Selina wasn't expecting this when she decided to have some fun and do what she does best.

She just meant to sweet talk her way into Master's gala/party. Flirt and get info, maybe some blackmail. Steal away the rare cat themed artifact he had recently gotten (and also steal away his actual cat, such a lovely little diva it is too). then she was going to disappear into the night like always.

So...

Selina casted her eyes into the mirror of her car and could see the tiny children she had rescued from Master's hidden basement lab. All but one was asleep, the oldest out of them, although she seemed to be losing that fight from the way her head was falling forward, eyes closing but would jerk herself back awake when she realized she was falling asleep.

Curled up as hard and as much as they could towards the little redhead was three dark haired children, Selina mused that they'd fit right in with Bruce and his little bats/birds.

Two were near identical boys, though one seemed to be much paler than the other and if she remembered right one had red eyes and the other had blue, and the last one of the sleeping kids was a tiny toddler, a girl she heard was named 'Ellie' from the others.

Selina took note that the red head, Jazz, had finally fallen asleep a few minutes later. With a deep breath as she drove further and further away from that... that insane Fruitloop (she overheard the two boys call him that as they ran to her car) Master's place, she blindly reached for her phone and pressed a single digit on the screen, knowing it will connect to her car and call up the only person she can trust to help her with this.

"Selina." came the gravely voice after a single ring, sounds like she caught him on patrol but he seemed to be in a spot where he was okay to say her actual name over coms or she caught him before his night shift started.

"Hello Darling, I need your help with some kittens I found and to help me... Put away their terrible old owner."

There’s something I’ve been wondering since there movie came out and I’d like to know your thoughts..

Mario and Luigi’s grandfather looks a lot like their father, so you’d think he’s papa Mario’s father, but the mother seems more close? I don’t know, feeding your father-in-law is an uncommon interaction (at least for me) and that made me think he was their mother’s father the first time I saw the movie.

Doesn't seem like an all that uncommon interaction to me. Mama Mia looks to be the primary household caretaker with a lot of focus on making sure everyone eats, so it seems perfectly in character for her to prioritize ensuring her father in law gets fed. Plus they all live under the same roof, so they're probably pretty close.

Anthony “worked for a literal gravedigger” Lockwood, Lucy “grew up in a working class northern family” Carlyle and George “all his siblings are engineers” Karim have a respect for doing blue collar work. When things get broke round Portland Row, they can and will fix it themselves.

Quill Kipps on the other hand has never even changed a lightbulb on his own in his life, and it really shows in the everything about him.

neither of them really have a color that i stick with 100% of the time but i usually associate nettle with purple and finch with green! i do try and keep the same color theme though even if i change colors every time :,)

Willow! I really, really, love step-dad touya, but I must admit I am especially fond of single dad touya x teacher reader. it’s probably my favorite scenario ever, so soft and sweet— I think about it so much haha. I guess this question might apply to both scenarios though, and maybe you’ve spoken on it before and I’ve missed it! but I was wondering what you picture touya doing for a living in each of these au’s. i remember one about him being a tattoo artist in a divorce au, would you see him doing the same as a single dad? or maybe something else? I’m not really sure where I’d place him, I think the tattoo/piercer still fits, but I could also maybe see something blue collar? an auto mechanic or something of the sort perhaps.

i definitely see him doing those things as a single dad ! i like to think that, whatever he does, he makes decent money !! majority of it goes to his kid(s) !! bc it's just him in a two-bedroom apartment, so he doesn't want for much, and if his baby wants to be in gymnastics or ballet or baseball — HE'S GONNA FIGURE IT OUT !!! 😤 gonna give them the childhood he didn't have !! 😤

principal difference between hellblazer/nbc constantine and 2005 keanu constantine imo, besides keanu constantine being american, is their attitudes toward food.

hellblazer/nbc constantine: pub food and hearty shit, meat and potatoes and stews and fish. appreciates a good meal, the effort/time it takes to cook it, and the social rituals that revolve around it. also has a taste for the finer things in life and will scam his way into high-end restaurants to fuck around and embarrass everyone there while eating goooood keanu constantine: runs on dunkin, lox bagels, and not much else. cannot keep things in his fridge or they will rot before he remembers to eat them. obliterates a mcdonalds hash brown in a single bite
