1326.1 - Turning the Charm up to Eleven

With his step-son Auguste soon to turn sixteen, Sir Lucan begins to look for an eligible young lady who might catch his eye and improve the family's social standing. He introduces him to three candidates, and Auguste soon finds himself enamored with Rosa de Lacy, the sister of Quintin de Lacy and half-sister of Fatima Barrow.

Though Auguste is quick to begin speaking of marriage with her, she is initially reluctant and blames their young age. Unbeknownst to Auguste, of course, is that she has secretly begun seeing Cailan Barrow, and she doesn't know if she might already be pregnant with his child. Since her half-sister Fatima married a farmer, she hasn't given up hope that her brother might yet consider letting her marry Cailan despite his lower financial situation.

Despite her feelings for Cailan, she finds herself also charmed by the spirited Auguste and, worrying that a pregnancy may come in the way of her prospects if Quintin refuses Cailan as a suitor, she seduces Auguste in hopes that he will marry her if she is revealed to be pregnant.

As she expected, Quintin categorically refuses to consider Cailan as a suitor and favours Auguste Verviers due to his status. Sir Lucan and Auguste visit them a short time later, and it is agreed that Rosa and Auguste would be married within the season.

Back at the Barrow farm, Cailan reflects on the women in his life and sets his sights on a seamstress from Henford: Becca Burton. Though his thoughts constantly make their way to Morgan Hale, he is determined to marry a woman who will have a respectable dowry and skills that will give their future children better prospects than living on a farm. Becca is receptive to his advances as he acts as a perfect gentleman, and he makes up his mind to ask for her hand as soon as he's had a chance to talk it over with his brother Brayden and their mother Rosemary.

Disney Branded Television Showcases New Logo and Cast Members for Disney Television Animation's "RoboGobo" Slated for 2024

As part of Disney Junior & Friends Playdate, Disney Branded Television unveiled a new logo, the key cast members and guest cast members of Disney Television Animation's upcoming preschool series RoboGobo slated to debut 2024 only on Disney Junior and Disney+.

RoboGobo follows Dax and his five adorable adopted pets, Booster, Allie, Hopper, Shelly and Wingo. After being given super-powered Robo-Suits by kid inventor Dax, the pets are on a mission to save other pets in trouble and learn how to become a family in the process.

The show includes the key cast members like Ja’Siah Young  (“Raising Dion”) as young Dax, Brayden Morgan (“Slumberkins”) as Booster, Azuri Hardy Jones (“My Adventures with Superman”) as Allie, Gracen Newton (“Puppy Dog Pals”) as Hopper and Wingo, newcomer Leili Ahmadyar as Shelly and veteran voice actor Dee Bradley Baker (“Phineas and Ferb”) as owner Dax. I disagree with anon. Blake did bring his strongest team. He picked Bodie over Kevin and The Dryes ( they were good but didn’t connect). Jay just screwed up. Bryce appeals to the strong country base and has a traditional country voice. Brayden has shown growth and has connected to the audience. He did a live last week and spoke about how they were told it’s not just about a great voice but audience connection. It is every year. Rowan just picked wrong songs. Kique is unique but his last performances were off. And for some reason it doesn’t feel like the audience is connecting to Kim or Parijita. This happens every season. And people would have voted for Wendy if she wasn’t on Blake’s team last year. She was one in a million. We’ve seen weaker artists on all the coaches team go through. Uh. Ari’s father and son duo. Cheval Shepherd on Kelly’s team. Deer in the headlights every time she sang. She won over Kennedy! Camila could have had Kate but she chose Eric who had been montages in blinds and battles. Blake’s job is to try and help these artists get as far as they can. The audience votes so if good people go home that’s on us ffs. And screw Idol Forum. God help them if Carrie replaces Blake. They think the fan base votes? They ain’t seen nothing like that. And remember the majority -good or meh-go home next week. So all this is a moot point. It will be Bodie. Morgan (and they have shoved her down our throats but no one mentions that). Justin. Omar.
