This might be my favourite cover because for one thing it gets me invested in the potential story like WHY is Cass in jail. I can think of a thousand reasons why people would want to arrest her but why has she let them, that's the part I'm most intrigued by.
Secondly, Cass looks so much like Shiva here that I'm pretty sure her mugshot would give Bruce a jump scare.
#dc#cassandra cain#dc rambles#batfam#Dinah about to get another long call from Babs about how she did not raise cassandra to be like this#And as her step mentor she needs to set a better example. Blowing up wonder woman#Getting jailed by amazons meeting yet ANOTHER girl to the point Babs needs a chart to keep up with love interests#And now getting arrested AGAIN#Bruce is giving out that this is Babs fault because Dinah is her situationship#And that's the part that irks most of all like she cannot let Bruce have this over her

Anthropic Claude 4: A new era for intelligent agents and AI coding
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/anthropic-claude-4-a-new-era-for-intelligent-agents-and-ai-coding/
Anthropic Claude 4: A new era for intelligent agents and AI coding
Anthropic has unveiled its latest Claude 4 model family, and it’s looking like a leap for anyone building next-gen AI assistants or coding. The stars of the show are Claude Opus 4, the new powerhouse, and Claude Sonnet 4, designed to be a smart all-rounder.
Anthropic isn’t shy about its ambitions, stating these models are geared to “advance our customers’ AI strategies across the board.” They’re positioning Opus 4 as the tool to “push boundaries in coding, research, writing, and scientific discovery,” while Sonnet 4 is billed as an “instant upgrade from Sonnet 3.7,” ready to bring “frontier performance to everyday use cases.”
Claude Opus 4: The new coding champ
When Anthropic calls Claude Opus 4 its “most powerful model yet and the best coding model in the world,” you sit up and take notice. And they’ve got the numbers to back it up, with Opus 4 topping the charts on crucial industry tests, hitting 72.5% on SWE-bench and 43.2% on Terminal-bench.
But it’s not just about quick sprints. Opus 4 is built for the long haul, designed for “sustained performance on long-running tasks that require focused effort and thousands of steps.” Imagine an AI that can “work continuously for several hours”—that’s what Anthropic claims.
This should be a massive step up from previous Sonnet models and could expand what AI agents can achieve, tackling problems that require real persistence.
Claude Sonnet 4: For daily AI and agentic work
While Opus 4 is the heavyweight champion, Claude Sonnet 4 is shaping up to be the versatile workhorse, promising a significant boost for a huge range of applications. Early feedback from those who’ve had a sneak peek is glowing.
For instance, GitHub “says Claude Sonnet 4 soars in agentic scenarios” and is so impressed they “plan to introduce it as the base model for the new coding agent in GitHub Copilot.” That’s a hefty endorsement.
Tech commentator Manus is also impressed, highlighting its “improvements in following complex instructions, clear reasoning, and aesthetic outputs.”
The positive vibes continue with iGent, which “reports Sonnet 4 excels at autonomous multi-feature app development, as well as substantially improved problem-solving and codebase navigation—reducing navigation errors from 20% to near zero.” That’s a game-changer for development workflows.
Sourcegraph is equally optimistic, seeing the model as a “substantial leap in software development—staying on track longer, understanding problems more deeply, and providing more elegant code quality.”
Augment Code has seen “higher success rates, more surgical code edits, and more careful work through complex tasks,” leading them to make Sonnet 4 their “top choice for their primary model.”
Hybrid modes and developer delights
One of the really clever bits about the Claude 4 family is its hybrid nature. Both Opus 4 and Sonnet 4 can operate in two gears: one for those near-instant replies we often need, and another that allows for “extended thinking for deeper reasoning.”
This deeper thinking mode is part of the Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise Claude plans. Good news for everyone, though – Sonnet 4, complete with this extended thinking, will also be available to free users, which is a fantastic move for making top-tier AI more accessible.
Anthropic is also rolling out some tasty new tools for developers on its API, clearly aiming to supercharge the creation of more sophisticated AI agents:
Code execution tool: This lets models actually run code, opening up all sorts of possibilities for interactive and problem-solving applications.
MCP connector: Introduced by Anthropic, MCP standardises context exchange between AI assistants and software environments.
Files API: This will make it much easier for AI to work directly with files, which is a big deal for many real-world tasks.
Prompt caching: Developers will be able to cache prompts for up to an hour. This might sound small, but it can make a real difference to speed and efficiency, especially for frequently used queries.
Leading the pack in real-world performance
Anthropic is keen to emphasise that its “Claude 4 models lead on SWE-bench Verified, a benchmark for performance on real software engineering tasks.” Beyond coding, they stress that these models “deliver strong performance across coding, reasoning, multimodal capabilities, and agentic tasks.”
Despite the leaps in capability, Anthropic is holding the line on pricing. Claude Opus 4 will set you back $15 per million input tokens and $75 per million output tokens. Claude Sonnet 4, the more accessible option, is priced at $3 per million input tokens and $15 per million output tokens. This consistency will be welcomed by existing users.
Both Claude Opus 4 and Sonnet 4 are ready to go via the Anthropic API, and they’re also popping up on Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. This broad availability means businesses and developers worldwide can start experimenting and integrating these new tools fairly easily.
Anthropic is clearly doubling down on making AI more capable, particularly in the complex realms of coding and autonomous agent behaviour. With these new models and developer tools, the potential for innovation just got a serious boost.

The Decline of Tupperware...What Happened?
" The classic brand has filed for bankruptcy. This video discusses the company's history and outlines some of the biggest reasons behind its struggles. "
Video source: Company Man
We suggest reading the article below as complementary information to the video:
"Tupperware has been struggling for years. Three charts show just how bad it’s been.By Alex Leeds Matthews, CNN,Published 10:43 AM EDT, Sun April 23, 2023:
CNN — Tupperware may be on the verge of collapse, but the 77-year-old business’ potential demise isn’t necessarily a harbinger of worsening economic conditions.
While sales data shows the rest of the US consumer retail sector — including some of the company’s competitors in the food storage space — seems to be recovering from the pandemic dip, Tupperware sales continue to decline.
Some business experts say that’s because Tupperware has failed to adapt to changing consumer behaviors. And now, faced with mounting debt, declining sales and plummeting stock prices, perhaps little can be done to save the company from bankruptcy.
Tupperware shares hit their lowest price in history Following the announcement that the company could go out of business, Tupperware stock fell to $1.24 per share on April 10.
In a statement emailed to CNN, a Tupperware spokesperson said the brand has been affected by “the pandemic, inflation and high interest rates,” and is working with financial advisers and partnerships including Target and Amazon to strengthen the brand.
“For over 75 years, Tupperware Brands has been one of the world’s most beloved, iconic household brands — and we are excited to remain at the heart of dining room tables, kitchen counters and pantry shelves for many more years to come,” the spokesperson said in the statement.
The Tupperware brand name is so iconic that it’s become shorthand for all food leftover storage. That might be part of the problem, as other brands have emerged to compete against Tupperware, sometimes at lower price points.
“A great brand name can be a blessing or a curse,” said Christie Nordhielm, a marketing consultant and adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. “It’s a curse when you kind of rest on your laurels and milk the brand for profits and don’t continue to invest in a brand.”
If you bought your “tupperware” in a store before October 2022, it was unlikely to be the actual brand. The company just introduced its products into Target stores last fall, a move that is likely, “way too little, too late,” said Barbara Kahn, a professor of marketing at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
“At worst, it’s one of these things where their brand name is almost generic, and not in a good way,” Kahn said. “That doesn’t have to be a bad thing… People might call things Kleenex, but they know the difference,” she added.
Tupperware has historically only sold to consumers through “direct sales,” most commonly at “Tupperware parties.” These parties were gatherings where people who enjoyed the product would demo and sell the Tupperware brand to their friends and acquaintances. That direct selling model worked well at first but fell out of favor as consumer habits changed in the decades preceding the pandemic, according to Kahn.
The fact that Tupperware moved away from that direct sales model and into Target was an “admission” that their core business model wasn’t working, said Tim Calkins, a marketing professor at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business. While some businesses may have taken hits during the pandemic, Tupperware’s decline wasn’t sudden.
“The company has gradually lost steam,” Calkins said. “It hasn’t gone off a cliff so much as over many years it’s just become weaker.”
The pandemic, which affected most businesses negatively, just exacerbated those failures of Tupperware to adjust to changing consumer behaviors and competitive landscapes.
“You could have seen them making that transition very beautifully, but instead they moved into brick and mortar stores,” Nordhielm explained. “If you go and look at Tupperware in a Target, all you’re doing is seeing how incredibly undifferentiated they are, how many other substitute storage containers there are available.”
Instead, people tend to compare the products based on price, Kahn said, and Tupperware’s most valuable asset — its brand equity — loses all its meaning. Tupperware has also failed to innovate in response to these changes in competition and consumer behavior, Nordhielm said. As a result, Tupperware’s sales have been declining for years.
Tupperware sales trending down The decline in Tupperware's sales did not start with the pandemic's economic woes.
Meanwhile the rest of the consumer retail sector is showing signs of recovery after the pandemic. At the worst of the pandemic, sales saw a stark decline, but they have been improving since, recovering more than 60 percent since their nadir in April 2020.
“The state of the consumer remains relatively strong,” Hamilton said. “If a recession is in the cards, it’s not showing up yet in measures for the consumer sector.”
But the recovery in sales doesn’t mean other retailers are immune to collapse. Calkins points out that financing remains tight, creating a challenge for businesses across the sector that face high debt burdens or need support for innovation. Tupperware may be an early casualty because it was already in a weak position. The brand had to restructure its debts in May 2020.
“Sadly, I think this is not the last one of these stories we’re gonna hear,” Calkins said. " "

be honest, less because i don't trust you to be and more cause i have no other segway to ask this: when does height difference become size difference for you? like where does that thin line start/end?
there is n0 difference. you can't be a different height and n0t a different size genius.
oh fine, smug jackassery aside.
it's kind of relative depending 0n the heights of th0se involved t0 begin with. to me any 'normal' difference in height doesn't register as a fetish at all, people just come that way and so it'd be like saying you have a 'fetish' for something like eye c0lor or hairstyle. IE: An ordinary preference. if s0me 3'0 girl is with a 4'0 guy thats not any s0rt of kink c0ntext in my books, its just life.
i'm getting off 0n a tangent. the essence of the thing is at least one party being 0utside a the norm. for m0st of y0u humans that's like starting somewhere in the 7+ feet range (paired with anyone more average). there's y0ur kink statistics, for whatever reas0n.
//In Sollux's case he's 4'0. That'd be a little like someone with dwarfism IRL (I think medical dwarfism starts slightly lower but whatever), but he is of course entirely proportional besideshisdick. More than that, everyone ABOVE like 5'5 or so is basically off the charts of his original timeline where the joke is that he's of average height. That is of course the cheating trick of it, an excuse for size diff focused writing without actually needing either party to be some kind of statistical outlier. When its wanted of course, or in neutral interactions between characters where it doesn't matter.
TL;DR: Probably around the part where someone is 2 or more feet above or below the average for a world. Or more generally when one partner is around half/twice the size of the other. Immediately noticeable as being different. If you tag 6'4 Chaddeus X Sally Fivefootfour as 'Size Difference' I will be under your fucking bed at night.
