Kind of a vent, kind of a positivity.

Cw/Tw for bad partners, toxic (kinda?) partners

We’ve recently realized that our two ex partners weren’t actually healthy for us. A was dating them mainly, came out to B as a system and they basically ignored us except when convenient. They never acknowledged any of us except A telling them something had changed name wise, things like that. B also barely responded to any texts at all, answering days or even weeks after. It was us reaching out and trying to plan stuff. Never them. And they never made an effort to try and clear their schedule or get back to us about dates or hangouts. But the cherry on top is they didn’t care when A went dormant for three months. Never responded to the text, never followed up. We were always checking up on them but they never did the same back.

E also barely responded, only days later and then never responded after a hello or something basic. They even said at the time when we broke up with them that it was a stretch to call what we had a relationship. Yet they led us on almost and let us stay in that relationship. They also never responded when A went dormant.

Now about 5 of us share a new partner. J is wonderful in every way. Checking up on us, being there for us. Caring about our system and making connections within. Taking the time to get to know different alters. J is absolutely everything we’ve needed. And I’m so glad that we have been able to find them. I’m thankful that J puts in the effort to tell us what we’ve done wrong and helps us work out solutions that help everyone. I’m thankful that we finally have someone who cares about not only the alters they’re dating, but they care about the rest of us as well. J is everything we’ve ever needed and I don’t see us ever loosing them unless someone is dragged away kicking and screaming.

Your exes sound like some really not nice people. Relationships always need to feature making time for each other even for say it’s a “little thing.”
