Summary: Domestic! headcanons with Jervis tetch (aka.Mad hatter)

Author’s note!: I feel like I mis-characterized him a bit here so I deeply apologize!. I love him a lot, probably one of my favorite DC villains aside from riddler and scarecrow. I can’t wait to get request for him!

Warnings!: Possible mis-characterization. English is not my first language, I apologize for any grammatical or spelling errors.

-Your home is adorned with his whimsical style, of course, Alice in wonder land decor littered about. Antique glass figures of Alice or certain scenes of her adventures decorate countertops. Tea sets kept in those intricately designed cupboards with glass panels. He’d adore your own touch to the place as well, maybe a hobby of yours hinted in the house. Like a sewing machine and fabrics on the coffee table. Or a well worn guitar, maybe art supplies littered about. He doesn’t quite care, he just likes knowing you’ve been there, that You live along side him happily. It makes a good reminder to him of your love towards him. The warmness in his heart is undeniable.

-He’d prefer your home smell of baked goods, or newly brewed tea vs. any air freshener you’d offer. He’d like the “authentic” smell better than anything those bottles had to offer. Any other smell he��d happily accept that is from a bottle is your perfume/cologne.

-Some couples prefer separate bedrooms, but he is not one of them. He’d like to share drawers and closets, the bed sheets of your shared bed smelling like you brings him more comfort than he can even try to explain. The thought alone of sleeping in separate beds after you two decided to move in together makes his skin crawl in despair. Why would you even want such a thing?, is it something he did that made you wary to share a bed?. Those are common questions to occur if you propose such a thing. Apologies if you want your personal space, he shares whatever he has with you graciously and he’s very admit you do the same. It lets him know that yes, you do infact like having him around.

- Open windows letting the early sun light seep through the living room, as he hands you tea which you sleepily accept. He’d nurse his own as he asks about your sleep. Maybe some quotes from his favorite story (take a wild guess what that is) to make you giggle and wake you up a bit.

-remember his favorite tea and make it for him when the wretched bat ruins his plans, his heart is your to have. As if it wasn’t already.

-cooking a meal together as he rhythms and you hum a small tune. For once in his life cooking a meal isn’t a task but a time to enjoy with his lovely.

-Old fashioned, flowers every Friday.

-If you take a cat nap on the couch, tired from the day. He’d sit next to you reading, stealing some glances at your relaxed figure next to him, admiring you. You have to remember in his life before the whole mad hatter thing, the small group of people he interacted with either berated him, or never saw him for what he desperately wanted to be perceived. So to have you laying next to him willingly, no mind control needed for you to love him is a bit daunting. Maybe the cape crusader had a point, a lifeless doll compared nothing to what he is witnessing now. True pure love, but he’d rather die than admit that.

- “Honey I’m home”; But honey doesn’t feel like a pet name he’d use. Maybe my darling, My alice, My beloved. Emphasis on “My” small reminder that your his is enough to make his day.

-Weirdly enough when he comes home late, he likes when you’re already cozy in bed, but half asleep as you tried staying up for him. I think that’s a K.O for him.

-him holding you or vice versa closely as you both drift off to sleep. He swears he sleeps better with you so close to him.

He’s so cute, I have to eat him and now. I’m starving from lack of Fanfics he has.

Summary:A few headcanons of Jervis Tetch!

Author’s note!: I’ve been getting into DC rogues a lot!. Sorry for being gone for so long (╥﹏╥)…so here’s a lil warm up fanfic to get back into the game!. I’m hoping to get some request for DC but mainly for mad hatter and other rouges so please send in request!!

-His love for you is undoubtable, from his endearing touches to his longing glances. It’s not hard to tell his yearning for you, even if you two are in fact together.

-If I recall correctly in his first introduction in BTAS, he claimed to be lonely. So to have you a beautiful person, inside and out, spend your love on him is something that makes it seems his heart has run laps with the way it’s beating.

-Aside from his own delusional dreams of a perfect wonderland, you are one of his devotions. He can spend hours with you, preferably talking but he doesn’t mind the silence.

-Touch starved, he’s nervous to even hold your hand in fear of you reeling back in disgust. He himself knows he’s not all that well looking to most. But if your hold his face and look at him with your love filled eyes, suddenly he feels like the finest of men out there. Because if you can find something to love about him, that’s all that matters.

-He craves the masculinity he feels he doesn’t have, he’s quiet and timid when he was first introduced, but the minute he gained an upper hand on others he puffed out his chest. That power makes him feel masculine, “beating” those robbers inflated that feeling more. As he protected Alice, I feel like the same can be applied to you. If there’s ever a situation that he can help you, protect you. A sense of pride swells within him.

-weirdly enough, his favorite physical aspect of you is your eyes, he can see the color of them shine in the sun, or glimmer with excitement, and even look at him with adoration. Which can make him weak in the knees at just a simple glance. Another one is your hands, whether warm or cold, he likes the feeling of your hand in his. Especially if his hands are bigger than yours significantly. It ties back with his want of masculinity.

-Spoils you, of course he does why shouldn’t he. It can be something simple like a book or your favorite tea, maybe a pastry you’ve been craving. Or something significant like a necklace, a hat to match his, etc.

-If your off doing your own thing throughout the day, and him as well. He’d have small moments through out the day with thoughts of you, or maybe for a hot minute even day dreaming about you. Asking himself questions about how you’re doing and things of that nature.

-Yearner, I’m sure we’re all aware.

Imagine batsib! Reader that’s like Patrick Bateman from American Psycho, I don’t know that dynamic seems interesting to me.

Like imagine, that one monologue he has where it goes:

“ I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.”,

The reader has that monologue in their head as they attend a gala maybe, or at the verge of beating a villain to a disgusting extent to the point where it may be lethal. They have a lack of control with their tendencies as Patrick Bateman does. I don’t know it’s a half baked idea but it seems interesting!.

(Batsib can be interpreted as a man or woman, it’s a pretty gender neutral scenario!.)

Or to secure their basic needs—food, clothing, and tents to protect them from the rain? Should I focus on paying the rent for our apartment, or we might end up on the streets? Should I ask for help to provide milk, diapers, and vaccinations for my baby girl? Or to cover the treatments for my father-in-law, who is battling kidney cancer? Or perhaps to meet our daily needs for food and other essentials?

The world has conspired against us—now we are without a homeland, without a home, without work, and we have no idea where this path will take us. Your support could be the lifeline we so desperately need in these dark times.

Loves visiting frequently!, especially when your peaches are in season if your garden homes them.

This is a little head-canon of mine, but he knows how to make flower crowns. He use to make many when he was younger for the other young monkeys.

He always picks the ones he deems prettiest for you.

Depending on if he met you when he was younger (during Journey to the west) or older (during the time of him mentoring MK), he use to love playing hide and seek in the lush trees and bushes. But now older, he loves taking naps under the shade the beautiful trees provide.

Shoo’s off any demons or humans wondering too close to your garden for his liking. Especially after hearing what happened in the past for you to disconnect yourself from the outside.

He knows you have a guard animal but he still does his part as a boyfriend, after all he doesn’t want you to go through unnecessary stress.

Loves your guard animal!, though, the few first times of visiting your garden he either had to trick it or you had order them to stand down.

Once him and your guard animal are more acquainted he loves messing around with them, or feeding them treats. He knows their supposed to be scary and all but he just can’t help it!. Also does that thing where one person is the owner and the other isn’t and sees who the animal chooses first.

If you ever do wish to go outside, he’ll be right there to help you, and lead you to wherever you desire to go.

He loves watching you maintain the garden, he usually hangs up on a tree munching away at whatever fruit is nearest as he watches you water the flowers and crops with such care.

Brings you gifts from the outside as frequently as he can, and if your interested he’ll catch you up on the latest news.

Sometimes he manages to bring two steaming bowls of noodles from pigsy’s to you.

He loves admiring you as you relax on the soft grass, and the sun bathing you softly with its light, you look un-real to him.

Sometimes, when it’s a particularly hard day, he enjoys hiding away in your garden as well. Cuddling up next to you for comfort as you both lounge around the garden.

He doesn’t mind quite moment’s, when it’s so silent you can hear the grass shift with the soft wind, or hear the leaves rattle. How could he?, with you sitting there looking off so peacefully, and him looking at you so happily.

You are his version of your garden, a safe place, and home that no one can intrude upon.

He teleports over frequently when he feel’s overwhelmed with the noise of the outside world.

Because all he can hear is your sweet voice and the comforting sounds of the nature your garden nurtures.

He loves sneaking up behind you from the shadows of the trees. He loves the reactions he gets from it!.

Keeps his distance from your guard animal, but warms up to it eventually!.

Loves visiting at night and seeing the moon light bathe the place with its soft light.

He adore the tranquility of it all, it feels like time slows when he’s there with you. His fast paced days now coming to a slow stop when he’s laying in your arms and watching the flowers dance and sway side to side from the soft blow of wind.

Uses his shadow clones to help around the place if you ever need extra hands.

Has memorized every plant and flower you grow in your garden, but doesn’t stop you from spilling facts about them.

Mk sometimes wonder where he lounge around at when he’s not with the group. Of course, a good guess is his dojang (I believe that is what his home is called apologizes if it’s not!) but in reality he’s resting with you on flower beds.

Never mentions your garden to the crew unless you give the go ahead, but even then he tip toes over the subject, knowing your past experiences.

Puts on shadow plays for you on a particularly uneventful day. He likes seeing the smile that graces your face everytime.

His ears always picks up someone approaching your garden before your guard animal does so he’s quick to alert them.

He adores you, he truly does believe that your as beautiful as your garden, the center piece. He doesn’t understand the good karma he has received to meet you but he’s so greatful.

Black myth: wukong

Bajie probably stumbled upon your guard animal and Wukong had to jump in.

Paranoid of leading enemy’s to your garden, not that he isn’t assured in himself that he can beat it. But he’d rather you not be stressed out or worry about it.

This doesn’t stop him form pranking you from time to time by transforming to a bug and buzzing around annoyingly. Prepare to have your patients tested by him.

If you have a big enough tree, he probably climbs and chills out in the branches.

Sometimes pulls you up with him and lets you rest and balance on him. He counts this as rest and bonding time.

Absentmindedly picks a flower and places it in your hair in the middle of a conversation.

On cold months, depending on how your garden on works, he either brings the finest cloths and blankets to you. Or if your garden is magically frozen in a spring or summer season then he spends the whole winter season with you, so good luck with that.

Although not one to be picky with fruits, he just prefers the one from your garden the most. To him they taste richer, and juicer.

When a certain fruit is growing on a tree and it’s time for them to be picked, he always picks you up and lets you rest on his shoulder so you can reach them easier. Could he just pick them himself?, yes, but how could he pass an opportunity to show his strength to you.

If you ever wish to venture out of your garden, he’d greatly recommend his mountain as its already protected from demons. He’d happily feel you cling onto him as he flys you over in his nimbus cloud.

On his way to visit your garden sometimes he does see people or demons lingering too close for his comfort. He easily scares them or defeats them before your guard animal encounters them.

Speaking of your guard animal, he’d be pretty neutral about it, he’s glad that he can keep some sort of peace of mind when he’s away from you knowing your under protection. But at the same time not very interested in it. Maybe annoys it from here to there when it’s off duty but aside from that let’s it do it’s job, knowing how important it is.

Brings you some souvenirs, ranging from gold incrusted bracelets and necklaces. To flower’s you may not have in your garden that he thinks you’d enjoy!.

You have on multiple occasions, almost ran out of peaches due to his rapid consumption of them. It’s almost concerning watching him be able to stomach all of them in one sitting.

He likes the peacefulness you and your garden bring him, like as if nothing was wrong, the world is silent and inhabited by only you two. He gets agitated when this peace is disturbed by intruding strangers. And although he has learnt the virtue of patience’s, he can’t help but take offense on your behalf for the intrusion. He likes the thought of you and your garden being only something he gets to indulge in. Your to much of a lovely sight for mere demons and humans to admire.

Author note: hi!, I’m not that use to writing and English is not exactly my first language so there might be a lot of spelling mistakes.

And this is my first time writing for Sun wukong (Black myth) so he might not seem in character, if that makes sense. Either way I hope you enjoy!

Assuming you two are already dating, and he’s comfy around you, please prepare for some chaotic moments.

Not a single Moment is dry nor empty with this mischievous monkey.

From spooking you with a clone of himself, or annoying your with one of his many transformations, he never runs out of ideas to surprise you with.

That being said, he is a bit laid back now depending on what period you’re dating him. After the events of journey to the west, he is way more calmer then his “younger” self.

He enjoys the simplicity of day to day activities now, cuddling, cleaning up a small section in which you both share. Or laying out under a tree with you as you read to him.

Those small moments mean much more to him now.

He loves to pridefully declare his fearlessness and having no such thing as “a biggest fear”. But at night that’s quickly disproven, sometimes he uncharacteristically sits in silence. Mind making up fake scenarios of your demise that could have been caused by him, his reputation, his enemies. He has a silent vow to himself to protect you first with his immortal life, no matter the cost and punishment he may endure.

An uncomfortable fear of having something of value so precious, so fragile is almost to much to handle. He doesn’t look down upon you mortal or not, but he will still fret for your safety. He’s so tired of losing things he holds dear, and after not having that feeling for centuries before you came along, he almost gets so wrapped up in the possibility of losing you, he loses sight that he has you right now.

He loves picking you up at random times, doesn’t need to be a situation where you need to be picked up he’ll just do it. No matter height or weight he loves seeing you shocked and giggling.

His most sensitive parts are definitely his tail and ears, maybe his nose too. If you kiss him from ear all across his cheek to his nose, he swears all his immortal lives end there from how his hearts pumping.

He does plan on marrying you, makes it very vocal too in the beginning to make sure you know what your committing to.

Loves when you comb and pick at his fur, don’t even get started on complementing it. He’ll easily sit between your legs for hours as you comb through the top of his head, getting rid of knots and such.

He wraps his tail absentmindedly when you stand near him. He doesn’t really even acknowledge it happening, it usually wraps around your ankle or thigh Or lazily around your hips.

Watches you as you sleep, not even in a creepy way he just has to take time to appreciate you for just your mere existence.

Spoils you with fruits, peaches especially of course, but he mixes it up here to there. Sometimes he just comes waltzing in with buckets if not wagons of ripe fruit from different regions.

When you hurriedly say you cannot eat that much before they wither, he’ll just laugh. Because he knows he can so whatever you leave over he finishes it off happily. But if your generous your free to share with the other demon monkeys on the island.

He likes carrying you in his arms while he rides his nimbus cloud.

You can point to random spots and he’ll happily zoom on over there to let you explore. Of course with him trailing closely behind you.

(I’m aware that in most tellings of journey to the west they say picking up a mortal from the ground is almost impossible, but I’m gonna dismiss that. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

He likes lounging around with you on slow afternoon’s cuddling and engorging in different types of luxuries.

He loves taking you to hot springs, and enjoying time there together relaxing. That or a near by waterfall he frequents.

If he sees something you may like he just snatches it, doesn’t really matter to him where he took it, half of the time he doesn’t know himself. As long as it is worthy to be appreciated by you.

He takes naps on you, just asks you to lay down and then lays on your chest or stomach and falls into a comatose state for a good while.
