ULTIMATE DIGIVOLVE!

I recently did my rwbymon series and got a couple suggestions that Weiss’ ultimate form would have to be a version of Angewomon. This inspired me to create...an ultimate Schnee.

Alyx's wish

So Alyx's wish was for him to gain what was lost from him right? We see it as his youth. But what if its more than that? What is something that Jaune has that represents his broken spirit? What ancestral blade that represents everything he ever wanted to do and be lays shattered with pieces of it missing in the void? What if, the next time Jaune draws Crocea Mors's broken form, it is made whole. What if next time when he is forced once again in a position to save someone he loves, his sword is whole and he finally is able to move past the eleventh hour? That all his doubt and anger and self hatred is washed away like rust on armor and his blade and shield become one once more?

Ancestral Crocea mors

so recently i got the ancestral weapons book for 5e d&d and decided I was gonna try making crocea mors with it. i personally like this book as it really helps the martial classes have more flavor to them and lets them have a bloodline like sorcerers or magical backing like paladins and clerics.

an ancestral weapon is a weapon that has been wielded for generations and has preformed enough legendary feats that magic (or in this case the souls of remnant) imbue it with powers based off the legends told about it. basically since everyone in the world believes the sword has powers they end up giving it powers

for the record i rolled for everything here so it's up to the dice gods as to what it's features are

that said

Crocea mors

Ancestral trait: Honorable, this weapon will only do nonlethal damage to unarmed humanoids

Personality: Violent, when presented with options the sword wants to see the more violent ones come to pass (it’s a sword what do you want from it?)

Generations: 5, this sword was made five generations ago

Feats of legend: 4 (papa arc was slacking)

Feat 1: Roland Arc wielded this sword in far distant lands it is well known just about everywhere because of this.

Feat 2: Astolfo Arc broke this sword and then reforged it, imbuing more power into it’s recreation

Feat 3: Artoria Arc wielded this sword in battle against a demi-god

Feat 4: grandpa Arc used this sword to bring ruin to the capital city of mantal during the great war. It is feared throughout the entire kingdom for this feat and part of the city are still in disrepair to this day.

Craftsmanship: unknown, it’s not human (from any of the 4 kingdoms or their predecessors), godly ,elimental, faunas or fae. No one knows who made it or later remade it but it’s nothing from the world of remnant or even the outer plains.

Handle: oak with leather wrappings that still hold up to this day (so not normal)

Metal used: Electrum 

Identifying feature: the weapon appears to leave a small trail behind it as it moves

Crocea mors will give powers based on how pleased it is with it’s partner, thse powers come in 4 tiers (though more can be gained if a wielder does great things and imbues the weapon with more power)

Tier 1 powers (levels 1 and up): 

Slayer, does extra 2d6 damage to grimm

Enhanced weapon: counts as a +1 sword 

Giant bane: dels an extra d6 damage to targets size large or larger.

Tier 2 new powers (level’s 5 and up):  (you still have previous powers unless stated otherwise but i’ll only mention them when they get an upgrade or get swapped out for something else)

Enhanced weapon 2, counts as a plus 2 weapon

Enguard (fighters only), when attacked use your reaction to either 

Attack the creature that just attacked you regardless of turn

Add +5 ac to self before damage is rolled

Gain advantage against attacking creature until the end of next turn

Replaces giant’s bane

Tier 3 (level ten and up): 

same as the last tier but now your weapon is a +3 and you no longer need to eat drink or sleep while wielding it. 

(the sword wants glory human needs are secondary but it will do it’s best to cover for it’s fleshy partner)

Tier 4 (level 15 +)  

Slayer now does 4d6 instead of 2d6

Have true sight when wielding this weapon

So in the Pyrrha lives Jaune dies AUs, what do Pyrrha’s Volume 4 then Volume 7 upgrades look like? Lets be honest, Volune 3 Jaune isn’t good enough a combatant to get Cinder in the same place that prompted her to break Miló, so Crocea Mors makes it out unscathed (maybe Cinder takes it as a prize or something) and I don’t see Pyrrha melting down the intact sword and shield/sheath (although I might be just biased).

No Zweihander mode for Miló obviously, but do we have the Arc symbol on her armour or on Akoúo̱. Do we have some white along the shield, which later becomes a Dust focus like the Arc symbol does on Crocea Mors? Does she install the same hardlight shield extensions/gilder options? What’s her Tragic Keepsake equivalent to the red sash? Does she forever wear the Pumpkin Pete hoodie? I can’t help but be curious!

Crocea Mors slept soundly on Jaune's bed. After everything that has happened in the last few days, they all deserved it. It was a hard fought battle, after all.

A battle that they lost. In all his years of service, his century's worth of combat experience against Grimm, Pokémon, and people alike, he still failed in his duty to protect his trainer. And to a Poison-Type, no less. Once the corroded wounds had healed, the sting to his pride was all that remained.

'What troubles you, child?' Crocea Mors rumbled as the intruder drew closer. The Vulpix was but a pup, and hardly a threat at all.

'Can I ask you a question?' The pup asked.

'You just did.'

'Oh.' Their head down in thought. 'Can I ask another one?'

'Just... Ask your question.'

'When will you and Myrta- Myrdi- Murduh-'

'Myrtenaster?'

'Yeah!' Crocea Mors watched them bounce with excitement. 'When will you have an egg with her?'

'That is not my decision.'

'But what if she wanted to?'

'Does she want to?'

'W-Well, no-'

'Then this topic is useless.'

'W-Well, what about Mama and Papa?!'

'...Who?'

'Mama Weiss and Papa Jaune!'

Crocea Mors rumbled. Then rumbled again. Suddenly, his rumbling erupted into a screech as tears flowed from his eye! Jaune! Making an egg! The thought left him messily hysterical on the bed.

"What is going on in here?!" Weiss shrieked. "What is that awful sound?!"

'Mama!' Arc yelped happily.

"What's going on?" Jaune asked as he exited the bathroom. "Since when Crocea Mors can laugh?"

Knightshade Family Crest

Heh... well this was actually something I made in Asperite, and I wanted to give family crests a try. So I made one of my personal favorite couplings, Knightshade! With Crocea Mors and Gambol Shroud crossing each other.
