Guys I just learned that James was born on Mother’s Day in the UK!!

As someone who was born on Mother’s Day in the US and does do this, I fully believe that for his first few years at Hogwarts, whenever someone asked about his birthday he would mention that he was born on Mother’s Day.

Also is that not the sweetest thing ever? Like Effie and Monty were trying to have a kid for so long and then when they finally have a kid he’s born on Mother’s Day? Like best gift ever.

And today is Remus’ birthday AND Mother’s Day in the UK and imagine how happy James would be when Remus’ birthday is on Mother’s Day because “it’s kinda both of our birthdays today which makes me and Moony brothers :)”

A few years ago I read this really weird fic. It was endgame Jily so I was really excited about it but then they DIED. And everyone thought Sirius was responsible so he went to jail even though we all know Sirius and James are too codependent for Sirius to have helped in his murder.

Marlene and Mary are mentioned maybe twice, Jegulus never happens and you think that there’s Wolfstar but this Sirius gets killed by BELLATRIX and like a year later Remus marries Andromeda’s daughter! That was weird.

Dorcas, Pandora, and Evan are only briefly mentioned too. That means that there’s no Dorlene which was a nightmare. They let Snape be a teacher which was a horrible idea. Also Regulus is literally drowned and then completely forgotten about which was wild.

Barty is actually in it a bit but most of that is while he’s using poly juice to look like mad-eye? Like babes that’s the guy who killed your bf what were you thinking? Also Barty is mildly evil and kills his dad and he also helps torture Alice and Frank into insanity. So yeah.

It was a next gen fic so the main character was James and Lily’s son.

Overall it was just a bit of a stretch for me

No because my headcanon birthday for Regulus is September 3rd because

1. It matches with Sirius’ (November 3rd)

2. Him and Sirius just barley aren’t in the same year

3. They celebrate their ‘birthday’ together on October 3rd (on October third, he asked me what day is was) (it’s October 3rd) (my new favorite day).

4. Imagine Sirius who promised Reggie he’d write exactly 11 pages for his birthday but after his sorting his parents stole his letters before his brother could read them

5. Imagine Walburga and Orion didn’t even tell Reg that Sirius had written to him and he thought his brother had forgotten about him already.

Everyone on tiktok saying happy birthday to Reggie as if he wasn't born in December 😟
