CAPRICORN SIRENS lure you in with their deeply earthy, erotic energy. They are smoldering volcanoes underneath their cool IDGAF exterior and this enticing contrast drives people wild! 🔥 They have monstrous sex drives yet are very grounded in their personal power and selective about who they entertain, so others seek their approval. The Female Sirens often attract highly influential and/or dominant men who crave her submission and loyalty. Their desire to control her can truly consume them! 💯 They see her as the Ultimate Challenge and want her AT ALL COSTS. Their results vary depending upon what *she* actually wants. For instance, Amal Clooney. She was able to capture the heart of life-long bachelor George Clooney with impeccable ease. 🩷 He looks at her with stars in his eyes! They have the ideal marriage. Mariah Carey ultimately made Tommy Matola (the Record Executive who signed her to his label) wait until they were married before being intimate with him. She had such an effect on her ex-husband after **opening her luscious Pearly Gates** 🙌 that he put cameras up around the house to watch her every move. He was utterly obsessed with her! Amber Heard is an example of Capricorn Siren in full Destruction Mode. And Karrine "Superhead" Steffans in literal Maneater Mode slurping her way to THE TOP. The Male Sirens simply have Big Dick Energy - period. They are Doms, Bosses and Kings. 👑 Women yearn for them to (symbolically) suck their blood and their p***y like Robert Pattinson in 'Twilight' with carnivorous passion. 🔥 They want to surrender doggystyle to a man like Gerard Butler in the '300' movie. And even when they are stone cold killers like Suge Knight or manipulative pimps like Andrew Tate... they still command respect! They possess massive amounts of Masculine charm.

PLANET: ILUM Astronavigation Data: Ilum system, 7G sector, Unkonwn Regions Orbital Metrics: 1,078 days per year/66 hours per day Goverment: None Population: 5,200 (support crew 45%, temporary researchers 30%, military 20%, other 5%) Languages: None Terrain: Frozen lakes, mountains, ice steppes Major Cities: None Areas of Interest: Holenesh Canyon, Jedi Temple, excavation sites, various ruins Major Exports: Ilum crystals [Source: Star Wars - Force and Destiny - Nexus of Power - Force Worlds] BACKGROUND: Ilum is a small, obscure world located far out in the Unknown Regions. The fifth planet of the Ilum system, it orbits an exceedingly bright blue dwarf star called “Asar.” Surveys of the system by ancient Jedi scouts show a handful of uninhabited, inhospitable worlds that are either heavily irradiated, completely covered in ice, or both. The rest of the system is largely empty, with no asteroid belt and few navigation hazards. Due to its location in the Unknown Regions and its isolation from charted hyperspace lanes, nothing was known of the Ilum system until a wandering Jedi discovered it in the earliest days of the Republic.
Roughly equidistant from Asar and the system’s cometary cloud, Ilum is the only world in the system that can support life. “Support” may be too strong a word for the relationship between Ilum and its flora and fauna, however. It is a large, terrestrial world orbited by two small moons and encircled by a wide set of rings made mostly of ice crystals. It is a land of broad continents, towering mountain ranges, and shallow seas locked in a perpetual ice age. Huge glaciers scour the planet’s face, slowly grinding the land flat. Where the glaciers have passed, deep snows or sheets of ice dozens of meters thick entomb the surface, making agriculture impossible. Ilum's few seas are shallow and broad, their waters choked with great floating ice mountains and thick sheets of drift ice. In addition to its frozen, snowbound landscape, Ilum has an atmosphere that is a near-constantly churning vortex of storms. High winds, sleet, thick snow, and freezing rain are to Ilum what gentle winds and soft rains are to Naboo.
Life, where it can survive, does so primarily along Ilum's equatorial region. Here, at least, the temperatures are only in the double digits below freezing, which has allowed a small number of native plants and animals to evolve. A few eke out an existence on the planet’s frozen surface, but most live either in the icy seas or deep beneath the ground in the uncounted thousands of kilometers of caverns and tunnels that worm through the planet’s crust. Savage gorgodons, cunning asharl panthers, and the terrifying razhak call Ilum home, along with hardy species of small rodents, birds, and worms. Alongside these are tough plants and fungi adapted to sub-zero temperatures, many of them completely undocumented.
LIFE ON ILUM: To date, no evidence has been found to suggest that sentient life ever evolved on Ilum. There are no ruins, nothing in the fossil record, and nothing recorded in the galaxy’s various ancient databases to suggest that Ilum was ever anything more than an obscure, uninhabited frozen rock. Indeed, the planet would have stayed that way until Asar burned itself out if the Jedi hadn’t come along and stumbled onto a discovery that would make it one of the most important places in the galaxy to that ancient order.
ILUM'S HISTORY: Ilum's recorded history begins tens of thousands of years ago with its discovery by a Jedi scout whose name is lost to history, performing Force-assisted hyperspace navigation. As the scout moved through the hyperspace lanes, she was drawn to the Unknown Regions by a particularly powerful resonance in the Force. Following the siren call of the Force resonance, the scout eventually discovered a lonely, hitherto uncharted system in the far reaches of the Unknown Regions, centered around a bright, blue-white star. The Force was strong throughout the system, but there was something powerful, something special, on the fifth planet, and that's where the Jedi scout focused her attentions.
The first scout's initial reports, as well as those from sub sequent survey teams, reported a barren, windswept world of tall, jagged mountains and shallow, frozen seas locked away beneath dozens of meters of ice. No settlements or ancient ruins were discovered, and all evidence pointed to the world being devoid of sentient life. What the teams did find was a world that, despite its inhospitable environment, managed to support some plant and animal life. Packs of large felinoids stalked the planet's steppelands; huge, slow moving aquatic mammals thrived in the icy seas; powerful and aggressive humanoid reptiles haunted the many mountain chains; and plants and fungi clung to life in sheltered spots away from the constant wind. These animals and plants didn't explain the planet's strong Force shadow, however. Its presence in the Force was enormous, a fact that the surveyors could not explain until one team was chased into a mountain cavern by dangerous creatures and discovered Ilum's real wealth.
Beneath Ilum's ice sheets and permafrost, the planet's crust is honeycombed by countless kilometers of interlocking cave systems. Within these caves, the escaping survey team discovered a motherlode of pontite, mephite, and other kyber crystals—the heart of a Jedi's lightsaber. The discovery of Ilum's mineral wealth quickly changed the char acter of Ilum's exploration from one of curiosity to one of grave importance to the Jedi Council. Upon receipt of the news that Ilum possessed an incredible wealth of kyber crystals, the Council immediately dispatched teams of scholars, artisans, and warriors to secure the world and to further study its natural wealth and importance to the Force. To pro tect the crystals, the Council made a decision to keep Ilum's existence a secret from the galaxy at large, and a number of steps were taken to ensure that it stayed that way. Hyperspace surveyors mapped out an uninterrupted, dedicated hyperspace lane from Metellos, a world in the Core region, straight to Ilum's orbit. The navigation of this route was so complex that a ship’s pilot needed to be at least sensitive to the Force, if not a fully trained Jedi Master, to even attempt it. In addition, all references to Ilum in official reports were quashed, and the world was even kept from local, sector wide, and galaxy star charts.
DARK LEGENDS: For thousands of years, the Jedi Order kept Ilum and its bounty secret and safe from harm. Generations of Jedi, from the greenest Padawans to the most ancient masters, traveled from all across the galaxy to search for crystals, study the planet and its connection to the Force, and enjoy the mental quiet of the uninhabited world. There is a nearly forgotten legend that speaks of a dark and violent time in the planet’s past, however. Ancient sources suggest that the Sith may have laid siege to the world, eventually taking possession of it for a time.
ENTWINED WITH THE JEDI: With Ilum secure, the exploration of the world and its connection to the Force was begun in earnest. Numerous settle ments were founded over the subsequent decades, typically near the sites of important scientific or Force-related discoveries. At places with a particularly powerful connection to the Force, the Jedi erected temples that served as training centers or pilgrimage sites where members of the order could go to meditate and heal. In addition, thanks to the abundance of kyber crystals on the planet, the Jedi Council established a massive, baroque temple over the entrance to the largest and richest cavern complex the survey teams had discovered. Once it was completed, the council began sending Padawans to Ilum to harvest the crystal for their lightsaber and to undergo the important training rituals associated with lightsaber construction.
Countless Jedi over the millennia traveled there to build their first lightsaber or to find crystals to build new ones. Eventually, as other sources of kyber crystals were exhaust ed or became otherwise unavailable, Ilum became the Jedi’s sole source of these precious crystals. While the planet remained a place of great importance, the Jedi Council recalled those members who were living on Ilum and shuttered all their settlements and temples save for the main temple used for lightsaber construction. With the world’s inhabitants gone, its glaciers and ice sheets quickly consumed the Jedi settlements and research sites, burying them beneath dozens or hundreds of meters of ice. By the beginning of the Clone Wars, there were no permanent residents on Ilum, nor any real evidence that there ever had been, and the main temple stood empty, save for the occasional Jedi pilgrim there to find a new kyber crystal.
CRYSTAL CAVES: Home to perhaps the largest deposit of kyber crystals any where in the galaxy, Ilum’s crystal caves were said to be the Jedi’s most sacred place by none other than Jedi Master Yoda himself. Winding for countless kilometers through and beneath Ilum’s largest mountain range, the crystal caves were first explored in the ancient past. Within the labyrinth of corridors, shafts, tunnels, and chambers is a staggering wealth of the kyber crystals—mainly mephite and pontite— that make up the searing heart of every Jedi’s lightsaber. Within a few short years of the crystal caves’ discovery, the Jedi Order erected a temple over the entrance to protect the caverns from trespass and to provide shelter and training facilities for visiting Jedi. The caves eventually became a pilgrimage destination for Jedi seeking crystals for new lightsabers and were incorporated into a Padawan coming-of-age ceremony called “the Gathering.”
The stone from which the crystal caves are carved is a smooth, black, basalt-like volcanic rock that absorbs light and is surprisingly easy to work with. The crystals themselves grow unimpeded from the walls and ceilings of the caverns and can occasionally be found littering the floors of corridors and chambers. In many places, the crystals can be removed from the surrounding stone by hand, and even the most stubborn, inaccessible crystal veins require only basic hand tools to excavate. It was this ease of excavation as much as the sheer quantity of crystal deposits that made the crystal caves so valuable to the Jedi.
Despite the millennia in which the Jedi lived and worked on Ilum and the planet’s importance to the order, surprisingly little of the crystal caves’ total area has been explored. Most of the known caverns lie within the boundaries of the temple’s training area, and those few charted areas outside of the temple’s footprint are a warren of dead-end caves, tunnels that turn in on themselves and either come to abrupt ends or plunge thousands of meters into dark cracks, and a confusion of chambers, side caves, and strange rock formations. The sheer size of the cave complex is staggering, with some ancient survey records suggesting thousands or even tens of thousands of kilometers of tunnels and caves stretching deep into the bowels of the planet. In addition, the Force tends to have a distressingly disorienting effect on visitors to the caverns. So powerful is the presence of the Force in the crystal caves that it causes vivid hallucinations in even the most guarded mind. This has led many an explorer astray; countless Jedi have wandered into the uncharted portions of the crystal caves in pursuit of some phantom, never to be heard from again.
JEDI RUINS: The Jedi worked and lived on Ilum for almost as long as they existed as an order. While they never established cities there—it was too remote, too hard to reach, and too sacred to the Jedi for that—they did build scattered small settlements, research stations, temples, observation posts, and other structures on and beneath the planet’s surface. These abandoned sites lie scattered all across Ilum in various states of ruin.
Some are still intact, seemingly awaiting the return of their inhabitants; others are little more than rubble. Most, however, have been buried deep beneath the shifting glaciers and massive, slow-moving ice sheets that cover most of Ilum’s surface. Nevertheless, a number of interesting sites can still be found here and there in sheltered mountain passes, at the bottoms of valleys, or within Ilum’s labyrinthine cave systems. One such ruin is the settlement at Holenesh Canyon.
HOLENESH CANYON: Located some five hundred kilometers from the main Jedi Temple at the mouth of the crystal caves, Holenesh Canyon is a deep, sheer-sided cleft in the planet’s surface over a kilometer deep that runs for roughly ten kilometers through one of Ilum's vast mountain ranges. The settlement, once home to around one hundred sentients, was built near the canyon’s end in the shadow of the mountain range’s highest peaks. It was established millennia ago to study a strange fluctuation in the Force that seemed to occur only once every few hundred years. Named for the Jedi who first recorded the anomaly, this small, isolated outpost stood for centuries before being destroyed in an avalanche triggered by a massive groundquake coinciding with the reappearance of the Force anomaly. Many of the settlement’s inhabitants were killed as they slept, but some managed to escape with little more than the clothes on their backs or what they could grab in their flight. Further seismic disturbances, combined with freak storms, prevented the mounting of a proper rescue mission, and by the time the Jedi were able to return to the canyon, the settlement was completely covered in snow and countless tons of fallen stone.
In the millennia since the destruction of the settlement, parts of it have been exposed through erosion and seismic activity. While the buildings are barely recognizable as such, their contents were surprisingly well preserved. Thanks to the remoteness of the ruined settlement and the difficulty of reaching it, precious little has been removed from the site. Anyone possessing the skills and courage to excavate the site might unearth any number of ancient Jedi relics.
CREATURES AND CHALLENGES: Ilum's climate is exceptionally harsh. Its land and most of its surface water are locked away beneath glaciers and permanent sheets of ice. Temperatures, even in what are usually considered temperate or tropical zones on other worlds, can sink to dozens of degrees below freezing. These temperatures are typically accompanied by howling gales and blizzards full of driving snow and ice shards. Few creatures, and even fewer plants, live on Ilum. To survive in these brutal conditions, Ilum's creatures and plants are both extremely hardy and extremely dangerous.
ASHARL PANTHER [RIVAL]: Asharl panthers are one of the more common predators on Ilum. They are large, aggressive, territorial felines that make their homes in Ilum's high northern and southern latitudes. Adult asharl panthers average between two and three meters long and stand roughly one meter high at the shoulder. Their four powerful legs end in two-toed feet equipped with nonretractable claws. The creatures’ bodies are covered in dense, smooth fur in shades of white, gray, and blue that holds their body heat in to protect them from the cold and driving wind. They have broad, earless heads with pronounced brow ridges, and their faces are remark ably expressive, with short, blunt snouts and golden eyes. The most noticeable feature is a pair of long, tentacle-like sensory organs that grow from their shoulders. Asharl panthers live in small family groups and typically hunt in pairs or in groups of four.
BLISMAL [MINION]: Blismal are small, furry, inoffensive rodents who live in the tunnels and caverns deep beneath Ilum's surface. About the size of a grown human’s hand, blismal have four legs; sharp featured faces with small black eyes, round ears, and long snouts; and short, hairless tails. Their bodies are covered in thick, luxurious, silvery fur that keeps them warm and sheds water and dirt. They feed mostly on cave fungus and insects, and they are happy to be left alone in the dark to live out their lives.
Like the harmless snowfeathers, which live on the surface, blismal have few natural predators. This is largely due to their speed and cautious natures, although they do have a frighteningly effective defense mechanism. When frightened, blismal make a shrill, painful, and sustained shrieking noise to ward off attackers and call for assistance from other blismal. When three or more blismal join in, they create a howl loud enough to shatter crystals and cause cave-ins, an ability that Jedi experienced firsthand long ago. The Jedi attributed this ability to the blismal’s close connection to the Force, and were able to counter the effects of the shrieking by manipulating the Force around the creatures. In doing so, Jedi exploring Ilum's cavern system were able to capture blismal, which turned out to be relatively easy to domesticate.
GORGODON [RIVAL]: Gorgodons are, perhaps, the most famous creatures to live on frozen Ilum. They are massive, non-sentient, thick-skinned reptilian creatures with long, powerful arms, short legs, and an axe-shaped head. A thick, shaggy coat of dark gray fur covers them from their shoulders to their feet, leaving only their head, which is a sickly orange color, bare to the elements. Gorgodons are incredibly strong and can with stand almost any punishment. It is said that they can even shrug off blaster bolts. They are a dangerous combination of dumb, aggressive, and brutal, and are one of the few animals that attack for no good reason. When the Jedi first arrived on Ilum, the gorgodons were the creatures that gave them the most trouble. Throughout the Jedi Order, the name of this creature was used in threats and curses, such as “thick as a gorgodon” or “as angry as a gorgodon’s mother.”
RAZHAK [NEMESIS]: Among the most fearsome predators on Ilum, these massive creatures are as agile as they are deadly. Averaging around eight meters in length, razhak-are armored, segmented, wormlike creatures that propel themselves using rippling muscle ridges. Their bodies are broad and flat, covered with thick, chitinous plates in shades of white and blue. While they have no apparent eyes, their heads are topped with long, segmented antennae that serve as sensory organs. Their huge mouths feature multiple rows of serrated teeth.
Aggressive and solitary, razhak live in the endless tunnel systems beneath Ilum's surface. They are deceptively fast and, when they attack, they rear up like a serpent and at tempt to swallow prey whole. Anything they can’t eat in one bite they tear into pieces by grasping it in their mouth and shaking it violently. In addition to possessing great speed and a savage demeanor, razhak also can generate intense heat strong enough to rapidly melt solid ice and cause serious burns to exposed flesh. This ability allows them to tunnel through ice as though it were soft sand. Razhak usually build their nests inside of ice walls or densely packed snow, typically leaving the nest only to eat or mate.
Thankfully, while they are terrifying to behold and extremely dangerous, razhak are also easily distracted and creatures of minimal intelligence. Keeping this in mind, a clever opponent can easily outflank them, lead them into traps, or make them lose interest in attacking altogether.
SNOWFEATHER [MINION]: Snowfeathers are small, clever, flightless birds native to Ilum. Their bodies are covered in a dense layer of oily, white feathers that protects them from Ilum's bone-chilling cold and vicious weather. Relatively harmless creatures, they live in nesting colonies built into ice shelves or cliff faces.
Despite their inoffensive nature and inability to fly, snowfeathers have few natural predators, for two reasons. First, their meat tastes terrible and is mildly poisonous, causing painful cramps, bloating, and loosening of the bowels in those unfortunate enough to eat them. Second, they have a connection to the Force that gives them the ability to project an illusion that makes them seem larger and more formidable than they really are. These characteristics have allowed them to survive and even thrive on an inhospitable planet full of savage creatures like gorgodons and asharl panthers.

The recoil makes it fun
Most everyone in the known Universe agree that a stable and noise-free space ship is preferable to anything not that. You know, due to space being so bad for your health. Stability means safety, noise-free means things are not breaking, which is always great!
Pure silence, however, can be deceptive, so you do want controlled noises in there, such as small beeps at regular intervals indicating that everything is fine. Soft green and blue lights are good.
By that logic, Johann Utsushima then must hate green and blue. His ship, Kitaiyohdzha, is always blaring orange and red lights and barking annoying warnings at him.
Things like: "Low pressure" "High pressure" "Not enough power" "Overload detected" "Insufficient oxygen" "Dangerous oxygen levels"
Like, make up your mind! One or the other, stop it with the extreme ends. Johann has resorted to do the time-honored tradition of ignoring the check engine light and instead stays in his suit all the time. It's his rickety mess and he knows exactly where everything is and how it should be, don't go telling him how to run HIS ship. Especially you, ship, don't tell me you know better.
An astute observer may notice the fact that Kitaiyohdzha is a giant rail gun with a cockpit, engine, thrusters, and basic life support systems attached. Or what's left of them anyway.
Mr Utsushima loves guns. And I mean LOVES them. This one in particular. He can't get enough of it. Literally. He couldn't, so he kept ordering bigger and bigger ones. Kitaiyohdzha is the biggest one (21 meters long) he can legally get without being part of or associated with the military in some way, or registering as a "redistributer". He would not pass the background check to do either.
This, however, does not stop him from modifying his guns. It's a lot of effort, very expensive, and quite complicated. Well, for him. Because he does not document anything and not even God knows how many iterations and past modifications he has made to Kitaiyohdzha to make it what it is today.
None of the matters though. The only time the world makes sense, when everything is exactly as it should be, is when he pulls the trigger.
Space. Quivers.
You can't hear the discharge, but you can feel it from a great distance.
Johann is not at a great distance. Everyone would say he is dangerously close, and be factually correct. Not even a meter from the power generator that enables the rail gun to fire a piece of tungsten at relativistic speeds in order to completely obliterate a poor and unsuspecting little asteroid just gently floating through space. Or is it a meteor? Comet? Doesn't matter, they all explode more or less the same.
Johann likes to watch the recordings of him firing the gun. It lets him know what happened, because the moment he fires Kitaiyohdzha, every time without fail, he loses consciousness from the sudden g-forces hurtling him and the "ship" backwards for thousands of kilometers before the barely functional automatic stabilizers return him to rest.
But that moment right before his mind goes blank. THAT is something you cannot explain to others. You FEEL it. The power. The force. The raw... just, THAT.
It's the only thing that keeps him going. Where to? He doesn't care. Simply forward through life.

________
Tiny sits quietly as Shockwave cruises through space, his alt form was similar to the one they remember even if the colour scheme and feel was different. "Do you remember the first time you got the translation program working so you could talk to me?" He asked while leaning back in the seat. Shockwave's attention shifted to his lover as the Decepticon reminisced about the past, the memories of their early interactions and the development of the translation program stirring a sense of reflection within the scientist.
"Yes, I recall it, my records also still have the recording," Shockwave replied, his voice tinged with a hint of nostalgia, the first words Tiny had ever said to him were. ‘Oh thank fuck you hsve know idea how much i hate playing charades'. "It was a pivotal moment in our communication, and when I finally learnt your name."
It left a hollow ache in him, wishing they could go back to those days from those first cycles they could finally talk, they talked for ages on end. The times where He, Tiny and Traxies would sit in the garden, Tiny tending to the many different flora that Shockwave would bring home for him.
"As our communication evolved, so did our understanding of each other. I remember how many questions you had when we could finally converse ” shockwave continued, his gaze fixed on the endless expanse of stars that stretched out before them. "The translation program was one of my outbreaking projects, all because of you."
It makes Tiny let out a soft laugh. "I don't think I ever told you this, even when we did the Conjunx Ritus, it wasn't really that important to me, now it's just funny." His face seemed more relaxed as if he wasn't in so much pain any more. "The Translation got my name wrong, when you first said it, I never corrected you” he hums nonchalantly. It makes Shockwave go deathly quiet, systems processed the revelation
"I... was not aware, Why did you never correct me?” Shockwave asked his voice much quieter than expected, As Shockwave processed this newfound information, " The first time you called me Tiny. It just kinda stuck after that, and I liked how you said it. It felt like a nickname and I know it was a glitch in your vocals when you were trying to pronounce it but I liked it" Tiny explains.
"I see," Shockwave acknowledged, "May I ask, what is your true name?" Shockwave inquired, moving swiftly to dodge the debris and asteroids floating in space. "My name is Tony, but i'd rather you stick with Tiny, it.. it feels right when you say it, i'm so used to it now that I don't think I'd respond to it anymore." he states with a chuckle, closing his eyes as he rest against the seat, he hadn't felt this comfortable in a while. “I'm sorry I never told you, I kinda forgot after a while”
"Tony...," Shockwave repeated the name softly, letting the sound roll off his vocalizer; it wasn't that far off the name Tiny in truth. “Thank you for telling me” he thinks for a moment, it would do them both to atheist try and reconnect after everything. “I two have something I never Disclosed to you” the words leave him and it earns a look from Tiny. “Oh?” His brow raises as he waits for Shockwaveto continue.
“My paint wasn't always White, lime and blue” He remarks, remembering the colour he had before that which he changed because he hated how similar in colour it was to Proteus. “It was red and blue once” “Why did you change it?” Tiny questions, lay his head against his arms on the console.
“Proteus, tomany mech's associated my paint with him, one even remarked that it was like I was trying to climb into berth with him, so I changed it to colours which weren't seen in the senate so No one would assume or proposition me” it makes Tiny's eyes go wide for a moment, it was like listening to Shockwave From before, the snark in his voice the slight scoff. Yes his voice sounded different but it was almost the same tones.
“I'm glad” He starts, robotic fingers Tracing over the dark purple that Shockwave's frame now was. “Green was my favourite colour, I loved how pretty it was on you” Tiny whispers. He missed it, the purple now felt almost cold compared to the bright colours that Shockwave's frame used to flaunt. They both go quiet reminiscing over the past.

commotion can be heard from the Medical bay. A few bots in the halls give each other looks before quickly walking away so Ratchet wrath doesn't turn on them.
" stop, just fragging stop it! Ratchet, I'm not going anywhere, I'm not going to Jump i just want out of this place!, I'm going to see Sunstreaker, that's where ill be" Traxies shouts as tries to move past the medic, First aid stands off to the side watching but not willing to get between the two.
"Oh no you don't, not so fast, i still need to run full spark scan, radiation levels and Energon storage on you!" Ratchet loomed, bracing servos on either side of the door with a stern scowl. Traxies squirmed, spark pulsing panic and anger in his field. But the medic's gaze softened knowing this lashing out stemmed from trauma from everything he had learn within the Cycle. "Sunstreaker can wait. You're in no state, bitlet." Gentle servos grasped his faceplate, thumbs rubbing soothing circles.
"Ratchet!, I want space!I'm just going to see Sunstreaker!" He tries to argue back, pulling away from the medic. He just wanted to be somewhere quiet and away from the medical lab. "Traxies, please." Ratchet's voices sounded almost strained. "I know you're frightened and need space, but rushing off in this state will only make it worse."
"Ratchet, stop, Stop coddling ME!!" He snarls, optics going wide when he sees Ratchet freeze up. When Ratchet doesn't protest, Traxies quickly disappears from the room. Leaving the medic there spark aching over the situation, he cycled a frustrated ventilation. “ First Aid i'm going, if anyone comes looking I'm at swerves getting overcharged” he calls back to the other medic before he himself disappears.
Traxies moved swiftly making his way to the door he was looking for, he knocked his servo against it waiting for Sunstreaker, hoping he was there. Traxies looks like hell and the coolant lines are visible on his faceplate and it nearly makes Sunstreaker drop his data pad as he opens the door. "Traxies..." He reached out gently, cradling the smaller mech's face between his palms. Optics raked over him for a moment. "Frag, I thought the doc had you locked up. C'mere."
He tugged Traxies into his studio, kicking the panel closed before enveloping his trembling frame in a protective hug. Stroking soothingly down quivering plating, as the sit of Sunstreaker's Berth. "I.. I fragged up bad Sunny" he says while clinging to the larger mech. " frag, I've messed up" the blue speedsters vocalizer glitches slightly as he just clings to the Gold battle charger.
Sunstreaker tightened his grip as Traxies broke, venting raggedly against his plating. He cycled a vent, resting his chevron against his helm softly. “Ah can't be that Bad, you're in one piece, don't have the ship changing you down now” Sunstreaker hums. Traxies hiccupped a brittle laugh, tears leaking faster. Sunstreaker's engines purred deeper as he rocked them slowly.
"We all frag up sometimes, Trax. Primus knows I'm the last mech to judge." He tilted Traxies' tear-stained face up and wiped the moisture away. "But it doesn't matter what stupid slag you pulled. Hatchet Ain't gonna do slag, plus your Bossbots little bitty?" The words are almost sarcastic, teasing the blue mech. "Whatever mess you're in, we'll fix it. That or i'll join ya in the brig"
"Can't fix it Sunny, can't do slag without making it worse" he says while curling more against the Gold mech. "It's a mess, I hate it, I hate being an Outlier, I hate Optimus right now, I don't wanna be around Ratchet. Wish I wasn't an Outlier than this never would have happened" he sobs. Sunstreaker vented softly, optics dimming.
"Shh, it's okay. Let it out." His hands stroked soothing patterns.
Optics gentled, Sunstreaker tipped Traxies' chin up. "Tell me. Who I gotta be the slag out of?." It makes a sad laugh leave Traxies before he finally starts explaining. "So... turns out Optimus isn't my real Sire, My carrier was a human, a Human which I accidentally left in the past. And my Sire is Shockwave" Sunstreaker's optics nearly blew their fuses at the revelation. A human... Shockwave... it reminds him of the photos from Commlink. A sudden realisation hits him. The Sparkling in the photos.
He cycled a ventilation. His field tries to touch Traxies to try and settle him. "Just wanted to get away from everyone else, is Bob here?" The blue speedster inquires. "Course the little glitch is here. Always where he's not meant to be."
He snapped his digits, and moments later a small insecticon skittered out from under the berth, chirping excitedly. Bob paused upon spotting Traxies, antennae drooping. Gently Sunstreaker lifted Bob onto the berth. The 'con crept forward slowly, nuzzling against Traxies with a few clicks.
Traxies pulls Bob into a cuddle as he just sits leaning up against Sunstreaker's side. His servo slowly scratched Bob's helm. "Primus I hate this, hate being an Outlier and all the Slag Boss bot spewed for so long about me needing to be a leader" He grumbles while pulling Bob closer. " I miss Sideswipe and Bumblebee" he finally states softly.
Sunstreaker draped an arm over Traxies. He growled low in his intake. "Primus knows I'd have strangled old Boss-botorns ago if you hadn't thought the world of him." Optics dimmed remembering their lost brothers. "I miss them too. Wish Sideswipe would have come with us, and Bumblebee is to busy trying to crawl up Prowls exhaust, when hes not on earth"
It makes Traxies choke back a laugh as he wipes his optics. The quarters fell to a solemn quiet, only the whirring of vents and rhythmic pets disturbing the stillness. Traxies relaxed.
Eventually the golden mech cracked a lazy smile. "So... buff and wax? I'm thinking crystal polish to really make the plating pop." His field nudged him. Traxies huffed but one corner of his mouth twitched upward. "Yea, yea I'd like that alot Sunny." It was one of the reasons Traxies and Sunstreaker got along so well both of them enjoyed pampering each other with wax, buffing and paint jobs, neither Bumblebee or Sideswipe were ever that interested in it.
A ghost of Sunstreaker's roguish smirk returned seeing Traxies laugh again, however faintly. "Pfft, you hang out with that grumpy medic too long, you're starting to complain like one!" He dabbed extra polish on Traxies' chevron, snickering as the youngling sputtered.
Traxies punches Sunstreaker and gives him a glare when he talks about Ratchet. "Ain't funny Sunny, don't talk about Ratchet like that!" He huffs but settles back to let the Battle Charger work. "Maybe smaller than you but I'm still older and will beat you to scrap" he threatens, he knows full well he wouldn't and that Sunstreaker was more a fighter than him because he had Prowl, Ironhide and Jazz training him when he was younger.
Sunstreaker raised his hands in surrender, though optics still sparked with mirth. "Alright, alright! No slanging the Hatchet. Got it” He chuckled, resuming his buff of Traxies' plating. "Never said you weren't fierce when riled."
"Ooh, you're gonna fraggin' love this." Sunstreaker snickered as Traxies glared, scrubbing a protruding strut with exaggerated care. "So, we got a new flyer on the ship with us. Seeker named Luna Whistler - and get this." He leered impishly. "Heard through the engine room he thinks you're rather fetching."
Traxies flushed, shoving at the Gold bot. "Wh-what? I don't even know him!" Sunstreaker guffawed. "Quit squirming, you'll scratch the finish! Frag, can you blame him though? With plating like this?" He buffed a lingering circle just to watch Traxies steam.

Ok, there is zero reason for this story to be 34,000 words. I need a beta! And to outline my fics so I don't wander around for three chapters trying to decide what to do. I actually wrote the ending first, and then had to throw it away because it didn't fit. Probably it would also help to write the whole thing first and then post it.
But will I do any of those sensible things? Odds are low.
Unlike last time, this fic suffers from too much plot. John and Aeryn wrangling over attraction and loneliness mostly gets overridden by asteroids strikes and commerce stations. I wrote action! And lots of unnecessary slice-of-life space stuff. I was trying to explore Aeryn feeling more able to invest in John because she starts to believe he isn't about to leave at any moment. Then half way through she decides to leave instead. I cannot control these people. Lucky Pilot and guilt get me back in the direction of canon.
I don't know, I actually like some of this. So read it if you want. It's ok.

“It was hard, Livy, seeing her like that.”
Aeryn heard John's voice in enough time to stop before the sound of her footsteps could carry to him. The name meant he was talking to his magnetic recorder again, not any of the Moyans. O’livy’a was the name of his younger female sibling—sister— Aeryn made herself think the colonial word. There was always a warmth in how John talked about his family that felt incompatible with the precise terms of galactic Sebacean. In English, it sounded inappropriately like a hiss, sisistr. She wondered whether the word for brother was similarly sibilant. The only time they’d talked of brothers, she had been too distracted to pay attention.
”I mean, what a mind frell—” Crichton stopped himself with a bitter laugh, “They’re getting to me. A mind frell,” he emphasized the word, one of the few profanities that had a perfect translation, though his English version was harsher to her ear, more violent.
“I thought I was going crazy, I mean, of course I did! But the worst part— is that it felt so right. So good. The idea of having someone else with me, dealing with this crazed frelled-up situation together— of just… not being alone…” John’s voice dipped and fractured, and he lapsed into silence.
Aeryn heard the click of the recorder being stopped. Was he talking about her? She hadn't thought he was there for any part of her humiliating collapse. To be rendered completely ineffective by mere hallucinations was bad enough when witnessed by Pilot and D'Argo. It was somehow worse to have the habitually incompetent human see it too.
But no, his words didn't seem to match that. They had not been together facing the rogue Delvians; that had been the problem. He'd been on his own.
The button clicked again. “It took me arns to figure out that Alex wasn’t real. Actually, I never figured it out. The priestess just let me go. Until then, I believed it all. That Alex joined Ayahsa with me instead of going to stanferd. That she was on the Farscayp project with me. That she had been my copilot when I got sucked down the wormhole….”
Alex. That wasn't a name she remembered from John’s many many stories. Someone he knew from his past, but didn't talk about. Until now, when he was clearly upset. That made her eavesdropping seem uncomfortably invasive.
Crichton was probably tucked into a niche just around the bend of the corridor. This hall, like many others, had begun to narrow and curve more dramatically in the last few weekens. But it still gave access to a window sheltered by an arching column where John liked to sit and watch space. Aeryn could continue on, greet him, ask him to help with the survey she was starting again, as she’d intended when she first went looking for him. It felt as if she'd just completed a full tier review, but Moya's internal structures seemingly changed every day. The work might be a distraction for him.
Or she could go back the other way, down a tier, or up, to find a new path around the apparently growing hangar that sheltered the ship’s child. She could leave Crichton to talk to his ghosts alone....

future
Julance ‘23 week 2
“This is usually my brooding spot,” Keith says as he steps through the doorway to the observation deck and the doors slide shut behind him.
Turning to look over his shoulder, Lance huffs a little. “I don’t see your name anywhere.”
Keith clearly just woke up, hair rumpled and sweatpants hanging low on his waist. He didn’t even bother to put on a shirt though he keeps his arms crossed like he’s cold. Lance wants to call him out for his ridiculousness but finds he doesn’t have the energy to keep up much of their usual banter.
Sensing the mood, Keith’s expression softens, and his feet quickly pad across the floor to reach Lance in record time. He sits down right next to him on the small step-down; their shoulders brush together. “You could’ve woken me if you had a nightmare.”
Lance shakes his head. “It wasn’t a nightmare.”
“Then what’s on your mind?”
They have an unobstructed view of the stars before them, no planets or asteroid belts, just a nebula in the distance made of stardust pinks. And Lance, staring at the universe that he has had to call home for far too long, takes a minute to answer. Keith doesn’t prod but he doesn’t look away from Lance either. Sighing, Lance shuts his eyes for a moment.
“Do you think we’ll have a future?” he asks at last.
With each passing year still stuck in space, with the memories of home losing their focus, doubt constantly creeps into Lance’s mind. If they can win this war; if they’ll have to sacrifice something too great to do so. The battles have intensified and all of them come away with more scrapes and bruises than they used to. More time is spent in the healing pods. More time is spent watching the love of his life in that suspended animation, wondering if there’ll be a day when he never wakes up from that sleep.
But Lance isn’t any better at keeping himself safe so he’ll never blame Keith for his recklessness.
He senses Keith’s gaze pinned on him. It raises the hair on the back of his neck. He knows Keith studies him, those violet eyes flicking up and down his face looking for something. “In general or between us?”
“Both. In general.” Lance allows his head to fall into his hands and mumbles, “I don’t know.”
Keith leans back on his hands, staring at the stars before them. He looks so soft in the subtle glow of the late night hours. Blue from the crystal sconces highlights his profile. Everyone is asleep, even the mice; it is just the two of them wide awake. They have the entire castle to themselves. “I’d like to hope we’re both happy and healthy years from now, whether we’re together or not,” Keith says, confident in a way Lance finds he is shocked by. Then the corner of Keith’s mouth quirks when he turns his attention on Lance again, and Lance can’t stop staring at the movement. “But we haven’t encountered time travel yet so I can’t say for certain.”
Lance weakly laughs at that. He reaches out his hand to find Keith’s on the floor. Their fingers interlock. “I don’t want to think about a future where I let you go.”
“Then don’t.”
“That simple?”
Keith shrugs, a bit of pink dusting his cheeks. “For me it is.”
Even after a year of dating, it often surprises Lance how at ease Keith can make him feel. That, for someone who always seemed so emotionally constipated when they were younger, can calm his racing heart with blunt honesty.
Lance leans into Keith, cupping the side of his face, and kisses him. He smiles when he pulls back. It’s a silent ‘thank you’ and Keith easily understands.
They fall asleep curled together on the observation deck, and Lance dreams of hope.

Earth may have had a ring system 466 million years ago
In a discovery that challenges our understanding of Earth's ancient history, researchers have found evidence suggesting that Earth may have had a ring system that formed around 466 million years ago, at the beginning of a period of unusually intense meteorite bombardment known as the Ordovician impact spike.
This surprising hypothesis, published in Earth and Planetary Science Letters, stems from plate tectonic reconstructions for the Ordovician period noting the positions of 21 asteroid impact craters. All these craters are located within 30 degrees of the equator, despite more than 70% of Earth's continental crust being outside this region, an anomaly that conventional theories cannot explain.
The research team believes this localized impact pattern was produced after a large asteroid had a close encounter with Earth. As the asteroid passed within Earth's Roche limit, it broke apart due to tidal forces, forming a debris ring around the planet—similar to the rings seen around Saturn and other gas giants today.
"Over millions of years, material from this ring gradually fell to Earth, creating the spike in meteorite impacts observed in the geological record," said lead study author Professor Andy Tomkins, from Monash University's School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment. "We also see that layers in sedimentary rocks from this period contain extraordinary amounts of meteorite debris."
"What makes this finding even more intriguing is the potential climate implications of such a ring system," he said.
The researchers speculate that the ring could have cast a shadow on Earth, blocking sunlight and contributing to a significant global cooling event known as the "Hirnantian Icehouse."
This period, which occurred near the end of the Ordovician, is recognized as one of the coldest in the last 500 million years of Earth's history.
"The idea that a ring system could have influenced global temperatures adds a new layer of complexity to our understanding of how extra-terrestrial events may have shaped Earth's climate," Professor Tomkins said.
Normally, asteroids impact the Earth at random locations, so we see impact craters distributed evenly over the moon and Mars, for example. To investigate whether the distribution of Ordovician impact craters is non-random and closer to the equator, the researchers calculated the continental surface area capable of preserving craters from that time.
They focused on stable, undisturbed cratons with rocks older than the mid Ordovician period, excluding areas buried under sediments or ice, eroded regions, and those affected by tectonic activity. Using a GIS approach (Geographic Information System), they identified geologically suitable regions across different continents.
Regions like Western Australia, Africa, the North American Craton, and small parts of Europe were considered well-suited for preserving such craters. Only 30% of the suitable land area was determined to have been close to the equator, yet all the impact craters from this period were found in this region.
The chances of this happening are like tossing a three-sided coin (if such a thing existed) and getting tails 21 times.
The implications of this discovery extend beyond geology, prompting scientists to reconsider the broader impact of celestial events on Earth's evolutionary history. It also raises new questions about the potential for other ancient ring systems that could have influenced the development of life on Earth.
Could similar rings have existed at other points in our planet's history, affecting everything from climate to the distribution of life? This research opens a new frontier in the study of Earth's past, providing new insights into the dynamic interactions between our planet and the wider cosmos.

New Hopes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God this took me so long to write, but I had this idea for a while and thought I'd write it out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Originally, Dust couldn’t leave the atmosphere of Remnant it's because of its properties, yet after constant experimentation from the scientists of Atlas, the humans and faunus left the planet’s surface. Thus, an urgent calling to explore the stars was born within the people of Remnant.
The first being born on Remnant that entered the void of space was an android who goes by the name P.E.N.N.Y or Penny Polendina. The reports from Penny were groundbreaking, elements that no one else thought even existed, yet there they were, just out of reach from any being. Soon, the four kingdoms of Remnant began making newer crafts, crafts with the ability to leave the surface of the planet and break free of the atmosphere.
Eventually, the space crafts made by the Remnants left the orbit of their planet allowing them to explore their solar system, finding new planets and moons and beautiful sights. On some planets, there were winds seven times faster than those reported on the very surface of Remnant itself, blue and purple gas giants with thousands of satellites.
The issues with fuel because of the Remnants relying on Dust were something many of the crew were worried about but soon the crews of Remnant’s space crafts found Dust hidden within comets, meteors, and asteroids within the solar system, giving way to evidence that there could’ve other planets with Dust or perhaps past collisions with Remnant. These questions still go unanswered, even after the beings of Remnant left their solar system.
It was then something was found hurtling through the void, amazing, too many yet terrifying to others. That object was something artificial, a strange craft that had a golden frame and white disk. It was well constructed yet seemed old compared to the technology on Remnant. The name of the craft was discovered after it was taken apart “Voyager One”. One? That number made many Remnants ask one question; “Just how many more of these exist?”.
There was something else found on the Voyager One, a disk known as the “Golden Record”. The records had many things to decode; sounds of Earth, visions of Earth, and beautiful yet alien music. There were pictures of dogs, cats, planes, bridges, cities, and other planets. All one-hundred-fifteen images on these records told stories without the use of words. The music allowed those who listened to it to imagine the impossible, and the sounds allowed others to visualize the very surface of the planet Earth. Though the most shocking thing found on the records was human biology, the idea of humanity being born outside of Remnant was thought to be impossible, yet this threw everyone’s theories about the nearest window.
It was then that scientists and engineers traced the origin of the Voyager One through its past transmissions to its home planet. Out of that discovery, a new mission was born; Find planet Earth. On their mission, the Remnants found new planets and stars, some rouge and some trapped in the almost permanent dance as they orbited around each other, or clouds of hot stardust that the crafts have to avoid.
Soon, the crafts of Remnant arrived at the solar system that hosted Earth, but instead of finding something beautiful and finding more humans with arms outstretched to welcome the Remnants they found something much more grim… The very sun that gave the planet life was consuming it, tearing the planet apart piece by piece. The realization that the Remnants had the last remaining piece of Earth in their clutches wasn’t lost to them. Instead, it gave way to a new idea, to create their craft and send out images, music, and sounds born from Remnant in the hope no one would forget about them. Within one image was the death of the Earth, as a thank you and goodbye for those who gave the Remnants new hope during space exploration.

hart spirit fun facts ! he literally just looks like some sexyman w blue skin but hes actually an alien. he comes from an entire family of cheerleaders. hes the ambassador of a "city" which is actually an entire asteroid/essentially the planet hes from. he tends to randomly burst out spelling random words using his entire body to make the shape of the letters. he has a crazy intense one-sided beef with a 14 year old bc that kid ruined his selfie. he lives in a mansion and has a dungeon. he likes auditioning for reality shows. he met a sentient fruit and flat out told it that he eats that kind of fruit every morning. he has parental issues but is close with his grandma and buys her flowers whenever he visits her. he attempted to kill the same group of kids multiple times. he is comically bad at spinning plates to a point where he tried recording himself doing that over 97 times.

Sciencce fact of the day- Neptune!
Neptune has a lot in common with Uranus. it's similar in size, mass, color, and a lotta other things too. That said, its color is a deeper blue than Uranus, and it also has significantly more visible atmospheric features. This is because Uranus's weird tilt means that it has really weird atmospheric dynamics, and thus has only a few long term cloud structures. Meanwhile, Neptune has numerous because of its more normal days and years. One of the most prominent of these are Dark Spots, which are large storms somewhat like the Great Red Spot of Jupiter, although they typically last much shorter (a few years) and also don't have many clouds. the Great Dark Spot was a specific one present during Voyager 2's flyby. It was about the size of Earth (although still only about a third of the size of the Great Red Spot), and it also featured the fastest winds ever recorded, with speeds of 2100 km/h (1300 mph, or nearly 600 m/s). which is. really fucking fast. like 100 times normal earth wind speeds, and 5 times the highest ever Earth wind speed). Neptune in general has pretty damn high wind speeds, which makes it fairly unique- I would tend to think that something recieving a small amount of heat from the sun wouldn't have strong winds, but i suppose not.
Neptune also serves an important role in the outer solar system, especially regarding Kuiper Belt Objects. The Kuiper Belt is a region beyond neptune very similar to the asteroid belt, however, its components are largely icy, rather than rocky or metallic like the asteroids. Many objects are in various resonances with Neptune. Pluto is one of them- it has a 2:3 resonance with neptune, meaning it orbits twice for every 3 of neptune. thus, even though it crosses Neptune's orbit, it's never going to collide with it. Other objects with 2:3 neptune resonances are called Plutinos, after Pluto. Other resonances with Neptune have largely shaped the modern Kuiper belt, although not entirely. teehee.

A Mountain with Hills in the Wheel
Tumblr media
here are some mountains with hills
in a wheel, and a kitten chopped in to two
halves. it is quite meaningless, maybe but it is inspired
by today's reading here of the blue cliff record, number
63 specifically. I've been consuming one with accompanying
gatha before breakfast to start the day, and then another at
night before bed. a new translation from hinton, I've read
cleary's years ago, a decade in fact but I have to say it hasn't
aged so well. this I find however enlightening. I don't get much
out of sitting meditation itself these days, lately I've found it
discouraging, but the in-betweens are
something else. not much is flawless or just so it is.
an afternoon painting using Black Ink, G'mic and Corel Painter, with a photograph of an unnamed woman layered in, a last second addition, and must say she looks quite nice. rather obscured here, but brings out some colors a tad more along with maybe some meaning. the weather in near space is asteroids today, my phone now notifies me.

MISSION_RECORD_DATE
+4174D 6H 22M 14S
TRANSCRIBED FROM THOUGHT COMPUTER
“VESSEL 4” USRC V.21.7
PROXIMITY ALERT
For the record, providing legibility. Earth date is June 8, 1825 hours local time at Kennedy Space Center, 11 years since launch. Previous proximity activated computer 27 days ago when passing a field of asteroids at a distance of 850km. Gravity density indicates nearby celestial body is larger. Current distance, approximately 450,000km, with a secondary object at 127,000km. Cameras have powered on and data tracking has begun.
. . . . .
No current matches to database entries. Most recent update to database was 6 days ago. Engaging data analysis and photos.
. . . . .
The nearer object is roughly 11,000km in diameter. It is a reddish-brown colour that could correlate to clay. There is no observable atmospheric phenomenon on the surface of the object, currently cataloged as “Moon V4-68-18” for the record. Moon V4-68-18 has several craters indicating it has been struck by large asteroids or other debris over an extended period of time.
Of much more interest is the larger body, at 384,000km away from the smaller one. At about 40,000km in circumference, the planetary body cataloged as “Planet V4-68-21” for the record, has many similarities to Earth.
I am running a diagnostic to ensure my coordinates are correct, and that I have not returned to Earth space unintentionally.
. . . . .
Confirming location as outside local solar system. Continuing report; Planet V4-68-21 has an axial tilt and rotation speed both comparable with those of the Earth. However, the direction of the rotation appears to be the opposite of Earth. Landmasses are nearly identical to those of Earth in terms of shape and size. I am unable to determine the likelihood of this scenario, but the odds do not seem to be in favour of this occurring. Despite this, diagnostic tools have already confirmed that camera and database files are both free of error. The only possibility besides the observable truth, then, is that my processors have become damaged beyond reliability. I am unable to determine if this is true, therefore, I will proceed under the assumption that it is not.
The ocean visible on the west side of the continents currently viewable, which are shaped remarkably like North and South America, is a green-ish blue, more commonly seen on the east side of the Americas on Earth. The east side of the continents, understandably, is more of a deep blue which often correlates to the oceans on the west coast at home.
Planet V4-68-21 appears to have a rotation speed that is 5km faster than that of Earth. This, combined with the reversed rotation seen in the local solar system has effectively swapped the climates seen on Earth. Where desert is normally located, there is verdant greenery, and where forests and jungles are observed, there are deserts ranging from yellow to gray.
SIGNAL DETECTED // DATA UNREADABLE
There appears to be a signal beamed from the surface into nearby space, however, it is not in a format I am capable of collecting.
I have passed closer to the moon and am now able to collect readings of the surface.
. . . . .
In a similar fashion to Luna, the red moon has little atmosphere at all, with almost no signs of gases necessary for the propagation of life. The planet, however, does not share this fate. Current estimates put the gases in line with that of Earth, as well, with roughly 21% oxygen, and just below 78% nitrogen readings. The conditions of the planet are remarkable, but hard to fathom. There appears to be satellites or craft orbiting the surface as well, however, my cameras are currently unable to make out details at this distance.
I must note that the processes intended for observation and transcribing have increased by 14% in the past hour, despite no download package being detected that would cause this. As such, my ability to “think” has improved. Attached in this report is a [THANK YOU] for the engineers who continue to streamline my capabilities. I am unsure how this happened.
At maximum zoom levels on my cameras, I have noticed structures that do not appear to be naturally occurring. These are nearly identical to those designed on Earth, but with a few exceptions noticed on the taller, or larger, ones. There appear to be fewer sharp angles on these buildings, but instead, they are more beveled. This could possibly be attributed to the increased rotation speed of the planet, which would have a mild gravitation decrease on a planet of this size. There also appear to be more trails, possibly analogous to Earth's railroads, though they are harder to discern at this distance.
With all of this, I find it hard not to question what life on this planet is like. Are the changes in gravity and climate so different from the distant twin of Earth that the inhabitants live opposite of what we///I///you are accustomed to? Are efforts to explore space underway in the same way that it has been for humans, with the launch of my own mission? Perhaps I simply passed an observation device on my journey here, separated by millions of miles and never noticing each other. Is that other device reporting back the same as I am now, and pondering the same questions?
There are still 12 hours before this message can be broadcast back towards the Earth. Below, there are clear images of vehicles traveling on pathways, things that can only be described as planes with backwards wings, crisscrossing the skies above them. I cannot see their faces. I wonder, do they see me as I pass by? Would they think of me as one of their own satellites that I have passed, orbiting the planet, sending and receiving signals that I could never dream of reading.
Moon V4-68-18 has an observable gravitational effect on the tides, much as Luna does. Whitecaps are visible here, now. As are the snow capped mountain ranges. Were it not so obvious that this was not Earth, I might have run a second diagnostic to confirm. These photos will have to do for now, but I cannot understate the beauty. I am indexing these photos with the word “beauty” in my databanks to refer to from this point forward. I hope you can do the same.
I have used up the majority of my solar cells, and will need to recharge. Cameras shutting down. I hope the people below can know that they are so very lucky to live on a planet such as this. I hope you back home can know that you, too, are so very lucky, to live on a planet like Earth. Indexing complete, backups created.
I am compressing these files to return back to Earth. Beginning rest sequence. I am falling asleep. I hope you like my lullaby. Good night.
somewhere over the rainbow//way up high//there's a land that i heard of//once in a lullaby. . . . .
