I'm gonna talk about Slytherin Pandora and Hufflepuff Regulus again because I love them and nobody can stop me.

Pandora is ambitious. Maybe too much so. In canon she was killed by her own experiment.

Regulus is compassionate. He betrayed the dark lord after he mistreated his house elf and willingly chose to drink a torture potion so his house elf didn't have to.

Pandora's family (probably the Rosiers (Rosier twins my beloveds) but the Lestranges work too) were pleasantly surprised when Pandora sorted slytherin. At best they thought she would be a ravenclaw.

Walburga and Orion were just as angry about Reg's sorting as they were with Sirius', but when it came to Reg's sorting they were also very embarrassed.

Their friend group has every house. Evan and Pandora are slytherin, Regulus is hufflepuff, Barty is ravenclaw, and Dorcas is gryffindor. (alternatively, put Dorcas in slytherin too and have them all make fun of gryffindors all the time).

Barty is the one to introduce Pandora to Xenophilius.

Much like Prongsfoot and Rosekiller, you don't usually see one without the other close by and if you do, they are probably on their way to find the other.

Regulus LOATHES the fact that he has to wear yellow all the time. Pandora says it makes him look like a little bumble bee (this does not make him feel better).

At first, Barty thought Regulus was the scary one of the two, until he witnessed Regulus ranting about the mistreatment of some magical creature Barty never heard of while Pandora experimentally dipped random items into an acid of her own making with the creepiest expression on her face he has ever seen.

2nd year James Potter thought Sirius' "sweet hufflepuff little brother" was "so cute!" until he tried to pinch Regulus' cheeks as a joke and Reg bit him.

They once switched their uniform colours and very few people actually noticed.

Its generally a bad idea to piss off either of them, but god help you if you manage to piss of both of them. Rip.

I could go on and on but this is probably enough for now.

Kinda surprised I haven't found a horcrux hunting fic where Regulus "I will betray the Dark Lord for my house elf" Arcturus Black (canon), or maybe, Regulus "I love magical creatures, Care for Magical Creatures is my favourite class at school" Arcturus Black (fanon), frees the dragon from Gringotts while stealing Helga Hufflepuff's cup from Bellatrix's vault (just like the Golden Trio do). But instead of it just flying off, never to be seen again, they become friends and Regulus brings a whole ass dragon to help him kill Voldemort.

I always love it when the Black cousins have closer relationships to each other in fan works.

In my head, Sirius is Andromeda's baby and Regulus is Narcissa's. Bellatrix is not allowed to babysit alone lol.

A while ago I read a fic where Sirius goes to live with Andromeda instead of the Potters when he runs away and it might have been deleted because I can't find it, but it was sooo sweet.

I'm also currently reading a fic where Andromeda took Sirius with her when she left and raised him as her son. Will add the fic name and author if I can find it. (After All This Time by starsarestories on ao3)

But I haven't been able to find any fics with Narcissa and Regulus like that, or even Bellatrix and Regulus and its killing me. I need it.

My favourite fanfic trope is when the MC is inexplicably overpowered. Especially when they are super nonchalant about it.

Now that I think about it, thats probably why I love Whatever happened to the young, young lovers? by georgia_sk so much.

And Saiki K and One Punch Man. Those aren't fanfics but my point still stands.

Pandora and Regulus as the Hufflepuff and Slytherin friendship trope but Regulus is the hufflepuff and Pandora is the slytherin and everyone is very confused about it.

Like

She's cunning and a great liar. She's able to get what she wants through lies and deceit but she's always so genuinely nice that people never suspect it. Everyone thinks she's the hufflepuff.

He's loyal. So loyal. Nobody messes with his friends (or brother) without facing the consequences. He's always sarcastic and mean and people avoid him because of it. Everyone thinks he's the slytherin.

Anyways, they're best friends and they confuse people constantly.

I have not been able to stop thinking about Jegulus and Pandalily co-parenting Harry and Luna.

Regulus and Pandora knew they were gay but were forced into an arranged marriage by their parents and ran away either a little before or a little after Luna was born.

Jilly are highschool sweethearts who got married right out of school, only to realise after Harry is born that they love each other but aren't in love with each other (if that makes sense).

Both couples break up but stay best friends of course.

Then Pandalily and Jegulus get together.

Luna and Harry grow up as siblings with two mums and two dads.

James is 'Dad', Lily is 'Mum', Regulus is 'Papa' and Pandora is 'Mama'.

They all live in a house together as a family. Happy ending.

(bonus: Sirius and Remus raising Teddy alongside them. One big happy family)

MoonWater fic (could be romantic or platonic) where Regulus' animagus is a little black lamb instead of a cat and Moony, the giant wolf, is very protective of this adorable little lamb who follows him around every full moon.
