Audie and Morello traveled upstairs with Ross, eventually reaching a door that read 6F. The Sylveon took a pair of keys out of her pocket, turning the key in the lock and opening the door. Inside were various cabinets all filled with various medicines, that traveled through the halls in front of them and to the right of them. The halls bordered a room in the center, visible through glass. In this center room, several hundred egg shaped pods were lined up, and each one contained a different Pokemon in various different gestational states, floating in a red liquid and connected to an umbilical cord. Audie and Morello both looked at the center room, their eyes wide. “Wait… What are these…?” The Espeon asked.

“This is our birthing center.” Ross said, beginning to walk down the right hall and look through the cabinets. “The citizens of this planet, Gemini, eventually became infertile - something we scientists and doctors still don't really know why happened. In order to keep the population up, we developed an artificial womb technology for anyone wanting a child. We extract DNA from the parents, usually a hair or some saliva, then use it to fertilize a mon-made egg. The child then forms and develops here.”

Audie rubbed the back of his head. “I didn’t think this technology was possible…” He said, beginning his own search with Morello down the hall in front of them. “But… What happened to everyone else?”

Ross paused for a moment. “It was… A Pokemon named LaPlante. She was sent here centuries ago, from what I’ve read. I don’t know when, or how, but… She had escaped. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that she came back… And to show an example of her power…”

“... She killed everyone…” Morello said.

“Exactly. She scorched everything, and had... Absorbed the souls of everyone she had killed. Said something about… ‘These will do well for Infinity' and ‘You all shall become one, and become whole with me’. I still wonder what she meant by that.”

Audie and Morello remained quiet, both knowing what she meant. Ross continued. “Some folks - myself, you guys, the bandits - hid while LaPlante murdered everyone, so… We’re the only ones left on the planet.”

Morello sighed. “We’re not from here… We’re from-”

“Aha! Found it!” Ross chimed, opening the locked cabinet. Inside was several containers of Penicillin, as well as other antibiotics. She grabbed all of them, and turned to Audie and Morello, looking through the glass walls that separated them. “Come on, help a girl out!”

They nodded, and jogged over to her, taking some of the antibiotics. Audie checked over all of them just to be sure, and nodded to the Lycanroc to assure that they were legitimate. Ross pulled the last of the antibiotics out, and turned around after locking the cabinet. “Alright. Let’s reconvene with your friends… And let’s help those kids out.”

Avett couldn’t do a whole lot, but started with flushing the wounds out. He put both Byrne and Yauch under to be safe, and instructed Solaris to grab some liquids to flush the cuts. As Avett examined the two siblings, he noticed from his peripheral vision that the Charizard limping more and more. Blood covered the outside of his leg, and he moved slower as time went on. Avett looked on with concern. “Solaris… Please sit down. You’re only doing more damage to yourself by overworking your knee.”

“I’m fine.” He responded, quickly and very matter-of-fact.

“Except you’re not. I’m watching you move slower and slower.”

“I’m… Fine.” Solaris forcefully said, setting the liquids down on the table. He panted with every movement, and sweat dripped from his scales. “Help them out first.”

Avett sighed, and began to flush the wounds. Water filled with blood and pus ran down the floor, falling into a drain just below them. The sight made Solaris feel slightly sick. Or was it the amount of blood he had lost? He wasn't entirely sure.

It was during this that Morello, Audie, and Ross found them, sighing in relief. “There you are!” Ross said, jogging up to Avett and setting some of the penicillin down. Audie and Morello followed suit, setting their antibiotics down. "I grabbed all that we had."

“Good, thank you. I can handle everything from here. You aren't the only doctor here.” Avett said, nodding to Ross. "Can you look over the cut here?" He asked, motioning to Solaris with his head. "Here's an antibiotic for it."

"Yeah, I got you." The Sylveon replied, taking the medicine and running over to a set of chairs and sitting in one, as she grabbed a bandage and stitching.

“Solaris, go sit down and let Dr. Ross handle your injury.” Avett motioned with his head to the chairs where she was sitting, still looking down at Byrne and Yauch.

“I said I’m fi-”

“I’m not asking you to, I’m telling you to. Go.” Avett interrupted, looking annoyed at Solaris and pointing at where Dr. Ross was sitting. When Solaris didn't move, instead just staring at Avett with a dumbfounded look, The Machamp gave the him a look that told him to get a move on.

Solaris looked over at Audie briefly. The Espeon nodded assuringly to him. He sighed, rather loudly, and limped slowly over. “Fine.” Solaris eventually said, sitting down and placing his right leg up. Dr. Ross ran over to him, and began to examine his knee.

As the clock is about to strike 12 & reset our life, I thought of you and the journey that we have been on. Still walking the tight rope between the past and the future with a knowing that life is about to be structurally shift forever in this magnificent year that’s upon us. We are together part of a history that’s being written in our own personal capacity & as each cell of our body contributes to us similarly each one of us contributes to the collective universe we create - together we are creating a new world & we collectively have a choice how we want it to look like.

When Saturn Pluto start their 34 year synod on 12th Jan (geocentric) or 10th Jan (heliocentric), we reset the very fabric that creates our little microcosm of existence. It’s the set of life rules, structural boundaries that we live by which help us decide every big decision we take e.g. what road we take when we arrive at a fork. And usually year before this final conjunction is spent in creating this fork cause decision doesn’t just suddenly comes with this conjunction. We are given time & 2019 was that time cause 2020 is showtime. So fork roads were created, choices presented, multiple options created when Jupiter in Sagittarius expanded our vision in 2019 to include more choices in life, making us aware that we are & can be & should be more than we thought we were. We thank 2019 for presenting us through push or pull choices - yes gift of choices that we have.

Mid year in July we would see certain industries & companies or enterprises which were never meant to be Long term or took short cuts in reporting etc not following the moral code of signature earth sign year - disappear into the thin air from where they suddenly came. Credit will be tight from the get go & we would see corporate greed rampant in first half as earth’s shadow side breeds overly focus on resources & power hog by a few which would ultimately not go well. If there was a year to thoroughly follow a moral code, it would be 2020 cause karma in my view would be instant. It’s not about loosing your flexibility, it’s about showing that you want it enough & you are willing to follow the right route to get to it. Don’t loose sight of following the requisite steps in drive to get there.

Dedicate less hours to wondering why it can’t happen for you & more on making your effort efficient - darkness of thoughts is a side effect of too much earth energy but a working cloud makes its darkness rain hard & makes it count - make every dark thought coming to you count for it indicates how much more you want it - and a strong desire finds a way. Get busy working, planning, finding answer - when you see a dark cloud, make it rain!

Never before a sea of people were gifted with such defining aspects that would shape history - let’s make each day of 2020 count.

Quadruplicities: Mutable Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces (Starry Sunday)

Hello, folks! Hope you’re enjoying the warming summer season. For this week’s slightly late blog post, I will be talking about one of the three quadruplicities: Mutable! Yes, the nomenclature for the quadruplicities is slightly awkward. Do I call it mutability? That’s way too long and convoluted a word for my liking. Being mutable? It’s awkward, but hey, these are the terms we have, so I’ve got to work with them. 

So, the quadruplicities. What are they? They are “cardinal,” “fixed,” and “mutable.” They go, in this order, through the zodiac starting with Aries. Aries is cardinal, Taurus is fixed, Gemini is mutable, etc. What you end up with is these groups: 

Cardinal: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn

Fixed: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius

Mutable: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces

A brief overview of each quadruplicity: Cardinal signs are seen as leaders, going in a specific direction with purpose and determination. They have a vision, and they initiate the movement toward that vision. You can see this in the determination of Aries, the matriarchal leadership of Cancer, the interpersonal nature of Libra, and the ambition of Capricorn. Each of these signs starts the seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Fixed signs are seen as stabilizers, creating harmony and stability through the vehicle of their element. You can see this in the diligence of Taurus, the pride of Leo, the depth and strength of Scorpio, and the just mind of Aquarius. 

Because the Sun is currently in Gemini, I will be talking about the mutable quadruplicity today.  Mutable signs expand, journey, roam, and imagine, and won’t stay in one place (Fixed) or concentrate on one pursuit (Cardinal) for long. I like to say that the mutable signs deal with infinities.

Gemini is the first of the mutable signs, and with air being such an abstract, quick, and immaterial sign, mutability becomes quite breezy and light. What forms is Gemini, the air sign least interested in staying in one place for too long. New ideas, new things to learn, new projects to start and perhaps abandon as quickly as they were started. With Gemini, information is quickly gathered, assessed, and distributed as needed. Note I did not say organized. That is earthy Virgo’s realm and instinct. Gemini prefers to learn a lot about a lot of things, not a lot about a few things. Depth is not the primary concern with Gemini. 

Speaking of Virgo, it is the mutable earth sign. Mutable earth has incredible potential when it comes to organization and healing. Virgo is able to understand complicated systems and improve them. Incredibly intelligent and perceptive, Virgo embodies the theme of healing for a reason. The infinity here is a physical one. Sometimes, though, grounded earth and expansive mutability can conflict, which can result in confusion and even anxiety. Nevertheless, we would be lost without Virgos. 

Sagittarius is the mutable fire sign, and is opposite to Gemini. I personally love studying the opposite signs in the zodiac because I find that while they may have very countering views, the themes are the same. Sagittarius, like Gemini, loves journeys and loves the new. Adventure and expanding horizons are where it’s at with Sagittarius and its planetary ruler, Jupiter. Gemini, however, represents primary/elementary school education, while Sagittarius represents college and higher learning. Asking the big questions, Sagittarius looks to other cultures and other worlds for deep, philosophical answers. The infinity here is within identity, within spirit. 

Finally, we have Pisces, the mutable water sign. Water is emotional and spiritual depth. Fire and water are both intensely spiritual, but while fire operates on a present level, water operates on an ethereal level. Fire is temper, while water is a sea. So with Pisces, the infinity is quite dreamy and otherworldly. Remember that Pisces is ruled by both watery, dreamy, mysterious Neptune and expansive Jupiter. Mutability becomes compassion that is just expanding to all people, of all walks of life, from all realms. Note too that Pisces is the final sign in the zodiac, almost like it’s the return of the water in our bodies to the earth, the release of our souls to realms beyond the imagination.

Mutability can result in difficulty concentrating. As someone with a Pisces sun and Gemini moon, I can attest to this. I associate mutability to iNtuition and Perception, if you follow MBTI. It is incredibly challenging to stay with one thing because there is information constantly coming in from all sides to all senses, and while that can be a strength at times, it’s a bit of a nuisance at others. If you have strong Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces influence in your chart, I recommend finding some sort of way to ground yourself in the physical realm, which (unfortunately) we inhabit, along with a human society which prioritizes the physical. 

Nevertheless, there is a place for us. Imagination is what creates new possibilities and new ideas, and where would we be without those? Where would we be without wonders, details, philosophies, and dreams? There is something infinite in the magic of the mutable signs, and there is a place for infinities.

Quick Bits:

Action Comics #1005 gives us a reappearance of The Question and a HERO Dial--possibly counterfeit, possibly just doesn’t work for villains--amidst an advancement of the underground mob arc, a surprising “conclusion” to the arson case, and a revelation of who the Red Cloud is. Although there are many spinning plates, and a decided lack of conclusion to most of the arcs, I actually quite like how Brian Michael Bendis is crafting this story. You could argue that it’s decompressed, but it feels a bit like old school superhero soap opera, and that feel really works for Superman. It’s also aided immensely by the gorgeous artwork from Ryan Sook and Brad Anderson.

Amazing Spider-Man #10 concludes the “Heist” arc in a fairly impressive manner. Nick Spencer really seems to get Spider-Man, Mary Jane, and their world and is delivering some great character moments here, with great heart and humour. Humberto Ramos, Victor Olazaba, Edgar Delgado, Michele Bandini, and Erick Arciniega also do a wonderful job with the art.

Aquaman/Justice League: Drowned Earth #1 concludes the “Drowned Earth” event in fairly epic fashion from Scott Snyder, Francis Manapul, Howard Porter, Scott Godlewski, Hi-Fi, and Tom Napolitano. While this even is definitely a vehicle to move Aquaman to his new status quo for incoming Kelly Sue DeConnick, it’s also been a great story in its own right. Building on Aquaman and Justice League mythology, while also advancing the Legion of Doom and Totality story for the main Justice League book. Also, Super-Pirate should continue as one of Superman’s looks.

Archie 1941 #3 explores bits of basic training with Archie getting into the usually kind of hijinks that he would and the problems back on the homefront with those left behind. I really like how this series is coming together, looking at some of the basic personal fallout from the war. Also, Peter Krause and Kelly Fitzpatrick’s art remains a huge boon to this series.

Barbarella #12 brings Mike Carey and Kenan Yarar’s run on the series to a close, with a kind of retrospective as one of Barbarella’s early antagonists attempts to exact revenge. Very nice guest piece illustrated by Jorge Fornés and Celeste Woods. This has been a fun and entertaining series, definitely feeling like some of the stranger sci-fi that you see out of Europe.

Batgirl #29 has some great art from Paul Pelletier, Norm Rapmund, and Jordie Bellaire for this conclusion to “The Art of the Crime”. Also some very interesting development in the status of the Dark Web and Grotesque.

Beyonders #4 takes a different approach to the material that the team already has, leading them to a new location wherein they hope to save the world and unravel the mystery. The light humour adds a nice touch to the otherwise dense subject matter.

Black Panther #6 gives some much needed backstory, focusing on the Emperor, his rise to power, and his connection to the Wakandan pantheon. Very interesting implications to both where the gods went and in the Emperor being a host for a symbiote. Beautiful guest art from Jen Bartel, Paul Reinwand, and Tríona Farrell.

Coda #7 has some pretty big revelations as Hum & Co. confront the Pilot, and his schemes to “fix” his wife look like they’re baring fruit. Si Spurrier and Matías Bergara really are creating something epic here.

Daredevil #612 concludes “The Death of Daredevil” from Charles Soule, Phil Noto, and Clayton Cowles and with it Soule’s run on the title. It’s good, with some nice character bits and twists for this final chapter.

Die!Die!Die! #5 burns Bethany and Theodore as “Paul” turns on them for his side of the battling senators, even as John confronts his side alerting them to something nefarious being afoot. This is still mostly an insane action book, but at least there is something resembling an overarching plot and direction developing.

Edgar Allan Poe’s Snifter of Terror #2 gives us an entertaining and somewhat strange adaptation of Poe’s Ligeia from Rachel Pollack, Rick Geary, and Michael Garland. Also a very different take on Jules Verne from Stuart Moore, Ryan Kelly, Rico Renzi, and Rob Steen. This issue is rounded out by a poem, another prose piece, and a wonderful new Black Cat short from Hunt Emerson.

Faith: Dreamside #3 takes Doctor Mirage and Faith into the deadside where they’re searching for Monica Jim’s soul. Very interesting landscapes and characters from MJ Kim and Jordie Bellaire, capturing the oddity of what’s going on in the story.

The Flash #59 continues the “Force Quest” arc with a cursory investigation of the slaughter of Gorilla City. We don’t really get any answers there, but there is a broader bit of information about the four forces as a means to protect the multiverse. Also we learn just how bloody that Gemini are willing to get. The avatar of the forces motif that Joshua Williamson is bringing in is very reminiscent of the rainbow-coloured Lanterns of Geoff Johns and of the various Parliaments (and the Red and the Rot) in Swamp Thing and Animal Man, but it’s interesting to see where he’s going with this.

Hellboy and the BPRD: 1956 #1 begins the next chapter in the BPRD’s history, with change definitely coming as they begin operating under the government’s purview and start having more overt bureaucracy and demands on results. You can definitely see that change in the feeling of alienation that Hellboy’s having from his friends and family as he tries to deal with the loss of his dog. Interesting decision to have different plotlines illustrated by different artists, it kind of echoes the previous breakdown of the series’ stories as discrete units, but now under one umbrella much like the changing nature of the Bureau. Great art in each too from Mike Norton, Yishan Li, and Michael Avon Oeming.

House Amok #3 starts to break the illusion, with Dylan relating how she became disillusion with the madness that her family is living. Gorgeous artwork from Shawn McManus and Lee Loughridge.

Infinity Wars: Arachknight #2 isn’t a bad conclusion to this origin story for the Spider-Man/Moon Knight mash-up character. Great art from Alé Garza, Victor Olazaba, and Ruth Redmond. Really like the design for Arachknight’s costume.

Infinity Wars: Weapon Hex #2 finishes up one of the more balls-out insane Infinity Warps origin tales, from Bens Acker & Blacker, Gerardo Sandoval, Victor Nava, Israel Silva, and Joe Caramagna. This one has been an entertaining mash-up of X-23 with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver that ports over a lot of the irreverence of an All-New Wolverine or X-23 tale and all the nervous energy of Honey Badger into this story.

Ironheart #1 is off to a pretty good start from Eve L. Ewing, Kevin Libranda, Luciano Vecchio, Geoffo, Matt Milla, and Clayton Cowles, working to give a bit more personality and relatable situations for Riri Williams. There’s still the cold and awkward behaviour from Riri, but Ewing is spotlighting that she’s distancing herself and that may not be great for emotional development. Wonderful artwork from Libranda, Vecchio, Geoffo, and Milla.

KINO #11 continues this fairly dramatic change in tone and status quo for the series from Alex Paknadel, Diego Galindo, Adam Guzowski, and Jim Campbell. It is really damn good, bringing in a fair amount of mystery and intrigue, with two Alistair Meaths running around.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #33 gives us a bit of Ellarien’s history as she navigated this universe tending towards entropy and found herself as its sole Ranger. I really like the new direction and mythology that Marguerite Bennett and Simone Di Meo are building.

Old Lady Harley #2 introduces us to a very frightening extension of the Batman idea with Bruce plugging himself in to the Bat-computer in order to police Gotham through his Bat-robots. It’s interesting, though, how Frank Tieri can go from this grim vision of the future to the more ridiculous hilarity of Arkham Asylum as an old folks home.

Paradise Court #5 brings the series to a close with the revelation of what’s been going on in the planned community and what its true purpose really is in dramatic fashion. This has been a good little horror thriller from Joe Brusha, Babisu Kourtis, Leonardo Paciarotti, and Taylor Esposito. If you enjoy Bentley Little or Scott Nicholson novels, you’ll probably like this.

Quincredible #1 is the first Catalyst Prime series to be co-branded with the Roar imprint, Lion Forge’s teen label, (though I suppose at least Superb was also rebranded with it) and it’s a pretty good debut from Rodney Barnes, Selina Espiritu, Kelly Fitzpatrick, and Tom Napolitano. This first issue introduces us to Quin, another teen affected by the Event, who has developed what might be invulnerability. Barnes focuses the story on his community involvement in New Orleans, bringing up class and racial divides, as well as a problem Quin has with bullies, to really make the story feel rich.

Regression #12 continues to be bleak, entertaining the very real idea that the “bad guys” are going to win. I think that’s probably one of the reasons why I like this series, not because the Valgeroti are right or worth cheering for, but because Cullen Bunn has created a compelling horror tale where the wrong thing feels like a satisfying end resolution. Also it comes with some phenomenal, beautiful, and grisly artwork from Danny Luckert and Marie Enger as they work their terror.

Scarlet #4 is an interesting penultimate chapter to this mini from Brian Michael Bendis, Alex Maleev, and Josh Reed. Most of it is discussion of what will happen when Scarlet surrenders and her giving her goodbyes to her friends. Really makes you wonder what’s going to happen in the finale.

The Silencer #11 begins “Cold Cold Heart” and it feels like the title is working towards an end. I know that many of the other New Age of Heroes titles have been cancelled and are winding down, but I’ve not seen anything in that regard to this one. It could just be working its way through change. In any event, it’s pretty damn good. Seeing all of Leviathan as it exists now is fairly neat and the art from Jack Herbert, Tom Derenick, and Mike Spicer is great.

Spider-Girls #2 takes a bit of time to trade stories about Normie Osborn before going to him to warn him about the Inheritors on their world and work some magic on the scrolls of the Spider Cult. Nice character development from Jody Houser here.

Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider #2 explores an alternate reality where Harry Osborn was Spider-Man and Gwen became the Green Goblin. It’s an interesting emotional ride as we see what happened in this reality, beautifully illustrated by Rosi Kämpe and Ian Herring. One thing that isn’t quite clear, though, is why having our Gwen help their Peter find their Gwen because she’s necessary to help our Gwen is blackmail, though. Maybe I missed something, but it seems like the heroic thing to do.

Stranger Things #3 largely works to create an atmosphere of despair and defeat as Will continually tries to reconnect with his mother, or anyone, back in the real world and fails. The artwork from Stefano Martino, Keith Champagne, and Lauren Affe perfectly convey that feeling.

Strangers in Paradise XXV #8 takes a running leap into the strange. Or stranger, as Katchoo returns with the package for Jet. Terry Moore is really taking this tale into a different direction from the initial intrigue thriller plotline. Also, a nice return of Libby and Sam from Motor Girl.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #88 has quite a few “holy crap” moments as the Mutanimals aid the Turtles in repelling the EPF from Burnow Island. Huge revelations about Bishop’s history and a hero moment from Slash. Dave Wachter and Ronda Pattison deliver some incredible artwork all throughout.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Macro-Series: Leonardo #3 is one of the most beautiful Turtles books I’ve seen. The art from Sophie Campbell and Brittany Peer is gorgeous, guiding us through a fairly introspective tale of what Leonardo really wants out of life, while still advancing major plot points with the fate of the Foot Clan.

These Savage Shores #2 continues this brilliant series from Ram V, Sumit Kumar, Vittorio Astone, and Aditya Bidikar. It is a thoroughly stunning combination of horror tale, tragic romance, and political drama rolled into one absolutely beautiful package. The world is deep and enthralling, brought to life in amazing use of mostly variants on 9-panel grids from Kumar and Astone. The design sense alone makes this series interesting to read just from a technical perspective, but Ram V and Kumar put so much into the story and storytelling that it transcends just style. This is a truly great comic.

Vampirella/Dejah Thoris #3 nicely moves this along, introducing even more of the various peoples of Mars as Vampirella searches for aid for her people. Great art from Ediano Silva and Dinei Ribeiro.

The Warning #1 is fairly decompressed, slow, methodical, but there’s still an interesting premise here of genetic manipulation of soldiers and an alien invasion. The art from Edward Laroche and Brad Simpson is very nice. Laroche has a style somewhat akin to Chris Sprouse and Jonathan Luna and it works to give this a bit of distance echoed by the existential narration.

Wonder Woman #59 continues G. Willow Wilson and Cary Nord’s first arc on the series, with an interesting rebirth and reinterpretation of Ares that’s possibly deadlier than the previous one. Love the artwork from Nord, Mick Gray, and Romulo Fajardo Jr. So far this has felt a lot like Greg Rucka’s original run on the series over a decade ago, a nice mix of modern sociopolitical analogues and DC’s take on Greek mythology.

X-O Manowar #21 sees Juan José Ryp somehow level up his artwork. The designs, detail, and storytelling this issue are just incredible, made even more beautiful with Andrew Dalhouse’s colours. Matt Kindt, Ryp, Dalhouse, and Dave Sharpe are crafting a very interesting next chapter in what started as the Divinity saga, building upon the recent Eternity mini as Aric and co. confront David Camp in New Eden.

August greetings Wild Ones!

Can we take a minute here to breathe? I find August so potent and expansive, sometimes I need to run and hide in a cave and eat grounding food to keep myself from floating out into the atmosphere!

Here's what's happening:

Lionsgate Portal, at its peak today, and waning until August 13th.

New Moon August 11th, Partial Solar Eclipse, AND Perseid Meteor Showers!

I've been dreaming, astral traveling, having communication with guides in the last week that have illuminated my purpose with new insights. How about you? What dreams or visions have you been having?

The Lionsgate Portal is something that occurs every year in July/August and is felt most strongly on the 8th. The Sun, Earth and Sirius move to specific points in the sky. Sirius is our Spiritual Sun and what activates the Third Eye, or Pineal Gland. We open to higher wisdom, or in essence, to our higher self, as well as intuition, telepathy, clairvoyance, etc.

The Perseid Meteor shower will be seen most effectively on the Dark/New Moon on the 11th, and its energy can be harnessed for communing with extra-terrestrials, calling up connections with the Fey/Underworld, working with Goddesses/Gods, or deep vision questing. Leave spell casting for the day after the Dark Moon, unless well versed in the nuances of such work, or there is specific banishing work to be done. The darker entities are easily summoned on this day, best to leave this as a day of rest from magic.

If you'd like to work with the number 8, allow it to help you find balance between the material and immaterial worlds. Tap into its magnetic forces of renewal and infinity. 8 also speaks of abundance. Include these elements in your meditations.

Lion’s Gate opens for us to receive radical wisdom. Throwing all things into flux for us to witness and re-calibrate. It is beyond letting go of what is not working our lives.

It is an energy that is asking us to choose ascension in each word or action to ourselves and others.

Who do we have on our side that will support us as we rise in embodying our wisdom? Who can withstand the regal radiance of our expressed heart space? What energies serve us? Take your passion and turn it into light by radical heart centered action.

Currently, meditation is important throughout the Mercury Retrograde. Even if the meditation is just sitting by flowing water. Companions will be clear calcite, Icelandic spur, quartz, rose quartz, and sunstone.

There are now 6 out of 9 planets in retrograde. Retrogrades bring all that needs to be addressed to the surface. If you feel that someone is out of character, it is due to what they have been suppressing. Everyone, even yourself, needs plenty of compassionate patience.

The New Moon is the last partial eclipse of the summer. Peaking at August 11 th at 08:02:08 UTC time with the moon in 17 degrees of Leo, the Sun at 18 degrees Leo.

Aspects discussed further will be the Leo Moon and Mercury Retrograde in 14 degrees Leo quincunx the Retrograde Saturn in 19 degrees Capricorn and Retrograde Neptune in Pisces at 15 degrees. The positioning creates a yod; a geometric positioning in a chart that is also known as the finger of “God” pointing to fate and destiny and karma.

Fate is pointing her finger to the illumination our subconscious desires of our hearts and how we express our talents.

Neptune brings in dreams. The dreams will be more prominent during this time. Especially for Leo, Scorpio, Taurus, and Aquarius. Neptune also brings up manipulation and deceit. We can easily deceive ourselves by believing we cannot have what our heart truly wants.

From this space, it is also easy to continue a pattern from a concern of lack the needs of food, shelter, and love. The retrograde gives insight to how we have been continuing this and the core wounds which manifested the behavior. The heart knows what it needs out of a logic far beyond the analytical mind.

Saturn’s role here unveils karma contracts to either be assigned or annulled. Making it a wonderful time to clear, delete, and dissolve any cords and contracts with your mind, body, soul, and relationships that hold you back from claiming the authority on your radiant, wild power.

As I go about the signs, note that the rising sign is the vital component. Sun is for how life is perceived. The moon will show the journey of the emotions. Mercury is how we meditate and communicate.

Reading the descriptions for one’s Venus and Mars will reveal about finances and friendships or instinct and sexuality. May you use these descriptions in a way to ascends your confidence and consciousness in all aspects of your life.

Aries

The eclipse happens in your 5 th house, eager for you to get the creative project off the ground. Beloved Aries, your expression and creations are perfect as they are now. Yes, even if they do not feel fully formed. People need you to do what you do best for the greater good. Keep being the leader and show up regardless of what is going on or how you feel. Forgive those who trespass against you by not forgetting but by making your boundaries firmer. Be direct in your compassion and understand the most loving actions can be letting go. Allow the bounty of blessings that are ready for you.

Taurus

Uranus became retrograde in your sign on the 7 th . It is too easy to fool yourself in being unable to manifest what you need. Go back to your values. Eclipse in your 3 rd house of communication. Honor your truth, speak it with your heart, and allow others to show up with their truth. Saturn in your 8 th house has been nudging you to build own resources for your future. Uranus retrograde in your 12 th is leading to spectacular insight. It is a perfect time to shift patterns of belief that have karmically played out in your lineage. Look to how your parents have had relationship to money, themselves, and others in their life. Chose what you adore and what is time for you to shift.

Cancer

Uranus retrograde in the 11 th house will bring friends and connections. These connections are usually people you have just started to get to know or have always admired you from afar. The eclipse in the 2 nd house of your own image and values. Your finances reflect how your feel about yourself. If you feel you are radically changing, accept it. Lose all concept of what others expect you to be for them.

Leo

Simply radiate from your heart. Meditate with your hands on your heart. Uranus in your 8 th beckons your intuition and spiritual growth. Go back to old practices that have been swept under the pace of life. Most likely practices and routines you had in 2016. Saturn is bringing a lot of awareness to your body so take care of it kindly.

Virgo

Mercury retrograde is bringing up aspects of the subconscious that need to be deleted. The inner critic can hold you back from choosing your own reality. The words that speak in your mind as you think are potent during the eclipse and new moon. What you think, you will create.

Negative Gemini Bad Baby e.p. (2018)

An artist we played on Omega WUSB then didn’t think much of after the fact. That was until we caught a second wind of hers in “Bad Baby”, making our June vision rundown thanks to Lindsay French’s sweet-‘til-it-hurts chorus (“you’re really bad, baby”) in a heated passionate ode to the other half. The rest of Bad Baby goes all over the map, from serene ambient crossing with drum and bass (“Infin Path”), to spooky pop a la’ Ariel Pink (You Weren’t There Anymore”) where French tussles about desertion. Keys in “Skydiver” thrust down as slow-moving carousels through the clouds and is one of Bad Baby’s more feel-good tracks. “My Innocence” opens up to warmer brighter days, possibly paying tribute to Black Marble’s synth aesthetics. The self-titled track’s video features the shockingly attractive French green-screened and over-imposing herself; moving around wildly in her long-sleeves, leather jacket, and Calvin Kleins because she knows what she’s got.
