DP x DC prompt idea
Danny’s space powers are coming in. Because those are something he has, apparently.
He just moved to a new city for college. According to Frostbite, setting out from one’s initial haunt/deathplace long-term, to train or learn, is an important developmental stage for ghosts who are strong enough to do so. Which means his core has now developed enough to be clearly identifiable as a space core.
And also to give him new space powers, of course. Can’t forget that.
Thing is, of all the challenges he’s facing trying to make good first impressions at college while going through New Powers Puberty Part 2: Electric Boogaloo, Danny really thought the newfound ability to see whether someone’s been to space would be pretty low on his list of concerns.
Like, how often is that even relevant in everyday life, right? Hopefully he’ll meet astronauts through his Aerospace Engineering program, but it’s not like it should affect his ability to act normal around people day-to-day, right?
So how, exactly, did he manage to pick a regular study spot in a café also frequented by a group of random people who somehow each have more hours in space than literal crew members of the ISS?
And, more urgently, how long can his sleep-deprived brain resist asking them if they have any insights that will help with his homework?

she'd have lost her mom at a young age and been placed with joel, who she never gets along with at first, thinking he's just a bil ol meanie who wanted an extra check every month.
that was until he showed he cared, not through hugs and affection in the traditional sense, but making sure she did her homework, picking her up everyday, getting her out of her room, checking on her when she'd been too quiet. "you okay, kiddo?" and "i heard talking helps." he'd say as he leaned on the door frame. eventually, she couldn't help but love him.
absolutely a nerd. though, when she got teased, she didn't exactly back down as expected which landed her in the detention a few times and some talking-to's. but she won and defended herself. no one could be mad at her for that. still, she was smart. she was going to be an astronaut after all. though that dream died in middle school.
high school came and she tried to straighten up. no more fighting bullies, even if they deserved it. she was better than that. she would get an internship, the internship that would line everything up, get her a scholarship so she could study aerospace engineering, get rich and get joel out of the old house on a patch of land with however many sheep he wanted. the same internship that got her bitten by a radioactive spider and shooting webs out her wrists.
words could not describe how much she worried joel when she woke up the day after, crushing her alarm clock, breaking the sink, the shower rack, everything. she skipped that day, hanging out on the rooftop of the house while joel was away stuck between having a panic attack from the sensory overload and telling someone, anyone. she decided on testing them out which earned her quite a few bruises joel luckily chalked up to another fight. "we gotta talk about this fighting thing sometime." she'd roll her eyes, saying something snarky before limping up the stairs. "say what you want but i win," "i heard that!"
also sidebar: ellie as a new yorker...whew. honestly ellie as anything- anyway.
hours or research ensue on cross-species genetics, spiderbites, different types of spiders, everything that made her feel disgusting. she slammed her laptop closed, crushing the poor thing.
it felt like there were a million things to do with her newfound powers but the only two on her mind was impress dina and swing from the rooftops. c’mon, she was 16 with the powers of a freaking spider. who said saving people would the first thing on her mind? she felt powerful, even weirder than she already felt but still powerful.
it was terrible, watching joel get more and more disappointed in her as she got distracted. “i’m a good kid! i just got distracted, gimmie a break.” “i have given you plenty. more than i should’ve. and that’s on me. that's my mistake to make you think that coming home late and fighting and blowing me off is okay.”
“i can't help how i turned out! don't blame me for being a shitty dad.” she yelled before slamming the door and stalking off into who knows where. she didn't even mean it, she was just stressed, she never meant any of it. hours later, she’d wish those words never came out her mouth.
she'd hoped she was having some cruel nightmare when she saw joel laid out on the pavement. "some help me! c-call an ambulance. don't just fucking stand there-" her voice was raw as she screamed out. "c'mon, don't die on me. y-you can't. i'm sorry? is that what you wanna hear? i'm sorry."
she hated the looks of pity, everyone's soft voices. people who never once talked to her suddenly caring. it was all fake. they didn't know her and they sure and hell didn't know joel.
she became another person for a while. quieter, more closed off. sometimes snappy. laser focused on finding the low-life took joel from her. that's when she started wearing the mask. the basic concept of it anyway and it caught on with the people, more than she imagined. ellie scoffed at the name spider-woman at first, thinking it was ridiculous. she wasn't some circus performer, she was just trying to find the killer.
dina as her mj, reaching out to her after joel’s death, inviting her over for dinner, talking to her in class, all of it. it wasn’t the same disingenuous pity she hated, she could feel she cared. so she allowed her feelings to fester. being with her actually helped. it was one more thing to balance with school and the internship and her mission, but it was more person in her life. she needed that.
one day ellie went running towards the trouble. not because joel's killer was there or cause of some adrenaline rush, but because she needed to do something. to not be helpless for once. she wasn't helpless. she hadn't felt completely in control of her body as she webbed a whole bridge back together and pulled cars back onto the surface, but in the end it was a like a high. it still ached to see kids running to their parents and everyone running to their families, but they were all safe. she did that. and that felt better than getting revenge and letting it suck the life out of her. so she'd wear the spandex and the mask and go by the stupid name. only cause it meant something now.

Hey Ai!!!! Remember I told u that Caleb was at the second spot in my list? Well guess what? There are three men now occupying the top spot of my heart. I can’t even explain it cause Satoru’s the loml and will always be, that’s not gonna change.
Then Sylus is so mafia husband/soulmate material like he’s the type to find u in every lifetime and fall in love with u in every single one of them 😫 Whenever I go see him, I’m like “That’s my mafia husband, m the father of my child, the one i’m gonna spend every waking moment next to. He’s gonna beat the shit out of you and I’ll go wipe the blood off his hands and kiss him afterwards”
Then there’s Caleb.....For me personally, he brings back those high school/young puppy love (Yk his version before he supposedly “died” from explosion and had a 180 degree change in attitude) because I imagine him taking me to school and picking me up after (he’s always gonna wait for me even though he has practice), writing love notes on my post its then placing them all over my dorm room, teaching me physics and helping me with my homework whenever i’m struggling with it (he’s a consistent dean’s lister and academic achiever), winking and pointing at me whenever he scores a three pointer in his basketball games (he’s the mvp ofc) then still making time to see me during class breaks no matter how far he’s building is from mine (he’s an aerospace engineering student, i am a business related student) and finally cooking for me during exams seasons cause he knows how stressed I am during those period, even though he’s swamped with his own work. It’s just these cute, young, and high school type of love that’s just so innocent and pure like we’re known as the sweethearts of the school that kind of sweet couple that everyone envies because they also want that young, innocent, and sweet love 😫😫😫😫 it’s just those random things that he does that reminds me of his love!!
-🦉
hello beloved 🤍 and sorry for the late reply! 🤧
okay first off — may satoru always be the biggest love of your life bc that precious man deserves to have a permanent residency in your heart, rent-free throne built and everything. no one should be dethroning him!! he’s the blueprint. the original. the standard. the love that all other loves are measured against 🥹
but now onto the other loves jakajksjs
oh sylus 😩 he will find you and love you in every lifetime !! and there’s something so beautiful about the big bad boss of the N109 zone being soft for just one person and one person alone. like?? he’s out here being everyone’s worst nightmare and he could literally destroy everything left and right but he chooses to melt into your hands instead bc you are his safe space 🥹 lets his guard down so easily around you because he wants to be loved by you so bad MY HEARTTTT
and now i’m weak in the knees bc the way you talk about caleb 😩 like STOP that kind of love that innocent school-sweetheart energy is so unmatched !! he’s literally first love that turns into forever type of boy and i’m so unwell about it 🥹

studying in a high ranking university is lowkey so funny as someone who has no family in academia or industry. “my mom is in aerospace engineering” “my grandpa was a nuclear engineer” yeah well my dad dropped out of engineering school and my mom stopped helping me on my math homework when i got to high school

supercut of tony stark, all the stages and the stars, through ages six to twenty-one.
read below or on ao3 here
Tony Stark. Six. Small hands, already calloused. Loves helping mom bake blueberry pie. Loves falling asleep in her arms. Loves building motorcycle engines because it earns him a pat on the shoulder from dad. Hates dinner parties. Would rather be doing algebra. Can never sit still. Eats a pound of candy and stays up until three. Makes Jarvis promise not to tell. The atomic bomb sounds really cool. What does he want to be when he grows up? His dad, obviously.
Tony Stark. Seven. Too long hair, until mom forces him to get it cut. Loves the newly painted red walls in his room - thanks, Jarvis. Loves sitting on mom’s lap as she plays piano. Does not love mom and dad fighting. Names the robots, makes them hats to wear, pretends they’re listening to him when he talks. Wishes his dad would shut up about Captain America. Hates Captain America. Learns integrals. They’re cool. Phillips Academy is not. No red walls here. Everyone is spoiled and uptight and at least six years older than him. Mom laughs and calls him a hypocrite. Misses her. Misses Jarvis. Misses dad.
Tony Stark. Eight. Dirt always under his fingernails. Loves his secret pet mouse - his roommates better not snitch. Loves calling his mom at 2 AM to tell her about the brilliant calculator he coded. She says he needs sleep, his growth will be stunted. Doesn’t care. Robots are way more important than height. Draws rocket designs. Draws mom. Draws dad, but it doesn’t look right, he’s smiling in it. Draws a CPU instead. James Partridge laughs at his jokes and is kind of cool. Has someone to talk to now. Misses home a little less.
Tony Stark. Nine. Still short, still doesn’t sleep. Loves the new music player he gets from Jarvis. Loves the private jet rides home during break, everything looks so small from up here, flying. Kind of loves James. Wins a ton of awards. Gets caught doodling on a library book, rolls his eyes and says to bill his dad for it. Calls everyone a dummy. “Stop acting like you’re better than everyone else, Stark.” Genuinely confused: “but I am.” Needs to play rock music while doing calculus homework or else he gets bored out of his mind. Roommate (annoying prick) complains. Bribes the school to let him room with James instead. Being Tony Stark is awesome. Dad’s away on a trip during all of summer. Mom was dragged with him. Being Tony Stark is awesome only sometimes.
Tony Stark. Ten. Looks more and more like dad, according to mom. Loves when Obie calls him a prodigy. The world is too slow. His brain is too fast, too loud. Calls his english teacher Cucumber because she always picks out the cucumbers in her salads. Calls Christian Edwards Straw because he’s a suck-up. Calls Violet Reynolds Wisteria because her hair looks way more like wisteria than violets. Calls his biology teacher a dumbass because he is one. Spends Christmas alone with Jarvis, again. Starts to not mind so much anymore. Makes Jarvis a stocking, stitches it himself. He’s proud.
Tony Stark. Eleven. Grows three inches. Loves surfing when he’s at the LA house. Loves yelling the Jeopardy answers before the contestants say them. ACDC is cool. So is aerospace engineering. Likes that everyone knows his name and wants to be his friend. Writes illegibly. His e’s look like c’s and his r’s look like i’s. “No mom I don’t want to go take fucking handwriting classes.” “Anthony, please, watch your language.” Way too easily hacks into the school’s grading system to change James’s chemistry grade. Builds a robot that can understand his voice. Calls it Dum-E. Affectionately.
Tony Stark. Twelve. Has a powerful heart-melting smile-and-eyes combination and knows it. Is pissed off about everything. Stops trying to leave voicemails for dad. Watches James graduate. Makes the school’s PA system play Shoot to Thrill instead of the national anthem (they know it’s him, but can’t prove it). Gets Valentines from Merissa Bridges, Lily Allen, and Leslie Rockwell. On his birthday, dad’s at the Pentagon. Calls James. “James, dare me to hack the Pentagon's servers and leave my old man a message.” “Fine.” It takes him three minutes and 18 seconds.
Tony Stark. Thirteen. Blood is 25% Red Bull. Is in dire need of a better lab at school. Fixes Obie’s Lamborghini. Convinces Obie to teach him how to drive it as his reward. Kisses Julianna Moss at a really lame school football game. Sneaks out to Boston almost every weekend. Attends only his Italian literature class because Katy Dawes is in it and she’s really cute. Will bet his entire inheritance he’s the smartest person at this school, teachers included. Alcohol is gross but it helps slow his brain down a bit and allows him to sit still enough to take an exam. Doesn’t want to go to Princeton like his dad did. Visits MIT one time when he sneaks out. The place seems cool.
Tony Stark. Fourteen. Suddenly taller than mom. Wears sunglasses indoors because he plans to eventually code sensors and x-rays into them and needs to get used to it. Has taken and aced every single class offered at this school. Starts throwing out award trophies because there’s no more room for them, especially with his growing collection of robots. Gets head for the first time from Arianna Zhang. Girls are like machines, but are rewarding in a very very different way. Thank god his school is co-ed. Sleeps with Bethany Adams - sophomore, insanely curly brown hair. Goes down on Rachel Mitri - freshman, smells like lavender. Fucks Priya Shah - junior, very sharp nails, can’t remember much else, was probably too drunk. Begs dad to let him leave high school and apply to MIT. Absurdly, dad doesn’t say no.
Tony Stark. Fifteen. Ditches Phillips Academy for good, doesn’t even go to graduation. Hot rods dad’s old Ford. Dad catches him and offers to teach him how to drive it. It’s all really really weird. Tony, in a state of mild panic, talks and talks and talks about his plans for the engine, thinks he catches his dad smiling, and drops the screwdriver he’s holding because he’s so shocked. Is barely listening when his dad scolds him to be more careful. Learns how to drive, really truly drive, thinks it’s the best thing ever, already has plans to boost the horsepower. Asks mom to read over his college essays. Hacks MIT’s admissions office and displays his application across their home website. He gets in.
Tony Stark. Fifteen and a half. Officially an MIT student and embarrassingly excited about it. The lab here is almost as good as the one he has at home and everyone is at least one third as smart as he is. Rooms by himself and can play ACDC as loud as he wants. Overrides the lab’s security and stays there until 4 AM every night. Has almost completed his AI program, temporarily called Second Most Intelligent on Campus (SMIC). Is too busy building and designing to go to parties. The world seems to be keeping up with his brain. For once.
Tony Stark. Sixteen. Sleeps with Samantha Reed, who wakes up completely freaking out. He tries to calm her down, says that it’s only a two year age difference and he was perfectly able to give consent, to absolutely no avail. Gets partnered with James Rhodes for a robotics project and doesn’t feel like this James likes him that much. Calls him Rhodes because James is someone else to him. “Professor, of course I wasn’t smoking in the lab. The lithium iron overpowered and caused a minor explosion and that’s why the fire alarm went off. I’ve got it all handled.”
Tony Stark. Seventeen. Remodels Dum-E so it kind of has a personality, and behaves even more like a real friend. Gets majorly drunk one time and wakes up on the floor of a BU frat house to Rhodes, who isn’t that bad after all. Maybe he does have a real friend now. Tony and Rhodes become Rhodey and Tones, and they graduate MIT. Hugs Rhodey for the first time right before he needs to leave for the military. Doesn’t get a hug from dad. Gets an engineering position at Stark Industries instead.
Tony Stark. Eighteen. Parties so much more now that he doesn’t go to school. It’s fun not thinking about so much all the time. It’s nice being so wanted. But it’s also weird, sometimes, because a lot of the sex is kind of angry. Like they resent him for having everything. Like by fucking him they’re taking something from him.
Tony Stark. Twenty-one. Hands aren’t so small anymore, but still calloused. Wishes he could bake one more blueberry pie with his mom, or fall asleep in her arms again. Wishes he could get another pat on the shoulder from his dad (he built full missile systems. That should warrant way more than a motorcycle engine). Still hates dinner parties. Still can never sit still, without alcohol, anyway. The atomic bomb isn’t that cool in reality. It’s so hard, trying not to cry over his mom, trying to become his dad, trying to grieve death while also causing so much of it at the same time. What did he want to be when he grew up? Probably not this.

April 9th, 2025 birthday poem for dearly departed papa
Elysian fields long since embraced dada's soul
which rocketed into aerospace
(courtesy General Electric satellite)
just a tad shy of fifty four plus months ago,
nevertheless melancholia
still plucks mine heart strings.
Mine psyche still situated awry
placid countenance of yours truly doth belie
residual sadness easily prompted
can easily trigger me to cry
linkedin when grim reaper gloated
October 7th, 2020
ye did somewhat peacefully die
though methinks immortality
I did briefly espy,
when miracles of modern medicine
tried, but could not
stave off mortality nor fortify
depredations of aging concerning
one wunderkind whose accomplishments
laudatory when a young handsome guy,
whose intelligence scored high
native talent aptitude tests did imply.
The late Boyce Brandon Harris
exhibited prolific talents at young age
aside being scholastically gifted,
acquiring graduate degree
courtesy Columbia University,
freshly minted mechanical engineer
(he admirably ranked within
uppermost percentile academically),
I hashtag thy mine deceased father
(a polymath - jack-of-all-trades),
who possessed (née excelled)
at diverse creative abilities.
Aside from being schooled
as mechanical engineer,
(which courses in mathematics and science
he passed with flying colors)
his mind genetically bequeathed
to craft almost anything under the sun
evidenced first by yours truly,
the second offspring and sole son
who ofttimes felt intimidated
at being in presence
of said Renaissance man.
Handicrafts included
expending blood, sweat, and tears
to craft multitude of projects;
i. building me Flintstone (foot powered) car with wooden license plate.
ii. making playhouse for all three of us - his progeny. iii. amassing wood pile(s),

v. constructing sauna in cellar,

Unlike him who did beget me

as a lad and mediocre student to boot
promotion to next highest grade
occurred just by the skin of my teeth,
which may help to explain
why I wear dentures,
oh... these choppers worn for about
one fourth of mein kampf livingsocial.
A sense of inadequacy prevailed,
when absolute zero self esteem
strikingly and suddenly manifested
in tandem when parents moved
their young tender family within
Lower Providence School District,
but into a larger house

about one hundred acres of woodland -

Not quite two score plus ten years
spent livingsocial at 324 Level Road
(above mentioned abode alluded),
and twas there majority
mine existential highs and lows,
where nadir of mein kampf transpired,
I emotionally hit rock bottom
upon onset of prepubescence
yet major event triggering
mine major depression
set in motion,
when parents chose February 28th, 1968
to move out of shoddily constructed domicile
located on Lantern Lane.
As shared with Renee Cardone
(the therapist whose virtual sessions
linkedin courtesy Doxy.me portal -
similar to Zoom), and today April 9th, 2025 said topic broached with Alyne Hall, LCSW a social worker based in Elizabethtown, PA
that aforementioned date
marked a turning point
after which time, I floundered
experiencing irrevocable mental health issues
punctuating my psychological equilibrium
with chronic distress,
though I forgive father and mother,
who unwittingly made decision to move and unbeknownst to them set in motion and moderately contributed to careering emotional rupture.

Week 10: UC3M Campus Life
Buenas! It’s hard to believe that as I’m writing this, I’m over halfway through my time studying abroad. People always talk about how fast studying abroad feels, but I didn’t really believe it. My program with UC3M is a very long one, so I was not expecting it to feel this short.
The past couple of weeks at UC3M have been midterm weeks. There’s been a shift in the way campus feels, especially in how crowded the library is. This is one of the first similarities I’ve noticed between this university and Michigan. Overall, the differences between my home university and this school have surprised, especially given the university's high rating, numerous similar academic programs, and large international presence. It’s clear that besides academic variations, there are pretty significant dissimilarities in culture and campus life.
Academics
As I mentioned in a previous post, courses at UC3M are not set up or graded the way that they are in the United States. There is little homework, if any, and grades are based almost solely on exams. In my personal opinion, this makes it very easy to fall behind in courses. Professors for my technical courses very rarely take attendance, but without attending class regularly or attempting to complete practice problems, it would be easy to fail.
For technical courses, all of my classes have a lecture or theoretical session at the beginning of the week, followed by a practical or lab session later in that week. This gives the opportunity to practice theory learned earlier, which helps supplement the lack of homework.
Overall, I would say that fewer resources are offered to assist students in their understanding of course materials. Additionally, exams have proven to be more difficult for me and other students I’ve talked with. I definitely prefer the way courses are structured at Michigan for my own personal understanding of the course material.
Culture
The Spanish culture has definitely creeped its way into campus here, despite the fact that a lot of students at this university are international. First and foremost, there seems to be less of a focus on work compared to back home. Libraries open later and close earlier. At Michigan, I’m used to studying on campus late in the evening. This change has forced me to take a more balanced approach to school.
In addition, campus feels far more social. It is very rare to see students eating lunch alone, and usually prohibited to eat lunch in places besides the cafeteria. Instead of doing work while eating, I’ve been spending more time talking with friends over lunch.
Campus Life
UC3M campus life is definitely not as dominant as Michigan. Rather than school being the focal point of a college student’s life, determining what someone is involved with in and outside the classroom, there is more of a focus on life outside campus entirely. School sports teams don’t exist to my knowledge. Club involvement, and even the number of clubs, is pretty limited. There are not nearly as many campus events or fairs, and the campus is not nearly as busy either.
This has allowed me the opportunity to explore outside of school more here, which has been really nice for my personal experience studying abroad. I’m glad that the way the school is structured means I get to spend more time with friends exploring Madrid than at school.
What’s next:
This past weekend, my friends and I went to Barcelona, which I’ll share more about in my next blog! I’ve been a bit sick since Paris, but I’m hoping to get back into a running routine with the weather being so nice this upcoming week. Stay tuned for more!
Best,
Alyssa Cheslek

AEROSPACE ENGINEERING, AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING AND AVIONICS Aerospace engineering is also known as rocket science. The sub-disciplines of aerospace engineering are aeronautical engineering, astronautical engineering and avionics engineering.
Aeronautical engineering deals with all types of aircraft that flies within the earths atmosphere whereas astronautical engineering deals with aircraft that operate outside of the earths atmosphere, like spacecraft, satellites, rockets etc.
Avionics engineering, on the other hand deals with the electrical aspects of aerospace engineering. Aerospace engineering is a highly complex discipline and in course of time, went on to include more disciplines like manufacturing, structural analysis, fluid dynamics, propulsion and aerodynamics.
Because of this reason, you will often find aerospace engineering teams made up of specialists from the other engineering disciplines as well.

Wren brightens up at Tim's question. "Oh! Well all of them actually," He laughed sheepishly. "I started off learning 'bout civil engineering--I did kinda rebuild Gotham after all, you have no idea how many codes those places were breakin' I was doin' 'em a favour. Then I learned electrical engineerin' and auto mechanics at the same time, my brother taught me those when I was pretty young, I actually help him with his auto shop sometimes. Then I taught myself mechanical engineerin' all on my own while I was on the streets, helped me develop the skills I needed for my, uh, other job. And that obviously transfered over 't weapons engineerin', and I stuck with that for a long time, also for job reasons." He laughed. "I also got into aerospace engineerin' 'cause that's what my brother went 't school for. He has a masters ya know, and I used 't do his homework for him. He always got so annoyed when I got a better grade than him. But--Oh! I actually got into chemical engineerin' some time ago, caught the eye of scarecrow and he hired me for a job a while back 't make him some better configured gas dispensers, he really liked 'em..." Wren trailed off.
"Ah... now I'm the one ramblin' ya ear off," He laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I haven't even gotten into the thick of it. I just love workin' with 'm hands like that. Seriously, if ya like the high density electromagnetic light shifter I made ya, ya should come see what I build in my shop."
Wren knocks on the door. He seems to be doing that a lot lately.
"Heya, love. 'M here. Can I get one of ya lovely kisses?"
@wren-beowulf
Tim opens the door letting Wren in before hugging him tightly and kissing him. "God I missed you." He mumbled against his lips.

Traveling has become simpler and faster with the advent of airplanes. Aerospace engineering is the branch of engineering that has made air and space travel faster and easier.
This aeronautical engineering discipline has several things in common with mechanical engineering. However, this is a specialized course that specifically relates to applying engineering principles to aerospace applications.
This interesting branch of engineering teaches students how to make spacecraft, including airplanes, satellites, missiles, aircraft, spaceships, hybrid cars, etc. Students who wish to pursue a career in space organizations like NASA or wish to become aerospace engineers usually pursue this branch of engineering. Aerospace engineering has two important branches, aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering.
The program is available as both bachelor’s and master’sdegree programs. In the former case, the course material focuses on clearing the basics of several engineering disciplines that are related to the operations of an aircraft. These include mathematics, aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, control engineering, principles of propulsion, aircraft structural design, material science, avionics, astrodynamics, etc. Apart from designing the aircraft, aerospace engineers are also responsible for safety testing, risk assessment, flight performance, etc.
Specialization Options Available to Aerospace Engineers
Some of the specialization areas available to aerospace engineering students include combustion engineering, helicopter aerodynamics, spacecraft technology, aircraft engine and instrument systems, rockets and missiles, airframe maintenance, repair, and cryogenics. Apart from this, safety systems, control engineering, and the study of advanced materials like micro-gravity materials are other electives available to these students.
In the past few years, significant development has occurred in the aerospace vehicle design area to improve aerospace engineering applications. These advances have led to improved fuel injection and atomization processes, better propulsion systems for air and space travel, the study of fuel cells and ramjets, and the sophistication of sensor and control systems. These topics can be further explored by research to yield better results for the aviation and space industry. Some interdisciplinary domains which have become popular for doctoral research in the field of aerospace engineering include propulsion systems, aerodynamics and shape design, control and guidance systems, structural design, rotorcraft technology, etc.

Why Do Students Require Aerospace Engineering Homework Help?
While it is interesting and intriguing, the subject can be extremely challenging for aerospace engineering students. If you are pursuing a degree in the course, you may require professional assistance to help you with complex assignments, especially if you desire good grades. Some of the topics covered under aerospace engineering which may require expert assistance include:
• Fluid mechanics — The flow of air within the aircraft is essential. This subject and its sub-branch, the computational fluid system, uses computer applications to fix fluid mechanics problems.
• Control engineering — Using mathematical models, students learn how to design dynamic behavior systems.
• Propulsion — This subject helps you understand how an aircraft works and flies at high altitudes. You get to learn about turbomachinery, jet engines, etc.
• Aircraft structure –The subject deals with the forces and the physical structure of objects that helps them fly. The course helps students to design low-cost and lightweight aircraft that can maintain the integrity of the structure.
• Astrodynamics — Understanding orbital elements and their movements can help in space science. This engineering subject helps students to anticipate orbitalelements using a few variables.
• Electrotechnology — This subject involves studying electronics that are helpful in aerospace engineering.
• Material sciences — Learning about aircraft structures is important for building any aircraft or modifying any existing structure for improved performance is integral to aerospace engineering.
• Aerodynamics –Students learn aerodynamics principles that tell them how anything travels in the air and how they interact with each other. This helps in designing aircraft.

Why is it so easy to find motivation for some things and so hard to find it for others?
This is a genuine question, if anyone has any real answer I would love to hear it.
Currently I should be working on my Aero Design homework. It’s a class I enjoy, a subject I find very interesting, and the project is due in two days. Despite all of that, I can’t find the motivation to actually get the project done, and I know I’m going to regret it tomorrow when I have to cram it all in but I just can’t do it right now.
On the other hand, I have a million fic ideas running through my head and I’m getting through at least a thousand words an hour on the one I’m working on right now. This is also something I enjoy, but there’s no deadline and I’m having no trouble finding the motivation for this.
Is it just the fact that there’s a deadline? Or is it something else? Why is it so hard to find motivation for one thing and not for the other, when I honestly enjoy both and find both interesting? Someone please weigh in help me.

Note
Twist Matchup for a female (me) please!
I’m 5’3, 18, and sort of a tomboyish person, but that doesn’t exactly make me brash. Although I’d say I’m sort of eccentric, I guess I’m also grounded in a way that I’m mature. I also think a lot and just don’t fear a lot of things if that makes any sense? Like, if I don’t have a reason to fear or dislike someone, I won’t despite what they or others say? I don’t know if I'm bad at explaining things.
I like things like art, taking long walks, staying up late, and cooking surprisingly. Though, aside from my hobbies I’m interested in architecture, history, space and engineering. I’m actually bad at history, so having someone to actually help would really be great- I usually spend my time working, which usually include club activities, school, work, homework, etc. So, I guess I’m naturally up and running. Though I usually spend my free time drawing, reading, or just thinking about a lot of things. I dislike laziness and dishonesty, so there is that.
I’d say my love language is more on the gentler, easy going side with touching (hugs, cuddling, etc.) but also words of affirmation and spending time with my s/o. Sometimes, I just like to enjoy their presence while we go for a simple date to get some food or something, or do our own thing but together in a sense. I also don’t mind comforting my partner as well, and just holding him and whatnot. For my partner, I want someone who is gentle, but also enjoys the simple things. Perhaps we don’t know much about each other’s interests, but we’re still interested and listen to one another. For example, I can teach the guy about engineering and whatnot, since I’m studying that. Someone who is loyal and is willing to be a comfort. Of course I will do the same for him, but yknow, sometimes you need a partner to just cuddle with after a long day.
Some other misc things include:
I’m an INFJ
I have a sweet tooth. Vanilla ice cream and tiramisu are just- yes please!
I’m bilingual (Japanese and English) and am Japanese American
I love dark and gothic academia, as much as I enjoy robotics and aerospace
I’m a sucker for mystery. Whether it’s just literature or the person in question, I’m a sucker for that.
Apologies for this being so long ;0;
You are matched with....
Lilia!!!
Tumblr media
- He is sort of the same, odd but mature and not scared of much things.
-He says up late playing games with Idia and loves it when you join.
-He also likes art , like music and you also like art too.
-Lilia also likes hugs and cuddles, especially in quiet evenings, even though most of the time, he is the lively one.
-Lilia can be gentle and since he's lived through so many things, he knows to appreciate the small things in life.
-Lilia is the best options for you since you both have so much in common.

“You’re asking me about my theories? I’ve waited years for someone to ask me about my theories!"
Hera and Rhea are Dr. Pryce's daughters! Rhea is older by a few years. Dr. Pryce does, in fact, call her the "prototype." They were donor conceived, Dr. Pryce wouldn't want anyone else to have legal claim to them and she was able to pick who she thought would give them the best gene pool.
She was very disappointed when Rhea wasn't the perfect little clone she wanted. Rhea has selective mutism, she met Lovelace and her squad freshman year bc she tutored Sam in ASL. They uncovered some shady practices Goddard University had been hiding for decades, but before they could reveal anything they were all conveniently expelled. Rhea was disowned, she moved in with Lovelace and misses her baby sister. Once Lovelace manages to get back into the uni Rhea begs her to keep an eye on Hera. Rhea was majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Astronomy before she was expelled. She wanted to be an astronaut!!
Hera tried very hard to be the perfect little clone her mother wanted, but Dr. Pryce ultimately shot herself in the foot bc the immense pressure she put on Hera is the reason she has such crippling anxiety! Actually for a while everyone thought she was. Dumb because her homework grades were always terrible but she always aced every test. Turns out her brain just works a little funky and she doesn't do well in a traditional school setting! She had a stutter from an early age that never went away because her anxiety just got worse! That's how she meets Eiffel, he helps her pass their Gen Ed public speaking course freshman year in exchange for helping him pass,,,,everything else. Hera also definitely graduated high school at 17 with an associates and started college immediately so she's a baby!!
She's majoring in like. Computer Science with a focus in AI development and coding or something because that's what her mom wants, but really she'd like to be a kids librarian OR a music major. She plays a lot of instruments!!! Cutter said that was where Miranda went wrong with Rhea, she wasn't well rounded enough. Speaking of--
Hera was also Cutter's favorite, he all but forgot Rhea as soon as Hera started developing a personality. He taught her piano and liked to dress her up and he's the only reason she got to celebrate Halloween exactly once! It's one of her fondest childhood memories.
Hera is actually useless for sharing notes because the way she organizes and writes things down makes no sense to anyone except her. She has her own shorthand and everything. When they all study together she takes up a whole table with just her notebooks. (She will rewrite her notes in a ""normal"" Way for Eiffel when he misses class tho)
Hera misses Rhea so much and as soon as Lovelace joins their study group she catches a moment alone with her and asks if she's heard from Rhea at all since "the incident" and when Lovelace says they're roommates Hera gets so excited she can't get a full sentence out for like. Five minutes.
Lovelace and Eiffel are the only ones who know that Hera is Dr. Pryce's daughter, and Eiffel only barely knows about Rhea because Hera doesn't talk about her much.
Hera didn't go to a single party her entire freshman year. Eiffel (who DJ's on weekends) convinces her to come with him and Lovelace and Minkowski to a party or two sophomore year. She insists on being DD and stands in the corner with a water bottle the whole time.
Something happens at the end of sophomore year that has Hera moving in with Eiffel to get her away from Dr. Pryce, and then the Summer before Junior year is when she's finally convinced to enjoy a party. That's where she meets Maxwell, and they bond over having terrible families. Maxwell actually has to talk Hera down from a panic attack because Eiffel and Lovelace taught her how to do shots and she loved it until it all hit at once and she freaked out about Dr. Pryce finding out.
Also. I need to stress that I'm not an Eiffera shipper. I am a borderline hater, in fact. BUT I think everyone thinks Eiffel and Hera are dating. It's a constant struggle. They are never beating the allegations. Maxwell is distraught and pining because the cute girl from the party has a boyfriend and Hera is terrified to come out to anyone who's not Eiffel so she just deals with it until one day Maxwell makes a comment about it during their study group (Jacobi and Maxwell joined after the party ofc) and she just "I can't take this anymore--guys. I'm a lesbian. Can we stop speculating about my non-relationship with Doug and study now?"
This post is getting so long but when I say this is the most fleshed out au I've ever had in my head. I mean it.
Y'all don't understand how much I love Hera. I think about her endlessly. I am she and she is me. Ask me about college au human Hera I have so many little details abt her and Rhea in my brain right now

Worried Of Getting Good Grades? Be the Topper with Our MATLAB Assignment Help
Matlab is a mathematical programming language, built by Mathworks, an American company. Established in 1984 by Steve Bangert, Jack Little and Cleve Moler. MATLAB is the abbreviation for 'MATrix LABoratory'. Matlab is a tool for numerical visualization and computation. The basic data element of Matlab is a matrix and it is used to manipulate array-based data. This is almost entirely written in C++ and the little remaining part is written in Matlab itself and PERL. You can even compile Matlab programs and run it as stand-alone applications.
The Matlab guide, plotting including desktop UIs (User Interfaces) are written in Java. Matlab is useful in many fields like biotechnology, defense, aerospace, data simulations, finance, mathematical modeling, algebra, geometry, oil and gas drilling, marine engineering, statistics, 3D analysis, and research and development. However, when automated processes collect large quantities of data using computers, it can be evaluated using Matlab from Mathworks.
Perfect examples of the automated data collection are psycho-physical experiments like FMRI, EEG, Eye Tracking, internet questionnaires, Galvanic Skin Resistance Measurements and log files. Large volumes of data found in those analyses are too huge to be analyzed with the use of regular spreadsheets and then exporting it to SPSS or Statistica. Recalculating entire data-sets with revised parameters is finished more correctly with the use of Matlab.

Week 3: Belgian Delights to Backpacking Dreams
Week three of my study abroad adventure in France has been nothing short of exhilarating. Over the weekend, I decided to venture beyond the borders of France and explore the charming city of Brussels. A quick trip to Quai de Bercy (the Paris City Centre Bus Station) and a four hour bus ride later, I was saying hello to Brussels! The journey began with iconic sights that left me in awe – from the Grand Place to the Atomium, each corner of the city seemed to tell a story of its own. However, what truly stole my heart were the delectable Belgian waffles and the exquisite Belgian beer that added a flavorful touch to my weekend escapade. My Belgian Waffle was covered in Whipped Cream and White Chocolate sauce and let me tell you, this might have been the sweetest & creamiest waffle I've ever eaten.
Returning to my studies on Monday was a stark contrast to the leisurely weekend, as I delved into classes and even faced my first homework assignment. I had to complete some Fourier Transform work in MatLab, and honestly, so far I've really enjoyed the French education systems. It's characterized by a longer semester allowing for a relaxed pace with less or no homework and more breaks in between. The academic challenges were complemented by a newfound passion – rowing. ENSEA, the school I am attending, offers a rowing club, and I decided to give it a try. I've rowed extensively in high school, but lost touch since then. The rhythmic motions of rowing against the serene backdrop of the French countryside provided a refreshing break from the intellectual pursuits.
As the week progressed, I found a balance between academia and recreation, allowing myself to fully immerse in the rich experiences that France has to offer. Thursday marked the beginning of my preparations for the upcoming break from school, where I'll be embarking on a 20-day backpacking journey through Spain and Portugal. The anticipation of exploring new cultures, landscapes, and cuisines fueled my excitement.
The weekend brought another round of adventures as I visited the enchanting Montmartre with my girlfriend Sneha from Michigan, who's also abroad in Paris studying at HEC Paris. The panoramic views of the city at sunset, the Wall of Love adorned with "I love you" declarations in countless languages, and the warming sensation of Vin Chaud (hot wine) made this day an unforgettable chapter of my journey. Each step I took seemed to lead me to a new discovery, a hidden gem waiting to be explored. The evening ended with a beautiful view of the sunset over Paris atop Montmarte with Sneha.

Also, super exciting--EVERYONE in Paris where's overcoats and as an early birthday gift, Sneha got me an amazing Parisian overcoat!

Sunday was dedicated to art and history at the Louvre. Standing before the iconic Mona Lisa, I couldn't help but feel a profound connection to the artistic legacy that has shaped the world. The Louvre itself, with its vast collection of masterpieces, offered a glimpse into the cultural tapestry of humanity.
Looking ahead, Thursday of the next week signals the beginning of my much-anticipated break from school. With a backpack on my shoulders and a spirit of adventure in my heart, I am set to explore the wonders of Spain and Portugal. The journey will include a few days of relaxation on the beaches of Tenerife, particularly Playa de Las Americas. As I packed my bags over the weekend, excitement and anticipation filled the air, knowing that new experiences and friendships await me on this backpacking odyssey.
In the midst of academia, rowing, and weekend explorations, my study abroad adventure in France continues to unfold with surprises and discoveries at every turn. Stay tuned for more tales from the road as I embark on the backpacking journey of a lifetime!
À bientôt,
