Monday warm up

I'm alone but not lonely.

I'm in search but not seeking.

I have needs but not needy.

I'm unique in every aspect.

I take great pride in being me.

Some say I'm cocky.

Some say I'm arrogant.

A few say I'm self righteous.

Some say I'm say I'm shallow.

Some say I'm weird.

Fortunately for me I'm not driven by what some say.

I live "my"life "my" way.

I'll let the gossip birds tweet and and judgmental choir sing.

I'm going to keep doing my own thing

You say you moved on but keep finding yourself a drift.

Wondering to yourself how could you it happen.

Why did you ever walk away.

You had every opportunity to make it better.

Why didn't you stay.

You moved forward.

It's different but not better.

You know what you need

Have you ever longed for something you can not touch?

Have you ever thirsted for something that you can sip?

Why do we desire such things.

Is it fascination?

Is it enchanted or just plain lust?

What will we do once we obtain it?

We will we prosper or will we fold?

One can't rely on another's judgement.

For only you are the only one that truly knows.

It's not unnatural to have thoughts like that.

When these thoughts enter your mind proceed with caution and don't look back.

Desire what wish.

I've had time to think.

I already know.

For quiet some time I've been entering your mind.

You thoughts have become transfixed on me.

You got some new things going on and feel that's not where their supposed to be.

But yet they are.

The Mello tone of my voice soothes you.

My thoughts process moves you.

My eyes captivate.

You are ensnared in my gaze.

I have you.

Just counting the days.

I'm pure poetry.

More than wonder.

Beyond intrigue.

pure delight.

guilt satisfaction.

I'll be your secret.

Keep enjoying from afar.

We both know who you are.

Today is marks a new day.

I'm burying the past

I redefining myself to live for myself.

I'm taking inventory and making adjustments.

I'm taking in new information and walking with a new sense of pride.

I reliving myself of all from bonds of the past.

I'm deleting old pics, and forgetting old broken promises.

I'm shutting old doors and walking through new ones to claim my throne.

For first time in my life I don't mind going all alone.
