Arcane Taskmaster AU.

The cast is:

Caitlyn Kiramman - One of the most well-known people they've had on the show being a Kiramman, though she's relatively new to the comedy scene. Her career began as an actress following her mother's legacy, but she's loosened up over time, wanting to explore new ventures and forge her own path.

Violet Lanes - A controversial pick, due less to her being one of the only Americans in the show's history and more to her stint in prison after a collection of DUIs and bad nights came crashing down on her. She's cleaned up her act, and a dumb, lighthearted show that paints her in a decent light is exactly what she needs at this point in her career.

Mel Medarda - Among the young cast, she manages to be the second most seasoned comedian after bursting onto the scene at a young age. Above most things, she wanted to come on the show due to knowing how much her mother would despise a dumb comedy show coming up when the prestigious Medarda name is searched online.

Viktor Heralds - Though he's not nearly as well known as the rest of the cast, he's incredibly well-known and respected in every circle he's entered. He's as whip-smart as he is deadpan, sparking his fan base to question how having him on the show is fair for any of the other contestants.

Vander Wick - Easily the oldest member of the cast, Vander goes into the game hoping to have a good time and looking forward to being underestimated by the cocky younger crowd. He certainly wasn't expecting the father/daughter bond he'd formed with the scrappy Violet Lanes over the course of the show.

I can't for the life of my figure out who the hosts would be, maybe something with Benzo or Grayson if it's not just still Greg and Alex lol.

But I just see so much potential!! :( Like maybe Vi, Caitlyn, and Vander are a team for team tasks, all butting heads while slowly growing to enjoy each other's company as the power team of Viktor and Mel destroys every single one. A running 'joke' of Vi and Caitlyn flirting starts during the studio segments, Mel and Viktor have a playful rivalry when they aren't working together, there could be so much fun behind the scenes stuff, gosh

anyway I'll stop rambling about this.

Shoutout to other boring trans girls!! Trans girls who can't go to pride events because they're too loud, trans girl who aren't really into kink but wish there were to fit in with other trans girls, trans girls who are bad at makeup and hair and don't really care because they aren't going out much anyway, trans girls who are squishy and soft and just want to be loved and love others even though the world can be a lot to handle a lot of the time.

I think the biggest problem with Date Everything! to me is the fact that it's like, one or two extra scenes per character away from being vastly better, but from a development standpoint, that would require talking to 100 fucking people who are all probably busy with other things. Like it's a super cool project and I appreciate having access to a lot of great voice acting to listen to, but they really shot themselves in the foot by making any possible additions, large or small, be a far, far larger undertaking then a dating sim with less characters and less big names.

random low effort Date Everything dateable ideas:

Tina Tuss (Tinnitus): Clingy gal who doesn't know how to manage boundaries. She shows up randomly, interrupting other dateables similar to Lucinda Lavish, but slowly learns how to respect the character's boundaries through chatting with them. Maybe she can be talked to with some kind of actual object eventually? But I can't think of what it would be.

Helian Birdie (Bird Seed): She's for the bird feeder outside one of your windows. She's pretty silly and sweet, often looking out the window longingly waiting for birds to show up (and she miiight have a bit of a crush on Wyndolyn but that's her business). The character helps her learn about birds and how she has value beyond what she provides to them.

Fawny Frolicker (Deer Statue): Very self indulgent of me but I just want a deergirl okay!!! She's really shy and nervous about not having an actual purpose unlike a lot of other things in the house. The character helps her realize decorations have their own value and that she's allowed to see that in herself.

Reddie Tee (Red T-shirt): The titular red t-shirt the dateables mention the character wearing. They're reliable and feel quite close to the character already, but it's up to the character if they jump right into it or take things slow with their new ability to connect.

vengeful ghost x the one person who was nice to them...

Our ghost was driven mad by the rampant bullying she experienced during her life, ultimately culminating in a "prank" that ended with her jolting awake, her limp body not following her spirit. It's not long before she starts to understand and savor her abilities - a bloody message showing up on a wall, her mangled figure appearing in a mirror or at the end of a dark hallway, the sensation of being touched late at night, and the hint of a cruel laugh at the edge of their hearing with each fruitless smack at their own body to stop it.

But there's one exception. One member of the group who never laughed as loud as the others, often cutting off quickly to give her a sympathetic smile. One member who would make up an excuse to lag behind so they could chat about mutual classes, or how their days have been going besides what just happened. One member who, unlike all the others who ran off or scoffed at their toy's audacity to be broken, stayed behind and sobbed over her body, apologizing profusely for never standing up for her.

A week after the incident, she's laying in her bed, staring at the ceiling with the weight of what happened heavy on her mind. She thinks of everything she could have done to save who she would consider a friend. She cries, curled up in a ball, hugging her favorite plush bear tightly.

And out from the tinny speaker inside it's fluffy comes a quiet, new noise.

"It's not your fault," it whispers, and she startles, tossing her childhood plush to the other side of her bed. The bear uprights itself, and there's an odd sparkle in it's sweet button eyes. "It was more bearable with you around."

She laughs, partly out of the sheer impossibility of the sight in front of her, but more so because of how unlikely it suddenly became that this was some sort of utterly cruel prank. Nobody knows that adorably dorky sense of humor like her.

More tears follow as she pulls her friend tight to her chest, planting a kiss on the bear's forehead as more apologies spill out of her anyway. They chat the night away, getting lost in their familiar rapport.

Eventually, the bear suggest an idea before falling limply against the bed, and she takes the suggestion, standing in front of her mirror before looking down, then quickly up again.

And somehow, someway, her friend is behind her. A hand is on her shoulder. And though it comes with a colder edge then usual, she gets to truly hug her friend, feeling soft breath on the crook of her neck and long hair against her shoulder.

I know this is an absurd thing to lobby for, but

Please please please vote e, not only for this, but for everything. A few weeks ago, out of boredom, I was doing a Smash or Pass list of every basic letter and number, and I can honestly say that few things in this world have so immediately and richly affected me as the number e.

She's a mysterious stranger in a bar, draped in a feather boa that would look obnoxious on anybody else but seems like it was crafted specifically for her, an extension of her grace, her effortlessly flowing movements. There's not a word from her mouth before you're enthralled. A piercing, beckoning glare, subtle curves and hands that command with the slightest of movements.

In one night she could change your life and disappear after, but God, you'd be thankful anyway.

Beyond the feelings she evokes, that number is a fucking marvel - 2.7182818, God, I know it sounds absurd, but I haven't seen a single piece of intentionally erotic material that is anywhere near as erotic as that sequence. She moves in mysterious ways yet beneath it all, it's like she's given you a special sixth sense attuned only to her, a deep feeling within your very core where e is the only reading.

She's a Goddess, she's grace incarnate, she's a natural beauty, she's everything a number could be and more, she's... e.
