What is this genre of character called. Byronic heroine. Byronic villainess. Some secret crazier third thing, we will never know.
What we do know is that they would get along great and make the most unhinged band ever.
Characters ( from left to right): Lucille Sharpe ( Crimson Peak), Catherine Earnshaw/Linton ( Wuthering Heights), Bertha Mason Rochester ( Jane Eyre), and Rebecca de Winter ( Rebecca)

19. sea change for the story thingy!
Sea Change
Waterdeep. The City of Splendors. Home.
Gale spent his whole life in Waterdeep. Sure, he’d gone on a few adventures in his youth, but Waterdeep was always his touchstone.
This city used to be Gale’s entire world. Anything, everything, and anyone he cared about was in Waterdeep. This was his home… but why didn’t it feel like home anymore?
“You seem ‘lost in thought’, as you might say,” Tav remarked wryly over dinner, taking note of Gale’s uncharacteristically withdrawn countenance.
“Hm? Oh, yes,” he muttered, snapping back into the present moment. He took a sip of his wine and looked thoughtfully into the middle distance. “Are you familiar with the phrase ‘sea change’, my love?”
Tav cocked an eyebrow. “A change in perspective. Why?”
Gale reached forward and grasped Tav’s hands. “I’ve experienced a sea change on my own, my love and the waters are more vast than I would have imagined.”
“The world is so much bigger than I realized,” Gale began, looking into the middle distance. “I thought I could see the entire world from my library, but the written word is a poor substitute for the lived experience.” He paused thoughtfully. “You always said ‘these boots have seen everything’, yet still there is more to see; and I wish to see it by your side.”
“What about Waterdeep? This is your home,” Tav asked. They were surprised by the sudden shift in their lover’s perspective. After all, wasn’t returning to Waterdeep together the end goal?
Gale chuckled. “You are my home. Come high seas, treacherous mountain ranges, and the hells below, with you by my side, I am always home.”
The wizard’s eyes glimmered hopefully. “So, what do you say?”
Tav snorted, unable to stifle a smile. “I say we depart tomorrow. How does Rashemen sound?”
“An excellent choice,” Gale murmured, running his finger over the emerald gemstone on Tav’s wedding band. “An excellent choice, indeed.”
