Art Fight 🔁REVENGE on @computerized!

Watercolor on A6 paper! Was practicing for LIVE/On-The-Spot Commissions and realized this was a good excuse to do more Art Fight :-)

"It's loss that brought me to Rapture. The loss of my wife, Pearl... The Thinker is all I've got, now..."

With an advance degree in Mathematics from one of the first U.S. universities to grant degrees to black students, Porter was chosen by Alan Turing for his WWII codebreaking team at Bletchley Park. During his time there, however, he suffered a terrible loss, and when the war ended he allowed himself to be recruited by Andrew Ryan. Porter came to Rapture to build and operate the most advanced mainframe computer the world had ever seen, used to run all the computerized and automated technology in the city.

Porter had been absent from his former post for some time, but now he has decided to flee Rapture with a copy of the The Thinker, his masterpiece.

Those were our definite contemplations when we heard the term. We had to research and find out everything there was to know—yes, we are nerds or at least want to learn new things. Let us briefly discuss what we discovered .In the science fiction novel Snow Crash, published in 1992, the term “metaverse” was coined. It is the intersection of the digital and physical worlds. Envision joining the world we live in with the computerized world we access through the web.

hey im really confused about the whole celia teleporting thing. can i have some explaination?

We don't really have any answers, just speculation!

(spoilers if you're not up to date with TMAGP)

From the transcripts we can see Celia randomly appearing always near Oxford, where Hill Top Road is. She usually wakes up in the middle of nowhere, disoriented, sometimes in her pajamas. I wasn't sure if she was teleporting there or just sleepwalking, but given she's researching "time travel, other dimensions, teleportation", I'm thinking it's probably teleportation.

The reason this happens, again, is just speculation. IMO it's pretty much confirmed Celia belongs to TMA's original universe, and has somehow ended in this TMAGP universe. I assume she came through the "Rift in Reality" sitting in Hill Top Road. Why? I don't know. In TMA's finale, all the Fears are removed from TMA's universe and sucked into the Rift, spreading them through the rest of the universes. For some reason, Celia also went through the Rift.

IMO the teleportation is pulling her towards Hill Top Road because that's where she came from. Something might be "pulling" her to where she really belongs.

Celia definitely knows she's not from this universe. But I'm not sure if she knows she came through Hill Top Road. They're def going to visit Hill Top in this season's finale, so I'm really excited to see what happens!
