To celebrate a little, I decided to do a redraw of my first ever marauders fanart, which just so happened to also be my first real partaking in pride ! Having previously been pretty quiet about my identity, I’m really proud to now have enough confidence to share this with you. I hope you all get to enjoy this month as well, no matter how small the celebration 🤗 ( and for those out there that unfortunately don’t get that chance, just know that you’re loved and appreciated regardless ❤️ ).

As for the drawing in itself, I’m actually a lot happier with the result than I would’ve expected ( even though some parts were absolutely torturous to finish 🥲 ). I must’ve changed some probably insignificant details a hundred times, but honestly I think it was worth it 😭 Oh and just for the sake of comparaison, you can find the original drawing as well, it’s the first image ( + a questionable bonus that was added with the post at the time 😂 ).

Anyways, enough of my talking 😓 ( I really do talk too much omg 😭😭 )

What are your thoughts on Dolores Umbridge x Pandora Lovegood (Dolodora?? Lovebridge?), Hestia Jones x Alecto Carrow (Alestia? Hearthfury?), Petunia Evans x James Potter (Jatunia, I think??) or like, Alastor Moody x Barty Crouch Jr. (Moodkiller, bit dark since Barty kidnaps and impersonates Alastor, but I think it's underrated). I also don't know if some of these have shipnames or not. I don't think Dolores x Pandora or Hestia x Alecto are common enough to have any. If you have shipname ideas please suggest! (Although I guess I'd prefer they don't be too confusing, since I actually still don't know why Kittywater or Saintcurse are called what they are.)

Hi, and sorry for the late response 😅

I have to admit I don’t have much of an opinion about Dolores x Pandora or Hestia x Alecto. I don’t believe Dolores would have a good relationship with Pandora at all, in fact she would be more likely to bully Pandora I think. Dolores, to me, is someone that craves control and perfection, which is the exact opposite of what Pandora wants or is as a person. But I’m always open to other interpretations.

As for Alecto and Hestia, I just don’t know the characters all that well as they’re not that well known in the marauders fandom. But again, I’d be glad to learn more about them.

Petunia and James is a whole other topic to me though 😂 I think they’d definitely be an interesting pairing if written well, though I don’t know in which circumstances they would ever get romantically involved. But I guess, it interests me in the sense that it would kind of shake Petunia’s views on the wizarding world, or set them even more in stone, depending on how the relationship is handled. Overall, I’d definitely like to see what it would look like in a good fic.

Alastor and Barty on the other hand, I feel like wouldn’t work. First of all, I’m pretty sure there’s a large age gap between them ( even more if you take into account Barty’s lore accurate age ) which is kinda 😬. Secondly, I just don’t see them ever interacting in a romantic or friendly way at all. They’re polar opposites in the same way as Pandora and Dolores, except maybe worse, because they’re both set in their own extremes. And don’t get me wrong, I love a good enemies-to-lovers trope, but they just don’t give me that vibe at all. I’m really just seeing two men that would give anything to kill each other because they just see one another as vermine.

And for the name suggestions, I don’t really have any ideas that come to mind rn, sorry 😭. Oh and btw, Kittywater is a mix between Dolores’ interest in cats ( with the cat plates in her office and all ) for the kitty water part and Regulus’ drowning for the water part.

Overall, I’m kinda sorry I couldn’t talk too much about these ships, but it’s really not my thing as I’m not in the more obscure parts of the fandom 😭 I just really like Regulus and would take any opportunity to draw him ( even if it’s kittywater content 😂 )

So this is Regulus being emo of course, but I promise there's more to it.

Since I already have a fic in the making, this isn't going to be written anytime soon but I am going to make it at some point.

The whole concept is Regulus, Sirius and the Black family being cursed to become vampires (if they were to die unnaturally during their human lives ) as a punishment for using dark magic (this is a separate universe from HP).

Except the Blacks actually took advantage of that and purposefully kill every person from their bloodline around the age of 25 to be hyper powerful and immortal. Sirius, in all of his rebellious glory, gets up to some shenanigans in order to remain human and reverse the curse for both he and Regulus (with the help of Remus, whom he falls for ). That kinda fails, and there are a lot of collateral damage (Remus + James included due to witchcraft stuff and a betrayal (it's Peter again sorry )). So both Sirius and Regulus are vampires, but don't know if the other is alive.

The centuries pass and we get to the modern era. James is reincarnated (for some mysterious magic related reasons, which causes him to have a magical symbol on his back ( same one as the symbol on the skull)).

He's kind of an art prodigy in this ? Ever since he was small, he saw visions of a beautiful man whose eyes he could never seem to see properly. So, he becomes obsessed with finding a way to paint a portrait of this mysterious man and his gorgeous blue eyes.

When he gets to uni, he meets Regulus, who looks the exact same as the man from his visions.

Obviously interested, he starts trying to get to know him. That's how the story starts (it's going to be James investigating about Regulus and his relation to him, as well as what happened to the others, who may or may not be alive ).

Goddamn this is a pretty long premise, sorry.

Anyways, hope you're interested because it's def coming one day.

im actually quite obsessed with your drawing of umbridge/sirius lmao the pink one. Not my ship but something about the way you draw the characters with umbridge is just hitting all the right notes in my brain. kittywater? bleh... but when you draw it??? im hooked.

Omg so sorry to only reply now, I don’t go on tumblr that often 😭 Tysm for this comment, it’s so sweet 🥹 Honestly, I’m not really a fan of the ship in itself, but it has been a pretty funny thing to experiment with !

Umbridge is actually one of the first plus-size characters I’ve drawn and since I’ve been trying to work on my anatomy skills, it’s helped a lot ( that really helped in making my character designs more diverse and inclusive ). And well, drawing kittywater has also allowed me to draw Regulus a lot, which I can’t complain about because he’s my favourite 😂

As for the sirius/umbridge fanart, I’m really glad you liked it ! I wasn’t very confident about posting it since it was a very quick and silly sketch, but it’s nice to know it holds up 🙌
