hey but like irt the previews for ep 7, is tong actually trying to look out for ming when hes trying to drive wedges between him and joe 1.0 and joe 2.0. or does he sabotage mings relationships w his stunt doubles for other reasons. cause like it really seems like tong does revel in the fact that ming is his "biggest fan," like he just cant stand the fact that ming would persue a relationship with a stand-in, who, in his eyes, is an inferior replacement for himself. but he also is totally Not Interested in ming that way.

actually i think its less to do with ming himself, and more with tongs own ego; cause we see the same thing in the past when they wanted joe 1.0 to replace tong. he had to Instigate because he just couldnt stand anyone thinking that theyd be able to replace him. so this is true for his professional life, and, unfortunately for ming, his personal life too.
