He don’t like school be honest to many devils and so but he is surprised this he’s father let’s him out of the house to school Normally he’s father wants to know what exactly he do he doesn’t know why it’s just him the youngest of he’s siblings the other can do what they wanted as long they don’t pissing of there father

Faust go to the opening ceremony wo he get’s to know wo he going to learning and get to know he’s teachers

And then they go to classes of he’s there are other devils in he’s age he doesn’t pay attention be honest just go to he’s Table wo he’s name is on and make himself ready

As a other devil come to him a royal one wo is pure devil

Devil boy:oh you my table neighbor nice to meet you I’m devel and you must be Faust as fare I see people talk here about you“smile

Faust Stare he can fell I’ll intention but this devil have bright and happy emotion what is normally not a devils nature especially a pure one

So, I read a fanfic called “none but thou shall be my paramour” and it was so well written that it completely changed my opinion on “Doctor Faustus”.

Before that I was primarily a fan of Goethe’s Faustopheles and viewed Marlowe’s version of these characters as inferior, but now I understand that they are simply different.

If Goethe’s Faust/Mephistopheles is a relationship built on mutual jealousy, then Marlowe’s Faustus/Mephistopheles is a relationship built on mutual hopelessness.

Both are divine in nature, but are eternally damned (partly because of their own conviction of this being true). Faustus and Meph inflict pain on each other as a way to show affection, because suffering is the most intimate element of their character.

I have a lot more thoughts about Goethe’s “Faust” because throughout my year long hyperfixation I’ve read a lot more on it than on anything else, but this post isn’t about that.

I liked this translation in the physical manga volume. Specifically, the last line of the first page, and in the second one

Also, just this small panel in a corner of the page, but

Mimosa is healing both Nacht and one of his devils (Plumede)

Healing Plumede happens around the crumbled mask

Plumede is connected to Nacht's shadow

Nacht's grimoire is out, so he likely brought Plumede out to be healed

If not for the clothes as an indicator, I would've thought Nacht was Lolopechka or some random girl.
