Last year, I drew the Doctor and the Master from my human au  for pride month, and so I decided to draw them again this year - with pride milkshakes rather than pride flags! The wildest thing about this is that when I posted the first picture, it was the first time I’d mentioned the au on my blog. Now, I’m posting part 3 of the series and working on part 5!

For those who don’t know anything about my au - thirteen is an investigative journalist with partial retrograde amnesia, the TARDIS is a campervan and the Master is pain (because some things never change). It’s called The Roads That Forgot How to Speak, and it’s on ao3 - but you can find out more about it by looking at the campervan au tag on my blog!

So I was sitting in the dark stair case in my breakfast break when a random student walked past me then stopped and went back up and then stood next to me. Then said "Well regeneration clearly is a lottery but changing the character completely is new. Or is this such a thing like with the War Doctor? Being the Ace Master?"

If I see one more person separate Missy from the male Masters as if she's another character just because she's a woman, that person might catch a table with their face.

instead of killing characters off at random for shock value, may i propose a hip new trend: keeping characters alive at random for shock value. by all logic, this character should be dead. there’s no possible explanation for how they continue to shuffle ‘round this mortal coil. maybe we literally saw them die onscreen back in the passe era of shock value deaths. and yet, there they are. alive before our eyeballs.

The Master: Ah, Doctor! I’ve teamed up with this race of angry, warlike hyperwasps and together we’ll sting all of humanity!

Third Doctor: You know they’re just going to sting you, too, right?

The Master: Oh god, you’re right! Please help me stop them!

The Master: Ah, Doctor! I’ve teamed up with this collection of sentient, fascist steamrollers and together we’ll flatten all of humanity!

Third Doctor: *sigh*

The Doctor on his answering machine: *giggles* You’ve reached the good ship Tardis, *chuckling* we’re rather busy at the moment. *chuckling continues* Leave a message after the beep and we’ll try and get back to you before you called. Stop that! *giggles*

The Master: *sighs* You really should change that message!

Tell me the doctor didn’t record that while making out with the master. I dare you!
