Oh, like, different teas I like to make? Okay! :D

🍍Pineapple Tea🍍

The way I do it is really simple:

Buy a giant jug of already-made tea (I like gold peak!)

Buy a carton of pineapple juice

Freeze the juice into cubes, pour a little of it in the tea for extra flavor

And that's it. That's aaaall you gotta do.

There's all kindsa ways you can dress it up, but nine times out of ten I just do this and drink it by the gallon when it's hot out.

If you wanna get fancy with it, feel free to cold brew your own black (or green) tea, add actual hunks of pineapple fruit in there, add some orange juice, add some honey, add some coconut milk or sweetened condensed milk, whatever sounds good! (Also, pairing pineapple tea with coconut cookies? SO GOOD.) Put mint in the pineapple cubes if you like mint! Add a bit of boiled ginger root or some brown sugar and cinnamon for a little kick! Heck, last summer I used blue peaflower star-shaped ice cubes just because they were pretty.

(Peaflower petals don't taste like much, but they make a GORGEOUS blue, and if you put something acidic in there like lemon juice IT TURNS PINK. :D)

🍓Strawberry Tea🍓

I find this stuff sort of difficult to find where I live, so often I go the same route as the pineapple tea: grab a jug of black tea, grab a jug of strawberry juice, (ocean spray has a really nice cran-strawberry one I like) freeze the juice, mix, and enjoy. Super simple.

If I can't find strawberry juice, I dice some strawberries up and put it in a jar with some water and a bit of sugar for a few hours, then add *that* to the tea. (heck, it's really nice all by itself!)

What goes with strawberry? ANY DANG THING YOU WANT. I am particularly fond of lychee. Jasmine tea and rose petals pair really well with it too. Again, if you like mint, it's *really* nice with strawberry. And you know how if you put black pepper on strawberries they taste even strawberrier? (If you haven't tried this, go do it, it's magic.) Same goes with the tea, add some peppercorns or a teeny bit of chili powder or some ginger.

If you wanna drink it hot or cold brew a batch of your own, here are some brands that are also nice:

1. Strawberry Sensation

2. Adagio Strawberry Tea (this is also where I got the peaflower petals)

3. Any of Lupicia's Strawberry Teas they are HEAVENLY

🍏Apple Tea🍏

As with the pineapple and strawberry teas, it's totally fine to just go find some ready-made tea and mix it with some apple cider or apple juice for tasty low spoons fun. If you drink it iced, a bit of sugar and lemon juice brings out the apple flavor nicely!

I prefer drinking this stuff hot though. You know that Fall Drink post that was floating around? IF YOU HAVEN'T YET, TRY IT, IT'S AWESOME.

☕Chai Tea☕

So here's the thing about chai for me personally: I don't tend to drink it iced or sugary, but if you do like it iced and sugary, there are a couple of really nice chai tea concentrates:

Oregon Chai Latte

Tazo's Chai Latte (Forget the "skinny" nonsense, I just wanted to include an option with no milk so you can add whatever you want to it)

Pacific Chai isn't concentrated, but you can use it to make hot or iced chai and it's really lovely, not too sweet and super easy to work with. As for dressing up chai, I don't tend to! There's already so much going on with all the flavors, I just drink it as-is most days. Play with milk-to-tea ratios or sugar amounts all you like, figure out what's your jam.

I do know that mixing chai and coffee together (or chai and chocolate together) is guaranteed to make a feeling groovy kind of morning, at least if you have two thumbs and you're me. Iiii think that's all the tea blather I can think of for right now. Thank you for asking, anon, it was fun! Anybody reading this, feel free to add your own favorite things to do with tea. :D

🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction?

As a teen I was a voracious reader and tried to write my own stuff based on other books I'd read. I also loved ST:TNG and wanted dearly to be in an episode and had lots of the books. I wrote my own ST stories with OC's (gratuitous self inserts), but they never went anywhere. In my late teens I read some Xena fanfic on the internet. But that was it for a great number of years.

At the beginning of 2021 I sat and watched the entirety of the MCU films in chronological order (I'd seen most of them before and was mainly a Thor gal.) I fell down the Stucky rabbithole. Deep. I decided to look up fanfic. AO3 was now a thing! I wrote (a very poor) Stucky fic and here we are, almost 3 years later

🍇How many fandoms have you written in?

As my ST stuff never made it further than my parent's old PC in the days of dial-up, I won't count it.

I've written for MCU, various Chris Evans and Seb Stan Characters and one fic for RWRB. I've been toying with writing a one-off Criminal Minds fic as a gift for a friend.

🍈How many years have you been writing fanfiction?

Three in July since I first published anything on AO3.

🍎Do you read or write more fanfiction?

I try to balance it out. If I have a period of hyperfocus writing I try to then go through a period of reading. I read on both Tumblr and AO3, so try to keep that even as well.

🍌What is one way you've improved as a writer?

Getting betas to pick me up on tense changes, overuse of words and rogue commas. Reading more. Practising. Writing outlines for longer stories so I don't go off-piste.

🍑Do you have any bad habits as a writer?

Getting bored half-way through a long fic, especially if the first few parts haven't had a lot of interaction. Which is why I try to write the whole thing before I start posting.

🍍 What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Engineering courses at MIT and, for a separate fic, Violet wands, including the ways to use them and the differnt types of accessories you can use with them. I even watched a Youtube video.

🍉What's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

Any comment! Anything that gives me the validation I need!

🍐What's the most fringe trope/topic you write about?

I wrote a transformation into Tsum-tsum fic that was both cracky and smutty. That's pretty niche.

🥭What is the hardest type of story for you to write?

Action scenes. I loathe them. I'm constantly wondering if they are long enough, and make sense.

🍏What is the easiest type?

Short things that are either PWP or fluffy slices of life.

🍑Where do you do your writing? What platform? When?

Mainly on my elderly laptop on G-Docs, and in every moment I can - normally afterwork before dinner and on Mondays when I don't have work.

🍋What is something you've been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?

There are a few characters and ships I haven't written that I'd like to. And I suppose I'd like to write a proper long, over 100k fic at some point.

When I made my AO3 account I felt as though that at 40, and only really starting in Fandom in this way, I was late to the party, so that is who I became.

♠️ Deuce Spade ♠️

Deuce nearly had a heart attack when he saw a little girl sitting on his bed.

She was about 8, young enough to be curious, but old enough to have manners.

When he walked in the room, her eyes lit up and she hopped off the bed, running to hug Deuce around the waist.

"Daddy! I'm so happy to see you!"

*insert blue screens*

"I've been waiting for you so long! This place is weird. I saw Unca Ace earlier and he didn't even say hi back!"

"How... Sorry, who are you?" Deuce managed to ask through his confusion. The girl seemed to know Ace but she wasn't familiar to Deuce at all.

The little girl cleared her throat as if she had been rehearsing her answer.

"Nina Eloise Spade."

She beamed at him when she finished recording her name. After a few seconds, she whispered in his ear.

"Did I do good, daddy?"

"Uh, yes you did very good. So you are..."

"Daddy's so forgetful! I'm your daughter, silly!"

She giggled and hid her face in his stomach.

Deuce was really confused, so he did what he normally would do when he was in an odd situation.

He went to you.

When you opened the door to Ramshackle, the last thing you expected was a child to stroll right in and make herself at home.

She sat down on the couch, swinging her legs while you and Deuce looked on in shock.

"Mummy, can I please have some apple slices?"

You smiled awkwardly and rubbed the back of your neck.

"I'm sorry, I don't know where your Mummy is, but I can get you a snack?"

"You're all being silly today! My mummy is right there!"

She pointed at you with a little finger and a goofy smile.

It took you a moment, but you remembered this trope from novels back home. It never occured to you that something this outlandish would ever actually happen, even in this crazy, twisted world.

"We're your parents?"

You gestured to you and Deuce and the girl nodded vigorously.

You looked at Deuce incredulously before realizing the implications.

Both of you turned away as quickly as you could.

You went to Crowley and he was much more inclined to help get the child home than he ever was to help you.

Over the next few days, Deuce's parents instincts kicked in.

He doted on Nina so much, giving her everything she needed.

He figured there was nothing wrong with spoiling her while she was only there for a little while.

He read her stories every night and tucked her in, never forgetting the goodnight kiss that she begged for.

It was sad when she finally had to leave but Deuce was reassured by the fact that he would see her again someday.

Now his only problem was figuring out how to get there.

🍏 Epel Felmier 🍏

Epel was in for a big surprise when a young boy practically ambushed him on the way to magishift practice.

The boy kept at him and clung to his torso until an older girl pried him off.

She wrangled the boy and held him in her arms, smiling sympathetically at Epel.

"Milo, quit being annoying. Dad's busy."

Epel was very confused.

The older girl held the boy in her arms, bouncing him on her hip while another girl clung to the older girls sleeve.

"Papa, where are we?"

The little girl blinked up at Epel, making him even more confused.

"I don't know where your papa is but this is Night Raven College."

The girl's eyes lit up with recognition and she smiled shyly, burying deeper into the older girls side.

"I remember. Mama said papa and her used to go to school here."

Epel was a bit concerned about being late for magishift but the weird kids wandering the campus were a good enough excuse to shirk his duties.

"Who are your mama and papa? I might be able to help you find them."

"I don't know where mama is, but at least we have you, papa!"

The boy apparently named Milo chirped enthusiastically.

It was only then that Epel noticed the purple tint to each of the children's hair as well as their facial features that struck him with a startling sense of deja vu.

Of course he could never forget where he recognized their features since he spent most of his time absentmindedly thinking about you.

"Are you all related to Y/N?"

"Yeah, yeah, mama!"

He didn't know what to think about that except that you were far to young to be having children. The oldest looked about 11 and since you were in highschool, there was no possibility of you being their real mama.

"Alright, I'll take you to them, but would you tell me your names first?"

The oldest sighed and shook her head.

"I didn't know you were so old that you don't remember, papa. I'm Marta, then Charlotte, and Milo's the baby."

Epel walked them around the school to find you, Milo insisting on being carried.

He definitely got a few stares and he prayed Vil wouldn't see him but eventually, he found you.

Milo jumped right out of Epel's arms and into yours.

You were startled but the tiny arms wrapped around your neck were quite welcome.

You laughed and asked Epel who the kids were.

He explained his hunch about them looking suspiciously similar to you and him.

He figured they must have been an alchemical accident but you shooed his hypothesis away, happy to be able to play with the kids.

Marta wasn't that much younger than you and she was very bright so she noticed something was off and pointed out how they must have travelled to the past.

You made a mental note to deal with the idea of you and Epel having children together at a later date.

For now, you just played with the kids, content to blow off your responsibility as long as you had their puppy eyes.

Epel couldn't get out of quite as many things since Vil violently disliked children but he took as much time as he could to see them.

After all, Charlotte was so cute, sitting on his lap while he read to her and trying to follow along even though she couldn't read yet.

You didn't want to say goodbye but it was lovely to have a little glimpse of your and Epel's future together.

🐊 Sebek Zigvolt 🐊

Sebek was just minding his business, training as peacefully as one can with his frame of mind, when you burst into the Diasomnia dorm with two little boys chasing you with wooden swords.

He was alarmed to say the least but something about the boys was oddly familiar.

The tilt of their eyes and their chubby cheeks gave him flashbacks to his baby pictures, the only difference being their (h/c) hair that contrasted their bright green eyes.

"Sebek, meet Caspian and Theodore, our children."

His face turned bright red and he started screaming as he usually resorts to when flustered.

"I don't know what you mean to imply, human, but I can assure you that I... that we... we don't have children!"

You just shrugged, having already been briefed on the situation and already accustomed to world-changing magical events.

"I mean, not yet obviously, but the boys are from the future. Isn't that right, my babies?"

Theodore was obviously a mama's boy with his toy sword forgotten and his arms wrapped around your legs.

Caspian seemed to be a little older and emulated a more calm presence.

He was still a mama's boy obviously, but he stood straight as a board with a goofy grin on his face as you ruffled his hair.

He reminded you of a certain other rigid knight that you happened to know.

"What do you mean "the future"? I would never have children with a human?"

You gasped in offense and pulled the boys closer to you.

"How come you say such a thing in front of the children, Sebek? Cas, Theo, won't you go on and say hi to your father?"

Theo rushed over and reached up at Sebek, doing grabby hands until you urged him to pick up the little boy.

Caspian just waved and smiled before resuming his knightly posture, no doubt picked up from his father's influence.

"This is... oddly domestic."

Sebek mused as Theodore buried his face into Sebek's neck.

You smiled, already deeply attached to the boys despite having known them for about an hour.

"Just something to look forward to."

Another wave of blush was forced into Sebek's cheeks.

He was about to start screaming again when you shushed him and gestured to the boy in his arms who was apparently so tuckered out from playing that he immediately fell asleep.

As if subconsciously knowing it was right, Sebek smiled and kissed the boys forehead.

"Daddy, am I doing good? Can I be a knight now, like you"

Caspian looked up at his dad with expectant eyes, holding his toy sword at his side like a proper soldier.

"You're doing wonderfully, Cas. In a few short years, maybe you can start your knight training."

Caspian whooped in excitement before clearing his throat and forcing his smile into a serious face.

You laughed at his childish giddiness and couldn't help but loose your thoughts in a daydream of it being like this all the time.

Maybe in a few years.

🐺 Jack Howl 🐺

Jack was used to waking up early but not usually by rustling in his bed.

When he finally opened his eyes, three little girls were curled up next to him in bed.

He would've jumped away immediately if you hadn't put up your hand with a sympathetic smile.

"I'm so sorry, Jack. I tried to stop them but these mischief-makers would've broken in anyway so they might as well have some supervision."

He raised an eyebrow, the girls still huddled around him.

"And who exactly are these mischief-makers?"

You inhaled through your teeth and smiled sheepishly.

"So please don't freak out about this because it will probably freak you out. They are our daughters from the future."

Out of all the things he expected you to say, that was pretty darn low on the list.

"What?"

"This is Genesis," you gestured to one of the girls. She had white coily hair and tall ears sticking out on her head. "Aria," the second girl was clinging to Jack's arm. Her hair was (h/c) and she sported the same fluffy ears as her sister. "And finally, Luna," the third girl was just a baby. Aria cradled Luna in her arms, supporting her head while she slept.

"So I shouldn't be worried?"

"I mean, you should be a little worried but maybe wait until later in the day? They got transported here at 2 am this morning. They need a little TLC."

Jack scoffed, amazed at how you took each new strange happening in stride.

"I, uh, I'll tell Leona I can't make it to magishift practice today."

You smiled and sat down on the edge of the bed, gingerly awaiting a response.

Jack raised an eyebrow but gave in and gestured with his head for you to join the others.

You smiled, almost deviously, and took your place in the cuddle pile, holding your would-be daughters tight.

Jack sighed and brushed a hair out of Genesis' face.

She mumbled in her sleep and snuggled into his side.

He smiled, resigning to be confined in his bed for at least a couple more hours.

After all, cuddling with a bunch of fluffy wolves and his girlfriend couldn't be the worst possibility in the world.

🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)

I think I've said it several times already but writing Zora and Nebra is always a treat whether it's romantic or platonic. They are so funny.

🍍What kind of AUs do you like? Are there any AUs you hate or just generally have beef with?

I like canon divergence! Both for reading and writing, really. I also love time loop stories or time travel stories.

As for AUs I dislike... it'd be settings I don't understand or lack the knowledge to? (and where it's crucial to have that knowledge) Like some historical AUs or the Omegaverse— I've never managed to understand what was going on in the omegaverse.

🍋 What’s your favorite spicier trope to write?

fhdfhjs none. Spice isn't for me, I'm afraid. Vanilla writer 😂

🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic?

Ohhh... I like running jokes. Noelle not having a restraining spell is the only one I can think of right now. I also had a lot of fun with Neran in I'll Follow with references and cultural jokes.

🍏 Is there something you overuse, whether it’s a certain phrase, trope, or piece of punctuation?

I think I overuse italics? It was striking in the middle parts of the Soulmate AU (The Agreement, Where The Heart Is, Stargazers). I caught that upon rereading Where The Heart Is a few months ago (and edited some italics out fhdfdsj). I'm also a sucker for stream of consciousness. Love internal monologues. Will never stop.

🍈 Who’s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions.

I'd say the Silvas, although I've worked much less with Solid than the other three (I have arguably worked more with the dead OCs than him which is appalling— I'm sorry, Solid).

My favorite head canon about House Silva as a whole is that they are fundamentally seen as 'cursed' by the other two royal houses. I hc that there's only the four Silvas remaining— everyone else is dead or gone— and that's why the current Silva siblings are all so pressed about their reputation. They're alone to fend for themselves.

I think Nebra was clingy as a child. Nozel had a few hiding places in the castle and Nebra found every single one of them. The poor boy could get no peace unless Acier kept Nebra busy to get her eldest some reprieve.

Nebra is messy. She is a pacer, she is a klutz, she is constantly embarrassed by it and hides it behind the usual confident front. It also shows up in several fics of mine but she is absolutely awful at any type of paperwork she attempts on doing.

Nozel doesn't trust his siblings and I think he will tend to fix his siblings' mistakes himself without telling them he did. Especially if it involves squad work. There's also what happened after the dinner of doom in Your World.

Solid was a fussy baby and then a fussy child. Asking for one thing and then crying and yelling because he didn't want that or he wanted it before or he wanted it differently. Fussy.

All Silva siblings have a little box with things that belonged to Acier. Noelle got a few scraps like post cards Acier sent. She has spent so much time trying to copy her mother's handwriting.

Aaaand I think I'll stop here because we're going to sad territory 😂

🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.)

Mmmh... It's a tough one because I don't usually focus on what's not there or not there enough? I think the good thing about BC is that dspite having loads of characters, they're all fleshed out enough for people to get interested in them? You see fans of different characters or minor characters everywhere (so you see head canons and analyses and fics and art about those characters or ships too). So I don't think there's anything lacking or underrated.

Went on a ramble here and digressed, so I'll just answer the question. Favorite underrated thing in my fandom: Early Black Bulls fics! The chaos it must have been. (also, we thank @acacia-may for the ones she wrote, they are incredible)

I love writing D/s dynamics. Things with process and routines and deference and implicit obedience. I love writing a top that asks for autonomous control from the bottom where the bottom has to ask for things from the top. I love writing kink, in all sorts of forms - nonsexual and sexual.

Ooh, hm. I had to think on this a minute. I like subverting expectations. I like taking tropes and turning them on their head. I like characterizations that go deeper than the surface and they reveal how human the characters are. I don’t know what that tag is, tbh. 😅 (I’m also blanking on tags I’d use on my pieces, so…uh, have that I guess.) 😂

Price comes from a family of veterans. He’s a legacy soldier, determined to prove himself in comparison to his extended family.

Johnny will always have some sibling, it just depends on what’s useful to the story. Gender and age varies, but he has at least one family member he vibes with a lot.

Gaz sometimes has a twin (identical/fraternal/paternal varies), or at least one sibling. Someone in the immediate Garrick family is not straight.

Ghost often has a hobby that’s very nature oriented - birdwatching, rockhounding, wild plant foraging, etc. He needs something to do to ground himself when things go topsy.

🙇 - A headcanon about Luffy

This ties into some of my larger worldbuilding HCs but I headcanon that Luffy is very solidly bilingual and it trips a lot of people up when they realize. More specifically he speaks the most common East Blue language (most common language in the world/what most papers are printed in, just the East Blue version with all the little nuances) and the native Goan language.

Most of the crew found out in Alabasta when Ace showed up and he and Luffy reverted to it on a few occasions, but everyone else just kinda. found out along the way. Because she didn't grow up anywhere near the East Blue Robin would love to sit Luffy down and learn it from him/teach him her native language, but so far that idea hasn't been very feasible.

👌 - Fave character design?

My goodness y'all gotta stop asking me this it's not fair there are so many good designs objectively AND subjectively.

Like i would say pretty much all of Oda's main characters are very recognizable on their own, which is already 40% of a good character design. Not to mention all the little quirks he's not afraid to do like Buggy's nose and whatever the hell Kid has going on.

And then subjectively speaking I've already talked about how Makino's aesthetic has literally become my aesthetic. And beyond that I genuinely don't care much?? like these blorbos are all so wonderful and there's really not a bad design. No not even post-ts Franky.

I love them all.

🆚 - Sub or dub?

Dub. ADHD clashes with sub and I can have the dub on in the background while I do other things (a blessing considering how long OP is). And it's not a bad dub either, they voice actors really care and there's a lot of genuine emotion and distinctiveness.

Again that's being said dub!Doffy haunts my nightmares. what did they DO TO HIM

⏰ - How long have you been into One Piece?

Almost 5 years, and man does that feel old to say. I started getting into it at 14 and it never really left. I always kinda *knew* it was there because it's So Darn Big, but it wasn't until i was bored one day that I finally watched the Return to Sabaody arc in a single sitting and immediately went and watched episode 1.

And the rest is history.

🍏 - Would you eat a Devil Fruit if you had the chance to?

Yep! I'm not big on swimming and honestly there are very few ways this could go wrong unless i get stuck with something dumb like the human-human fruit. But I'll take my chances.

grace there are 1200 episodes i can hardly remember the general areas where arcs where how am i supposed to remember individual episodes

but how about the episode that convinced 14 y/o me that this whole journey was worth it, and for me that would be episode 25/26 (don't remember which one exactly lol)

🏝 - Fave country/island visited?

I will ALWAYS have a soft spot for Water 7 because that's when I really felt like an "official" fan, but in all honestly Sabaody is my favorite place. 11/10 would visit if the human trafficking rate would go down.

A drunken night🍺

Synopsis: Y/n spends a night inside the pearl at a party when she investigates the navigations.

Warning: none

It was the stroke of nine at night; the black pearl was settled with lights illuminating the cabin. Laughter filled the cabin from the two wenches beside Jack Sparrow: one with blonde and the other with red hair. The two women drank and laughed as Jack whispered sweet nothings to them. Seating in front of them was a woman wearing a golden white gown with full skirtings and hair done in a la pouffe. Jack had planned a little shindig to celebrate his latest find on a coffer full of gold and jewels. The young woman sat awkwardly while the two wenches caressed Jack’s face. Jack smiled, introducing the two wenches he got from Tortuga. “This ere’s Scarlett, and this ere’s Giselle”.

The two women were undoubtedly different from what she saw at the ports of London; most would be appalled to be touched on the chest or neck. “It’s a pleasure to meet your acquaintance’s ladies; I’m certain Sparrow’s lucky to have friends like you” Y/n smiled politely. Giselle glanced at the young woman commenting, “You’s looks a bit young to be in this place”. Y/n took a slight offence to that comment. Was she really that young? “I can assure you I’m of age, “ she said quietly. Scarlett and Giselle grabbed another bottle of rum; the two ladies giggled and leaned into Jack’s hold.

Giselle giggled and asked, “Where’s you from anyways, love? Did Jack pick ya up from Tortuga” Scarlett commented, “Bit plain-faced isn’t she”. Y/n didn’t understand the goals of these two wenches or even why they would follow someone like Jack Sparrow, who only valued the pearl and freedom. “how’s about another round of rum, eh?” Jack suggested.

“My father was a merchant; he was a sailor from the ports of London”, Y/n explained. For most of her childhood, it revolved around books of naval vessels, the function of a ship, the sails, the types of riggings, the positions, navigations, and the routes. Ships had always fascinated the young woman, unlike others that wished to become a lady, noble or, at most, a housewife. Y/n fancied the naval boats; most women thought it rather tedious. Y/n had kept documents and old journals from old sailors that explored the seas; the exciting part is that most note the case of the black pearl. The infamous ship was faster at sea; even mentioning the name would send many shivers and fascinate them. Y/n had an instead, not so rather excellent encounter when first boarding the black pearl. It always starts with a kidnapped lass from a sinking ship caused by pirates; at least Jack Sparrow had ‘saved’ her. “I used to study the routes of naval history and sailing as a child,” Y/n told them; perhaps these two knew of Jack’s adventures and his ship. Alas, they did not.

“Study ships? Sounds a bit boring, don’t it” Giselle admitted. “See, if I was young like you, I wouldn’t be dreamin’ bout some fancy boat; I would be dreamin’ about catching me fancy with a dashing captain” She looked at Jack dreamily.

The thought of settling down with a drunken captain as a wench made y/n flinch with disgust. “I would much rather read than catch myself of ill repute with a grog-blossomed buccaneer”.

“I assume Jack’s ‘teachings’ involve rum,” y/n thought correctly.

“Come now, lass, I’m sure they’s didn’t mean ta make ya hang yer jib, ere’ ave some rum”, Master Gibbs had been sitting at the front of the black wooden dining table. He held out the bottle toward the young woman.

“See here, sweetheart, there’s a thin or two you can learn from Jackie” Scarlett smiled in a flirtatious manner toward Jack.

Jack swallowed the liquor and agreed, “Aye, y/n darlin’, I’ll teach ya sometime”.

Scarlett excitedly asked, “Jackie, aren’t-chou going to tell er’ o’ you getting hitched”.

Y/n’s eyes widened with astonishment. Is Jack Sparrow getting married? Indeed, Jack was chaotic and unpredictable, but getting married? This was news to her, even to Master Gibbs. “You’re getting married?” y/n said in disbelief. The young woman pointed a finger toward Scarlett and Giselle, the two suspects. “And which one did he propose to”.

“Well…” Before Jack could finish his sentence, both the women stood up in sync and said, “ME!”. The two turned to each other in a confused state, looking at their ring, the same encrusted jewelled red stone. Giselle gasped with the realisation that the two women had been played. Giselle and Scarlett both turned to Jack with angry expressions. Jack awkwardly replied, “Bit of a mystery, innit”. At first, Giselle slapped Jack across the face, and Scarlett followed suit, both wenches leaving the docked pearl in annoyance.

Y/n secretly smiled at the karma played with the wenches; she sat up from her seat and ventured outside the dining cabin to find the other captain, no, not Sparrow, Barbossa. Jack and Barbossa had made an accord for sharing the pearl, only for the time being until Hector steals it. When Captain Barbossa captured y/n, she learnt many things from him, her knowledge of piracy and the vast navigations to the briny deep. Y/n had managed to impress the captain; she used her knowledge from studying in the past to get her way around the ship. Hector hadn’t met many women that were into sailing, well, aside from Mrs Turner. At night, y/n would stay up looking at maps and documents to navigate the ship to a port; of course, Hector would poke fun at the girl’s knowledge.

Captain Barbossa stood at the front of the forecastle’s deck, looking above at the stars. Y/n climbed the steps to approach the captain curiously; she placed both hands behind her back formally, saying, “Quiet night is it not?”.

“An’ by Quiet, ya mean Sparrah and his wenches ain’t out ere”, Barbossa sarcastically answered back.

Y/n observed the ship’s sail, and putting her knowledge of navigation to use, she tried to figure out the direction they would first head off for Pirates Cove. “Captain, if we’re set to sail toward the direction of pirates cove, then—” the young woman pointed toward the East “, I believe the ship’s direction would be in the constellation of Sirius”.

“So, we would sail east”, Y/n confidently pointed out. That was until Hector smiled for a moment making the girl think she was correct, but he pointed with his finger toward the other direction, “North, yer facin’ east, ye need ta face north toward port”.

“Whatever, I was close anyways” Y/n placed a hand on her forehead, annoyed. She was still getting used to using the constellations on a map instead of a compass. Captains were more competent because they knew more about the maps than just a regular landlubber; direction, coordination, longitude and latitude, constellation and, of course, the ways to go about it. Barbossa was more intelligent than any other captain; aside from Sparrow, he memorised the map and was an expert in sailing. Y/n only knew the general knowledge of how to read maps and use the tools necessary; however, there was more to it, and it was clear she still had a lot to learn.

The captain smirked with a sarcastic expression. “Oh~, “Close” were ye”.

“Aye, captain, I was”, Y/n spoke back.

“Well than, Miss’s Highness”, he turned to y/n and bowed, holding out his hand “, I’ll reward yer fer yer efforts”.

Hector held his hand out; y/n was curious if this was some trick compared to when they first met. She was taught a lot about survival thanks to being surrounded by pirates. Hector held the young woman’s hand and pulled her hand gently toward him when it touched his rough lips. His lips against her palm felt rough yet soft simultaneously; his beard felt scraggly against her skin. Y/n felt rather bashful but smiled in politeness. However, her face soon turned to a frown when she realised he wasn’t kidding around in a friendly manner; in fact, his other hand trailed up to reach her cheek. He lightly used one finger to touch the young woman’s chin, she stared in confusion, but he leaned forward, pressing his lips on the young woman’s mouth. The lips of the man were rougher and patchier; his beard felt scratchy when it touched her chin. He didn’t stop, though; the kiss sooner turned from a soft one to an utterly passionate embrace. Had the young woman known he felt this way about her; she would’ve said something sooner. Her emotions ran from excitement, confusion, stun, shock, and bewilderment. The captain stroked y/n’s chin as she closed her eyes and placed her arm around his head. The sound of the gentle current brushing against the bottom of the ship. It was a relatively peaceful sound, taking her mind off what was happening now. To anyone seeing this, it wouldn’t be a pretty sight; a young woman kissing a man that’s not got the looks of Sparrow is somewhat uncomfortable to the naked eye. Y/n heard something in the distance; her eyes turned to a figure resembling Jack Sparrow!

“What a hideous sight to see”, He cringed, twitching his lips in disgust.

Y/n pulled away in embarrassment; she covered her face when Jack sat offensively, watching them. Barbossa rolled his eyes and grabbed his flintlock pistol; he aimed it at Jack as he shot it. Y/n flinched; luckily, the bullet only just missed Jack. “Oi, watch where you aim, could’ve killed me”.

“I’ll do tha deed if ye say one more word Jack” Hector shouted.

“I would’ve preferred the sight of you in that hideous wig than that”, Jack gagged. “Question—How can you handle putting your lips on something like that” He pointed toward Hector. Barbossa pulled the trigger again and let off another shot, this time towards Jack’s hat. “Would yarr like ta’ lose that tongue of yer’s Sparrah” Barbossa shouted once more. Jack didn’t feel like risking it with Hector’s temper tonight; after all, he was celebrating. Y/n tried to stop the two from fighting before someone ended up with a bullet. She asked Jack, “Jack, perhaps we ought to cast off and set sail to Pirates Cove; I say we start by heading north over the horizon”.

“Fine idea, see, them books about sailin’ did come in handy, aye, love” Jack went off to order his men to prepare to set sail. Y/n smiled as she turned toward Hector, who scoffed, expecting a ‘thank you’ in return.

Y/n pressed her finger toward her lips, remembering the feeling of his. It was somewhat surprising, was the captain one sheet to the wind? He couldn’t have been grog blossomed, though still confused her why the captain kissed her of all people.

Suppose it’s a mystery.

-my overuse of adverbs/adjectives lmao. it's quite the challenge writing in my non-native language so i used to overcompensate a LOT and i noticed it turned out to be painfully obvious oops.

-how i over stress about perfection so much that it would keep me from finishing scenes and sometimes even whole projects. i'd go back again and again to reread and edit and it'll become an endless cycle

-how chamber pots and the pipes worked in regency era houses lmao. there might be something weirder but it's the only thing i rmr off the top of my head

It's kinda funny, because out of the two iterations Sun is definitely the more "Sinday" one, but here we go for Mira 😁

🍏 Preference for top or bottom/Submissive or dominant.

The very nature of her devil fruit is quite sensual and seductive and also animalistic, by extention making Mira lean more into the active, dominant side of things, but that doesn’t mean that she can't let go and let herself be seduced / have someone take her when she needs it. Overall, she doesn't really pay it any mind as long as she gets what she needs out of it.

🍎 Favorite type, looks and personality wise? Please specify the trait.

Tall and strong, but not bulky. Looking at Shanks... definitely a beautiful smile and floppy hair that you just wanna run your hands through.

Especially when she's young, Mira is drawn to Shanks' lightness and easy going personality. He was easy to talk to and fun to be around. He's also loving by nature and who wouldn't be drawn to that?

(and yes there are also darker, gray areas to him and Mira loves all of him with and despite those)

🍒 Would your character join a threesome if given a chance?

Mira? Probably not. (Sun? Eh... probably not in her canon timeline either, but in some other universe Sun's very probably having one hell of a night with Shanks and a certain cook 😏)

🥝 Your character’s most private sexual fantasy?

Mira is very hesitant about changing into her full mermaid form, especially because she knows how much of a rush it is and the effect it could have on others to see it. So her very private fantasy probably revolves around Shanks and her in full mermaid form. (And who knows... 🤫)

🧁 When did your character lose their virginity?

I am still a bit fuzzy on how and where to move with the timeline and where I am going to just make it my bitch, but I know she loses her virginity to Shanks on the Oro Jackson, so the estimate is 17-ish.
