I do that!#//Nah; mans just noticed smth weird; his friend didn't see/sense it; concluded he must be psychic #//Both the teacher and his mom were Not Amused whenever he explained why he drew the things he drew #//Fast forward; the people he can most pick out from anywhere; even out of water are Midoriya and Kaminari #//Kami obvi bc he is practically a walking electrical current #//Which is good; bc Kiri liks having eyes on him All The Time; and like this; he can always know where he is and what he do without looking #//Midoriya; unwittingly bc if the vestiges and OFA #//He doesn't know what's up; he just knows Midoriya screams MASSIVE energy and danger #//Esp when OFA is thrumming and being used in more and more capacity #//But he loves it #//Loves it LOTS when Deku uses OFA near him and makes his survival instincts go haywire #//Can get a sensory overload if he sticks too close and is with him for too long; but he likes that too #//Tsu is easier to distinguish than most others too #//She more water than most of them #//But yeah; Kami and Deku? He can track 'em down p easy #//Though it might be a little trickier in a super busy super urban area or if there's a massive generator of electricity nearby #//Too much of that muddles him up #//Which is why he tends to get headaches a lot; both bc Quirk and bc of that sense #//He can pick people out if he focuses/zeroes in on who he wants to find but the incessant buzzing of man-made electricity is Oof #//It made him real irritable as a child and he got used to it over time; but boy oh boy he Does Not like when that threshold is pushed #//Save when Midoriya does it; he'll happily indulge simply bc it him. And he gets too starry eyed to care he's being overwhelmed #//& Kami; but he might wince through his ultmoves. though hardening does take the edge off; in combat is fine

y’all just— thinking about how excited Stanley must have been to host the twins— Alex says he smokes cigars but he doesn’t smoke once in the show— has a beer gut but he only drinks sodas in front of the kids— doesn’t swear when they’re around which must have taken INCREDIBLE effort— Stanley Pines, known crook, buying pancake mix at the supermarket and many bottles of syrup— learning to cook basic healthy meals and burning so many of them before he gets it right— buying new sheets, new mattresses— avoiding bunk beds because it reminds him of Ford— looking at the attic room he made wondering “is this enough will they like me”— trying to act aloof at the bus stop so he doesn’t betray the fact that he was there hours early— watching them goof around and thinking of New Jersey beaches— then the first night they’re there, he watches them debate running away and only stay because Mabel shook a magic 8 ball. That must have kept him awake all night.

#stanley isn’t perfect but the fact that he made tangible efforts to be a better guardian just makes me ache so much #he has so much love inside him and it had nowhere to go until the twins came #man. Currently thinking about how much Ford tries to hide his hands a lot when he can…behind his back with this stance. Due to how often he’s been bullied for it.

And also, how Mabel is one of the ones who Ford feels happy about showing his hands to because she thought they were cool looking upon first shaking his hand, instead of him being judged for his six fingers.

Sure have!#I forgot how long it takes for Chimera Falin to come into play.#I still really love my 'better drawn' art of her - unfortunately it was several weeks too early for the anime only folks.#Slowly getting the hang of drawing Laios. I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere.#Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios.#The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*.#This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those.#Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human.#Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her.#She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist.#The damsel was the dragon all along!#...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.

I could think of no better way to share the news than this!

So when I was 17, my cat went missing and I'd given up hope of ever seeing him again.

Until on Monday, 27th of May, 2024, my friend sent me a FB post asking 'isn't that your mother?' about the person named on the microchip.

Here he is! 16 years old, and found safe, twelve whole years after he went missing!

Yesterday (Tuesday the 28th of May, 2024) I went to the rescue that had him, and I reclaimed my boy, renaming him Artie! (He'd originally been called 'Cat' because my mother and I couldn't decide on a name)

He's home safe with me now, currently inhabiting my bathroom and purring up a storm every time someone goes in there!

I'll be doing slow introductions between him and my current cat to give them the best possible chance of living in harmony!

Apparently the local university’s undergraduate entomology course sends students to catch insect specimens at the same place I like to go birdwatching, which explains why I saw three enormous frat looking dudes with tiny bug nets and overheard one emphatically say “bro BRO I told you we already have enough lepidopterans”

#I told my brother (in the ag field) this and he said ‘oh those are definitely turf bros’#apparently entomology is a required course if you want to specialize in golf course management which I guess is a career that some desire #and there is some Westside story type beef between the turf bros taking entomology for pest control reasons and future PHDs who love bugs #actually chatted with them later they were very lovely
