Carnivores – Summer island

So, I open for myself an interesting videogame. Interesting about its idea. You are at the island with dinosaurs. And you are someone like scientist or hunter. You walk the island with a gun, for example. Or with tranquility gun (for this you gain more scores) and you need to put asleep several dinosaurs. So, you have a tasks.

By the way, game is unusual. I remember it a lot. You walk not fast. Such ambient. And control is not typical. And you walk and search for little dinosaurs. With tranquility gun. And you have a binocular. Such a fantastic view it has.

Such an island. Rather colorful. Prehistorical. Big trees. Sand. Water. Grass. Hills. Landscape is different. It is summer game. For me. I remember this game by its idea. So, I want to make a point about this game and to tell about it!

Saying the truth, I do not play this game now. I do not get how to play it right. You walk and walk. Try to catch some one. But, about graphics and ideas – I like this game a lot! Last time I play it - it was winter. 2024. And, I can say, virtually, I make a travel to a warm island.

Playing little games. From time to time i like to play videogames. And write about it.

Hi! Seeing that one ask about the Wildlife Park game reminded me of this - are you aware of Dino Island? It's a 2002 dinosaur zoo game, and while not being paleo accurate AT ALL (and despite apparently having mostly bad reviews online alskfksjd), I spent days upon days playing it as a teenager. It had some really cool features like breeding any two dinosaur species AND then having the option to tweak their genetic code to add feathers, horns, change their temperament etc. GMO DINOSAURS!!!! It was silly as hell, but kinda embraced the sillyness, which made it fun I think (at least for me).

Ooh that's interesting! I'll have to check it out

In 2020 Oliver Wing, Henning Ahlers and me published the graphic novel Europasaurus, Life on Jurassic Islands. What we tried to create here was an documentary in book form. Over several chapters you follow a different animals, but most prominently the dwarfed sauropod Europasaurus through their daily, and sometimes nightly, life.

Over 180 pages had to be filled with illustrations and text and I'm rather proud of the result.

So. This was going to be a problem. Danny felt like he was going to scream, even as Dan laughed at their misfortune. Give a tour of some of the Ghost Zone. Fine. Was going well even! They’d even found some sort of dino-ghost zone that his parents were really excited about!

Running away from a ghost t-rex, not fine! Really not fine! The speeder breaking? Super duper not fine! And then a natural portal had opened while they were fleeing! Extra duper not fine! This was supposed to be a quick weekend hangout thing Sam! 

And now they’re dinosaurs, and no he’s not angry because he’s tiny, shut up Ellie! Tucker don’t encourage her! There has to be some way back home… maybe… hopefully… He’s never going to go on another trip like that again.
