I don't think another Tumblr post has resonated with me more than this one has. If I were to make a list of my top ten favourite Tumblr posts this would 100% be on it.
"all you need is love" WRONG. Spaghetti meatballs.

I was recently in Denmark on holidays and I can confirm that everything there is made out of Lego. You may not think it from the pictures you see online but upon closer inspection you will see that every single thing has been expertly built with Lego bricks. The vehicles? Lego. The buildings? Lego. The beds? Lego (surprisingly comfortable though). Even the trees and other plants are made out of Lego. I didn't meet the royal family but I have reason to believe that they are also made out of Lego.

Honestly, I had initially had my doubts about Alien Earth but after finally getting around to watching the first two episodes I am totally on board and can not wait for more episodes to come.

It's fitting, The Incredibles was inspired by the Fantastic Four and who is the composer they get for the new Fantastic Four movie? Michael Giacchino, the guy who composed the score for The Incredibles. That is just such a great decision and his work in both movies is absolutely incredible (or should I say fantastic).

Minor spoiler for the new Superman movie.
Ok so when Lex Luthor threatened to kill Clark Kent in front of Superman (not knowing that Clark is Superman) was anyone else reminded of the scene in Spider-Man 2 where Harry Osborn tells Doctor Octopus to go after Peter Parker bacause he knows Spider-Man (neither of whom know that Peter is Spider-Man) or the scene later in the movie where Ock kidnaps Mary Jane and tells Peter to find Spider-Man (still unaware that Peter is Spider-Man).
They're such great bits of dramatic irony that feel like they were ripped straight out of a comic book.

I just know that if this man existed in the MCU he would rip into Tony for creating Ultron
The thing you gotta understand about Mr. Terrific in the new Superman movie is that he is always the smartest man in the room.
And he HATES it.
It's not that he hates being smart, he just hates how he can never quite predict how dumb everyone else is.
Just when he thinks he knows how low Guy's IQ is: "we are both of the cloth"
No, Lois, we can't repel down there, WHERE WOULD WE GET THE EQUIPMENT?
DO YOU REALLY NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CIRCLES AND SPHERES?!??!?
WHY WOULD YOU BRING YOUR DOG TO THIS TEAR IN THE FABRIC OF REALITY?
And then, when there's someone who actually is intelligent, it's like the intelligence only increases their capacity for dumbassery
Lex, you're supposed to be a super genius so whY WOULD YOU BUILD A GOD DAMN POCKET DIMENSION?!?!!?!

Just got out the cinema and yeah I liked it. I haven't seen Days and Weeks in a while so I can't say how it stacks up to them but as a standalone it's quite good. I don't know if it's one of my favourite zombie movies but it's far from being the worst one.
Also I loved the use of that 1915 recording of the Rudyard Kipling poem 'Boots' in the trailers and one scene in the film. It's geuinely so haunting and works so well for the film.
I finally got all my exams done today so I decided to celebrate, the only way I know how.
By going to see 28 Years Later in the cinema on it's day of release here in Ireland. I'll update y'all on what I think of it later.

Worst birthday gift ever.
The thing is, the exam is history. I like history but the history exam is just essays. I have to write three 5-page essays (plus 1 mini-essay) in 2 hours and 50 minutes. I can write a good history essay but not three of them in less than three hours!

Omg I remember seeing this ad whenever I'ld put on certain dvds as a kid.
Interesting to think about how piracy isn't thought of as big a deal as it used to be, likely due to the advent of various different streaming services that you have to pay for in order to access their content.
