Soooo, months and MONTHS ago the color palette meme was ALL THE RAGE and I wanted to do it SO BADLY but was TOO busy.  Thankfully, my friend, @germaricanmix, allowed me a chance to do it by suggesting timkon with the color palette #12.  

I only had a little bit of time between work, so it's pretty messy but here.

Liiiiittle bit of a story.  I love the Kon-having-died-Tim-mourning thing, so I like to think that Kon has died and the only time Tim feels like he has any connection with him anymore is when he's free-falling.  It's like he can feel Kon protecting him, trying to keep him safe.  For whatever reason, it's the only way he feels close to Kon anymore now that he's passed.  It's crazy and it's dangerous, but being without him feels moreso.

...I'm so lame.  I know.

Can we talk about this?  Can we actually just talk about this thing right here for a moment?  This that has over five THOUSAND reblogs and faves.  THIS.

I love the Robins.  I freaking LOVE them.  So, finding something like this, I'm all, "Sweet!  Let me read about this shit right here."  I'm scrolling through these like, "Awesome.  Cool.  Badass."  And then.  And THEN I get to this last one.  

"The True Son"

Reeeeeeaaaaaaalllllllllly....

The TRUE son.  Not that POSER son like Dick is.  Or that faker-ass son that Tim--you know, who he OFFICIALLY ADOPTED--is.  Nope.  Damian.  The TRUE son.  Because being BIOLOGICALLY RELATED to someone is the ONLY valid and TRUE familial relation.

Doesn't fucking matter that Dick has been brought up since he was BASICALLY DAMIAN'S AGE to FUCKING ADULTHOOD by Bruce.  Taught, provided for, and RAISED by Bruce.  No, asshole, sorry, your DNA is different, therefore, you're not a TRUE son.  

Can we please outline this in adoption pamphlets so that kids aren't confused? 

"When you're adopted by a new family, you won't be their TRUE child.  Sorry!  That belongs to blood relations and ONLY blood relations.  And if your adoptive parents have any BIOLOGICAL kids, well, they are members of the TRUE family.  You're a worthless interloper. Don't forget it!" 

Thank you for SPITTING IN THE FACES of adopted children everywhere with this "true son" bullshit.  Damian, the fucking asshole, attitudinal, demon-child who waltzes into Bruce's life from fucking NOWHERE for about a YEAR is deemed the TRUE son over the child he LIVED WITH, CARED FOR, TAUGHT, and RAISED TO ADULTHOOD.  Because genetics are the only family bond that actually counts.  

Look, I know this is just some bullshit series of images trying to be cool.  I wouldn't even comment on this shit if it didn't have 5k notes attached to it.  But really, this is fucking insulting to adoptive children and their families.  It could've been Damian "The Lost Son" or "The Genetic Son" fucking something that describes him as a CHARACTER even.  But no.  He is distilled down to his BIOLOGICAL RELATION and then noted that this makes his relation superior to all the other Robins, INCLUDING the adopted ones. 

Bull.  Shit. 

Besides, you need to change it to "The Dead Son" now. 

If you want it to actually be TRUE.

...fuck this shit.
