2 years ago today I started a journey to start living a true and honest life. I started a journey that I was hoping would help me progress as a human being. I have fought and clawed my way to get to where I am today, a proud grown man. It wasn’t easy and still to this day I have a lot of growing to do. But I’m happy to say that 2 years in of being myself I haven’t felt better about life. From years of struggling to 2 years of peace within myself, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Being transgender isn’t always the easiest, but I did it. Thank you God for never leaving me alone or ever leaving me behind. And thank you to my friends and family who have stuck with me through this tiring, but life changing time. If there is one thing I’ve learned it takes no effort to be yourself, but it takes an army to be anything but.
