Today I attended one of the monthly "relax & rejuvenate mini retreats" held by Irina aka I.M yoga in Greenbank. It was an incredible day and I definitely learnt a lot and did a lot of work opening my chakras. The mini retreat is 6 hours long with the first part focusing on movement (yang) with a gentle flow and a 40 minute deep yoga nidra (meditative yogic sleep state) followed by a delicious vegan smorgasbord and then the afternoon was a gentle yin flow where each pose was held for 10 minutes. We ended with a 10 minute heart meditation. We also got these little gifts, organic rosemary from Irinas garden and these little crystals which I forgot the name of but you melt them in a warmer or oil burner.
