Do you have any weird mash-ups in your head?

For some reason, for years now, if I’m just at home doing chores by myself or out for a walk or whatever, I’ll randomly think about the final verse of Handlebars by Flobots, where he says “I can hand out a million vaccinations, Or let 'em all die in exasperation”—but then my brain instantly cuts over to If You’re Into It by Flight of the Conchords saying “In the kitchen next to the pantry, You think that might be what you fancy?”

Combining these few seconds from both songs count as transformative content and is therefore my original work, right? I’m not certain how copyright law works.
