regulus black hates silence. can’t stand it really. not to say he’s fond of loud noises 24/7 but he just finds silence eerie. silence in grimmauld felt suffocating. that’s why he loves sharing a dorm with Evan and Barty, they never shut up. literally ever. they have arguments regulus could end in seconds pulling open a book, except he never does because he likes the sound, and also now he’s kind of interested to see how Barty is gonna debate his way out of saying amortientia isn’t that powerful.

barty crouch jr hates not being listened to. his father did it all his life and he can’t stand it. he needs to know people care enough to listen. That’s why he loves rooming with Evan and Regulus. Evan will always respond to whatever Barty is on about, and he knows Regulus is incapable of not listening to everything around him, the people watcher little shit.

evan rosier hates to not be included. would rather be dead than ignored. he loves Panda, really don’t get him wrong, but having a twin gets old when people always treat you as one person. he just. likes being acknowledged really. that’s what he loves about being with Barty and Regulus. Barty rarely stops talking to him, even if they’re far apart he will find a way to get closer to evan just to whisper a joke in his ear, and if he can’t then he’ll yell it across the room and pay the consequences. and then there’s Regulus, and all the knowing looks they share in silence any time barty says or does something particularly crazy. no matter what, their eyes find each other like they don’t care about what happened, only if the other one saw or if they’re thinking the same thing
