Tarot Spells

Let’s talk about Tarot cards in spell work. We all know that the tarot is used for divination & predicting the future but it can also be used in spell work. Each card has a special meaning that can easily be used as a spell. For example the tower card is about destruction & can be used in curse work. The 10 of cups is about emotional fulfilment & long term happiness therefore it can be used to manifest a life long partner & to work towards building a happy future by having a family. The Empress card is about fertility & can be used in spell work for fertility to grow your family or for creativity.

How you use your cards for spells is up to you but here are a few ideas. You can place the card on the Alter next to your working to influence the spell & use it as a correspondence for magical support in your casting. You can use the card as the actual spell by writing your petition/request on it & burning it. You can add the tarot card into spell jars or place candles on top of them. You can meditate with them & use them visually. And you can draw Sigils on them. And don’t forget you can also use oracle & lenormande decks in the same way.

For many this thought would be disturbing, how can anyone damage their tarot decks like this. Well there are ways around that. You do not have to use cards from your beautiful decks to include them in spell work. You can print off the card design you want to use from online. You can buy old used tarot decks cheap & you can find basic beginner decks in books store that are about £5/$5. I am not a fan of fake decks & I much prefer to buy the real deck in support of the creator who made it, however you could buy a fake copy of the deck from SHEIN & use it specially for spell work. That way your more expensive decks won’t get damaged. Happy casting, blessing

It is not that you are luckier than others but you can’t deny the smile of good fortune beaming on you as you begin the task of working on a difficult situation. You ever get really excited to work on a drawing, get the sketch done really fast, and then your brain just decides to go "you know what? nah."? 'Cause that's what happened with this one. 😑 Just to be clear, I really love how this one turned out! I'm just frustrated with how long it took me to do it. In other news, I will be taking a bit of a break from this commission series (and perhaps joining a certain secret satan event... 😉) so hopefully that'll help my brain recover.
