Perhaps in another life, had they met earlier, Ara could have been Annie’s sister in all but blood- Choi Yuri, though a sickly woman, would have taken one look at her and considered Jung Ara her third daughter. Taken her in and told her all the things Jung Danbi had said about her weren't true. Not at all. Not that words alone have helped her, not that words of any kind would change the past now. But would it have made a difference for a younger Ara back then though, Annie wonders- could it have curbed the darkness, lighting the way for Ara?

“My…light?” Annie utters lightly, too lightly, with the voice of a wisp between the two of them. Did she even have one in the first place- unlike Ara, Annie wasn’t looking to change the world. She was never looking to be a revolutionary because she would have been content with working as a surgeon. Helping people. Giving Umma the financial stability and love she deserved all those years ago.

But life doesn’t discriminate does it? Neither does death. It didn’t matter if Annie was a stellar student, a promising surgeon on par with the rich medical students who expected their licenses and the title of general surgeon handed to them like the ivory spoons they already had. It didn’t matter if she had no intention of breaking any protocols and had no intention of making any waves. She only survived out of sheer luck, only survived in place of Havel because he had tackled their attackers, yelling for her to run. She only survived the water because Ga-ram happened to notice the air bubbles while passing by.

( It would have been better that way, she does not admit. Drowning. At least her head wouldn’t be so loud with the water in her ears. )

 She flinches involuntarily under Ara’s fingers, firm but warm, even though logically it makes no sense to do so. Annie knows vaguely of the blades and claws Ara unleashes, but she’s never seen them herself, let alone Ara in combat- Annie has only witnessed the aftermath. She sniffles, hands tightly wound around fresh bandages for Ara’s wound now. If they are the only anchor keeping Annie from covering her ears and drowning out anything and everything ( how strange that blades sinking into flesh and bone could be so loud- maybe that’s why they kept going, chopping Havel down piece by piece until it was only his head, the rest of his body in ripped into cubes and shapes with uneven and rigged edges- ). That was the only way to survive back then- if she couldn’t hear their voices, what they were saying about her, they couldn’t do anything to her, she could be safe or at least something like safe.

But Ara speaks and like an animal coaxed out of the den, Annie peers up between to wet bangs and maybe, Ara sees hollow eyes, but something small, something still alive if only by the skin of its teeth, peeks through. Ara speaks of ‘not right’ and the reds and madness so loud that not even the silencers can mute the voices- is that even possible? Even if people like Annie, mad people who they call no good, no good for anyone could band together, who’s to say that even if they could be heard, they would be believed? It feels like a pipe dream, this future Ara speaks firmly of as if it is an inevitability. Hands loosen around the bandages. And what feels even more like an impossibility is-

“Make them pay?” Annie repeats softly, carefully.

An option that Annie had never considered before. But perhaps that is why Ara turned to her life as it is right now- if the law would not give the people the justice or the mercy they need, then the people would have to take it for themselves. And if the law called them ‘criminals’ for it, revenge-seeking mongrels, well, the law only had itself to blame, didn’t it?

Revenge is only a darker shade of justice.

Something new creeps into Annie’s eyes. Is it hope? Or is it craving for revenge? Annie can’t tell. The color of god never made its hue all that obvious.

MHA chapter 430

Finally the last chapter has arrived and ... Well it's underwhelming at best.

I already knew I wasn't going to like this chapter considering how things went in previous arcs but I just feel underwhelmed and indifferent.

So Izuku loses his quirk and then becomes a quirkless hero. I don't know this seems so.... Underwhelming no that's not the word so bleak, gloomy and sad?!?! I also hate the concept of iron Izuku with a passion!!!

Ochako starts a new quirk counselling campaign. This is good but it took that long?!?! I guess hawks was incompetent

All might and izuku parallels/foils will be forever going and I love that izuku used his analysis skills for the kid and I suppose hori tried to go with everyone can be a hero one way or another because the title of a hero isn't just based on the job heroics but how someone helps and saves people but I think that failed in execution.

I sense a change to momo's costume design. I like it

Wait didn't shigaraki say he wanted to destroy everything??!? Shigaraki's goal never actually developed into a proper one where he wanted to destroy society and the aspects that hurt him. Well it kinda of did since he wanted to kill all might/destroy the pillar of society but that wouldn't cure the corruption and all that hurt others and shigaraki so why is Hori using it as a way to make it like shigaraki destroyed and izuku rebuilt?!?!

I've been thinking about a potential ghost x deity Liujiu story set in the PIDW verse post canon (and post Bingge & Bingmei extra) where, with the combined power of a ghost's desire for revenge and a deity's desire to make the world better, they essentially manage to actually improve the PIDW world.

Shen Jiu is still (if barely) alive in the water prison and he realises ✨all his mistakes✨ and for him that leap is so great that he straight up ascends, while Liu Qingge, having been close to but not yet at the nascent soul stage, survived the Lingxi Caves as a ghost but not one strong enough to do anything. He has to cultivate it first and he does so watching the world go to shit so he gets pretty angry. Meanwhile, SJ kind of has to piece his mental health back together so his form outside of the heavenly realm is pretty weak too. I forgot if Bingge merged the heavenly realm in too but in this story it would still be separate.

So these two meet and become cute little friends in their weakened forms at first and as they grow stronger and closer together, they kind of help people and that's SJ's redemption arc, while their suffering causes LQG to become further corrupted through righteous anger and hence stronger as a ghost. Somehow this makes them a perfect duo whose influence Saves The World.

My Transformers One thoughts!!!

✨Spoiler free✨

Holy moly this movie was just so…WOW!!! Before I start with my thoughts, I would like for y’all to know that I’ve never been this hyped for a movie in a long time! I was so excited I was shaking from excitement that my family kept asking if I was okay! 😂

Ok now to my thoughts. First off, I just want to mention how good the voice acting was. Chris Hemsworth did such a phenomenal job as Orion Pax, later Optimus Prime. Whenever his character gave a speech, I was crying because of how amazing and inspiring it was. And Orion in general was just so adorable and fun to watch! Now Brians voice acting was spine chilling! His decent from good friend who sticks to protocols to becoming the revenge seeking Megatron just flowed ever so nicely! The writers did an incredible job with his villain arc. Plus, Brians voice acting just made it even more incredible! And Michael Keegan as Bumblebee was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! My mom loved him she thought he was so funny! He was kinda, sweet and always willing to help his friends. The chemistry that Optimus and Elita have with each other was *chefs kiss* you can tell she really cared for him throughout the whole movie! Everyone’s chemistry with each other was amazing!!! Every single character had such well done chemistry with the others, showing the good writing in this movie!

Now the music and animation, was OFF THE CHARTS. They both flowed so well together. The music made me feel so teary eyed because of how beautiful was! It made you really feel in the moment. And the animation was absolutely STUNNING! Seriously yall, shoutout to all the animators for doing such an amazing job with the animation style. It was just so incredible. So if you are really into animation and/or music definitely check this movie out!!

And finally the plot in this film. I swear this plot is absolutely heartbreaking in this movie. So many moments that make you feel. The friendship bond between Orion Pax and D-16 to the long known enemies Optimus Prime and Megatron was simply so sad to watch. And it really makes you feel hooked to the story watching D-16 going through his good guy to bad guy transformation. It really makes you feel for the guy. There were also so many dark moments too which was pretty shocking but honestly pretty valid for the story and I like how they didn’t try to shy away from all that. The writers really embraced it, show the horrors and the reality of war, corruption and betrayal. Honestly, I haven’t been this hooked on a plot for a movie in a long long time!

I had so much fun watching this movie. It made me feel like a little kid again, getting excited about a movie and what will happen and why the characters change. Seriously shoutout to everyone person who worked in this movie yall did an amazing job! I’m really considering watching this movie because of how good this movie was. 10/10 movie rating for me. I definitely recommend yall to watch this amazing movie, it has such amazing characters as well as a really good lesson from this movie! I can’t wait for more of this Transformers story! I had a really good time! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Charlie's corruption arc ✨😈

aka Broken Crown AU inspired by this post because I’ve been thinking about it intensively. So, I believe Charlie's villain arc would start with a great feeling of relief. Imagine: it's been a week since the final battle; it's been a week when Charlie hasn't been able to sleep at night. Others think she's still grieving, but the truth is different. Every night, Charlie cannot fall asleep because she's trying to cope with the relief she felt the second Adam died. She was the one who at first stopped Lucifer from finishing him, just because killing Adam didn't seem right. But when Niffty actually did it, despite everything, it felt right. It felt good.

After weeks (months?) of looking for a way to stop Adam from committing genocide against her people, after being bullied and humiliated by him, after witnessing how an unjust system enabled his despicable actions while ruthlessly punishing others for far lesser crimes, she finally, for the first time, felt like she had any agency. Just like that, her loved ones were finally safe. They could all breathe again, and all it took was a small act of violence against the person who fully deserved it. This realization changes her. While she doesn't intend to do such things in the future, she can no longer deny that exercising brutal power can be the best solution when dealing with certain kinds of people. This is the very first thing she hides from Vaggie. Not because she's scared of her judgment but because these ideas are so against her own moral values it is simply scary to put them into words.

Maybe I would be capable of killing someone in cold blood. Maybe I'll have to do it one day.

But Adam's dead, so they are safe, right? And she won't ever have to make a choice like that again. That's some reassurance.

And then, Niffty is killed by Lute. Just like that—Lute teleports to Hell by night and slaughters her in revenge because why wouldn't she? Who would have stopped her?

It obviously hits everyone hard—they just lost another friend. But Alastor? Alastor loses his fucking mind. He goes completely feral, yelling at Charlie and blaming her for everything.

What kind of incompetent fool shows their enemy mercy and lets them live long enough to get vengeance? I cannot believe I thought you could be a competent leader. You are just a fucking child. You are all a bunch of idiots.

Charlie goes through a complete meltdown because she knows he's right. If she had the guts to finish Lute or at least asked Vaggie or Lucifer to do so, Niffty would be alive. She's crying, choking on tears; she feels like a hopeless failure, but Alastor does not give her a break. He seems so infuriated she thinks he would kill her. Fortunately, Lucifer and Vaggie intervene. Lucifer puts Alastor back in his place by essentially beating the shit out of him. Vaggie takes Charlie out to calm her down. She insists that if it's anyone's fault, it's hers because she was the one who spared Lute, but Charlie knows that it's a lie. Vaggie would have killed Lute if not for Charlie's convictions. She fails, and she fails all over again, and it seems like she can't escape the evil. It's her responsibility to face it on equal terms. Otherwise, she won't be able to protect her loved ones.

After this incident, both Lucifer and Vaggie insist on kicking Alastor out of the hotel. He's too dangerous, too unpredictable. We can't allow him to treat you like this. We don't even need him anymore; there's nothing an Overlord can do that the King of Hell can't.

But that's not the truth. There's something Alastor can do that Lucifer can't: play the game. And now, grieving another of her friends, Charlie realizes she needs a teacher if she wants to stop pieces.

I have like 0 time to write the proper fic but I had to get these out of my system because holy shit I love coming up with elaborate plots I'm not able to execute. Maybe talking about it will somehow scratch the itch.

She uses one to fight and kill the Witch King of Angmar, whom "no man can kill"; I mean, come on. She's kinda The Live Action Sword Woman. "I am no man." is an instantly iconic line and Miranda Otto is an incredible actress and played the role perfectly.

Uma meets CJ while on the run

CJ is like thirteen and absolutely convinced that her older brother and Uma are in love. She's also a major menace to society

They also pick up Arabella of Atlantica. Who should be also thirteen or so for the purposes of this fic. A bit of a menace with a tiny bit of a corruption arc.

But she's very easily convinced by CJ that there's True Love going on

So Uma just has two menaces chatting about her future wedding 24/7 while discussing increasingly unhinged plans to overthrow the government. But, y'know. Uma's love life takes priority.

Uma loses her nerves within two weeks at most

And (with Arabella's help) steals the trident. Which allows them to slip on the Isle.

Cue Huma reunion, Hook siblings reunion, and Arabella who now gets to be a menace to society in previously unapproachable ways

(Ehm, she CJ and Helena Sinclair playing matchmakers for as many Isle kids as possible)

And then Uma gets the Isle kids on the ships & not actively murdering and hurting eachother (unless it's consensual tho) and they sail off to the sunset ✨✨

And no one in Auradon knows because they're still trying to see a sea witch underwater. From land. And expecting to succeed.

That's because, well...Nightmare is related to the moon, and Fell is related to the color red, so...I think you get the idea-

Well, I think their dynamic would be...interesting.

They both really suffered enough, especially in a place where monsters keep killing each other.

And Nightmare has suffered several times from the residents of the village where he lived.

And unlike Fell, he managed to get himself out of this problem, and now he can do whatever he wants.

I really don't imagine the two of them being morally right in this relationship. I imagine more Nightmare and Fell sharing the shit in life, and Fell ending up having the ✨bastarlization arc✨ (not that he isn't a bastard already, but anyway-).

Anyway, I imagine Nightmare wanting more minions for himself, because he needed more allies, right?

So why not find an ally in an au corrupted by evil and monsters are already bad in themselves?

I feel like Nightmare would pull that polite bastard on Fell, and he'd try to convince him to join the Bad Guys.

Fell would find the name stupid, but he would enter, as he no longer had hope in that world, so much so that even his own brother became corrupted.

And well, they would maybe geek out a little about books and space, since Fell is still a Sans, so he would like astronomy, Fell would tease Nightmare with puns and knock knock jokes, they would both end up with some ass, they would have conversations like:

Fell: I feel like dying now

Nightmare: Same

And well, they would basically be depressive idiots evil bastards in love.

Fell would certainly have his strange habits, like drinking mustard and other condiments.

And Nightmare, since he's a "gentleman", would find that strange and disgusting.

And in the end, Nightmare would fill up on hot dogs and other junk that had already passed its expiration date with Fell 👍

Micheals arc through the entire story can honestly get pretty depressing at times haha. He starts the story as a sixteen year old kid who has, granted, had a difficult life but still tries to be positive and see the crappy city he lives in and the world with rose tinted glasses. But after becoming a hero he realizes just how horrible and corrupt his home is and after seeing the worst in humanity he has to make sure he can do everything necessary to 'save his city' while also trying to not lose his morality.

No One would be wild, psycho, watching, random, obsessive.
