Aroace Son Goku for all your aroace/aspec needs (I even added some filtered versions for an extra aesthetic vibe). Truth be told, Goku has always radiated strong AA vibes— I can definitely see him as this because it just fits him so well. Hell, even his gi has the color scheme going on and even though that’s more incidental since that design has been around decades before aroaesflags’ AA flag was made, it’s still a nice detail.

Real talk, this episode (and that of a preceding episode that was following up to this) only gave me the impression that Craig and Tweek are simply rolling with being an openly gay couple in the fourth grade partly as a result of the town and its residents all getting gentrified... but also for that cash money money.
Creek is alright despite it being kinda overrated long before they became an actual thing in the show. I can appreciate it as a nice shout out to fans but part of me feels let down in how it was approached namely because it never came off as any sort of genuine romance. Seriously, the plot involves the two of them both being confused, frustrated and attempting to defy the system (so to speak) before ultimately relenting by the end of the story and acting as the gay duo everyone perceives them to be (never helped that a lot of Creek shippers would kinda be in your face about how the pair was ambiguously canon. Ugh, it’s like NaruHina and SasuSaku all over again)...
Also because I just enjoy the sense of sexual fluidity among the kids (like, no one necessarily explicitly stating they’re gay or straight)... Especially because they’re still just kids who’ve yet to experience what more life will have to offer them as they grow older.
Idk, maybe that’s one of the subtler nuances that Trey and Matt were going for.

They missed first period because Claus chased Kenny with a knife the whole time.
Ah, sweet old jokes from times past. Here’s another thing based off South Park+EarthBound crossover AUs that my friend and I had conjured up back in 2013. Actually, my friend had drawn this and sent it to me during our Skype calls, so props to him. I just splotched a li’l color in there. He mentioned the reason why Kyle looks tired is because he stayed up all night comforting Stan with his relationship drama.
This specific SouthBound AU is just one of our fun-mundane versions where Claus is pretty much the fifth member of the main boys’ crew and feels closest with Kenny and Kyle. In fact, we usually pair him up with Kenny as they grow older.
So, my friend and I had mutually agree that Kyle has a poor sense of fashion, at least in terms of color combinations... or a specific one in this case: orange and green. When they get older, Claus eventually realizes this and constantly criticizes Kyle over it much to the latter’s annoyance.
As for the knife, well, it’s Claus’s favorite knife that he’s had since childhood. Unfortunately, Claus is a super volatile firecracker, and often will react violently to anyone who starts shit (usually, the boys will try and hold him back). He’s gotten into trouble many a times over it.

From now on, you can find me on the Heylin side.
So, I had been meticulously spent time screen-capturing various moments in Xiaolin Showdown after having purchased the series in HD, from basic scenery to literal frame-by-frame moments, in order to utilize them for concept art and such, when I landed upon this killer frame of Raimundo in Days Past. Every time I come across special li’l frames like these, it’s like finding a twenty dollar bill on the ground while you’re casually strolling about.
Initially, I had wanted to clean up the shot because it is impossible to capture this moment without the faded staff credits showing up during the initial part of the episode. Seriously, I was running this episode on the slowest setting in the player. Thankfully, the opacity of the letters was minute and just barely overlapped with Raimundo’s face.
I later decided to cut him out of the scene for possible customization purposes, and then wound up playing around with him. So, I thought I’d have a little more fun with him– make him look more unsettling, try another color setting, etc.

Surely, nobody can deny how adorable this is, am I right?  I’ll have to make a note of redrawing this moment.
While I do enjoy them as a pair, I’ve rather liked the alternate idea of Wuya and Raimundo having a mother-son relationship. Like, I’ve heard people say that Jack and Wuya have something like that and I’ve seen the show itself poke fun at it before as well. Still, I sort of prefer it with Rai and Wuya a little more—especially given that, besides Omi, Raimundo is the only other Xiaolin Dragon whose real family we never get to see. He mentions having siblings, but it’s never elaborated whether they’re younger, older, or a bit of both. Furthermore, Raimundo never once mentions anything about a mom or dad. This sort of thing drove me mad because I had felt so desperate to see more of his background and I had only received very very vague ideas of it from whatever Raimundo might give away in dialogue or more abstract sequences (such as his dreams). I even went out of my way to spend hours upon hours reading of Brazilian history, culture, current events, etc. in order to get a feel how these factors would have potentially effected his life and shape his personality.
But I digress... One of the headcanons I had developed was that he might not have a good relationship, if any, with his parents (due to neglect, abuse, abandonment, or dying or something). Thus, he might seek parental figures in others such as Master Fung. This also can make him incredibly vulnerable to those who recognize those wants and needs. Both Wuya and Hannibal Roy Bean have been privy to the infrastructure of Raimundo’s mind.
But that’s something I’ll dive into another day.

You cannot grasp the power of dat Jewfro. Now in color!
So, for over three years now, a close friend and I had done crossover roleplays that involved the characters South Park and EarthBound/MOTHER. It’s gotten so deep that we developed differing AUs for that crossover.
A general canon I had developed for that crossover was that Kyle is Gyiyg/Giygas reborn as a human. This was partly because I had Kyle being affiliated with evil/Satanic forces (thank Woodland Critters for that one). So, naturally, he can turn into the primordial force of evil and chaos (you know Azathoth n’ shit) as he did in his past life. This doesn’t necessarily make Kyle evil, himself. Gyiyg wasn’t initially evil either. It usually has to do with becoming corroded and corrupted by his vices and feelings of hatred and rage.

WALKIN AROUND IN MAH BANANA SHOES GOING SQUISH SQUISH SQUISH
The past week, I had Death Note and the Banana Shoes remix on my brain and they wound up overlapping to where I saw Light dancin’ and singing it like the wonderfully dorky bastard he is. Seeing the movie only prompted me further into doing this. Honestly, the poor kid has this persisting kicked puppy look--even when he has happy moments. I mean, seriously, the only other person I can remember having perpetual kicked puppy face is Trey Parker. I thought Light needed something fun to sing and dance to.
Seriously, anyone remember this remix?

A take on Hebrew Kyle from Jewpacabra with LoZ characteristics. In the Stick of Truth universe, I have a headcanon where Kyle’s childhood appearance is actually akin to how he appeared in Jewpacabra (hence, the pointed ears). In other words, this is actually a young Kyle from the SoT!universe, yo!

Stick of Truth AU Kyle based on a concept design my friend had made when we were doing one of our RPs and mulling over character designs for a Stick of Truth universe that's not just a pretend game. There are some interesting ones out there that are definitely cool but not quite what we wanted to work with. A lot of them just involve Kyle in the robe and crown...which kinda strikes me as lacking. With some of those, it's like he just got out from bathing or bed or something.
Needless to say, this was a pretty neat design. The only thing that was frustrating for them was dealing with Kyle's color palette. Specifically the orange that already was bad with green to begin with. Yet despite his bad fashion sense, Kyle would not be Kyle without his orange and green attire. The hat was a really clever idea...but neither of us have a clue what that specific type of hat is called. Nonetheless, it's a great substitute for his typical green trapper hat. I realize I made his boots uneven with the angling too but whatever... The art is mine.

Yeah, I never really quite expected them to go into that because of the fucking childrens tv lawsuits for inappropriate content. But Adventure Time is like TVPG audience, isn't it? That means the guidance is suggested otherwise it would be TVY. And the fact that's more irritating is when other shows, like Regular Show's (and I do enjoy this show, but honestly) occasions of...do I really need to explain? You guys likely have some awareness of it. But yeah, it may eventually get picked at too.
I understand Pen Ward does not want to get in trouble with CN or the audience as that could mean his cartoon getting potentially banned from the channel and possibly not even air. That would hurt him, his fellow workers, and the fans. Though, I think it's possible that Ward might actually do a loophole and explain the Mushroom War story in the Adventure Time comic book series instead where he's much less likely to have to worry about that kind of bullshit.
Though, in a sort of way, as much as I'd like to know what happened, I do like having it be a mystery too. It always makes me ponder vast ideas of what could have happened and makes it all the more fun. So it might be disappointing to have any prior thoughts contradicted. But, it's ultimately Pen's choice in how he conducts the orchestra of his creative juices. So if he chooses to do it or not, then so be it.
Not sure if this is legit but…..THEY’RE DROPPING THE WHOLE MUSHROOM WAR IDEA!!!! Guess why?! Give up? Welp here’s the answer. Just promise not to kill me. (deep breath) it’s because it’s not “Kid Show Appropriate” What the fuck!? So a war isn’t appropriate for kids, yet Muscle Man shoving his...
