I find it fucking hilarious that I am asexual, and most of my followers are pornbots.

I kinda wish I had figured out I'm aroace sooner.

I'm now 18 and at university and understand the reason I feel so offput by certain topics or why I just simply don't care much about others' romantic/sex lives. But when I was younger and didn't know I was aroace, I felt so out of place and was genuinely confused as to why I wasn't feeling these emotions about love like my friends were. I also think I was confused why if I tried to force these feelings onto myself, I felt like the world was caving in on me. I didn't know why I was feeling this way and I think if I'd known sooner, I would've been a lot happier.

This is why conversations about not only a-spec identities but all LGBTQIA+ identities are so important because the sooner someone who does identify with their identities realises that's who they are, it stops them from having to experience that pain of not understanding why they don't experience life the same way as others.
