-Aryu isn't really his rival in any way, but sometimes Tokimitsu feels as if Aryu is trying to get your attention too much

-is Tokimitsu even capable of genuinely having a rival?

-he keeps all of his jealousy to himself because he's so anxious about overreacting and doesn't want to make you feel bad

-although you notice something's off and confront him about it, Tokimitsu can't lie to you so he tells you everything about his jealousy

-you comfort and reassure him that you and Aryu are nothing more than friends and that there's no need to be jealous or worry

Kunigami (ft. Shidou)

-when you first mentioned spending time with Shidou, Kunigami immediately got incredibly jealous

-he didn't say anything at that moment and hid his jealousy because he thought it would fade at some point. Also, he just wanted you to have fun and be happy even if it's with a person he sees as his rival

-but his jealousy doesn't fade at all, it only gets stronger and he starts being passive-aggressive whenever you mention Shidou

-being passive-aggressive isn't usual for Kunigami, so you realize there must be jealousy behind it

-it's a bit complicated to reassure him because Kunigami trusts you, but he doesn't trust Shidou

Rin (ft. Isagi)

-gets VERY jealous every time he sees you around Isagi or if you just talk about him

-he knows there's nothing besides some friendship going on between you and Isagi, but he hates the fact that you spend time with his rival

-Rin doesn't talk about his feeling to you, though. He just keeps it to himself and it makes him irritated very often

-you hate it when Rin doesn't openly communicate his feelings, and you have to pressure him a bit until he finally tells you about it

Isagi (ft. Kaiser)

-can you imagine how much Isagi freaked out when you told him you got partnered with Kaiser for a presentation?

-Isagi doesn't even want Kaiser to get the thought he could flirt with you, so Isagi intentionally holds your hand and kisses you more whenever Kaiser is around you

-Isagi also starts arguments with Kaiser A LOT which you always have to stop

-you need to reassure Isagi a lot to calm him down whenever his jealousy grows too much

-same as Kunigami, Isagi trusts you but he doesn't trust Kaiser

Hi! So I am relatively new to the Jedi games but became so quickly and deeply obsessed, and seeing another user send you a headcanon has inspired me to share one too, because I have no one I can talk about this stuff with IRL, haha. I guess a warning that it's kinda nsfw (like, VERY mildly), so it's TOTALLY okay if you don't want to post this.

Ever since finishing the game I've been thinking so much about Merrin and Cal and how their relationship will change now that they've admitted and embraced the fact that they have feelings for each other. Part of me for a while was thinking maybe Cal had his "first time" with someone he met through the Rebellion in the five-ish years between Fallen Order and Survivor, but the more I thought about it, the more I felt that it would be more in character for him to uphold the part of the Jedi code that forbids romantic attachments. Like, he was just so focused on fighting the Empire that even when a slight interest in a person did arise within him, he convinced himself that it was not only against the code, but a distraction from the fight. So, he pushed all those feelings away.

This leads me to my headcanon that Cal's first time is with Merrin after the events of Survivor. While I don't have lots of specifics in mind as to when or how it comes about, I imagine that when it does happen, it is the softest, slowest, sweetest first time in the history of first times. I like the idea of Cal, this person who dives headfirst into everything and (as Cameron once said himself) "kind of likes to fight," just being incredibly thoughtful and deliberate and maybe even nervous about allowing himself to be that vulnerable with another person. Like, all these powerful emotions and powerful physical feelings would be overcoming him, and the sheer magnitude of it all would cause him to slow down and ask Merrin to lead the way, and he'll follow, so that he knows he's not hurting her or taking things too fast.

And Merrin, who is always ribbing him and teasing him and having silly banter about who's stronger, who's faster, etc., abandons all of that during their first time and is just purely kind, patient, attentive, and present with him, taking pleasure in taking the lead and cherishing the trust that he's put in her. And when it's over, I like to think they just lay together talking quietly for who knows how long, with Cal holding Merrin tight against him and Merrin tracing her fingers along his skin, maybe along his tattoo or his scars, while they tell each other stories and pretend like they'll never have to get up and leave this wondrous place <3

My offline Star Wars community is pretty small, so it's nice to have people on here to share ideas with :) So glad you enjoy the Jedi games!!

There's a lot of narrative weight to Cal and Merrin: the Nightsister massacre being led by a lightsaber (Grievous), the manipulation from Malicos, the Jedi views of attachment and dark magick. They're both survivors of a war that destroyed their families, and they take turns helping each other heal and grow.

Almost every main character in FO/Survivor is a foil to Cal in some way - but unlike all these fallen Jedi, Merrin looks to the future and finds new purpose while still honoring her past. I think that's something Cal really admires in her.

I love the trust and steadiness that they have together regardless of romantic attraction. Admittedly I haven't read Battle Scars and didn't go into Survivor wanting a relationship for Cal, so I may not be the best person to share intimacy headcanons with?? But I'm supportive of the story Respawn wants to tell, and recognize the weight/importance of their connection when it comes to Jedi 3. These tags on my recent post are kind of where I'm at:

Also Star Wars is very much lacking in the "healthy relationship that LASTS and no one DIES" department so if these two can break the trend, that'd be great 🙌

Doodle idea or general ask/prompt! I saw Our Flag Means Death as a fandom you’re into. How do you think Astarion or one of your OCs would look or function in that universe? Would they prefer Black Beard or Stede as a captain? What would their job on a pirate ship be? How would they dress?

What a beautiful prompt! I absolutely adore pirates and, fun fact, I've got an ongoing Black Sails fanfic on my ao3 🤭 kinda on hiatus due to BG3 brainrot but it's out there!

I'm gonna put up a trigger warning here for: discussion of abuse, prostitution and sadomasochism, and I'll put my reply under the cut (it turned out very long yet again).

P.S. OFMD friends I'm sorry this is showing up in your tags. To briefly explain we're talking about a crossover between OFMD and Baldur's Gate 3. Feel free to skip 🫶

I do think Astarion would prefer the old school Blackbeard as his captain, maybe Valeriy would also, but Veles would definitely prefer Stede. However, at the same time, with learning vulnerability being a big theme for all these characters, I think either captain would be fine for all three of them.

Tangent but I think Veles being in Stede's crew would help him so much with his feelings of inadequacy and his desperate need to be useful at any cost. Stede would show him that it's okay to just exist and be yourself.

I imagine Astarion and Valeriy would have followed Blackbeard until he meets Stede (where Veles would be) and then, just like in the show, Stede and Veles's side would teach Blackbeard, Astarion and Valeriy's side to be gentler, kinder and more vulnerable.

I can see Astarion, Valeriy and Veles being in a polycule in this AU but get this: Valeriy and Izzy. I'm obsessed with it now omg.

Fun fact: some of Valeriy's original backstory versions include him being a pirate. This never fit into the overall story/lore however, so I scrapped it.

I'll yap about this more later but let me tell you what I think each of them would do. First things first, I'm honestly not sure what Astarion would do, I don't think he'd be ranked too high, but I also don't think he'd be ranked too low. Somewhere in the middle imo.

Valeriy would be like Izzy's own right hand man and/or ranked just below Izzy. They have a similar ruthlessness to them.

Veles would be a master of navigation on Stede's ship I think.

I think I'll draw them in this AU actually, but I'll come back with that later.

I think Izzy and Valeriy in particular would work so well together because, just like Veles is distinctly a masochist due to his backstory, Valeriy is a sadist, except that Valeriy has a much healthier approach to his sadism than Veles has to his masochism. I've talked about this sm already but Veles's masochism transcends sex and he most certainly sees himself as an object. Valeriy is nothing like that, he's very careful, gentle and communicative if there's any sadomaso play going on, and he keeps it all in the bedroom.

I don't think I need to explain why Valeriy's sadism would work well with Izzy, OFMD fans have talked about it enough for me haha. But I wanna reiterate that I imagine it all being consensual and mindful, honestly very much unlike Astarion and Veles where at times it gets super messy due to them both being messed up in their own right.

How about how I imagine they became pirates? I mean it's a pretty simple answer. Historically it's pretty accurate, to my knowledge, that people on the margins of society escaped to become pirates. It checks out because Astarion, Veles and Valeriy are all a flavor of queer (bi, gay and pan in my hc). But also, all three of them have some type of abusers to run away from as well as an overall bad life situation (think Valeriy who's already escaped his father, but has only landed himself in prostitution instead. he'd like to leave that behind).

Random bit of a headcanon here, I think Veles would be a person of color in a non-magical AU, and I think that because of the racism towards drow analogy in DND. I'd probably completely redesign Veles for a non-magical AU, but all in its time.

I think Veles would be super cool with the rest of Stede's crew. He'd be very shy at first I think, but he'd find acceptance within the ranks.

I'm also thinking about, once the two crews join, Valeriy would really enjoy listening to Stede or Lucius read to him. Another fun fact: Valeriy reaaaally likes books, he simply can't read them on his own. Meanwhile I don't think he'd have many opportunities to be read to in Blackbeard's crew (this isn't an Ed is illiterate thing btw, this is an Ed has a reputation thing).

I started when I was a lil kid, probably about 6 years old!

It's just me n my laptop wherever we end up! Usually on the couch or in bed! I love writing in coffee shops but I'm often too anxious to be around other people ^^;

What’s your most effective way to muster up some muse?

Playlists, baby!! Or watching/reading something that scratches the same itch as the stuff I wanna write. Usually some good horror :3

Did the place(s) you grew up in influence the people and places you write about?

Oh, absolutely! My works are very Australian in nature!

Are there any recurring themes in your writing, and if so, do they surprise you at all?

There's themes of uhhhh.... isolation vs. connection, that's one that comes up a lot. Mental and physical illness too. The bendy nature of reality. Anti-capitalism. I'm often surprised when the same themes pop up over multiple works, since I don't often plan it that way haha

Would you please tell me about your current favorite character? (Current WIP, past WIP, never used, etc.)

My favourite character currently is Alex! Alex is from "A Rental Car takes a Left Down Rake Street and Disappears". It's a vampire lawyer who preys on despicable predators human society will never hold accountable. Alex is an intensely private person who prefers to keep to itself, but it's also deeply kind and always looking to help others when it can. It enjoys gardening, sleight of hand magic and expensive wines :3 Alex has my favourite character arc in the trilogy!!

Which of your characters do you think you’d be friends with in real life?

Ripley!! Her sense of humour is similar to my IRL best friend's. She's loud, boisterous and silly, and the fact that she talks so much means I wouldn't have to talk as much which is always a bonus c:

Quinn. They're such a shady bastard. They'd hate me and I'd be scared of them lmao

What’s your reason for writing?

It's my way of communicating with the world and connecting to others!

Is there a specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating coming from your readers?

When people tell me they resonate with my stories in terms of, like, shared experiences... I love that! Some of the comments I still think about all the time have been from fellow psychosis-havers telling me they resonate with my depictions of psychosis or that my stories made them feel less alone. But I adore all comments!

How do you want to be thought of by those who read your work? (For example: as a literary genius, or as a writer who “gets” the human condition; as a talented worldbuilder, as a role model, etc.)

I wanna be thought of as... spooky... >:3

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

Characters and worldbuilding! By worldbuilding I don't mean Creating Worlds (I suck at that) but crafting unique premises and putting my own spin on things like vampire lore and interdimensional portals :3

I'm very happy with it!

If you were the last person on earth and knew your writing would never be read by another human, would you still write?

Probly. I think I'd go stircrazy without it. It's my way of understanding and processing the world and my feelings on it. Plus I'd get bored otherwise.

Both! But I'd say I mostly focus on what I might enjoy!

As such, my priorities lay amidst my studies with fanfiction being an escape and much loved reprieve. Updates will be unpredictable, but (hopefully) not scarce.

Typically, my writing centres around female readers, however, I am and have been working on explanding my audience and increasing my writing to include gender neutral, amab, male, and afab readers. Creativity and imagination is a way of life. Writing's just my chosen method of expressing it.

Completed manuscript haha. I'm not Tolkien, nobody's gonna wanna read my version of the Silmarillon.

q3) who (or what) is your writing inspiration?

Err- Real life, I guess? My dreams, too. I take what I see and make it into a story.

q4) which is worse: someone you “idolise” reading your first draft or listening to you sing?

My first drafts tend to be really neat, so singing. My singing's atrocious.

q5) has writing from someone else’s pov ever changed your own perspective?

Not for writing, but debating? Yeah, sometimes getting put on opp for a case where I'd rather be gov makes me see a whole new world.

Tumblr. I like the community here :)

q7) ao3 wordcount, and are you satisfied with it?

Err- My AO3 contains things I would rather not share with this mostly family-friendly blog, but my wordcount's about 30k there. In total, though? 250k words or so.

q8) what movie/book/fic gripped you irrevocably?

Lolita, definitely. I read it as a 13 year old, then as a 15 year old, and as a 17 year old, and it still breaks my heart every time.

q9) what’s the highest compliment you could ever be given, and have you been given it?

The highest compliment would be for someone to say I made them cry/rage/laugh from my writing, and I'm pleased to say I once managed to send a friend into a fit of fury from my writing (it was Heroes that did it, mind you. She really hated Mara.)

q10) what defines your writing style?

I experiment a lot with styles, but I'd say I have 2 main ones. The more high-fantasy descriptive style, and something lighter and more fast-paced.

what led you to create it?

I wrote something I was insanely proud of, and felt the need to show it to the world.

what’s your favourite thing about the writeblr community?

The mutual interaction! So fun to watch my brain rot over someone else's OCs, and vice versa.

what’s one thing you’d like your mutuals to know about you?

I'm a nice person, I swear. If I've ever accidentally upset any of you, just tell me! I'll try my best to rectify whatever I did.

is there anything you’d like to see more of on your dash?

Not more, but I'd like to see less politics. My life's stressful enough without that stuff

which wips or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?

I'm still dying from The Fae Prince, because holy crap that came out of nowhere and took my brain by storm.

how long have you been working on them?

I never work on projects for long, sadly. I just don't have the attention span for them! My oldest active project right now is Mind of a Mercenary, and it's 7 months old (I started it on New Year's Eve last year)

do you remember what inspired them/what got you started?

Yeah. Luna's been a fav of mine since I was a 14 year old, and I always wanted to tell her story. I felt I hadn't done it justice the previous two times I wrote it, so I tried again!

how much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?

I only actually think about writing when I'm actively writing, haha. So about 2 hours a day?

Horror and fantasy! It's pretty easy cos I'm a stickler for those genres.

Naturally, Hans-el, as long as I don't take too close a look at what I'm typing. Otherwise, Luna. Her inner monologue sounds an awful lot like mine.

do you ever cringe at them?

All the time.

how much control do you feel you have over your characters? do they ever “write themselves,” refuse to cooperate, or do things you didn’t expect? to what degree? are some less cooperative than others?

That depends. The more I write about a character, the more they refuse to follow instructions. That's what makes Ina so damn hard to write. Woman's lived in my head for a good 15 or so years, now.

what makes you want to follow another writeblr account? do you follow ‘em as you see ‘em, or take time scoping out the blog to make sure you align with its content? do you follow based on wips, or vibes?

I follow them as I see 'em!

what makes you decide against following?

Too much politics. I cannot express how much I hate to see politics on my dash. I have real life for that stuff. Also too much religion/ideology. The only things I tolerate on my dash are fandom, cats, and writblr stuff.

do you interact with non-mutuals often?

Occasionally? I mean, I do try to reach out to whoever I see in the community, even if I haven't followed them yet.

do your mutuals’ characters occupy space in your noodle?

My noodle is currently occupied by JavaScript, so no. But soon, I will have time to go binge everyone's writing again, and I will find my next obsession amongst my moots' writing!

'Sinday', or Sexual Sunday. I'm inherently exhausted of people relegating all things sexual to merely this one specific day. I think that the community (or rather people nowadays, and this makes me feel/sound like a boomer, but never could I have imagined such a massive mental discrepancy between being in my mid-30s, to when I was in my 20s) simply refuses to let things normalize into... normality. The more that we insist on releasing such content on a specific day and never any other, the more we inherently make it something akin to taboo. Not only that, for some took it even farther and started calling it something that is tied to the word sinful, which is honestly the icing on the cake when it comes to proving my point. People are making it something equivalent to shameful by calling it that, which is something that this same generation aided in rebelling against because religion had tried to condemn it for so long in similar fashion (is that not why we chose Sunday for it to begin with, as a 'haha'?) Sex isn't something taboo, it isn't something to be ashamed of in any way, it isn't anything bad, so why is it being relegated to one day as if it's unfit for any of the others? And to those who don't want to be subjected to seeing any of the content, that's fine, we respectfully tag it and we always have, as we all understand that it isn't everyone's cup of tea. being put to rest (however violently) and being pulled back into being alive has to be horrific for anyone. But because im the #1 jewish peter parker fan, i kinda want to comment on this with a bit of a jewish lens as well.

In Judaism, there isn't really a heaven/hell/etc. It's described as a type of oblivion that is as far from heaven as possible. The dead exist there without knowledge or feeling. There is a total disconnect and inability to communicate with god. I wanted to mention this because imagine the surprise of not being disconnected from god at death, but instead being forcibly man-handled into resurrection. Peter very well could have thought he'd be free of his curse once he died. Sorry pete but life has more in store for you.

In jewish tradition, it is customary for someone to be buried within 24 hours of dying. Today, this concept is translated to 'as soon as possible' and is a bit more lenient. It is the family's job to bury their dead, but if they are unable to do so it is up for the community to take up the task. There are no exceptions to the burial rule; "even criminals who have been put to death, the unclaimed slain, suicides, and strangers to the community" would be buried. It is a tradition created from compassion. "To be denied burial was the most humiliating indignity that could be inflicted on the deceased, for it meant 'to become food for beasts of prey.'" Prior to burial, it is also customary to have someone, typically family, accompany the body of the deceased out of respect, as they are seen as defenseless, and as a comfort to the soul that rests within it.

I wonder if he would have ever thought about that aspect of dying alone. Was there any kind of debate, whether it'd be worth it to die as Peter Parker, a boy with a name to his face and an aunt at home, or to die as The Spider-Man, fighting for whats right, but a stranger to everyone, alone? And what of when he wakes up again, after death, knowing he was unburied, left to rot. If that isn't a signifier of just how alone he is, I don't know what is.

There are two ways he could have been honored, i suppose. The traditional sense, through his family's and community's customs. Being laid to rest beneath the ground with others at his side. Or on the streets of the city, alone but dying for everything his family believed in. Finding solace in following in their footsteps. He gets neither, of course.

Hii im a newly discovered system and I cant see into headspace clearly yet so would you happen to have any advice on how to see headspace?

Hey. We’re also a “newly” discovered system (if you count knowing about our system for around 2 years to be new), and the way our headspace works is really complicated. I feel like it can vary from system to system. Also we’re a DID system, so if you’re not trauma-formed, our headspaces may work totally differently. Still, we’ll talk a bit about how we see our headspace.

First of all, I say “we” but I’m the only one in the system who doesn’t have even partial access to the headspace. I’ve seen it once or twice, when a few members of my system worked hard to describe/show it to me, but I don’t really ever exist there. When I’m not fronting, I tend to be suspended in stasis until I front again. That’s just how our system works. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to visit the headspace.

Our headspace consists of a few areas. There is one area which has existed for nearly our whole life. It made up of a pair of houses (the ones we grew up in) and we had no hand in creating it or bringing it about. I guess it works as a visualization tool, but we have lots of parts who are stranded or trapped there, reliving trauma memories and unable to access the rest of us. Through treatment we’re working on understanding this area of our headspace and reaching out to the parts who are stuck there.

The rest of our headspace was consciously created by a few members of our system. It exists as a place outside of the homes we were abused in, so that those of us who are able to communicate with each other can have a space to exist inside that isn’t re-traumatizing. Again, I don’t really go there, but I know enough about it from existing in my system for a while haha.

It was made using visualization tools and imagination. It’s a fantasy, made up of things my alters think about. We don’t view our headspace as a physical place, but to my alters, it still feels like a physical place when they’re there. We’ve always had a very active imagination, so it never really took much work or focus for my alters to put up a headspace.

From what I understand, it started by Kiki and Toby just… imagining what a safe space would be like for us. The more times they imagined the same thing, the easier it was to picture it. Eventually, an area would just stick around, even when they weren’t actively thinking about it. At that point, the imagined idea became a part of the headspace.

Some systems just don’t have headspaces. Some systems have always had a headspace. Some systems have to consciously work to make a headspace. Some systems have a vague or partial headspace, and have to do visualizing and imagining to fill it out. Every system is different, so seeing into the headspace may be a very personal thing for your system.

There used to be a blog on Tumblr that posted headspace inspiration. I really don’t know the @ or else I’d tag them. Using Pinterest and searching for inspiration online can be a great way to figure out what you’d like in a headspace. Then it’s just a matter of spending some time focusing on it, imagining it, and fleshing it out inside. I’m sorry we don’t have any resources on helping you achieve this… but we wish you luck nevertheless!

I think emotion wise he can be the type to feel jealousy but logic wise he's trusting of his partner and we communicate so he wouldn't find much reason to... Um to answer the question i think when kiawren is still pining then yeah, I think wren hangs out with Ilima becuz he helps wren with academia and research and the places to do fieldwork in alola cuz I think he's done research to write his own papers as well idk I forgor what's Ilima's academic qualifications that's what I have for now, then yeah kiawe gets jealous but when they're already dating then not really.. How he copes with it... Just seethes in secret or asks wren why he needs to spend time with Ilima so much (but trying to be subtle about it he will not say he's jealous or anything at all) but he will understand cuz wren has said it themself that he prefers spending time with Kiawe the most and everyday will still find time to do so, so honestly kiawe doesn't need to worry about wren avoiding him or spending less time with him or anything, if anything he shoukd be asking why the hell wren wants to meet him every single day

Well they don't rlly get into arguments cuz they can communicate and wren is chill and would avoid conflicts. Though, they really do have parts of their characters that really do conflict. Like wren being too passive and slothful regarding their commitments while kiawe is actively working hard every day, maybe one day he might really try to sternly tell wren to get their stuff together if they really want to reach their ambitions instead of dreaming all day, but then again whatever kiawe says abour wren's flaws will be valid as hell becuz his criticisms are not petty but actually genuine so honestly wren woukd be like damn yah ok you make sense and they won't argue or anything.

Alsoooo... Okay yeah this one could be realistic too — kiawe gets reallty worried about not getting into his dream school to study dance abroad, and wren assures him by saying don't worry you've did what you can and just don't think about it if it's out of your control basically stuff that kinda brushes off the problem and encourages him to relax instead (becuz wren isn't confrontational about their own problems, this is true for me irl), and kiawe gets annoyed and says you always say that and you never do anything tangible to try and succeed and I'm actually worried and kinda scared about my future and want to take real steps to make me more assured but you're just saying words to make me feel better. Okay becuz this is what I always say to my sister and she's just kinda tired of me saying "it's past 9pm don't think about it" cuz that mindset doesn't work for everyone and for Kiawe I think he believes in the work he puts in helping him reach the outcome instead of just luck or pure optimism, so yeah wren probbaly says okay what do you want me to do, youve literally put in all the work you can and I see it and I think it's more than good enough and reallt reflects your genuine passion so what can I do if you dotn get accepted or if it's deemed not enough.

Q. What is windkin? Are a concept or an elemental?

A. There is no official coining of that label, but i think being windkin is identifying as the wind in one or another. Yes to both lol i dont care much abt microlabels.

The best and only i can describe my identity is being the personification of the wind, especially carrying on the ideas surrounding the "wind", like freedom, open-mindedness, fun or sociability that makes up my personality. Because of that, i kinda relate to birds, but I guess not enough to it be a hearttype.

Q. What is your dragon type? Are you a Western or Eastern dragon?

A. I don't know.....i'm more inclined to say a western dragon, but! If we are talking about humanoid forms as well, then i would be something like the Vidyadhara from HSR which is obviously eastern-based.

And since i imagine myself more in a humanoid form, thats why i use the humanoidkin label.

A. I'm thousands of years old, older than the earth and sun, older than the black hole from the center of our galaxy, i'm eons far from your comprehension and i will die only when this universe implodes.

A. Ok both for dragonkin and windkin its kinda funny. So. I read a LOT of fantasy, like, a lot lot. Especially webnovels. And i discovered my kintypes by reading.

One day i was reading Tensei Slime bc i was bored and i was feeling HUGE amounts of species envy, not of the slime part but rather of the whole "almighty monster with humanoid form" thing. Then i caught myself daydreaming of being a dragon for hours and thought "hm. That doesn't seem really human or normal to think" and as an aro, i knew about voidpunk and when i searched for that i found the otherkin community here on tumblr.

For windkin, i was reading "Elqueeness," and i was feeling not only envious of the protagonist but also the Wind Spirit King side character. I put 1+1 and realized "oh im windkin"

Some time ago, I was scrolling through your One Piece tag, and I saw an anon ask what would happen to Doflamingo's kid after he got imprisoned. You answered that the kid would most likely be arrested, and it got me wondering: would they (Doffy Jr.) be put in jail (imagine being ten or something and getting a life sentence, haha) or would the World Government try to brainwash them to be their loyal government dog? You also mentioned that there would be a possibility if they were young enough that Viola or some other person would adopt them, but who would want to take care of Doffy's kid? Wouldn't the public be wary of them and the possibility that they'd grow up to be like their father?

The Classics

These are shows that I would consider staples of the anime community. A lot of these are from the 1990-2000's. I'm sure some of these haven't aged well but they are nostalgic. This age of Shōnen also has a habit of being what I originally thought of Shōnen being. Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Naruto are good examples but I personally prefer One Piece out of those three.

i do have another writing project now but it's unfortunately not one available for reading at the moment though i do post about it on my tumblr here from time to time.

towards the end of working on the Aria fanfic series I was getting really itchy to get back to working on something wholly my own and with my life getting busier, that's why i decided to give that series the little capstone it currently has and start exploring other ideas.

i toyed around with a couple different ideas and writing sketches before settling on that were a couple of character archetypes from the fanfic and plotbeats that i didn't feel 'done' with yet and wanted to explore more on my terms. so i started working on something in june and now like, uh, 8 months later i'm 47k words into my second draft of a novel project i'm currently calling Soul Rebel (i used that for a fanfic title first i know, but it's a good title okay, it stuck with me).

whenever i post about it on tumblr, that's i've been tagging it as too. sometimes i post draft snippets or thoughts or dump a bunch of vibes screenshots, i've got a concept playlist that i keep meaning to finalize and post at some point too because of course it's not my writing if i don't have music associations going on.

i don't have a good succinct elevator pitch for Soul Rebel's concept yet, but basically the core thrust for it comes from a pretty personal pondering of mine which is: when i first came out, i had a choice. i could have a roof over my head, or i could be true to myself. i chose to have a roof over my head, and i always wondered about how things would have worked out the other way. beyond that i've been throwing pretty much a whole bunch of stuff that interests or terrifies me: the effects of climate change and sea level rise on daily life, the totality of the surveillance state, how the advancement in medical care in a capitalist society only widens the gap between the poor and rich, cool superhuman powers (and their not-so-cool side-effects), queer community, being a neurodivergent little weirdo(affectionate), and the essential value of being kind to others in a cruel uncaring world

i could happily keep infodumping about what i've got so far, but this posting is getting long enough that i'll leave it there for now, haha.

i have no idea what i'll do with this novel once it's finished. i mean, obviously i have some vague ideas for another plot line after it that i want to explore, but i mean like, it terms of putting it out there. i can't imagine ever getting to publish it. the publishing industry is a nightmare to navigate, and while this technically won't be my first finished novel (those fanfics get that honor, i guess?) it's still statistically unlikely to go anywhere. would any printing press out there even be interested in a sci-fi novel with a bunch of queer characters and focused on a neurodivergent trans woman and an in-denial Ace enby?? i've been stuck reading a bunch of YA for my job so maybe there's some book i'm missing, but we seem pretty thin on the ground in publishing rep.

my other thought would be to set up a website and post it online serial fiction style, though i'd want to have the whole thing finished first. i value my ability to revise and rework way too much to give that up again, haha!

so... yeah, that's what i've been fixated and working on a lot in my free time. at least, when i'm not spending time with my partner, playing dnd, or reading. and now i have a second job which means even less writing time, tears.

some day i want to go back and give the fanfic a proper conclusion arc, but right now Soul Rebel's got my creative energy fixation

like i always adore the idea of hana investing her time in the older heroes to try and learn as much as she can. like doing target training with hanzo and respectively talking in their own native tongues. she still teases him for whatever social mess he has gotten himself into that week of course, she is mischievous by nature but holds a huge deal of respect for him too!!! she would invest a lot of time earning his respect and company and i think she would be very interested in the dragons themselves!!

i could imagine her comparing the dragons to her meka, (because she would carry that level fondness and admiration for it!!!) shes like oh theyre just like tokki!! and hanzo just deadpans like respectfully your technological contraption is not way comparable to the divinity and history held by the dragons

whilst the dragons themselves i think they would simply be amused, like hanzo desperately trying to defend their honour and they r like no no, technically she has a point, they would totally have a soft spot for her

i also think hanzo would eventually carry a similar fondness for her too!!! like the different perspective that hana can give! he knows the life they live can be tough and unforgiving and yet she still takes the next day in her stride. some part of it probably worries him as it’s an uncomfortable reminder to how playful kiriko and genji were when they were all younger and how he couldnt of stopped what had happened to them but he never /ever/ would doubt her capability. he’s not that kinda person!

it would totally help loosen him up too, like i could see him only taking part in like self enjoyment very briefly thinking it’s frivolous and time could be spent elsewhere but one night when they had originally scheduled training but maybe something comes up (honestly with all the trans headcannons the idea of hana dealing with menstrual stuff and hanzo being like oh shit yeah lets change plans is a big slay actually.)

so they sneak off of base, this is how hana learns how sneaky he can truly be and he teaches her a thing or too, and head into more central gibratlar and they go find a late night food place/arcade (hana would obviously know the best spots) and they eat the like best worst takeaway food and play games in a quiet arcade and its our favourite causal intimacy (who cheered!!! and all platonic ofc if that was not clear)

but it’s a very fond memory and hanzo is like okay maybe sometimes he does need enrichment outside of his enclosure u know haha

BUT YEAHHH!!!! I wholly agree and enjoy the idea of all the characters interacting on day to day basis. Makes me happy. They all do their part and take turns with the grocery runs, kitchen duty, and tending to the community garden. One big misfit family :>

Hana does contribute when she’s not in her room streaming. As for the older heroes, she definitively respects a certain few like Ana and Rein haha.

With Hanzo, I think their relationship was actually pretty rocky at the start. They def butted heads a lot bc both are such leader types. Hana thought he was way too old-fashioned and overbearing while he thought she was too naive and reckless. I do love the voiceline of her putting Hanzo in his place the most.

But over time, seeing the other sides of the other helped their assumptions change. Hana begins to appreciate Hanzo’s tactical plans because it always gives her an easy escape route whenever she gets overwhelmed by enemies. He admires her vital spirit and always willing to sacrifice her mech for the team. Eventually it turns into Hanzo giving her shooting tips at the training range and Hana challenging him to spicy noodle eating competitions. I hc Hanzo is a polygot and knows Korean and Mandarin (learned it for business). Hanzo whips it out whenever he wants to motivate her or when she’s feeling homesick and can’t call her dad. Hana on the other hand can sense when he is about to ruminate and drags him to one of her streams. He backseats game the whole time, but he is just so deadpan funny, the chat adores him so she lets it slide. She even has a Hanzo unimpressed emote.

Oh yes, Hana absolutely is interested in the dragons. While she thinks the kitsune is Cute, the dragons are just way Cooler. Imagine Hanzo trying to explain all the grueling hours of training he did in order to harness the dragon’s power and control them at will, while they are just nuzzling up to a giggly Hana. He sighs. I can definitely see the dragons sunbathing on top of Tokki on a nice day 😂😂😂

Once there is that mutual respect, Hanzo wouldn’t dare to think she is in incapable at anything. Like you said, he would often be reminded of Genji’s and Kiriko’s youthfulness, so the Older Brother comes out occasionally. But she is different to them because she is so headstrong and knows who she is fighting for. And Hana always comes to him when she wants a serious, no bullshit answer because others tend to walk on eggshells with her due to her celebrity status. She counts on him to be the realist to her idealism.

YEAHHHHH, Hanzo knows what’s up and they sneak off on a hovercycle that he hotwires. Hana comments saying she didn’t know he knew how to ride one of these. While Hanzo just smirks, he has many secrets that only few are worthy of being privy to.

They eat and play at the arcade, casual platonic friendship at it’s best!!! Hana beats his ass at all the games, but he is a worthy opponent. Hanzo def is an expert at those crane games tho, and gets her the pinkest plush they have. Hana gets him those tacky orange sunglasses. It’s a warm pleasant memory for the both of them.

Not really!! They banter a little, but really they communicate quite well and even when it comes to things they don't agree on, they won't argue. I think the closest they get is when she's worried about his safety.

Going back to the previous question, they don't really need to make up. I imagine it would be a lot of nonverbal communication, knowing looks, and silent admitting the argument was stupid and then acting like it never happened haha

Yes!! Red is a nickname, actually. Since she is a princess, he's the only person who calls her that, and it signifies that he sees her as basically a real person, rather than authority/figurehead like everyone else does. And she calls him a nickname as well, but it's a regular nickname that's just a shortened version of his first name, which he likes.

Danny/Helio

14. Do they enjoy PDA, or are they more private with affection?

I think mostly they are private, but it depends on where they are. Helio isn't the type to make out on the street or in a random shop, but when they are at Danny's club they are extremely affectionate. They've even fucked in his office lol

18. How do they care for each other when one of them is wounded/sick?

They are extremely sweet :3 On the page (in book 1 anyway :eyes:) you only see Danny taking care of Helio, who's wounded. It's a lot of gentle touches and trying to give him whatever he needs.

24. How do their personalities affect their relationship? Do their characteristics compliment each other, or clash often?

So after the initial "we're enemies (but not really)" passes, they actually complement each other quite well! The way they view the world is actually very similar, and Danny sees a lot of his younger self in Helio. If they do clash, it's probably because Helio is being insecure about something, but tbh Danny is too patient for there to be any real arguments are anything - after that initial angsty hate-fuck period, ofc.

39. When and how did they admit that they loved each other? If they haven’t yet, why?

Lol the real question is: will they ever actually admit out loud?? RIP maybe never. But they have other ways of saying it, but that's too much spoilers >:3

40. Do they have any regrets in their relationship?

As far as book 1 is concerned, I think Danny regrets how much (literal) danger Helio ended up in because of their relationship, but I don't think he regrets actually being with him. Danny does actually fuck up once, and regrets that, but Helio is so traumatized (see: dying) by the point Danny realizes he fucked up that it's kinda null and void, like it's not even on Helio's radar and he wouldn't even consider it a fuck up? lmao Besides, Danny makes up for it tenfold soon after, so it's just one of those things that he carries. By the end of the book I'd say he's over it though.
