick. If you cough, he’ll ask if you’re okay. But when you start coughing and sneezing up a storm, he will stop traveling and make shelter for a while. He’s very calm when you are under the weather, worried yes, but also calm and collected. He will give you soup, warm up a bath for you as best as he can and make sure you sleep somewhere just as warm. While you’re sick, he will tell you stories in hopes of seeing you smile and even hear you laugh. Just seeing you happy makes him happy.

When you have recovered from your sickness, Ringo will hesitate to stop giving you assistance, but is more lenient to give you space. He will still stay by your side and check up on you, but he won’t be helping you twenty four seven out of worry. Just expect a shower of kisses and many bear-like hugs.

Ito Akemi

“You’re sick? Oh, my darling. Don’t worry, I’ll have service fetch you the best remedies, okay?”

Akemi automatically knows when you are sick. You can cough once or let out a baby sneeze and she’ll proclaim that you’re sick. She will have all of her servants go around Japan to find the best medicine to knock the cold out of you. All while staying right by your side to check your temperature and ask endlessly if you are alright. Akemi is extremely worried when you catch a cold and can’t focus on anything else except you in these circumstances.

Her people will be upset that she’s spending every waking hour taking care of you, but she doesn’t care. You come before everyone else. When you finally get better, she will shower you in love and playfully scold you to not get sick again. But everyone shouldn’t expect to get their princess back immediately because she’ll be too busy giving all of her energy to you for a few days.

When he first met you, Astarion knew you were an easy target. A nice meal he could exploit, especially if you’re a virgin, and a great pawn for the road ahead. He would deliver sweet nothings to you in hopes of sleeping in your bed and drinking from the pure blood that coursed through your veins. But as time continued, as you showed how sweet you were, the pale elf found himself genuinely falling for you.

He wanted to protect you from the world around both of you and bite anyone who tried to hurt you. He’d even hesitate on feeding from you out of fear he’d hurt you or expose himself to your pained gasps. You were his precious jewel he couldn’t afford to be taken from him or tainted in any way. With everyone else, he’s still a flirtatious and snarky vampire spawn. But around you, he will always be a sweet man who wants to make sure you’re okay. His princess… That being said, don’t expect him to stop flirting with you. He adores when you get flustered.

Shadowheart

“Stand behind me! I don’t want you to get hurt! Just do as I say, okay?!”

At first Shadowheart thought you weren’t real. That there was no way in the nine hells that there was someone as pure as you. She genuinely thought your personality was a charade. So she watched you carefully, waiting for you to show your true colors in the form of berating someone or betraying one of the campers. But you never did. You always stayed true to yourself.

When she realized that you were probably the most modest person in your motley crew, the Shar Worshipper became attracted to you. She spent more time with you and suddenly felt like she needed to take care of you along your adventure together. Similar to Astarion, Shadowheart tries to be ever so gentle with you, never using pain in bed and out of bed unless you approve of her actions when she asks for permission. It’s evident to everyone she cares deeply for you and wouldn’t mind spending her life with you.

Gale Dekarios

“It’s been such a long time since I’ve seen the embodiment of happiness. Who knew I would find that in you?”

You had Gale’s heart as soon as you said hi to him. It didn’t take long for this man to turn into putty around you nor to become friends with you. And he fell in love when you always gave him magical objects without hesitation. Asking him if he’s alright and stroking his head after he eats his weave? He was swooned. The closer you two became, the more the wizard would share his life with you like an open book and offer any kind of lesson in magic to you.

It didn’t take long for him to admit he had romantic feelings for you, leading to you to become a couple. At camp, he is a gentleman, always asking if you need anything in between kisses to your cheek and becoming bashful with you when you bless his ears with your giggles. Outside of camp, he’s focused on you, making sure no one lays a finger or spell on that cute head of yours. You bring the best out of Gale and make him the happiest man in all of the realms.

Lae’zel

“G’lyck. If you’re hurt, then go to the ghustil… Hurry up or I’ll drag you to her myself.”

You were a liability to Lae’zel. Always getting hurt? Never killing your enemies? Checking up on everyone over yourself? She wanted nothing more than to throw you to the wolves so you wouldn’t ruin the group’s odds of survival. She hated you with a flaming passion. She hated how you always asked if she was okay. How you always treated her wounds after a battle and dare to kiss her injuries better. How you cowered behind her during combat.. And especially how you made her heart flutter when you slept across from her by the campfire, watching your cute face in a state of peace…

If it was up to her, she’d kick you out of the camp for what you’ve done to her. She swears it. But for now? She guesses she’ll keep you around for a little longer. Besides, she knows without her you’d die out there. You need her and she needs you.

Wyll Ravengard

Wyll always wanted to have a romance like fairy tales. Save a fair princess or prince from their troubles like a knight in shining armor while slaying dragons. To meet someone who was the sweetest thing alive and experience real happiness with them by his side. So when he met you, you can bet he felt like he won the jackpot! He found your bashful nature and careless personality to be a breath of fresh air, especially when he was punished by Mizora.

At first you were a great friend, but when you took care of him, polished his horns and always checked if he was alright after fights, true love sprung between you two. It didn’t take long for him to confess his feelings to you and take your hand as your boyfriend. From that day forward, he’s been your savior on and off the battlefield when he wasn’t your sweet lover that showered you in compliments and kisses. You are positive that with Wyll you are bound to have a happily ever after.

Karlach

It was love at first sight between you and Karlach. After you splashed her with water and made sure she was okay, the barbarian’s heart was in your hands. She was so used to meeting backstabbers, manipulators and liars that she wasn’t sure there were any good people left. But you proved her wrong and she was so happy you did. Because of you, she made it her sole mission to get infernal iron so she could touch you.

When she couldn’t, she would share indirect kisses with you using rocks and even gift you her teddy bear Clive when you couldn’t hold her. And when she finally was able to touch you, she held you as if her life depended on it. There isn’t a moment where you two are not touching in and out of camp. You make her feel alive again in more ways than one and to her you are her soulmate. She loves you so much and will do anything to make sure you know that.

Halsin

“If you were a part of nature’s divine design, then you are a pure ray of sunshine given by the Oak Father.”

Halsin immediately gave you his trust and respect when you saved him without a reason to. It didn’t help that he also found you to be adorable with how nervous you got around him and how you stuttered a bit. With how you were, the druid quickly grew an interest in you, wanting to be beside you and feel your skin against his. He loved how you were so considerate when he wild shaped, petting his head and playing with him effortlessly.

In the wilderness, you were something like his mate, always protected by foes and checked for injuries. If there were any, he would bandage them as quickly as he could and carry you the rest of the way back to camp. When everything was settled, he’d immediately cuddle you as himself or as a bear. You were perfect in every way to him and for that, he would be your sole protector no matter what.

Taigen couldn’t tell if he should thank you for thawing Mizu’s heart or curse you for being so unnecessarily sweet around him.

Ringo on the other hand thought you guys were the cutest couple he’s ever come across.

Regardless, every sweet action you gave this blue eyed samurai made her become more humane and in tune with her emotions.

Now when you feed her occasionally, she feeds you back.

If you’re checking for injuries and tending to her, Mizu will do the same with ten times more love and care.

If you hug her now, she will hold you and immediately miss your touch when you let go.

Maybe she was happy a long time ago, but nowadays Mizu felt blessed.

Mizu

“The stars are out tonight?... I can barely see them… It’s okay. At least I can see you… You’re beautiful…”

At first, Mizu found you to be as annoying like Ringo. You weren’t as annoying, but it was infuriating to travel with someone who was so fragile and couldn’t even defend themselves. She was surprised that with your demeanor you weren’t in a brothel or married to the next idiot of a samurai. She kept you at a distance, arm's length. But someway. Somehow. You slithered into her good graces and touched her heart.

When you two became a couple, Mizu began to treat you like a porcelain doll. If a man tried to touch you, their hand would be severed from their body in seconds. If someone bad-mouthed you, their tongue was cut out. Suddenly, you found yourself becoming a precious jewel to Mizu instead of a nuisance. During down time, she always checks up on you to see if you’re okay. Expect her to check if you have a temperature, if you’re hungry or thirsty. She wished deep down she could give up her mission to live a perfect life with you because that’s what you deserve. But promising such a thing is hard. At least for now, she has you and she will savor the time you both have together.

Taigen

“That was pretty cool, huh? You know I can teach you a thing or two if you say please… Haha! You’re cute when you pout!”

Unlike Mizu, Taigen found you to be a breath of fresh air on his journey to assist Mizu. He enjoyed how you were so pure in a world that was getting colder by the day. For a second, he was fearful of pursuing anything with you because of his relation to Akemi. But as the days went by and word started spreading fast of his lover’s affairs, the more Taigen lost hope in any future he could have with her. However, he gained hope in a future painted for you two.

Taigen is a mix of a man child and an amazing boyfriend when you two become a couple. He will tease you whenever you are being cute unintentionally or when you mess up doing something. It’s only because he loves your reactions to his commentary. He will also teach you how to protect yourself, preferably with a dagger. If you master using one, he’ll have you use a sword, but even then he’ll be a bit concerned it’s too much for you. On the battlefield, if he’s not showing off and winking at you after every kill, he’s quick to protect you from any harm. Let’s admit it. Taigen can be a pain in the ass. But he’s a great boyfriend.

Ringo

“You really think I can be a great samurai?! Then I’m going to train hard for both of us- I’ll be the greatest samurai for me and you!”

Ringo is a sweetheart. He didn’t expect to go on this journey to end up with a girlfriend, so when he scored one with you, you can imagine his surprise. He didn’t think much at first admittedly, but the more you kissed his cheek, nuzzled into his body on cold nights and threw him words of endearment, the more it settled. And boy did he adore having the title of being your amazing boyfriend!

With someone now to take care of, Ringo pushes himself to be an amazing samurai. He’s more persistent with his master to teach him how to use a sword and possess honor. He’ll even go as far as to ask Taigen to assist him if he can! Whenever he learns something new, he’s excitedly telling you all about it. If he finds anything interesting, he’s grabbing you gently to share it with you. If you’re looking for a ball of sunshine who’s both your friend and partner, look no further than Ringo.

Ito Akemi

“My darling. We will make our own path, away from this prejudice, these men- Everything that’s ever hurt us. That’s ever hurt you… You will never be hurt again. I swear it.”

Akemi knows all too well how it feels to be used and thrown away for your body if not your status. So when she met you at the brothel, she immediately clicked with you. She found your personality to be contagious along with your laughter. She spent every moment staring into your eyes filled with life, gently caressing your smooth skin just to make sure you were still there with her in this hell. You were the most beautiful flower she’s ever seen. You were a flower she couldn’t afford to be tainted.

She didn’t know why she fell for a woman or if it was a curse, but she loved you. She loved you enough to run away and spend as much life as she could with you until she was found by her father. But even then, nothing could hold her down. She was a princess who laid eyes on a commoner she wanted. That she needed. And no one would get in her way of having them. Of having you. She would destroy everything and bathe Japan in flames if it meant she could keep you in her warm embrace. She’d turn everyone into her enemy if you could be her lover. She’d be the villain if you were her savior… And that’s exactly what she was going to do.

A/N: I can't recommend this enough; PLEASE go check out Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix. It definitely is a great series when it comes to character development and story telling. If you're as big of a fan of Arcane as me, give it a watch.

When it comes to Mizu, you have to crack her outer shell to see her true nature.

She’s like a wild animal; Impossible to tame, but when done the results are breathtaking and beautiful.

At first, Mizu thought nothing of you.

You were just another citizen strolling about Japan. An obstacle.

So it comes as no surprise that she ignored you in favor of continuing her journey of revenge.

But you were as persistent as she was.

And the more battles you two encountered, the more injuries were carried.

The more injuries carried, the more you had to care for one another.

And the more care that was poured into each wound, the more both of you filled up with affection for one another.

When you knocked down Mizu’s walls, you pushed past the oni and found a beautiful and strong woman.

Mizu’s demeanor softens considerably around you, favoring playful banter over sarcastic insults.

She offers to teach you how to fight like a samurai. Or at least like herself.

Sometimes she’ll go overboard training.

But she’ll always tend to any wounds she gives you.

Expect a bandaging up with the briefest of kisses onto your lips afterwards.

Inside and outside of combat, Mizu is overprotective of your wellbeing.

She’s lost everyone on her journey and she’d be damned if she lost you too.

Sometimes she will have the thoughts of her “oni ways” trying to persuade her that you’re like everyone else.

When this happens, reassure her you’re not going anywhere.

She will reassure you of the same.

Love has given Mizu a second chance. Life’s given Mizu a second chance.

Though she doesn’t feel she deserves it, she will not throw it away.

She will not throw you away.

She used to fight for revenge over honor, but now she fights for you.
