You can't forgive someone who isn't even guilty for hurting you. You can only move forward with your life without them in it.

Trauma does not build character
Trauma can be understood as memories one holds that hurt them and it often catches one off guard.
When you do not have access to emotionally mature people around you while growing up, your shame grows from the mere fact that something unpleasant happened to you. This makes it difficult for the trauma survivor to make sense of their experience. It is extremely uncomfortable and awful to even realize that experience is now stored in some corner neuron in your brain. It is absolutely unfair and agonizing.
A few tips for people who struggle with traumatic memories/ emotionally overwhelming memories:
Learn skills that will help you deal with emotionally tense conversations.
Learn to communicate your needs while acknowledging your brain works better when you can make clearer decisions. (Example, good sleep helps with retaining more information)
Attention is the bare minimum. You should ask for attention verbally from everyone and from those you consider friends/ family, learn that attention alone is not enough. Choose to open up while you let your loved ones earn your trust because you're worthy.
Friendship without intimacy/ closeness is a transaction that is a convenience rather than a relationship.

Being loved versus feeling loved
Just because you don't feel loved doesn't mean you are not loved.
People make the best out of the ignorance they possess most of the time and the result is this... Love that feels insensitive. One can fix this by working on their affinity to make irrational decisions.
Love is a higher order cognitive ability, it is not mere impulsive passion or commitment based on attachment/ familiarity.
Love is an attempt to understand another objectively while simultaneously experiencing subjective life events together. It is a human emotion that is complex even though it is pretty straightforward. Love is more of a mindset and is more independent of circumstances than one would assume.

Being Found
I know people say talking and explaining and discovering and discussing is important...But...
I wish more people felt the sheer bliss of having your silence be understood.
It is almost like the other person found you out and you are now known to them but somehow, this time, you don't feel like escaping.
What do you call this?

Runaways
Let's run away to wonderland, you and me.
Drink tea while wearing exaggerated hats.
Lose our minds while we find our hearts.
Only to realize we really lack nothing at all.
Well, except time. We don't have much time.
Or maybe it's all just a dream. A nightmare.
Just another twisted yet goofy folklore.
Anyway, let's run away to wonderland.
You and me. Madness and magic.
You and me. Fight and fright.
You and me. Friends but family.

I revere God and so I fear people
I cannot know when someone will betray me but when I look at someone I've known over time, I start seeing the divine within. I revere the goodness. The purest form of a person, the form that looks like a part of God's, that is infinitely raw and natural. A form that is aware of mortality and enjoys simply being.
I think when most people say they hate it here... they don't mean this planet or this universe. The earth is beautiful and everything in it is beautiful but it is the people that spoil it. I wish we gave more space for understanding in the place of ignorance. Ignorance has always been the downfall of humanity.

Enough!
Learning to say "enough!" to the things that don't bring me joy...
A pause to look back at all the things I've lost, I've found, I've bettered.
What would it take to savor this moment in the here and now?
To say it was a really long, short journey and wonder if,
"Are there more things I could say I've had enough of?"
Moving forward also means holding on to something you've never held before.

Phantom Pains of the Heart
I confessed my sins but you decided to play God and pretend as if I committed none.
You were amused with all my pains and the way I was plain.
Words can never be trusted but your eyes were all the proof I needed.
You were possessed with the ghost of pasts but I'd rather stay free than haunted.
Why communicate with the dead now when you're going to die one day anyway.
The mind, body, spirit and soul, only this time, is thrilled with the heart.
The phantom pains of the heart are remarkable to experience, most certainly for the heartless, at least.
