I have a question—

What are your top five, favorite Sonic songs?

Oh man I have so many favourites, Sonic Adventure 2 is one of my favourite soundtracks to anything ever, but so many of the other songs are so uplifting and genuinely motivational that I can't help but feel a little more determined when I listen to them. I've narrowed it down though, so here ya go:

Unknown From M.E. - Marlon Saunders and Dredd Foxx (this song is such a bop once you get over the initial shock of the lyrics lmao. The song's surprisingly jazzy for the character this song's describing, considering how Knuckles is more associated with hip-hop in later installments but this is definitely a good one!)

Fly In The Freedom - Tabitha Fair (GAH the vocals, the guitars and wind instruments, the smoothness of it all is so satisfying to listen to and it's so jazzy I love it.)

The Chosen One - A2 (okay this one has a chorus that's kind of. Like a lame 2000s song but to be fair, that's exactly what it is; nevertheless that delicious little guitar melody they have in the verses is so emo and encapsulates the gritty edginess of Shadow 05 perfectly.)

Catch Me If You Can - Runblebee (I'm specifically talking about the Zero Gravity version because that one comes with a complementary string/synth riff that's actually addictive, once it gets stuck in your head [AND IT WILL] it's not leaving.)

Believe In Myself - Kaz Silver (BOO I bet you weren't expecting another SA2 track. Anyways this song is actually kind of motivating?? The guitar in the chorus is super cute, definitely what you'd want in a Tails theme song and the vocals, while not on the same skill level as Tabitha Fair's fit in nicely and do the song a great service.)

OH I HAVE SO MANY MORE AND I COULDN'T FIT ALL MY FAVOURITES ON HERE BUT YEAH!!

I must admit, the catalyst for Rouge becoming one of my favorite Sonic characters is because Fly in the Freedom is a banger and I couldn't help but play it on loop for weeks straight
