A Heartful Story of a Brave Little Girl in Gaza 💔😥

In the heart of Gaza, where the sky carries the sound of drones and the ground trembles with distant echoes of destruction, lives a little girl named Jana. She is not yet old enough to speak in full sentences, but her eyes have already seen more than most do in a lifetime. Her tiny body, covered in painful red sores, tells a story of suffering, resilience, and quiet courage.

Jana was born into a world where the sun rises each day not with promise, but with uncertainty. Her mother, young and exhausted, cradles her through sleepless nights—each one haunted by the fear that tomorrow may never come. When the red spots first appeared on Jana’s arms, her mother hoped it was nothing. But they spread quickly, blistering and raw, as the blockade around their home made even basic medical care a luxury they could not reach.

The small clinic nearby had long since run out of supplies. Doctors, overwhelmed and under-equipped, did what they could. Jana’s infection worsened, and so did her fever. Her mother sat beside her, whispering soft prayers and wiping her brow with a damp cloth, unable to do more but hold her close and hope.

Still, Jana clung to life with a strength that defied her fragile frame. Her small hand grasped a worn-out teddy bear, her only toy, and from time to time she would reach out toward the sliver of sunlight that filtered through the cracks of their damaged home. She didn’t understand the war, or why there was no medicine, or why her skin burned—but she knew love. She felt it in every song her mother sang, in every soothing touch, in every neighbor who came to check on her.

The people around her, though broken themselves, gave what little they had. One neighbor offered antiseptic cream from a long-expired stash. Another brought clean water. An old woman hummed lullabies she remembered from her own childhood. They called Jana the little flower who refuses to wilt.

Jana is more than a child with a skin condition. She is the soul of Gaza—wounded but not defeated. Her suffering is a reflection of the silent agony of thousands of children just like her, whose names the world will never know. But her spirit, so tender and yet so strong, burns like a candle in the dark.

💔 3 Months, No Funds – Still Holding On

It’s been 3 months since the last fund, and I’ll be honest — it hasn’t received any support yet. And I am so far from my limit. I am not asking for much.

My name is Alaa. I’m a mother caught in the middle of a war, trying to keep my children alive.

We’ve lost everything — our home, our safety, even the right to clean water and food. Every day, I watch my children cry from hunger, illness, and fear. One of them is seriously sick, and I can’t get them the treatment they need. My elderly mother is also suffering, and we’re surrounded by death, disease, and despair.

In the shelter where we’ve taken refuge, 50+ people a day come to our small medical point with painful skin rashes caused by infections and insect bites. Stagnant water, waste, and overcrowding have made this place a breeding ground for disease.

We are not living — we are only surviving. And even that is slipping away.

Update: Mohammed’s Condition Is Getting Worse – We Need Urgent Help

We’re writing today with a heavy heart to share an urgent update about Mohammed, my 17-year-old cousin with Down syndrome. Over the past few days, his health has taken a serious turn for the worse. As many of you know, Mohammed has already been through unimaginable trauma — enduring relentless airstrikes, displacement, and a complete lack of medical care. But now, his condition is deteriorating rapidly.

He is suffering from recurring seizures and extreme fatigue. His breathing has become shallow, and he is no longer responding as he normally would. There are no medical facilities available nearby that can treat him — no clinics, no doctors, not even basic medications. We are doing everything we can with the extremely limited resources we have, but it is simply not enough.

We fear we are running out of time.

Evacuating from Gaza is not just about safety anymore — it’s about survival. For Mohammed, this is a matter of life or death. We are begging for your continued support and shares. Every donation brings us one step closer to the border, to medical care, and to hope.

This is what the effects of war have left on children.. More than 10 thousand injured children need immediate evacuation from Gaza .. ‏The last successful medical evac was on Jan 16th.. There was supposed to be one the following week, but it was cancelled as the ceasefire came into place. ‏There are multiple countries & facilities that are willing to take Habiba, we just need to be able to get her out. In theory, per the ceasefire/hostage deal evacs are supposed to start after all female hostages are released, which would be Sunday and we have received assurances that her case is being considered urgent and top priority.

‏But we also keep hearing conflicting information as to whether or not medical evacuations will actually start on that day. There is confusion and a total lack of clarity over the ‏mechanisms of the post-ceasefire medical evacuations
