I lost it

I'm asking for help. I was in the middle of reading the reblogs of a post about Dan and Danny. In this one Danny keeps being called by the justice league and putting them ahead of everything else. Dan was watching on TV and sees Danny go down and loses it. He intervenes. Then we find out that Flash had been trying to impart hero lessons on Danny because he knew of the future where Dan existed and was trying to fix it and in the process causes some damage to Danny. Dan isn't happy. I was part way through reading the reblogs when the page reloaded and now I can't find it again. Can someone send me a link if they know it? I'm invested at this point.

DP AU where the box ghost is actually someone from the future that came back as a ghost to try and warn Danny before all the major battles. The problem is that ghosts are mostly ruled by emotions and since he isn't directly connected to all the battles as they happened, his memories get fuzzy at best so whenever he warns Danny, it's either because there's about to be a world ending event or because someone's cat got stuck on a tree (and anything in between)

So when Danny joins the JL as Phantom they ask him about his rogue gallery. He tells them all about the ancients he fought and skulker and the GIW, even his parents, though he only says they were mad scientists with a huge bias.

And then, after he tells them about the "plasmius incident" they ask whether he thinks Vlad is the one that's caused him most trouble and Danny goes quiet for a bit and looks thoughtful for way too long before saying in a quiet voice "no, that's actually the box ghost. He's always warning me about something. It's terrifying"

The JL are concerned. What could be worse than all the Eldritch terrors Danny has described? They try to ask for details but whenever they bring the topic, Danny gets this lost stare and goes silent until they change the topic or snap him out of it. It's kind of unsettling. So they leave it be. Even Batman doesn't push it (he would rather not traumatize the kid more, thank you very much, he's also wondering if he can adopt someone that's technically dead, asking for a friend).

And then the box ghost shows up at the watchtower. They all come running when they hear the ominous "Beware". Batman activates all the alerts. Boxy just throws a box at him, then leaves. Batman calls for a meeting, most of the heroes were already in the watchtower anyway, he describes the incident to phantom.

Danny: ah, that was just his way of saying hi. I guess he wants to start haunting you too. Should be fun :)

Batman: hn

The JL: ?!?

Danny: Don't worry, I'll ask him to be nicer next time :)

Flash: was that... Supposed to be terrifying? He just threw a box, right?

Danny: 🤷🏻‍♀️

Soooooo Knight Terrors just has Raven, Gar, Vic, Star and Donna in it.... and they're all 'sharing' the nightmare.

Do you know what that means?? Wally and Dick are not there. Dick has his own nightmare situation and Wally was in the Flash.

YEAH. The little baby child Wally in Barry's nightmare WAS ACTUALLY WALLY.

HOLY FUCK I LOVE THAT.

Barry's worst nightmare is Wally dying and not being able to save him and Wally's worst nightmare is disappointing Barry.

This is Good Place levels of insane to me. Wally is dying from an injury he got in a fight and all he wants is Barry to stay with him and not be disappointed. But Barry won't because he's too busy time traveling to try and save Wally. But by time traveling Barry is taking speedforce energy away from Wally during the fight, causing Wally to slow down and get injured in the first place.

Barry can never save Wally because he caused the event to happen and Wally was never actually to blame but he will always blame himself.

Barry is the monster in the speedforce that Wally saw.

All these Danny Phantom x Dc posts got me thinking about that old short with the JL and Ben 10 and now I'm liking the thought of Ben and Danny trying out for The Young Justice team

Each trying to outdo the other and it progressivly gets so out of hand because they are power houses in their own right.

An example;

Danny: I have a Ghostly Wail

Ben: Meet EchoEcho

Or both Big chill and Danny seeing who's the most intangible, obviously neither knowing how to test it so they just take in turns to throw shit at eachother.

Eventually having to get one of the Leaguers to step in because they're off in their own world, only stopping because wonder woman or someone picks them both up by the scruffs before another round starts.
