Shinobu, Douma, and Kotoha: A dumb rant by yours truly.

This is a bit out of no where but I’m just going to dump my thoughts here: I really hate Douma and Shinobu’s last scene. It feels so random that Douma would fall in love with Shinobu after he killed and ate her, nonetheless also killing her sister previously. And the fact people actually ship them kinda weirds me out. It’s just that after all the trauma Douma put onto Shinobu makes me shocked people think that they’re a cute couple. Don’t even get me started on Douma x Kanao or Douma x Kanae.

I get it that Shinobu needed to have her “rot in hell shithead” moment and get her revenge, but did Douma really need to fall in love with her for that to happen? Instead of that here is an idea I wish we could’ve seen instead:

Personally I would’ve liked to see more of Douma and Kotoha’s dynamic. It’s not everyday you see a serial killer man eating demon get attached to a human. Perhaps he could’ve seen Kotoha instead? I wonder what would happen. Considering Kotoha seems like a very kind and merciful person maybe she would even forgive him. Though at the same time we saw Kotoha’s outburst where she yelled at Douma for eating his followers. Who knows what sort of things Kotoha could’ve said?

Now if we look deeper into this Douma recalls that he believes he met Shinobu before, and then realizes it’s because Kotoha and Shinobu look similar. Douma later goes on to call Shinobu “cute” and “beautiful.” Now he also called Kotoha “beautiful” but it really gets me wondering if Douma cared more about Kotoha than we’re led on to believe. 

I know it’s strange but deep down Douma maybe regretted killing Kotoha as in chapter 160 Douma states “Having someone beautiful next to you feels pretty good, you know?” And even then he had no original intention of eating her. This makes me think Douma might’ve regretted killing her.

Though we won’t ever find out because Douma is seen as emotionless and who knows if he felt something for her or not. Though I like to think he did. Anyways thank you for coming to my ted talk seeya later sunshines!

Holding his slutty waist in your hands, squeezing his sensitive hips, watching him squirm in response. His pretty body on top of you, sitting comfortably in your lap while your length is buried deep inside him. Watching his every move with focused eyes as he tries to ride you, tries to pleasure himself. Though in the end, he’s just embarrassing himself for you to enjoy.

Then burying your face against his skin, whether it’s his chest or back, both is fine. Holding him so close to you, that you can hear his heartbeat. Rubbing your cheeks against his soft skin while he’s humping you. Moaning, making a mess. You get to see every part of him, touch everything and anything you want. You could caress his face and tell him how much you love him, or grab his ass and force him to go at a rougher pace. There so many possibilities, and so, so much time.

My Theory of Muzan's Illness

CONTAINS MANGA SPOILERS!

Muzan's illness is a crucial part of his character and is ultimately the reason why all the events in "Demon Slayer" take place. Although we are given some information about his symptoms, we are never told exactly what illness he suffered from.

The most we know comes from one of the later chapters of the manga.

Before he was born, Muzan's heart stopped multiple times. When he was born, he had no pulse and was not breathing. We also know that according to his doctor(s), his life expectancy was around 20 years of age.

Some other key factors about Muzan are that he is very pale and was physically weak. In the manga, his human self is only shown being bed-ridden. In the anime, he is shown being able to walk on his grounds, but displayed difficulty walking when going to get the knife to kill the doctor. It is unknown how much his movement difficulty had to do with his illness and how much of it was an effect from the Blue Spider Lily medication that was making him a demon. However, he does say in the anime something like "It doesn't matter how many times they examine me or give me medicine, they can't stop my degenerating state of health". This could hint that the condition he was in when he decided to kill the doctor was nothing unusual. Muzan felt that the medicine the doctor gave him and was preparing for him was useless and not providing any effects, so out of spite and anger, he decided to kill him.

There are other physical features about Muzan to note. In his anime backstory, he is shaded to have greying under his eyes, that sort of resembles swelling.

In the manga, his human form appears to have some kind of puffiness under his eyes.

Another thing to note is that as a demon, Muzan also sports blue fingernails at times when accessing his power. Many times, a demon's powers hold some connection to their human lives.

These traits of his could be connected to the symptoms of Congenital Heart Defects. Some symptoms of congenital heart defects (from infancy or childhood) include:

+ pale grey or blue tongue or fingernails + rapid breathing + swelling in the legs, belly, or areas around the eyes + shortness of breath + easy tiring during exercise or activity As well, a Google search of "how long do babies with congenital heart disease live" gives me the result that about 75% of babies born with a critical CHD survive one year of age and from then about 69% are expected to live until adulthood. This is taking into account modern medical advances and diagnoses. Muzan, being born around the year 900, is very lucky to have survived infancy, and would have most likely not have been able to live into adulthood (hence the 20-year lifespan he was given). From all of this, I would diagnose Muzan with congenital heart disease, but as I'm not a doctor and didn't study medicine, I'd be curious if anyone with a medical background has more information to add!

There’s an element to the demon designs in KNY that I am like not getting over. The extent to which their physical forms change can be connected to extent their personality changes idk if I’m being clever w this and it’s most notably the kizuki. And I think this also links to what they can remember.

E.g Gyutaro as a human, although he very much was a product of his environment, still revelled in the cruelty he inflicted. As a demon he’s just taller w different clothes, his insecurities that he still keeps far more visible. He remembered his life in extreme poverty because it shaped his personality

Rui on the other hand completely changes: his hair, eyes, clothes and even skin. Nothing stays the same because Rui was a sweet boy who just wanted to go play in the snow and that was taken advantage of. And as a demon he’s cruel, manipulative and abusive. (My poor boy TT) Rui forgot about his parents and goals because he couldn’t have them anymore. He wants family but it’s sure why entirely

The same for Akaza, Hakuji was of course capable of violence but he didn’t want to act upon it. He wanted to live happily with his wife and was of course forcibly turned after murdering a lot of people in revenge. Akaza is playful and mocking with humans and loyal to an employer he doesn’t care for. And so his hair, eyes, skin clothes etc are completely different. Akaza almost entirely forgot about his wife, but I love that she was still very present in everything he did <3 Like Rui w family, she’s still significant but he can’t remember why

And of course, Nezuko. After being turned, her personality and values dominated her desire to eat. Her clothes, the checkered pattern her family wears, doesn’t change at all. Her hair does and of course that’s symbolic but she still keeps her little bow. Nezuko, of course, gradually remembered what happened to her mother and siblings and she doesn’t get much of a chance to really process it but family and protection is the entire reason her and her brother’s journey even began.

She chooses to make a choice in who she wants to perceive as family, even if they’re demons (Yushiro and Tamayo) and lets herself burn in the sunlight to save her brother.

Anyways Nezuko is underrated and I love her very very much and I keep this design philosophy in mind when designing demons.

E.g. Yuzuka’s personality didn’t change too much, she already was cruel to an extent, apathetic and selfish. And so she doesn’t change too notibly, even in her colour palette. Aside from the addition of the purple belladonna pattern and her lack of eyes.

One Piece spoiler alert!!

I saw Rengoku's character and I was like aye. This guy. He's my favourite. And what did they do? They killed him.

I saw Ace's Character and I was like aye. This guy. I ADORE HIM. And what did they do? They killed him.

And they killed him when I clearly DID NOT EXPECT HIM TO BE KILLED.

I didn't expect Rengoku to die as well 🥹😭

But back to Ace.

I genuinely genuinely like Ace so much. He is such a beautiful character and the bond he and Luffy share.

When he was at Impel down and Luffy went to save him. And when luffy almost died. And when luffy went to the place of execution and rescued him. That particular panel after the sea prison handcuffs came off of Ace. That panel. He tells Luffy that he never listens to what he says and that he's always been like that (w a sweet big smile on his face)

That panel is my absolute favourite. I could've screenshot it but it looked absolutely best when it was playing.

That panel and the one where Ace and Blackbeard fight. The part where they show Ace fully zoomed in with his power as his background. Oh my god. Loved it.

I cried so much when that happened. The part where he saved luffy and ... :(

I fucking hate Aakainu.

Stupid asshole.

I love Garp tho.

After that they made me cry more by showing their past

And I was also very sad that he questioned his existence like that, I kept being like, hey. I want you to exist. And of course you matter. Anyone who thinks otherwise are pieces of shi.

But I was writing this because Luffy is at Dressrosa rn and Mingo has held a competition where the winner will get Ace's flare flare fruit and I was just plain mad at that shit.

A little part of me hoped that somehow Ace is still alive.

Another one (plus updated the previous one :)) part 2 of making me and my siblings into demon slayers now that my brother has finally watched the show! It’s my sister and me! With much better art and much better design than 4 years ago, hopefully

For my sister, I leaned pretty heavily into medicine, giving her a role more similar to that of Shinobu within the Corps: not primarily a fighter, and helping treat wounds sustained by other slayers in battle as a healer. My sister is, in the real world, a doctor, and I have massive respect for the amount of hard work she’s put into getting to where she is now. She’s such an inspiration honestly <3

Giyuu is what I call a poor baby because we all know he's depressed including his bad thoughts so when you decide to take a bath with him he clings to you like a leech letting his body relax to feel your soft brown skin against his your his husband and he doesn't care he will do anything to keep you to himself

Shinobu we know she has her ways even with that fake smile she keeps to hide her anger but when she's with you she brings her walls down she can tell you everything and you'd comfort her she feels like you are her drug she cherish your brown/Melanie skin if she sees even a scratch on your skin who ever did it Will die a slow painful death

Misturi ah such a sweetheart and a cheerful girl she loves getting her braided so when you allow her to play with your dreads/afro she's ecstatic she can't help but blush over your chocolate skin or you lips it's like having eye candy and she loves it she may be sweet but if anyone tries to take you from her they will regret it

Obanai he may seem like a stubborn asshole who acts like a brat especially since he his quite insecure and his slit mouth you often have to force this boy to eat which he declines but when you give his scars soft kisses he's a mess he acts all shy and stuff like a school girl when her crush asks her out but he glares at anyone who comes near you

Rengoku this man is like so prescious like he makes your whole day just go great cuddles with him are just too cute he's like a big owl begging for attention especially if you are not paying attention to him he literally wants you to touch him and when you do he'd be all over you maybe even giving you love bites he often has that smile on his but if anyone flirts with you he's staring into their soul

Tengen is the definition of cocky and spoiled he always gets what he wants but when you figure out he's spoiled and acts like a brat you always put him in his place which he tries to be dominant but fails miserably and he knows it he acts like a man child when he gets put in his place but don't get it twisted he will kill anyone who dares to touch his husband especially your dark skin it's his to relish in no one elses

Sanemi he's a hothead seriously he's literally chrisean rock if she was a male ngl like no matter what your still his husband he's not afraid to throw hands and we all know it you'd literally have to hold him back because he about to woop somebody's ass it's ridiculously funny but he loves butt pats or butt rubs how much ya wanna bet ☠️
