🐇: mars influence on the asc makes for prominent features. especially eyebrows. my brother has an aries rising and he has such a bad case of RBF. i swear he never looks happy 😭 his virgo sun and cap moon definitely don't help at all either. then im a mars rising and i have big eyebrows like my brother. like we're the only ones with big eyebrows, while our parents brows look invisible LOL. also i'm a virgo rising !! and ppl are always saying i look mad which honestly pisses me off :P so in conclusion, mars influence + virgo placements = major rbf

🗝️: i HATE to add on to the cancer hate train since i'm one myself and i loveee being one + we get soo much hate, but i feel a (unevolvled) cancer makes for the worst pick me girl ever !!!! this def doesn't apply to all cancers, but the few cancer women i know can be so mean to other women so unprovoked. especially my mom, it gives me the ick when she calls random women b*tches or makes fun of them to me for their features or success or soemthing. i used to be a pick me too up until i was like 13 (im soooo happy i grew out of that mess QUICK!). i would constantly strive for male attention, it was embarrassing 😭. ik another girl who values her shitty boyfriend over her (girl) friends and i haaate it. like ive only known a few cancer women, but a lot of them are like the meanest pick me bitch ever, or such a sweeet, caring soul :). i feel like being a pick me stems from cancers being feminine AND traditional. yk? i pray i make sense, but yk how it's traditional for girls to be perfect for her man, and value him no matter the circumstance ?? and cancer/moon being **traditional** ? yeahhh 😭

the sound of the pounding rain of outside hits the windows of the dorm it over takes the sound of the movie coming from the tv in front of the three girls who are sprawled on the couch.

“she’s so stupid.” yizhuo says towards the girl on the tv, jimin and minjeong nodding in agreement, minjeong opens her mouth to add onto the younger girls comment but the sound of jiggling keys cuts her off.

the three girls turn their heads to see aeri at the door way taking her keys out of the lock, minjeong was about to shout that they’re watching the movie that she recommended but it dies in her throat when she sees the tall figure behind her member and she’s instantly nervous.

they watched as the two girls walked fully into the dorm, “I brought a gift guys!” aeri, “every girls dream.” she says wrapping an arm around yn’s waist, presenting the taller girl like she was on sale.

she wasn’t on sale actually, and minjeong so wanted to say it when she saw the way jimin’s gaze lingered on yn.

“hey yn,” yizhuo said towards the girl with a smile, who returns her smile, they’ve always had a nice friendship, definitely nowhere near close as yn and aeri but they’ve always been cool with each other, it’s probably because they’re the same age.

yn and jimin just give each a nod of acknowledgment, like always.

minjeong feels her face heat up when yn turns her gaze towards her, she awkwardly waves at yn who just laughs at the older girl.

“I think you wore your last batch of clothes in my room the last time you were here.” aeri says to yn, she was about to offer to lend you some but yn cuts her off.

“I should have some clothes in minjeongs.” yn says nonchalantly, causing everyone to pause and look at minjeong who looks in her lap in embarrassment.

“oh?” aeri says looking at minjeong and then at yn and yizhuo lets out a laugh while jimin just looks at her phone.

“yup.” yn says before playfully kissing aeri’s cheek and walking towards minjeongs room.

a couple minutes go by and everyone stares at minjeong waiting for the girl to explain but all she does is cough awkwardly and gestures towards her room before getting up quickly and walking towards her room.

she hears aeri yell a “we’re talking about this later.” before she closes her room door.

she turns around to find yn laying on her bed in more comfortable clothes with her phone in her face, she lets out a sigh and walks over to the girl and plops right on top of her, earning a grunt from yn.

“you didn’t have to do all of that.” she says to yn pointing her finger at the girls face, causing yn to bite it earning a squeal from the aespa member.

“do what?” yn aks putting her phone down and bringing one of her her hands to rest behind her head looking down at the girl laying on her, “I needed my clothes.”

“I know…” she mumbles, “but now they’re gonna interrogate me.” she whines earning a laugh from yn.

“and I’ll be there to witness it.” yn jokes, “can’t wait.”

minjeong rolls her before sitting up and adjusting herself to straddle yn, “are you sleeping over today?”

yn shakes her head no as minjeong plays with the star ring on her finger, “not today, I gotta help hyunseo with her homework.”

minjeong lets out a playful aww earning a an embarrassed groan from yn, “you’re such a big sister.” she says poking the girls cheeks.

“stop.” yn whines, moving her heated face away as minjeong laughs.

after the laughter dies down she grabs yn’s hand again and plays with the star ring, “yn?”

“hm?”

“I like you a lot.”

there’s silence before yn grabs winter’s necklace and mutters a soft “I know.” before bringing the girl down to meet her lips.

Abram has certified protective big brother energy, but since he isn’t a big brother this goes to his girl friends at college instead. Palmetto is a safe campus, but he (and Elliot by association) still always end up getting their girl friends back to the dorms safely no matter what. I’m talking if two of their friends are fucked up before he even gets there he will leave the bar 10 minutes in just to get them home and then come BACK. (this is based on my sisters friend at lsu and it’s so wholesome)

Abram’s relationship with Neil is interesting bc he’s growing up as Neil is traveling in the pros in his late 20’s. However, Neil visits whenever it’s convenient and once he gets in the groove of this whole godfather thing he treats Abram like he’s his uncle bc he sees how Andrew is with Aaron’s girls. He keeps up with his schedule when he starts playing little leagues and makes Dan send pictures. She sends first day of school updates and a picture of a little Abram missing his two front teeth.

Abram gets a Josten Court jersey and wears it until it stinks. He gets new ones when he outgrows them. By his third one Matt gets him a huge one to grow into as a grown man. He does indeed grow into it.

Neil sends him post cards with a little letters written inside when he’s 4 and Abram loves it so much that Dan facetime’s Neil like 2 weeks after he got the first one but it’s just Abram’s face all up in the camera. “When will I get anover wetter, uncle Neil?” “Oh!” instant delight “It must still be in the mail, buddy, but just keep an eye on the mailbox, okay?” “Okay… do you wanna see your wetter?! I put it on my wall, uncle Neil!”

Neil is the first to start calling him B, firstly bc calling someone else Abram is something he has to get used to. Secondly because Abram acknowledges it as Neil’s nickname and stubbornly doesn’t let anyone else call him it.

Matt retires from exy at like 32 when Abram is 3. Matt’s exy team loyalties lie where his friends are at, so Matt, Jace, and Abram make it a thing to watch every game. Abram can’t keep track of Neil is and gets frustrated by it. Matt mentions it while laughing, two games later Neil has the butt of his stick wrapped in orange. After that Abram keeps saying, “Ope, there’s uncle Neil again …. There’s- I see orange, Daddy! …. There he goes again! …. Look! Uncle Neil!!”

Andrew may have been the one humanizing Neil, but Abram is the one who softens him.

Abram used to hold onto Addie or Annie’s hands and just follow them around at Fox reunions, which got more frequent throughout the years and is why/how the fox kids all got close.

Abram plays minecraft but just creative mode. He likes adventure or sports videogames while his brother likes Call of Duty and whatnot.

As a teenager, Abram and Neil text so much and talk on the phone a lot. About exy, about French help bc he’s learning it in school, about some fantasy show that Abram somehow got Neil into, about sports and college applications and when he can come visit again. And then about who these new kids in Neil’s house are and are they gonna stay a while? should we add them to the cousin gc? hey how’s elliot doing? and hey can you send me elliot’s number? and if i’m doing all this hard work to keep the strikers away the least our strikers could do is do something with the ball i keep getting to them, anyway, are you guys bringing blake and elliot to thanksgiving? i’m excited to meet them. and i know ur gonna be weird if i ask you about guys but im pretty sure i have a crush on one and im kinda freaking out and im scared to tell my parents and-

Matt is so loving when he comes out to him and Dan, hugging Abram really tight and just telling him he loves him and he’s so proud of him and Abram cries a little.

The first time he kisses a boy (bc crushes are only from afar) it’s freshman year of college and it’s because he starts looking at Elliot too often for too long and needs to get that shit out of his head bc that’s his best friend.

Abram has lunch with Dan like twice a month because she tries to stay out of his hair since she’s the exy coach at PSU.

When he and Elliot get together he finds he loves to wrap Elliot up in his clothes.

Elliot goes to all of his home games with their friends and cheers obnoxiously. Abram loves it. He also… fucks Elliot while he wears his soccer jersey.

He is definitely a gentle giant, but once he and Elliot get together he throws that boy AROUND in the bedroom.

Thank you to the people who commented on my previous post [ x ] about the enstars siblings so I can ramble more !!!

Yes, I do realize that some of the character's siblings get a decent amount of mention like Midori's older brother in Ring.A.Bell and Adonis' sisters in a good amount of stories + that one 4koma comic along with Kanzaki's little brother and Kohaku's sisters who appear off screen in Secret Service and Last Mission (thank you to that person who reminded me of that !). And I'm pretty sure one of his sisters appear on screen to disguise as Kohaku (her model is just a copy of Kohaku 💀) and more etc, I'm just getting these from the top of my head.

Also, I forgot to mention Madara's little sister even though I was really interested in her when I learned about her. She's the best fr fr. We should get a model of her and more stories with her and Mitsuru, they're really cute <3 (can't you see I'm really sane about them). She's probably the most interesting out of all the npc siblings in my opinion.

Also I never knew Sora had a younger sister! Again, thanks to the person who commented that !! Never mentioning her in the game feels like a VIOLATION. Sora would be a good and sweet older brother 😭❤️

I also forgot Tsumugi had an older brother 💀💀💀 In the wiki, it says that Tsumugi rarely sees him to the point where he forgets he exists, which is funny because I forgot he existed too lol. (I HAD TO SEARCH TO SEE IF HE ACTUALLY HAD AN OLDER BROTHER)

So about Suzu and Mika....THEY REALLY NEED TO MEET AGAIN. LIKE COME ON HAPPYELE YOU CANT JUST DROP "OH YEA SHES MIKA'S LONG LOST TWIN SISTER" AND EXPECT US TO BRUSH IT OFF . No, we need more. Engirls and Enstars take place in the same universe make them interact again PLEASE 😢😢😢😢😢😭😭😭 character lore drops are my favourites. And as a lore player, I'm desperate.

There's also Nagisa's younger sister and brother, I've been thinking about them a lot ever since I went on his wiki to research more about him. There was nothing about them on the Family page on the wiki. It's most likely they aren't related to him but what if they're also children taken in by Godfather that have been isolated from humanity like Nagisa???? Idk lol I'm gonna have to go on the wiki again to make sure that can be a possible theory. Happyele should also mention them...it's so mysterious and gives me the chills every time I go on their empty page on the wiki. (Most average lore player)

As I type this, I realize that happyele has something against siblings. Like come on if you can change artstyles 3 times, and add new characters, then you can at least make models for the character's siblings and mention them/make them appear in new stories 😢😢😢😢

wait wait wait, what about "Like Father, Like Libby"?? What are your thoughts on THAT dad episode? Especially bc what you said about alador. I cried 😭

This is one of those moments where I meant in my other post TGaMM does a good job of balancing humour with serious tones, but evidently not making it a cheapened moment. Libby is a great character who has visibly grown out of her shell thanks to Molly's influence, and when we see her be passionate we can see/relate to a lot of aspects of her child-like glee. Granted, she is still a kid, but the way her excitement of lost time/potential takes hold of her here in this episode is even something Leah was surprised by. Which makes it very real and relatable!

To briefly pull away from the focus of the episode, I loved the B plot with Molly and Scratch because of the gags and one-liners. One of my favourite tropes in fiction, especially in sitcom series, is a character who is suddenly doing crosswords for the entirety of the episode which basically tees up punchlines and gags. I don't care if it's cheesy, I always find it hilarious. It's a simple way to set up jokes, but TGaMM did great with their deliveries and had me and my sister cackling.

Which is good! As undercutting serious tension can be needed to add levity. I feel as though if I had watched this episode as a kid, a lot of Leah's behaviours would've gone over my head then. But as I am now, seeing how she is, having moments of laughter adds great balance to the main story. And additionally, more moments of Libby and Molly's BFF nature is great: the fact that she knew Molly already messed up but was just playing it off just goes to show how well she knows her friend (I headcanon she asked Molly to put Simon on the phone just to troll her).

Now, the dad.

I love that Leah wasn't disheartened or jealous with Libby's sudden affection for her father. She had discomfort, but mainly because she knows what kind of man Matias really is. Seeing how she subtly places herself in support of her daughter throughout the entire is a great detail in how she is the parent that stayed and truly loved Libby, but also that Libby is aware of her mom's presence. As when the moment happens, she immediately knows she can rely on her mom again.

She just misses her dad.

And that, is wonderful storytelling in the way that not even Libby was aware how much she wanted her father in her life until the opportunity presented itself. I don't think she wanted to become a writer because of him, but I bet that had a small influence in her outlet with her poetry and such. Much of his lack of presence takes a toll and is finally let loose here, which enhances Libby's expectations. She asks her mother if his personality is basically anything like the stereotypical dads she's no doubt read/heard about.

Though I believe even Libby started to suspect something at the moment she met him too, as when her dad gave her a signed copy it felt like she recognized his signature was more general than personalized for her. Seeing that after all the expectations and build up, he turns out to be exactly as Leah suspected, was a gut punch but also very raw. Letting Libby soak in her moment for a bit was nice, but having her come out of it and recognize her mother's value in her life made it all the better.

All in all, a great episode and definitely up there in my top five faves so far.

(P.S.: Matias book series is gonna flop, what kind of publisher decides to make a book into a trilogy after a book is released?)

i actually have so much material about this particular plot that i had no idea how to go about putting it down in a coherent way, so in the end i tried to write the kind of summary you would find on MDL, but i realize that without the romance part it's probably not very appealing ;;;;;;;;

im still not sure of how to make sense of everything i have in my head so im just gonna share my very messy notes about jimmysea's characters and their relationship (only them for now because if i did it for everyone we would be here for a really long time ;;;;;;;). here we go!!!!

sea: a bright young man who always has a smile on his face and seems to have no worries in the world. his happy-go-lucky personality and the fact that everything comes easy to him can make him come off as a bit arrogant, but he's actually surprisingly observant and caring. when he was 17 years old, his father died in the ER after a car accident, and because the other party involved was a boy from a wealthy family, sea has been convinced ever since that his father's death was due to the doctors choosing to prioritize the boy even if his condition was less severe. this loss inspired sea to study medicine to make sure that what happened to his father didn't happen to anyone else, but it also made him resentful, which is why he struggles to respect the hospital rules. this often puts him in conflict with earth, who thinks sea's natural talent isn't enough to justify his lack of discipline.

jimmy: the only medical student to have completed his specialization under the mentorship of jane's father and to have actually earned his respect, jimmy is now one of the most renowned surgeon in the country despite his young age. his charming and gentle personality makes him be liked and respected by everyone, but his workaholism has earned him the nickname of 'the ghost of [insert name] hospital', as he seems to hardly ever leave the place. after being left at the altar by the woman he loved, jimmy has given up on relationships entirely, throwing himself into work and constantly trying to dodge his sister's attempts to set him up with someone. his walls however start to slowly crumble under the power of sea's smile and small caring gestures.

basically on one of jimmy's usual late night at the hospital, he wonders into pediatric to discuss a case with mix and finds sea reading a bed time story to a small group of children. just like jimmy, sea too seems to be reticent to go home, so night after night they end up keeping each other company and spending more and more time together. at first it's just the two of them working in the same room, jimmy doing paperwork and sea studying for his upcoming medical exams, but eventually sea manages to coax him out of the hospital, first by taking him out to eat and then by taking him to sea's favorite places around town. sea is also full of small caring gestures that make jimmy's heart tremble: he leaves jimmy's favorite coffee on his desk for him to find after a particular rough night, he forces jimmy to take a break and get some rest, he cuts fruits for jimmy and is mindful of everything that has to do with jimmy's hands. as they get closer tho, jimmy also realizes that there's a lot more behind sea's smile than it first appears: sea's mother never quite recovered from the loss of her husband, and after three years from his death she started developing sever dementia, to the point she can no longer recognize sea and sometimes even mistakes him for her husband when sea smiles

in my head their relationship is a very slow burn as they help each other heal but also as they try to reconcile their feelings with the fact that they're still a mentor and an intern. earth is also jimmy's best friend and at first he very much does not approve of how close jimmy and sea became, but eventually he comes around

That said, I think you're probably the first person I've seen who's gotten this angry at Yang (aside from a few other characters in the fic)! 😂 Game-wise, him reviving Yin in the prologue made the most sense to me out of all the other theories (not that there are a lot imo), and it also works with the implications of the post-credits scene, so I was more than ready to add it to the fic with maximum angst! XDD

Of course, this all means Yang is an even bigger douche than before 😅 There were a million other ways he could've gone about stealing the talismans without ruining Yin's life, but ah well, I had to stick to that part of canon for this fic 😂 I personally think he didn't have this mindset eight years ago; like, how much of his current thinking is actually him and how much is part of the talisman's influence? But even then, it was still a horrible move to make, especially where Yin was concerned (hence why I came up with the Dawn!AU where she lives! hehe). And his entire arc overall was one of my struggling points while writing, because how DO you come back from this? How do you have the happy ending with all the fluffy rainbow and unicorn feels?? Would a happy ending for this even be happy for Yin and Yang's relationship after all he's done to her? So that was quite interesting and tricky to work with XDD

Thread on the hairstyles of everyone in FMN because why not?

Starting off strong (get it?) we have Jace who’ve I’ve granted grace and given a nice standard haircut. Anything too short is a no for him and mullets give the guy war flashbacks so this is his comfort look.

Out of all the Stark men his hair is the least curly, more wavy than anything but if he grew it out there would be a lot more bounce to it. Thankfully he’s kept up with the family tradition and decided to retain some nice length. Whenever Baela’s board she cornrows it just to see how red his scalp will turn from irritation.

One time she posted her work to twitter but made sure to let everyone know he’s legally biracial so it’s fine.

Next in we have baby Joffrey who’s hair is the curliest out of both his brothers plus Harwin. Its got some natural highlights and is very bouncy. The kid loves his hair even though he likes to act as if it’s whatever and hides the dozens of haircare products beneath the bathroom sink. He’s a shea-moister and curling cream junkie but don’t let him hear you say it because he’ll deny, deny, deny and insist his hair just looks like that fresh out of bed. Not his fault he’s gods favorite.

One time he posted a thirst trap to his story while his hair was wet as he was straight out of the shower because he finally added a girl he’d been crushing on to his close friends. Sadly, he forgot his sister’s were in his close friends as well which led to him getting screen shotted and made fun of 😔

Mama Rhaenyra! Ugh, her hair is everything, very reminiscent of the stereotypical 90’s bombshell. Think Anna Nicole Smith but Pamala Anderson whenever she goes for an updo.

Nyra keeps her hair around shoulder length but will grow it out a few inches in the winter/fall before going back to the salon to get some length cut off because she misses the bob. Loves hairspray like its her best friend and thinks dry shampoo is the holy grail of all hair products. The love this woman has for her hair was passed on through Joffrey and everyone knows it.

She’ll cry and be down in the dumps for the rest of the day if her salon trip leaves her with harsher layers than she wanted (me too babes, me too)

Rhaena said she was serving cunt once after getting some minor highlights + a blowout and hasn’t stopped smiling since.

Laena! What can I say? She’s a simple woman.

Her hair is always giving effortless but takes a bunch of time and heavy maintenance. Its the perfect combo between that messy running across the beach look while still very glamorous. She isn’t big on big brands or factory made products like some people… so her main hair care items are water based, all natural things like olive oil and rice water, and only applies heat every once in a blue moon. The last time an actual hair dryer ever touched her hair was when the twins were still in middle school.

Very simple woman when it comes to styles, likes a pretty low bun with a few strands pulled in front of her face and if she’s feeling adventurous will clip on a faux bang that she styled to match her hair since she’s too afraid to commit to cutting real ones. (Again, me too.)

Baela is my favorite because I’m a sucker for women with short hair. No woman has ever looked ugly with short hair and thats that.

Baela has never cared for long hair mainly because she’s a sports girl so its very hot. Plus she can’t keep a hair tie for shit, you could buy her a pack of 100 elastic hair ties and they’d all go missing in a month tops. Another reason she rather keep it shaved down is because its not as much hassle, however she’ll have her moments where she chooses to grow it out because she loves the 90’s Halle Berry and Nia Long vibe that comes with short hair on the longer side when its all styled up.

Currently her hair looks closer to the style on the left but will prob go back to something similar to the cut on the right soon.

as for heeseung, i def wrote him to be an asshole but like...one that you could fuck anyway. some of us just wanna have fun with a red flag, and it's fictional so i see no issue with it :D as for fucking the friend group, since the fic was a gift for my favorite oomfie i didn't want to self indulge too much. it was heeseung centered both in mind and spirit, however i will definitely delve into fucking all of hyung line in a fic someday c:

yeeeeeeeeah the pillow scene was the instance in my head where heeseung was 100% certain he had her in the palm of his hand, so parading around like a sex magnet would come naturally for him rather than needing to put effort in. it was fucking play time for him, so yes, 0-100 is a perfect way to describe that point in the fic. he really switched it up from being blatantly interested to what the fuck does he want with me?????

i also do tend to add some jokes and comedic relief in my fics solely because it's who i am as a person. a lot of my humor is very dry and read as a narrator voice but i feel like it comes across well :D at least in MY head it does.

as for the birth control AND plan B. we all know it's unhealthy and not viable at all. it's actually quite cringe that she'd be so paranoid and do such a thing. it's also very much not realistic, so i don't quite enjoy when people come at it like "i just know her body is blahblahblah"

OKAY SO first off (and a surprise to no one) luke skywalker is my ultimate blorbo. my special guy. and it’s funny cause i grew up knowing of star wars, watching the movies with my older siblings, but i never really cared about it- it wasn’t until years later i even thought about watching the movies again and it was only because my sister pressured me into watching the mandalorian and i fell in love. and then i decided to rewatch the original trilogy and that was it. the movies just found me at such a perfect spot in my life to really dig into my brain and not let go- it was year two of the pandemic, i had no friend whatsoever and a day to day that just left me feeling dull, ya know? and then all of the sudden there were these old movies about hope. about being able to become more than the sum of your parts. there was luke. luke really just embodies that feeling of hope that i was so without. and i think it’s those set of circumstances and then me just being a big science fiction/space nerd in general really made luke my perfect star wars blorbo. and then add dinluke into that!!! i could go on and on about dinluke (and i have) but fundamentally i think it’s the dynamic of these two powerful people who carry these two, seemingly opposing ideals coming together and finding that they have more in common and more to offer each other than either ever thought they’d receive is just *chefs kiss*

MOVING ON TO katniss everdeen! my first and forever blorbo. i know i don’t hunger games post here a lot but thg and katniss were both really big parts of my development. the hunger games introduced me to fandom and fanfic and katniss introduced me to the mindset of never giving up. no matter when you feel like you already have, you never give up. that small acts of bravery are just as important as big ones. she inspired me to stick up for myself and feel courageous, to shoot a bow and wear my hair in a braid far too often. to look out for those i love with all i can give. i love her strength and her wit and how she is smart and so dumb and young all at the same time. and her and peeta as a couple i think just really set the standard of love to me. like after everything, all the fighting and death, they choose to live for each other. they help each other live for themselves. that you don’t have to be someone else when your with the right person. that you can be vulnerable and ask real or not real?

NEXT IN LINE is mickey milkovich from shameless. i am rotating him around in my mind CONSTANTLY. its safe to say that he was my favourite character on the show and his penchant for crime, swearing and anger really struck a chord with me. he’s a character that feels so much but is rarely given the chance to express it. he’s constantly going against the odds and trying to do what’s right. it may not be right, or legal for that matter, but it’s still what he believes. he’s a character that’s gone through so much pain and suffering and is still able to flip off the world. he gives me the confidence to say fuck you to people who are treating me poorly and smile because i know that the parts of me they judge and think are weak are the parts that make me swing back harder. he’s violent, he’s gross, he’s pathetic and he’s one tough motherfucker and shit if getting to see him get a happy ending, get to be out and to get someone who loves him as he is for all those reasons didn’t make me hope id get that one day too. AND LASTLY a newer blorbo entering the ring- jamie tartt from ted lasso! now, i will gleefully admit i hated jamie through season one and much through season two but holy shit did ted lasso pull off a redemption like nothing ive ever seen before. really and truly, i did not expect to connect with jamie as much as i did. the last season but the character growth and storylines they gave him that shed some light onto why he was the way he was and how they connected so many things in with the earlier seasons that just made you see things in an entirely different way??? like he’s still a cocky prick, but he’s a cocky prick you can’t help but love and cheer for. and the scene where he tells roy that he’s just anxious and tired all the time really fucking hit home for me, even when they did end up playing it off as a bit of a joke, i just felt that moment so deep in my bones and funny little manchester-man jamie earned himself a spot in my brain.

Okay girl I want to start off by saying thank you for the new chapter of WG and that I’m sorry this review is really late! I started reading it last week but never had the time to finish because of finals so since then I’ve been avoiding your blog like the plague 💀💀 because I didn’t want any spoilers but I finished IT TODAY FINALLY!!! 🥳🥳 And I have so many thoughts!!🤠 

First was that during the confrontation scene between Sharon, Reader, and Ari I was listening to music and Wallflower by Billie Eilish is so WG!Ari, Reader, and Sharon coded like omg it could not have come on at a better time. PLEASE PLEASE listen to it and tell me what you think 🙏🙏 

Next, I know I have been notoriously team daddy Ari but guys…😔😔 I think I’m team Steve🙂 now.

I had a suspicion since Kira was introduced that Ari did something to her and that turned me off of him bc like why? Like if it was a random girl like Carla Wanda I wouldn’t mind but Kira also had like a shy, innocent demeanor similar to reader so for me, him messing with Kira took away from the whole dynamic of him and readers relationship if that’s makes sense. 

I think Ari was super sincere this chapter and yes he’s changed but he obviously keeps things from reader and just because he apologized and changed it doesn’t mean that that wipes his slate of everything he’s done to so many girls.  So although the picnic scene was cute I just wasn’t feeling it with Ari. I loved Steve’s window scene and honestly the only thing actually wrong with Steve is that he has anger/mood issues which obviously needs to be resolved but at least he’s self aware, cares for reader and his sister, and he’s not a bad guy, he just has a lot on his plate. 

Wanda is so selfish and annoying my god and Curtis is such a shit stirrer. I loved when Ari came on stage and called her Carla lmaoo 😭💀.

During the confrontation scene I felt terrible for reader for being humiliated like that but I tried to think about it in Sharon’s perspective and it was really her suffering, she was literally cheated on. Like if the roles were reversed, we would all be hating on reader. Even if we were in Carla’s POV, reader is a villain but that’s because that hoe has selective hearing. Reader is a home wrecker, so while I feel bad for her and was crying at the end when Steve was confronting Ari and Reader felt so confused, she is not guilt free because she was apart of it as well and knowingly continuing her relationship with Ari.

I think Sharon was very upset with Reader because she liked her or something so it made that betrayal a lot more hurtful for her.

And yes, I think Ari did spread Kira’s nudes around or maybe even worse. The thing is, I would prefer it that he did that because he wanted to and not because his friends forced him to or something because it shows that no feelings were attached to Ari’s relationship with Kira (that’s so heartless lolll💀💀but..).

I think Steve’s gonna get to the hospital and be okay.

But Ari was such a dick in that moment bc he knew what he did wrong and him trying to shoo reader off to the car while Steve was exposing him?? He is not a good guy and while I don’t believe that Ari would hurt Reader like that and that they could have a good relationship, I just don’t like Ari because he’s not a good person in general, even if he is to Reader. I believe Ari loves her and all but I kinda don’t like him, I don’t know I’m confused.

I think Steve would be good to reader but the thing is Ari and reader have so much history that I feel like they’ll end up together and Steve won’t get his chance. 

So am I Team Steve or Team Ari? I’m definitely leaning towards Steve. 

Also I wanted to add that I know you were super worried about this chapter not being good but I think it was one of my favorites of WG. I didn’t even notice there wasn’t any smut in WG4 until you pointed it out at the end. While I adore your smut stories, I liked that this chapter didn’t have smut because it gave room for the story to build and become more meaningful. Remember that stories don’t need to have smut to be great and that’s evident because WG4 was a masterpiece!!! 🥺💛

Again thank you for this amazing chapter darling, I hope you’re keeping well and of course we’ll eat up anything you write for us, please don’t ever underestimate your talent. You’re a talented writer and your work is amazing.

okay so firstly, a different anon also said the same thing that they were listening to wallflower by billie eilish whilst reading this fic and it fit so much!! i still need to listen to this song hehe.

and i get what you mean but READER ISN'T SHY. she's nothing like kira!!! but you need to know the whole story to understand and we don't know the whole story yet! we don't know half of it! but reader is her own unique self and she and kira are not really that similar?? i'm saying this bc a lot of people seem to think reader is all shy and innocent like kira but SHE ISN'T :((( like yeah reader was naive at first but she isn't anymore, and also kira hasn't really been described as being naive? all we know about her is that something terrible happened to her and she has social anxiety... sooo yeah we don't even know the full story!! so i don't really think it should take away from ari and reader's dynamic if ari had a history with kira...

and yep i totally agree with you about the confrontation scene! honestly if the roles were reversed, maybe people would be cheering for carla! like let's say if it was sharon who was the other woman, then her getting exposed would seem like a good thing! but tbh that's what i wanted to portray - that reader isn't innocent in all of this. and yeah her getting exposed like that was harsh but it created drama and buzz lmao so for the story it was needed.

ALSO NOT YOU TURNING INTO A STEVE GIRLY THO SKFNLASGNLAK all i'll say is that... with this chapter, i went in knowing that most people were team Ari and i wanted some of y'all to switch over to team Steve... which is why i wrote the chapter how i write it ;) SO WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT CHAPTER HEHEHEHE

My hopes for Fate of thr Winx Season 3!

This post obviously contains spoilers for Seaspn 2 of Fate.

Techna will be introduced(FINALLY) I have a strong feeling that since Bloom is "gone", Techna will be a new student who will be placed in Bloom's dorm. The group will have trouble accepting her because they don't want to replace Bloom, especially since they will 100% spend the season trying to get Bloom back. They will eventually realize that Techna isn't a replacement and that they can accept her. Ultimately, Techna will be helpful in getting Bloom back.(I'm really hoping they'll introduce Techna)

I'm also hoping we'll get more of the specialists. Like Brandon and Timmy. I won't explain, I just want them😭

Miss Icy and Darcy, or Isobel and D'arcy maybe??? I have a very strong feeling that when Bloom comes back(or even before) it'll bring some people back to life. Including Beatrix. "Trix" is literally in her name. So when she inevitably comes back because I highly doubt she'll stay dead, she will probably be super vengeful. She'll connect with her sisters and thus the Trixes will form with their aliases. Either that, or Icy and Darcy will form the Trixes and be out to avenge their fallen sister.

Musa getting good with combat training. She obviously has a passion for it and she deserves to follow her passion. Also, if she trained to the level of a Specialist, imagine how awesome that'd be? She's in a fight and someone tries to control her or something because they think she's a Specialist when BAM! She's a fairy.

Y'all are gonna be sick of me for this, but RIVUSA!!! Fucking FINALLY. I think it'll definitely be canon next season. Riven seems to be "calmer" and Musa is exploring beyond her friends. Honestly, I'll even take them as friends at this point. Although friends to lovers would be great...

Stella is going to back her mom into a corner. She'll "quit" being the Princess(idk how that works) and her mom will be forced to give in. She'll most likely try to wait Stella out, but ultimately Stella will succeed.

Stella will befriend Isobel and D'arcy and bring them to Alfea. They'll play the part of being Stella's friend, but will have some ulterior motive.

Musa and Flora tranform!!!! And Techna, if her character is introduced.

Bloom's mom is going to be some sort of Antagonist. Girl has been in the Realm of Darkness alone or with monsters for 1,000 years. Something's up for sure.

Stella's mom is going to be some sort of Antagonist. She agreed with Rosalind on a lot. She wanted to put Bloom in stasis(which we know would've allowed her to still access Bloom's magic). Stella's mom has always been shady.

Aisha is going to have a moral crisis. She 100% still has feelings for Grey. He was her first everything and she opened up to him. She's going to be struggling between her loyalty to her friends and Alfea because Grey betrayed her, but he also helped save Sky and he came back.

Musa and Riven will get together and Sam will come back. Or Riven will find himself falling for Musa only for Sam to return either temporarily or permanently. He'll think Musa is going to forget about him and he'll try to fall back into his old habits. Somehow, I doubt Musa will let that happen.(maybe this will be where they get together. Heat of the moment arguing and then they kiss or someone reveals their feelings or both)

my sister said the same thing. she said don’t let the sensei ruin japanese when you enjoy it so much. continue it for yourself and not for him. btw, he isn’t an official japanese teacher. he’s just a college professor who has the n2 level japanese and is teaching us the language at his home.

and your resources are very helpful! i’m currently doing some journaling with japatalk and it really does help. same with hellotalk but i quickly run out of things to talk about sadly 😅

for the listening section, i used to do shadowing back in n5 but only stopped when the sensei said we’re good enough to move on but i think i’m going to do that again. i also want to listen while reading and i have a lot of books to do that but i’m gonna be honest i’m quite lazy. i think that’s my thing is that i get lazy and demotivated very quickly and i need to find something to fix that.

my favorite thing about japanese is when i’m watching anime or playing a video game in japanese and they use a word i know and i just scream I KNOW THAT ONE! I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS! and then when i hear a new conjugation of a word i know i quickly write it down and share it with the class (i had to wait an entire year to learn about うごくな because i just loved that word from jjk and when we finally learned it i was like 🤩 this the entire class lol)

Oh I see. Well, him not being a licensed teacher at least explains why he sucks at teaching. There are so many professional Japanese teachers online that teach for free on YouTube or that you can pay for one-on-one lessons on iTalki (I haven't tried that tho so I can't say what that's like but I've heard a lot of good things about it), so I'd definitely recommend trying out those instead of continuing your current class.

And I totally get what you mean about recognizing words, it always makes me super excited especially because it shows me that I made progress and then it makes all the time and energy I've already dedicated to it super worth it.

Oh and about reading and listening - I always like to recommend Satori Reader. It's a website/app that has lots of stories (only the first 3 episodes or so of each story are free but the premium version is absolutely worth it) and they all come with audio as well (you can also slow down or speed up the audio), plus you can click on every word to get the translation, and lots of grammar notes. You can add all the words to a study deck to review, too. There are lots of stories with different genres so maybe you can find some stories that interest you there. Honestly, I want to say that most of my progress comes from there. It honestly helps a lot.

I also have days where I don't really feel like it, which is why I try to have lots of different things I can do so if I don't feel like doing one thing, there's still something else I can do. And sometimes you really just have to make it your routine and do it even when you don't feel like it (and then feel proud for having done something afterwards).

The best thing you can do is find something you really enjoy and consume that. Again, it's okay if you don't understand everything, you'll still learn a lot. I've read the entirety of Attack on Titan in Japanese and while that was... exhausting, it helped a lot and since I love the story I wanted to keep reading it. Another thing I like doing is watch gameplays in Japanese on YouTube. I like to watch gameplays in general, so when there's a game I've already played myself or already watched a gameplay of in English, I know the story, etc. well enough. Watching a gameplay of it in Japanese is nice because even if you didn't understand a lot, you could still follow the story and just try to pick up as much as possible. And for gameplays people usually turn on the subtitles so you can read while listening. For example, The Last of Us 2 is a really really long game so watching a gameplay of that taught me quite a few words! You could also play the games in Japanese yourself, but it can be difficult to get access to the Japanese version sometimes and if you don't understand a lot you might get stuck or mess up if it's something like a choice-based game, but it can also be a lot of fun!

Basically, it's also about creativity and finding as many ways as possible to interact with the language on a daily basis. There are resources that will teach you more than others, but everything will teach you one or two words or expose you to the language at the very least and slowly but surely you know more and more.
