Inspired by this image from a game called Legend of the Cryptids, I really wanted to develop some form of class that controls enemies like marionettes with tendrils of arcane energy. The struggle became when decided which class to make it a subclass of, since I always feel 5e is lacking in regards to class options (as more sub classes are released, this became less of a problem). A mouthful to say, but intriguing to use, the Ring Blade Master (for short) is based on the Soul Calibur games’ character named Tira. By studying her moveset, we were able to make a Fighter Archetype that follows a similar attack style.

We should note that all depictions and likeness to Tira belong to Bandai Namco Entertainment; we take no credit for her design, only for this Fighter Archetype.
