Danny only went to Gotham university because it had a lot of ambient ectoplasm and he could fast track to the arrow space department in Wayne enterprises if he worked hard enough. He didn’t need adopting, he was already 19 years old and had a (strained, very distant) relationship with his parents. When he moved to Gotham, he expected to have to deal with people wanting to make him a new Wayne, not with all of the Gotham rogues immediately trying to adopt him.

So what if he defended Killer Croc from some asshole cops, accidentally exposing his fangs and had a conversation about being dehumanized with him that led to them having dinner on Wednesdays?

So what if he got into a serious conversation about the green gas effect and pollution (Sam had taught him well) with Poison Ivy that result in him coming over for dinner and Harley Quinn declaring him a ‘sweetheart’?

So what if he directed Frostbitw to help Mr. Freeze and now Nora invited him over for brunch on Sundays?

So what if he had a wonderful conversation with the Riddler in which they traded space themed riddles which lead to Riddler seeking him out sometimes for a game?

So what if he helped Mr. cobble pot by making him intangible when some people were driving by in about splash mud on him and he now had a part time job there as a bouncer?

So what if Grundy played tag with him every other Thursday and called him Little Death and offered to eat his chemical engineering teacher who gave him a low grade because he didn’t follow safety precautions?

AI is scraping the whole internet while it learns how to string words together so it can become smart enough to take most of our jobs. it will scrape everything, read books and watch movies and videos and look at digitized forms and pictures and licenses and whatever it can find on the internet and even outside of the internet, it scrapes your work systems it reads your documents and powerpoints and emails. until they find another shiny new toy to sell to each other, the corps will keep AI alive and hungry. the future is unclear and scary and wild. all i have is art and writing and stories and sharing them with you with no motives other than because i love stories and you, a person with a heart and soul that needs art like air, you do too. i will continue to write even if AI eats every word as soon as i type it. and i will still share it with you because i love writing and i love you

Hc that Maglor is very good at telling horror stories. He's a minstrel, a performer, basically an actor. He used to scare his brothers to sleep back in Aman. 

Maedhros mentions this offhandedly to Elrond and Elros, and of course they start pestering Maglor for a scary story. Maglor indulges them. 

The thing is, horror stories that post-Sirion Maglor would come up with are slightly different from the ones he told in Aman. It's the kind of stories that would make Ungoliant shit herself. 

And considering Maglor’s acting abilities, the way he hisses like a wraith and laughs like a maniac, the way his creepy whispers echo down the halls of their half-empty fortress… When the night comes, the twins are suddenly feeling very uncomfortable. 

There are strange noises in the dark, the furniture creaking, the shadows moving… 

They end up hiding under Maedhros’s bed.

Maedhros, with his warrior instincts, notices them, of course, but suddenly remembers that, many hundred years ago in a land long gone, he used to have a sense of humor. 

So Maglor is woken in the middle of the night by the feeling of his brother standing right next to his bed. 

Maedhros, in a very uncharacteristic frightened voice: Kano, there’s… there’s a monster under my bed.

Maglor, half-asleep: Huh?

Maedhros: Two of them, actually.

I know everyone likes to concept of IWTV vamps losing their ability to make good art when they become vampires but, I actually like the idea that sometimes people/vampires just aren't that talented lmaoooo. But immortal vampires have the money and the time to pursue artistic hobbies, plus the desire to reconnect with humanity, so they do so anyway despite a lack of talent.

Like Marius for example is exactly the type of asshole who would be only a semi-decent painter, but use his money and power and influence to insert himself into the art world like he belonged there.

And if Armand is to be believed, Lestat wasnt a bad actor at all.

Like sorry bout it but maybe Louis just isnt a great photographer! And the reason it stings so much is because filthy sack-of-blood humans would dare tell a vampire "maybe you're just not cut out for this."

We know vampires are only supposed to turn only the most attractive humans. Who is more unearnedly confident in their artistic abilities than hot people?
