a/n helloooo guys this is part 2 from my last fic!! the end is lowkey rushed so im sorry, i’ve been procrastinating this for like a week but here it is!!
A week had passed since I last saw or heard from Chris. I've tried texting him, multiple times. I was left on read. Multiple. Times. Matt and I have briefly texted, and he gave me updates on Chris and how he's doing.
Matt says he seems fine but very distant. Which I find concerning considering he walked in on his brother giving his girlfriend head.
The last time I texted Matt I was left on delivered. I couldn't take it anymore. I tried to calm down by taking a nice long shower, I did my skincare, and of course, I lit a candle. My flat screen tv lit up as I picked up the remote. Pressing resume on Outer Banks.
Not even 15 minutes into the episode, my phone dinged. I picked it up quite rapidly, noticing the familiar name and contact photo.
Chris<3: Come over. We need to talk.
Me: Oh, so now you wanna text me back?
Chris<3: I'll explain everything, just come over, please.
Me: Fine. I'll be over in 20.
Chris<3: Matt is gonna come pick you up.
Me: Wait what? I'm perfectly capable of driving myself.
Chris<3: I know you are. Matt is already on his way so get ready.
Me: Whatever.
Chris<3: Drop the attitude.
My heart felt like it could practically jump out of my chest. One, why the fuck is Matt coming to pick me up? Two, why did Chris want to talk at one in the morning? I mean it is better than being left on delivered.
Getting out of bed, I slip off my robe and put on a blue shirt with a pair of gray sweatpants. My phone dings signifying someone texted me.
Matt: I'm outside.
Me: I’m coming.
Grabbing my keys along with my phone I walk out the door and see Matt standing against the passenger seat door. He nods his head in a come here motion “Get in sweetheart,”
He opens the door for me while I awkwardly walk over. He sent me a tight lipped smile. Not even bothering to give him one back I lift my hand and give him a slight wave.
Once I sit down in the car I start to mentally prepare myself for this interaction. I haven't talked to nor seen Chris since it happened. I look up to see Matt walking around the car, getting into the driver's side. He starts the car, putting on his seatbelt.
He gestures to the heat and the air knobs. “Do you want me to change it?” I shake my head, “No thank you.” he nods his head as he starts driving farther and farther away from my apartment.
“So, how have you been?” I hear him say nonchalantly. Not even wanting to look up from the endless Instagram posts on my phone I say, “Like you even care”
I hear him suck in a raspy breath, I turn towards him to see his reaction. Jaw clenched, hair messy, and a slight smirk on his face. “I do care,” he says nonchalantly. “Yeah, sure, says the one who left me on delivered for three days.”
Before he can respond, we pull up to the their house. Before I can even reach my hand out and grip the handle on the door, Matt locks it. Rolling my eyes once again, I whip my head around, “What are you doing?” I ask with aggression laced in my tone. “I need to talk to you before we get in there without you being a brat,”
“What?” I say with no patience. I really don't care for what he has to say. “Look-”
He gets cut off by Chris knocking at my window. It startled me but I'm happy to see him after a week. He goes reaching for the door handle, not knowing it's locked. When he tries to pull open the door he realizes it's locked. Looking at Matt and scowls at him. “Unlock the fucking door, Matt.” He's muffled by the glass but we understood what he said.
Matt’s eyes drift back to mine, searching for reassurance. I nod my head lightly, gathering my phone and keys in my hand, ready to step out of the car. Matt unlocks the door allowing Chris to swing open my door.
He reaches his hand out, I glance down at his hand and back up at his face. I hesitantly take his hand, whispering a quick thank you. Walking into their house, them following behind me.
I go straight to the catch only to look up confused when I see them both standing, not sitting down. Confused, I gesture to the couch silently asking if they're going to sit down, they both shook their heads no. Pulling a tight lip smile I nod my head awkwardly.
“Chris, I just wanted to start by saying that I'm really really fucking sorry, there's no excuse-” he cuts me off with a laugh that echoes throughout the living room. “Baby, I'm not mad at you,” wait…what? I did a double take making sure I was hearing him right.
“You're not mad either?” I say looking at Matt, only to be met with a soft laugh and a “No sweetheart I'm not.” I'm so confused. If neither of them are mad then why did Chris want me to come over? Why did he leave me on read for a week?
“Wait I'm confused if neither of you was mad, then why did you both ignore me for days?” the words come out of my mouth quickly, I'm not even sure if they registered what I said. “Well, we talked about…the situation and we came up with a proposition.”
“Ooo big words,” Matt mumbles faintly under his breath. I shake my head, still as confused as ever. “So, what is this proposition?” I say in-the-air quotes. They both take a step forward, toward me, sitting down on the couch. “Well um-we-,” Chris stutters until Matt cuts him off. “We wanted to know if you wanted..both of us for a night,” the words could hardly leave his mouth before my eyes bulged out of my head.
“Just to experiment,” I hear Chris say as I turn my head towards him. I didn't know what to think. I mean it sounds amazing but won't this ruin my relationship with the both of them? “But, what If it ruins our relationship?” I ask hurriedly, making a mental pros and cons list. What if they hate me after or, each other?
“It won't, it's just to see what it would be like. Think of it as a free trial type thing,” Matt says as he grabs a hold of my hand, pressing a kiss to the exposed part. “If you're uncomfortable we don't have to do this,” Chris lets out.
“It's not that I don't want to do it, it's just that I'm scared,” letting out a strangled breath. “There's nothing to be scared of sweetheart, we’ll take good care of you.” I can practically hear the smirk in Matt's voice. Chris slowly makes his way to one side of my neck, as Matt makes his way to the other. “Fu-fuck, what abo-about Nick..?” I say in between staggered breaths.
“He at a concert, with Madison,” Matt says groaning against the skin of my neck. “He won't be back for a few hours,” Chris mumbles before harshly biting down on my neck. Matt detaches his mouth from my neck, pulling me up from the couch, “Come on baby,” he holds me by my waist as we walk to Matt's room.
“Lay down on the bed sweet girl” Doing as he says I start to feel nervous, I've never had a threesome, hell I've had hardly any experience at all. Chris sits up against the headboard while Matt starts to make his way towards me from his position in front of the bed. Gripping onto my gray sweatpants, Matt looks up at me, asking for permission.
With my approval, he yanks them off only to be met with my soaking wet core. “No panties, dirty dirty girl,” Chris says with sarcasm in his voice. Maneuvering his way behind me, Chris’ chest to my back, he takes my shirt off also to be met with my bare chest. They both let out quite gasps. “Spread your legs for me darling,”
He starts kissing all over my thighs, skipping where I need him most. Chris starts playing with nipples, pulling and kneading them in the palm of his hand. “Ple-please, Matt,” staring down at him
getting closer and closer to my dripping wet center. “Please what baby? Use your words f’me,”
“I…I need you Matt, s-so bad,” breathing heavily at the sight in front of me. Matt starts placing delicate kisses on my folds. Finally, after what felt like hours he directly attaches his mouth to my clit, sucking and leaving soft kitten licks. Tightly holding onto Chris’ wrist, trying to ground myself.
“Hmm, you like having Matts' mouth being on your ma, does he make you feel good?” still caressing my boobs and now moving lower to my sides. “S-so, f-f-fuck, good,” stuttering like a madman trying to keep my composure. The feeling of Chris holding my hips down and Matt continually circling his tongue around my entrance.
Positioning two fingers at my entrance, Matt harshly thrusts them into my pussy, his tongue returning to my throbbing clit. “Matt, s-shit, faster, pl-please,”
Matt continues to slam his fingers into me, deeper than mine have ever reached. He keeps sucking on clit, I start to feel the knot tightening in my stomach. “You ready to cum baby,” Chris asks from behind me, sucking on my neck and pulling on my nipples. “Mhm, shit, so..so close Matt, pl-pl-please keep going,”
Increases the speed of his fingers, he detaches his mouth from my clit, replacing it with his fingers, rubbing in harsh, fast, circles. “You ready to cum, sweet girl?”
“Yes! Fuck- please, cu-cumming, I'm cumming!” the words fly out of my mouth at a frantic pace. Slowing down his fingers, helping me down from my high. “You did so good for us,” Chris says from behind me. Also, detaching his mouth from my neck, but continuing soothing his hands down my sides.
“Think you can handle one more ma..?” he says with a hint of excitement in his tone. Nodding my head as Chris got up from behind me. “You okay sweetheart?” Matt says, empathy laced in his tone. Letting out a quiet, mhm. “Use your words,” he says sternly. “Ye-yes I'm fine Matt,”
“One more sweetie. Okay,” nodding my head, Chris grabs a hold of my waist, flipping me onto my side. Matt maneuvers himself off the bed, he and Chris stripping from their clothes. I'm still lying on my side as Chris lies behind me. Matt slid himself back on the bed in front of my face, his cock inches away from my mouth.
He looks down at me with a smirk on his face. I feel Chris’ dick slide through my folds, positioning it at my entrance. “Fuck, you're so tight, baby,” sliding his dick slowly into me. My jaw drops, as my eyes close in pleasure. Matt takes that as an invitation to shove his cock down my throat. “Fuckkkk, so good sweetie,”
Chris starts thrusting into me, and at the same time, Matt starts to fuck my throat. Chris grabs my thigh lifting it with his hand so he can hit deeper inside of me. Matt starts to fuck my throat faster. I reach my hand up, massaging his balls in the palm of my hand.
“You take our cocks so well,” I hear Chris say behind me as he thrusts into me faster causing me to lunge forward on Matts cock. “Good. Fucking. Girl.” He matches up his words with his thrusts. Taking my unoccupied hand, reaching down, and starting to toy with my clit.
Chris smacks my hand away, replacing my fingers with his own. My eyes roll back in pleasure as he starts rubbing fast circles. I feel Matt stop thrusting into my throat. Looking up at him with glazed eyes, “Finish the job, sweetheart,” bobbing my head up and down, wrapping my lips around the tip and sucking. Hard. Trying to get him to finish as quickly as possible.
Clenching around Chris’ dick, he inhales sharply. “Do that again, fuck, just like that ma.” I start to feel the familiar knot in my stomach. “Fuck, keep sucking my dick, just like that sweetie, f-fuck yes,” Matt's moans increase.
“Shit- baby, I'm g-gonna cum,” he whimpers pathetically. Fucking his cock to the back of my throat again. “Fuck, I'm gonna cum down this pretty little throat of yours- shit!” moans and whimpers leave his mouth as he cums down my throat. Swallowing every last drop.
Chris’ thrust proceeded to get faster, his fingers never leaving my clit, still toying with it. “Fuck! Ch-chris I'm go-gonna cum!”
“Go ahead ma, cum all over my cock,” with his permission, I cream all over his dick. Leaving a white ring around the base of it. Not long after he cums in me. “Baby, fuck, I'm cumming,”
All of us were on Matts' bed, out of breath, sweating, and the smell of dirty acts in the air. Chris gets up first, getting me a wet towel to help me clean up. Matt stays in the bed with me, brushing my hair out of my face.
“How was that?” he whispers in my ear. “It was amazing Matt,” I whisper in a hushed tone, yawning, exhausted from the activities that just took place. Chris comes back with the towel in his hand, cleaning me up. Matt gets off the bed, grabbing a shirt from his closet.
After everyone gets dressed we all make our way back into the living room. Sitting down on the couch, awkward silence surrounds the room. “So, how do we feel,” Chris says after a beat of silence passes through the room.
“Great,” me and Matt answer at the same time, laughing surrounding the room. “Would you guys want to do it again?” I ask hesitantly.
“I thought you’d never a-” Chris gets cut off by the sound of the front door opening.
Nick walks in, pausing at the scene in front of him.
“What happened here?” he asks while gesturing to the three of us.
“Nothing!” we all say in unison. Nick rolls his eyes as he walks away, “Whatever I'm going to bed. Goodnight good people!”

Yeeeesss!!!!! I can't wait!! (I've been wanting to write this since I started this blog XD)
Masterlist
Part one will have Time, Twilight and Warrior.
Content under the cut!
Time
It was a quiet acknowledgement.
It was unintentional to boot. You weren't looking for anything with anyone. It was just... a bunch of little things that caught your attention.
When he'd ruffle Wind's and Twilight's hair for fun- how concentrated he'd get in the middle of battle- when he'd help braid Wild's hair to calm him down after a bad night. The quiet way he'd support Warrior from the side. Not to mention just how he leads the group causes you admire him in many ways.
And for a time that was all it was. Admiration. Nothing more, nothing less.
Then you got hurt one day. Your palm was bleeding. Nothing deadly or worrisome but it was your dominant hand. The bandages, swelling and bleeding made it difficult to do much of anything. Not to mention that you kept picking at said bandages, making them fall loose.
Time noticed and puled you aside, rewrapping your hand with grim look on his face. This felt worse, somehow. Like you've disappointed him. He looks pissed, even though he's yet to say a single thing to you.
"I'm sorry." You blurt, hoping that it'll ease whatever tension is on his face.
It doesn't work. If anything he looks angrier. "It's not your fault... I just wish I would have gotten to you sooner. this could have been avoided."
Hold up-
Your heart starts beating faster and your face warms. "Im-impossible, Time. You were so far away."
"Mmm." Time grunts, tightening the bandages once more. "Do me a favor, yeah? Get better. Stop picking at it."
He flicks your forehead playfully, smiling at last. The look... takes your breath away. It's far from perfect. But it's soft and genuine and... you've never seen him look at anyone else like that. You swallow the spit in your mouth, hoping that you're not blushing any more than you already are. "...ok..."
"Good." Time sighs and kisses your forehead. "I worry enough about you as it is."
Did your heart just stop? Hello? Anyone home?
"Thank you." You say and smile back, trying to outwardly keep calm. But on the inside you feel like screaming. Is that good or bad? You don't know yet.
Time smiles again and put his hand on your shoulder. He puts the back of his hand to your cheek and winks. "Always."
You stay there stunned and bite your lip. "...cool..."
He snorts and walks away. "Come on. Or they'll leave us behind."
"Right. I lo-" You panic. What were you about to say? Would you have meant it? I love you? Seriously? Just like that? When did this happen?
Time doesn't seem to notice and keeps walking.
Meanwhile your world just turned on its side. Then again- you've known for a while now, haven't you? It just now where it's grown too obvious to ignore anymore.
You take a deep breath and follow the man back to the group.
Maybe you'll tell him. But another day.
Twilight
Twilight was annoying. You hate to say it. But you would really like to get a grip when it came to him.
It was just some.... stupid puppy crush. There was nothing to it. It was nothing serious- but my god, did it get in the way of literally everything else.
He could say something nice or he would try and be helpful and you would be stuttering and fumbling over yourself. It was stupid. Dumb. Idiotic. You wanted to scream.
At best, you could try to avoid him, but he was so gentle. So sweet. You couldn't even be mad.
You sighed and shook your head, hitting your cheeks a few times to try and get a grip.
"You ok, Darlin'?" Twilight comes up from behind you.
You jump and whip your head around to look at him. You feel like you've been caught doing something suspicious- yet all you were doing was standing there hitting your face. "...Um... Ye-yeah. I'm fine. I'm cool! Don't worry about it."
Twilight raises an eyebrow. "Sure. And you were hitting yourself because...?"
"...I'm tired." You lie. "I feel like I'm about to fall asleep any second now."
Twilight frowns and stands a little straighter. "Everythin' alright? Had a bad night or somethin'?"
You cough and nod. "Yeah, something like that. I haven't been able to sleep well lately. I don't know why."
Yes you do. But it's fine. Totally fine.
Twilight puts the back of his hand to your forehead before either of you realize it. His fingers tips move down over your cheeks and behind your jaw. He frowns and leans in. Your breath stills completely, you think your heart stopped beating.
"Are you feeling alright?" He whispers. "I hope you're not getting sick."
You shake your head, gently taking his hand and moving it away from your face. Your attention instantly goes to the way his hand feels in your. Which is totally normal, right? "I don't think so... It just my brain not shutting up these days. I'll be ok."
Twilight leans back and you feel like you can breathe again. "Are you sure? I can help out if you need a break."
You snort. "Yeah? How?"
"I can carry you for a little bit. It's not like it costs anything."
You flush and shake your head, already feeling annoyed with yourself for not holding it together again. Naturally, you want to blame him. "No, really. I'm ok. Come on. We're being left behind."
Twilight nods and moves to walk to the group, still not looking satisfied with your answers. But then Warrior calls him over for something and with one last look to you, he leaves you behind.
It's the perfect excuse to finally break down and scream quietly. You're worse off than you thought. And he's still so sweet. And you can still feel his hand in yours and against your face and the way he looked at you and-
You whine in the back of your throat. "I think I love him."
Warrior
There was something about him that you couldn't look away from. You couldn't say for certain what it was but you liked it.
You like him, to put it simply. He was charming, funny, confident- he didn't hesitate to act and he was always there to put a smile on someone's face regardless if it was at his expense or not.
Speaking of, he kept to your side as it was pouring cats and dogs, sacrificing his scarf to hold it over your heads. You helped him as it got heavier and heavier, huddling closer to his side as it dipped and drooped.
You sigh and looked at him. "How're you holding up?"
"I might have to drop this thing, sorry." He admits quietly. And he's right. You can already see how tired his arms are getting and the scarf is soaked through already, it's not like it helping keeping either of you dry anymore.
Then again, that doesn't answer your question.
You sigh and shake your head, dropping the scarf already. The rain instantly soaks into your hair and shirt, making everything seem twice as heavy. "Do you think we'll reach the others anytime soon? Wild and Time are still behind us, right?"
Warrior sighs also dropping the scarf. Water drips down his face in an instant. "I'm no longer sure. It's too dark to make out anything directly in front of us. If anything, we might be better just sticking to one spot and waiting either for the others to catch up to us or for the storm to stop."
You hum and think about it for a moment. "Do you think there's any cave nearby to take shelter in? I know there's no lightning but I don't feel conformable taking shelter under a tree, just in case."
Warrior looks around, wiping his face free of as much water as he can. He takes your hand and point. "There's that."
It's not much, a large rock jutting out of the ground with only enough space for you both to sit under it. But it'll have to do. You nod and together you both run to the little respite in the storm.
Warrior instantly does his best to clear the area of smaller rocks and twigs for you both to sit comfortable. your heart squeezes a little at the act. He sits down, pressing his back against the rock and pulls you into his side, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. "I wish I do more..."
"This is good enough." You feel yourself growing shy at the close contact. He's never done this before... or has he? It seems so natural to him that he didn't seem to think twice- it's only now that you're noticing it.
You look down for a moment and tuck yourself closer. Warrior takes off his scarf and sets it aside. He takes off his armor and outer most layers. He's warm, you realize and his tunic is still dry. He gestures for you to do the same. Granted, you don't wear as many layers as he does, but by shedding the first one, you instantly feel better and warmer as he pulls you in closer again.
Only his form is more obvious to you this time around- and yours to him. Warrior doesn't seem bothered by it.
You however can feel yourself blushing. This seems awfully familiar to you. Have you dreamed about it before? Your heart is pounding, but it feels good. You feel happy just at the thought of this.
Hold on.... Why?
....Uh-oh.. are you crushing?
"Feel better?" Warrior whispers next to your ear and you look up at him. You bite your lip and nod, unable to hold the look for long. Warrior chuckles under his breath and rubs your shoulder comfortingly. "Good."
Oh, that laugh is going to haunt you now. You liked him. But now it's complicated.

☾☾☾
The next couple weeks were far too busy for your liking. Your boss was calm and kind, but lately she had been busy and stressed, which meant that you were as well. You hadn't had time to venture to the golf course, even though you were missing it dearly.
Something else you were missing dearly, was your father. The anniversary of his death was coming up next week, and you'd be lying if you said that you weren't in a rut.
Sunday, you sat on your couch, soothing your pains with a tub of chocolate ice cream. It was a gorgeous day outside, but nothing you could dream of had the ability to your ass up and moving.
As you sat and wallowed in your self pity, a text lit up your phone. You ignored it at first, until you glanced down and saw who it was from.
Larissa (from golf)
How are you, darling? I haven't seen you in awhile :(
You opened your phone and smiled down at the text. Someone else that you were missing dearly, was Larissa. Since you last golfed with her, you have been slowly coming to the realization that you adored the tall woman. The parts of her that she showed you, and the little that you did know about her, had you thinking about her often, and becoming increasingly enamoured with her.
She was truly gorgeous, inside and out. She was smart, funny, caring, soft, selfless, and just absolutely ravishing. The thought of her had you kicking your feet and blushing. You felt so safe and calm in her presence, she brightened your day whenever you saw her. She was one of a kind, truly.
You have been thinking about what Glen and Tom said, 'She likes women, and she's single.' As giddy as that made you, for some reason, you couldn’t help but question why she was single. Why was a woman, a woman like her, single? Had the gods put this glorious woman loving woman in front of you just to spite you? Just to make you crazy? Perhaps she was crazy? Unattainable? Well, she had twenty years on you, which didn't bother you, but maybe it would bother her.
Yes, that's what she was, unattainable. She was lovely, and as you said, one of a kind. There was nobody else like her, nobody else in her damn league.
You
Hi Larissa! I'm fine, how are you? I've been busy with work, but I hope that you've been at the course enjoying yourself :)
Larissa (from golf)
I've been out with Tom and Glen a few times, it has been fun. It's not as enjoyable without you there, though ;)
You held back a giddy laugh, what a flirt.
You
I miss it :(
Larissa (from golf)
Won't you come out to play next week, Prudence? :)
You
Of course! What day are you free?
Larissa (from golf) <3
Saturday at 5?
You sighed, Saturday was the anniversary of your fathers death.
Alas, what better thing to do on that day besides golf?
You
I can't wait! See you then :)
Larissa (from golf) <3
Take care, darling!
☾☾☾
4-
Saturday had been harder for you than you had anticipated, which was why you found yourself late for golf. You pulled up to the golf course, basically running to the first hole, and found Larissa waiting patiently, wiping down her clubs as she basked in the sun. You trained your eyes on her as you slowed your pace and walked up behind her.
She truly looked angelic, her light blonde hair becoming gold in the sun, and her figure outlined in a soft glow. You stopped and let yourself breathe for a moment, taking in the sight before you and committing it to memory.
Damn, Glen was right, you did have a crush. The more you thought about it, the more you realized that you were downplaying it.
"There you are, love" Larissa smiled, turning around when she felt a presence behind her. She was wearing a light yellow striped polo and a white golf skirt. You had to stop yourself from gasping when your brain registered the image before you.
"Sorry I'm late Larissa. I really have no excuse" you chuckled.
Larissa shook her head and batted her lashes at you, "No worries Prudence, I was just enjoying the sun."
When you got to hole 5, you were setting up to drive, gauging your swing. It had been a peaceful day so far, you and Larissa had been chatting and taking your time.
You heard a golf cart pull up on the path next to you, and you stopped what you were doing. To your total annoyance, the younger man who had served you the other day, and also made rude comments about Larissa, got out of his cart and walked your way. You heard Larissa mutter 'fuck' under her breath.
"Larissa, you're looking fine, as always" he said with a cocky smile.
"Jake, why are you here?" Larissa's eyebrows quirked up in question, an unamused frown on her face.
Jake gestured to another young man behind him, "Why, Brad and I just wanted some playing time with you ladies." He then gazed past Larissa, and set his eyes on you, looking you up and down.
"I haven't seen this one around before, she any good?" he asked Larissa.
"She is, very good. But I would appreciate it if you would leave us to play by ourselves" Larissa basically spat.
"You want her all to yourself huh?" Brad chimed in.
"I can see why, she's hot" Jake said, chucking and nodding to Brad.
You took a deep breath as you looked to the grass. You didn’t want to do this, ever, but definitely not today.
"I'll make you a deal woman" Jake said, gesturing to you. "Let’s play together. If you beat me on this hole, I'll leave you both alone today; but if I beat you, you have to go on a date with Brad."
Your face fell to one of disgust at his words. And why would you want to go on a date with this pretentious, ugly, lowlife man? Was there a reason anyone would want that?
Larissa was shocked at his bet, and she turned your way to gauge your vibe. You were standing there, leaning against your driver, face scrunched up, repulsed. It brought a little relief to Larissa, knowing that you were in fact, not interested in this cocky man, and that you'd rather stay with her.
She turned back to the boys, her fists tightened beside her body in anger.
"She will be doing no such thing." You let a small smile form on your lips.
"Fine, then I bet you, Larissa. And when I win, you have to go on a date with me."
You let out a loud scoff as Jake's lips curled up into a smirk. You then stepped away from the tee and stood closer to Larissa. You watched as her eyes widened, she would be doing no such thing, no such childish thing.
"I will not be-" "I accept your bet, Jake" you said, interrupting Larissa. Larissa looked down at you, eyebrows set in confusion as she took you in.
"Except when I win, you leave Larissa alone, for good" you stated, indefinitely. Jake chuckled and shook his head, "Fine, deal."
"Ladies before gentlemen" you said, gesturing for him to step up to the tee first. He frowned at you, but pulled his driver and made his way up. You heard Larissa giggle behind you, then you felt butterflies in your stomach over the sound. You didn't want to do this, but if you were going to, you were going to do it right.
As Jake set his tee in the ground as you took the time to plan your hits. It just so happened that you were exceptionally good at this hole. You paid no mind when Jake drove the ball, as it didn't matter anyway. You then set up and drove your pro v1, sending it the same place that Jake's ball had landed.
"Well, let's go" Jake said, hurrying Brad into the cart. You looked up at Larissa and ushered her into the cart, following close behind them. It wouldn't be easy to cheat at golf, but you didn't trust these boys, not for a second.
As you drove down the fairway, Jake stopped at his ball. You didn't know exactly where yours had gone, but it was around this area.
"Here!" Larissa said, pointing to the pro v1 in the grass. You let out a menacing laugh, it had traveled further than Jake's.
You watched as Jake pulled a wedge, and shot his ball to the green. You did the same, sending your pro v1 to the green, and hiding your smirk as you did. You took a deep breath to calm your nerves, you really wanted to impress the older woman. But you were lucky, this was going surprisingly well.
As you played, Jake and Brad murmured comments to each other, some of which you caught.  Sometimes Jake would say sexist things to your face, and every time you would tell him to shut up, or Larissa would spit back at him, but it honestly fueled you to do better.
As you ventured back to the cart to grab your putter, you felt Larissa's hands at your shoulders. She leaned down to your ear from behind, whispering in a way that made you hold back a shiver. "You're doing exceptional darling, show them who's boss."
Her praise was enough for you to end up with a birdie and amusedly watch Jake struggle to sink his ball on par. You watched as Jake threw his club to the ground and cursed, to which you threw your hands in the air and ran over to Larissa.
"Hell yea!" you hollered, jumping up and high fiving her with both hands.
"Great job darling! I knew you could do it, I'm so proud" Larissa said, wrapping her fingers around yours. You blushed as you held her hands, "Well, at least he'll leave you alone now."
You heard Jake and Brad talking loudly behind you, and didn't hesitate to turn and walk up to them. Larissa couldn't hear your conversation from where she was, but she watched as you pressed a finger to Jakes chest, your jaw clenched in anger. Your gaze bore into Jake's eyes, relentlessly speaking.
"If I ever see you talk to Larissa or glance at her inappropriately again, I swear to god I will haunt you forever." And that was that.
You sighed as you finished the last hole on the course and sat in the golf cart. Larissa could see plain as day that you were tired, worn out perhaps, and she placed a hand on the small of your back.
"What's got you down, darling? Tired?" she asked sincerely. You nodded your head, averting her gaze, until you felt a tear trickle down your cheek. Larissa leaned over and wiped it away gently, you turned as your gaze met hers. She looked down at you with worry, her blues silently asking if you were okay.
"It's the anniversary of my fathers death" you murmured.
Her shoulders dropped, "Oh Prudence I'm sorry darling, I didn't know."
You shook your head and looked down at your hands, "No it's okay. I figured there was nothing better for me to do today than golf."
You took a deep breath and looked back up at her, your lower lip wobbling.
"Being with you makes me feel better" you whispered.
Larissa pouted, her arms wrapping around you and pulling you close. You laid your head on her shoulder, the warmth of her body bringing you a sense of peace.
"You did so well today, showing up those immature boys. I know what we should do" Larissa whispered.
You pulled back and tilted your head in question, "What?"
The woman smiled as she stepped on the gas, "We should buy you a new driver!"
Larissa took you to the shop, and you slowly made your way around. There were a few drivers that caught your eye, but there was one in particular that would match your set perfectly. You walked up and checked the price, letting out a hum in thought.
Well, that was an issue. It was very pricey, even though it was on sale.
Larissa watched you ponder over it, then walked to you with a toothy smile.
"This one is nice Prudence, it matches your set perfectly."
You nodded, setting it back on the rack. "It is, it's just a bit pricey."
You walked around some more, pondering the other drivers before settling against the wall and checking your phone. You watched Larissa as she looked through the irons, and you took the time to stealthily check your bank account.
After a couple minutes, you decided that you could afford it, barely. You sighed, walking over to the driver and picking it up.
Larissa had watched you check your phone out of the corner of her eye, she knew what you were doing. She decided in that moment that she wanted to make you feel better, to give you a little joy on this rather depressing day.
"Are you happy with this one?" she asked, taking it from you to look it over.
"Yeah, I guess I'll get it. I really need a new one."
Larissa nodded, handing it back to you. You took it to the counter and gave it to the man, digging for your card.
"$600" the man said, and you almost threw up.
"One sec, I'm just looking for my card" you replied, digging through your bag in a rush.
Larissa took this opportunity and walked up to the counter, then you heard a beep. You stopped your rummaging and turned to her, wide eyed.
"Do you want your receipt?" the man asked. "Yes, please" Larissa replied.
She then took your driver from the man and held it out to you.
"L-Larissa?" you stuttered, not believing for a second what you had just witnessed. Larissa smiled and grabbed your hand as she drug you outside, basically shoving the driver into your hands so that you would take it.
"Why, what, why did you pay for this? I-I can't take this!" you said loudly, beginning to panic. Larissa placed her hands on your shoulders and bent down to your level.
"Shh darling, it's alright. I wanted to do something for you. I want you to know that you deserve to be treated well Prudence, and I want to see you happy."
You took deep breaths, getting lost in her deep blues as you listened to her soft gentle voice. "That's-it's so much money though. I don't want you to spend that on me" you whispered, lip quivering. Larissa smiled and pulled you to her.
She mumbled into your hair, "You're worth it darling. Don't worry about the money, because I'm not worried about it."
You almost laughed, you couldn't help but think that only a rich person would say something like that. Your breathing settled as you focused on her heartbeat against yours. Tears gathered in your eyes over this rather emotional day, and you buried your head into her chest and held her tighter. "Thank you, Larissa."
☾☾☾
You were practicing your putting skills with a friend after work. Mark was very good at his job, and he had helped you out with many things since you started. He had just gotten into golf, so in turn you offered to teach him a few things.
Larissa made her way to the entrance of the clubhouse, doing a double take when she spotted you. Her heartbeat picked up, you weren't hard to notice, your distinct look and beauty made you easy for her to spot. She tilted her head in question as she watched you converse with a man, helping him out by adjusting his arms and putter.
Larissa obviously knew how to putt, but in that moment she wished that she didn't. She wished that she needed help with something just like that.
She watched as the man took his try at putting, then he leaned in close to you and whispered in your ear. Larissa's eyebrows furrowed as she took in the scene before her, and she felt herself become a bit defensive. She didn't really know why, but she felt a little, bothered? She wanted to march over to you and interrupt, push herself in between the two of you.
Perhaps she was jealous?
"Do you have the things?" Mark whispered to you, hoping nobody would hear. You tried your best not to let out a laugh, he was being so secretive about something so normal. You reached into your jacket pocket and handed him a brown paper bag that contained condoms. Mark was a sweet and quiet man, and he and his girlfriend were not very outgoing souls. He asked you recently if you'd get him some condoms, as he was too nervous to buy them in public. You were glad that he felt comfortable with you, and you understood where he was coming from, you didn't mind helping a friend out.
Larissa headed towards the washroom, her legs taking her there without question. That man didn't seem like a threat, well, why would he be anyway? It was alright if you liked men, it was alright if you were with someone. She wasn't with you, she really didn't even know you that well. Yet, she couldn't help but be bothered by it.
She quickly shifted into the form of a middle aged man in light golf attire and exited the washroom, making her way to the putting green. When she got to the green she pulled out her putter and eyed you as you were practicing your technique.
The man was gone, hopefully, and you were rather focused on your ball. Larissa's eyes raked over your form, from your determined expression, to your outfit, to your shoes, to your club, to... she looked down at the green and caught something gold on the ground. Was that…a condom?
'Alright, a little more to the left, don’t hit it so hard' you thought to yourself.
"Hi there" a tall man greeted, smiling down at you. You tilted your head in surprise as you looked up at him. He spoke with a British accent, had very light hair, wore pristine attire, and looked rather...well you'd say it, prude.
"Hi" you replied, offering a light smile. As you took him in, you noticed his blue eyes and pale skin, and you couldn't help but think that he'd be perfect for Larissa, if she were into men. You quickly clenched your fist at the thought. Thinking of Larissa with someone else, a man especially, made you bothered, outraged.
Perhaps you were jealous?
"Drop something there, darling?" the man asked, gesturing to the ground. You gazed down as you followed his line of sight, and your eyes landed on a gold wrapper. You pursed your lips in embarrassment as you realized that you had dropped a condom.
"Oh, uh, that's not mine" you lied. The man walked closer to you, bending down and picking it up almost right under your feet.
"Not yours?" he asked, holding it in his hand. You stared at it for a second, feeling embarrassed by the situation. It just felt weird, dropping this, of all things, at a golf course and a man, of all people, finding it.
You shook your head, "Nope" you said, popping the p when you did. The man shrugged and shoved it into his pocket, nodding and bidding you a good day.
Larissa knew that was a weird encounter, and that it would leave you confused. She couldn't help it, though, why did you have a condom? It had to be yours, it was under your feet, and you were the only one on the putting green. You looked really, really embarrassed, even guilty when she had asked about it. There was nothing wrong with having condoms, obviously, but she couldn't help but wonder why you had them. You were far too sweet, to pure to be in the hands of a man. She could take care of you better than any man could, in many ways.
There were hints that she had gotten from you that made her think you may fancy her, but she has been fooled before. She hoped that you were not messing around with men, and she really hoped that you were into women, into her.

5-
Today you were out with Tom, Glen, and Larissa, and you had no bad feelings about a certain slimy dude slithering around. On top of that, you were really excited to use your new driver. Larissa warned the elder men that she may be late, so Tom and Glen decided to start without her.
"Nice driver you got there" Tom said, admiring the driver in your hands.
"You save up fast, huh?" he added with a smirk. You rolled your eyes at him, you knew by the look on his face that he was messing with you, these old men seemed to know everything.
At the second hole, you watched Glen tee off. You always took note of his technique, as his drives were the best you've seen. Well, besides Larissa's, of course. You suddenly felt long fingers lay themselves gently over your eyes from behind, and you let out a yelp in surprise. You got a whiff of rose and frankincense as a smooth accent filled your ears. "Who is it?" Larissa asked, murmuring against your hair.
You couldn't help but smile wide as instant happiness flowed through you.
"Larissa!" you beamed, turning around and gazing lovingly at the tall woman. Your smile got bigger, if that was even possible, when you saw her toothy grin looking down at you with joy.
She adorned a white sleeveless dress, and her light aesthetic, including her creamy skin, made you feel a bit insignificant, insecure. She was the sun, her smile and warm personality lighting up your day with ease. She was the embodiment of life, she was vital to get you through the day, everyday.
And you were, well, perhaps the darkness, perhaps death. Your aesthetic was dark, your thoughts were even darker, and you did not shine in the way that she did.
You thought for a moment that maybe you two needed each other, like the sun and the moon, to balance out. That thought quickly faded though, as you were not the moon. The moon was far too bright, far too intelligent, and absolutely nothing would, or should, change her in anyway, dull her light in the slightest.
Tom chuckled, "Oh, so now Rudy smiles." Larissa's brows furrowed as she turned her attention to Tom, "What? Who?" she asked confused.
"You wouldn't have anything to do with Rudy's new driver there, would you Riss?" Glen asked, changing the topic.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Larissa replied, pulling out her 3 wood. Glen looked to Tom and laughed amusedly, making his way over to you. He leaned in and winked, "Good going girl, got her spending money on ya already."
As the day progressed, you came to realize that your old driver was in fact, holding you back. You were an excellent player, and you knew that, but this driver gave you that extra push you needed to travel yards further.
"I'm surprised Jake isn't up Rissa's ass. I haven't seen him around lately, have you?" Tom asked Glen. "No, I haven't seen him" Glen answered, a smile pulling at his lips. Larissa chuckled and looked at the old men in wonder, "What are you two up to?"
Tom raised a brow, "I was just wondering what happened to him, he seemed to be all over you." You furrowed your brows at the men, the way they were talking was obviously sarcastic, and you couldn't help but think that they were hiding something.
"Last I heard little miss here challenged him for Larissa" Glen said, smirking your way. You blushed. "Last I heard he got fired" Tom added. Your eyes went wide, fired? Had you gotten him fired? No, no, he had've gotten himself fired.
"What?" Larissa asked, her mouth opening in surprise. The old men laughed. She narrowed her eyes at them, "Did you two have anything to do with it?!"
The old men looked at each other, "No, no. Wasn't us" Tom said, putting his hands up in surrender. "We would never" Glen added, winking at the woman.
You stepped on the gas of the golf cart, driving Larissa to her car after 14 holes. She had meetings with the board today, which was her reason for being late, and why she had to leave early. You were thankful that she came out today at all, considering how busy her day seemed to be. Yet, you couldn't help but be disappointed at her leaving.
You drove down the path to the parking lot, going full speed. You didn't speak, as your dark thoughts were, for some reason, taking over. You felt suddenly tired and frustrated, like you didn't have the energy to finish the game, not without her.
A rabbit caught you off guard as it fled the line of trees on the right side of the road and ran in front of your cart. You swerved in an attempt to not hurt the animal, almost falling off of the path as you did. You watched out of the corner of your eye as Larissa squealed and gripped the handle of the cart, as your quick turn almost sent her flying out.
"Shit Riss!" you screamed, reaching out and grabbing her by the arm to pull her back in. You set the cart straight once more, and finally reached the parking lot. When you stopped, your heart beat fast, you realized that you were holding onto Larissa like she was your lifeline.
Larissa looked at you with a shocked expression before she burst into laughter. You watched as she threw her head back as a loud laugh racked through her body, her hand coming to squeeze yours.
Her laughter was contagious, despite your depressing and frightened mood, you laughed with her. Tears threatened to fall from your eyes as you were feeling a myriad of emotions. You could never live with yourself if you had hurt this gift of a woman.
"Darling, that was almost the end of me" she giggled, eyes closed as she tried to compose herself. Tears fell slowly from your eyes as you thought about it. You knew that she was joking, but the possibility of hurting this precious woman wrapped your insides in thick rope and forced them out of your throat. You felt like you may throw up.
"Prudence, what's wrong?" she asked, leaning closer to you with a new found serious expression. You wiped at your eyes and chuckled, "Nothing Riss, I'm really sorry" you murmured. Larissa caught your lousy attempt to hide your tears, and she pulled you tight against her.
"That was fun darling, let’s do it again."
You looked up at her, your eyes glimmering with tears and apologies. "Really?" you whispered.
"Of course, love. Would you be up for night golf? On Friday?"
You smiled, night golf sounded fun, you haven't done that in a long while. "Yes, please."
You drove back to meet Tom and Glen at hole 15, digging out your hybrid. You were quiet for awhile, and Glen and Tom took note of that.
"She likes you, you know" Glen said, walking your way with Tom following behind. You shook your head in disbelief. "No, she doesn't" you chuckled sadly.
"She does Rudy, she told us" Tom admitted. You gazed up at the older men in surprise, but said nothing.
"Did she invite you to night golf?" Glen asked.
"Yeah, she did" you nodded.
Tom smiled, "She wants to get to know you better. She said something about you making her feel younger, making her feel special. I suppose she likes playing with you for the same reason that we like playing with her, but different."
You sniffled as you thought about it, maybe they were right, maybe they weren't always pests.
"I like her, a lot" you mumbled. The older men smiled at each other before Glen placed a hand on your shoulder.
"Okay, here's what you're going to do."
☾☾☾
On Thursday, you found yourself at the mall. You wanted, no needed, a wardrobe update. You often wore pants to golf, but Larissa had inspired you to branch out. You tried on a few golf dresses and skirts, finding enough confidence to buy a black sleeveless dress and a red skirt. You always thought that Larissa looked delectable in her outfits, and you wanted to keep up with her.
Glen and Tom actually gave you some good advice, planning something that you thought would be rather successful, if you could stick to it.
Some days, you were not confident in yourself. You have always been this way, but you worked through it.
Larissa however, was always perfect. Her non judgemental and caring personality made you feel safe under her gaze, but you couldn't help but think that she was too beautiful for someone such as yourself.
When you got home, you couldn't help but feel giddy as you downed some red wine, excited to see Larissa tomorrow night. You tried on your white polo with your red skirt, and decided that it was as close as you'd get to Larissa.
As close as you'd get to being the light, the goddess, the life that she embodied.
For she was the sun, and you revolved around her.
☾☾☾
6-
As the night began to fall dark, you scanned the outside of the clubhouse. You needed a drink (or two) for courage, as you went over Glen and Tom's plan in your head.
It was simple, make a bet with Larissa, win. Make a bet with Larissa, win. Make a bet with Larissa, wi- "Good evening, love."
You whipped your head around to find Larissa marvelling down at you. She was wearing a sage green golf dress, and she looked absolutely exquisite.
"Hi Riss!" you beamed, your heart beat picking up rapidly.
"Are you ready to play, Pru?" She looked down at your drink and side smirked, "Or do you want to have a drink first?"
You nodded as you scootched over a seat and gestured for her to sit. The waiter brought her a glass of red and she held it out to you as her other hand landed softly on your thigh.
"To the end of the summer" Larissa smiled.
You clicked your glass to hers, "To the end of the summer."
The night was beautiful. Many stars were out, shining in the vastness of space and displaying their infinite beauty. The course felt different in the dark, but you liked different. The artificial lights lit up the night peacefully, and you were excited. Nervous, giddy, scared, and excited. There weren't a lot of people playing tonight, and for that you were grateful.
As you and Larissa started hole three, you put the plan into action. You knew that if you waited any longer, you would wait until the game was over. Yes, you were a master of procrastination.
"Hey Riss?" you asked, fidgeting with your hands as you stared from behind. She was setting up to tee off, but the timidness in your voice made her turn around. She walked closer, not stopping until she was directly in front of you.
"Yes, darling?" You tried so hard to hide your smile, your enamour, your nervousness, your feelings, but as you looked up at her, you were almost positive that the truth was written in your eyes.
"Do you want to make a bet?"
You watched as Larissa's eyebrows raised, but her smile never faltered.
"What kind of bet?"
You instantly blushed, looking down at the grass and composing yourself. You looked back up at her, some confidence finding you as you replayed Glen and Tom's words in your head. 'She likes you, you know.' 'She does Rudy, she told us.'
"We will keep score from now until the last hole. If you beat me, well, you can choose whatever you want, but if I beat you.." You took a breath, "If I beat you, I get to kiss you."
Larissa's eyes widened, as did her smile, before she put on a façade, tilting her head to show that she was pondering accepting or denying.
"I suppose I'm down with that, but I'm not telling you what I want until I win" she winked.
You smirked and nodded as relief washed over you, "Fair."
You put your everything into the game. You truly did your best, praying and even manifesting, which you had never tried before, that you'd get to kiss this absolute goddess.
Larissa however, also played her best, which was slightly better than yours. She found it adorable that you had thought of this bet and had the confidence to carry it out, all because you wanted to kiss her. She was proud of you, she was happy, actually she wanted to scream with joy.
You, a beautiful and kind young woman that she admired, that she adored, that she was infatuated with, wanted to kiss her, an old and fragile woman.
Yet, she had a plan of her own, and it didn't involve you winning.
As the game went on, your instincts told you every now and then that someone was watching you. Larissa felt the same, she knew that you were staring her down as well. She blushed and shook her head discreetly, hoping you wouldn't catch her infatuation. She knew that you couldn't take your eyes off of her, just as she couldn't take hers off of you.
When you got to hole 6, you took a washroom break. Larissa was nowhere to be seen when you returned. You looked around as you pulled your driver, and found that you were all alone.
"Riss?" The dark frightened you. You always felt like something, or someone, was going to come out of the woods for you. You placed your tee in the ground while searching nervously for Larissa, perhaps she also went to the washroom. You realized that her clubs were set close to yours, so she couldn't be far.
You shrugged as you lined up your driver, ready to send this bad boy flying and win the bet. Just as you took a practice swing, you heard rustling in the woods. You froze, staring wide eyed into the darkness. Where was this woman? Being alone was starting to creep you out. You shook away your freight, and slowly walked closer to the line of trees.
You stared into nothingness for a moment, finding nothing and hearing the same. You hummed questioningly and turned away, planning on ignoring whatever you had heard, but as you turned and took a step, you felt arms wrap around you and pull you into the bushes.
You screamed as you fell onto your ass, grunting when you landed. You then heard laughter, menacing laughter. No, it wasn't menacing, it was charming.
"Darling, are you quite alright?" she asked through giggles. You turned quickly, meeting Larissa's entertained gaze. "Larissa!" you squealed, swatting at her as you threw yourself into the woman. You pushed her playfully onto her back, hovering over her as she chuckled.
You giggled at her antics, "What the fuck!"
Larissa cupped your face in her hands as she looked up at you. She winked, "I got you."
You were pulled away from your putting when Larissa cooed "You look absolutely ravishing in that outfit, darling." Your jaw dropped as you stared down at the green, a harsh blush appearing on your face. You chuckled nervously, "Uh, thank you Riss. I thought I would expand my wardrobe."
Larissa crept closer to you, close enough to brush her fingers across your waist.
"Very good choice" she whispered. You quickly turned around to face the tall woman, she was closer than you had expected.
You narrowed your eyes at her, "Are you trying to throw me off?"
Larissa smirked and leaned in closer, "I don't have to throw you off in order to win, love."
You swallowed hard, your breathing becoming ragged. This woman knew how to flirt, and damn did she get you going.
At hole 9, you were almost shaking with anticipation. Oh god, why did you think this was a good idea?! You wanted to win, but you also didn't. Alas, you had no choice in the matter as Larissa was a few strokes ahead of you, and you knew that there was slim chance you could win now.
You focused on the game, not saying a word as you acted unbothered by Larissa's soon to be victory. You watched in disappointment as she sunk the ball, and you followed. At this later hour, the night was black, only artificial light allowing you vision.
Defeated, you sighed as you placed your clubs into your bag and sat in the passenger seat of the cart. Larissa didn't allow you to sit for long, however, as she pulled you gently up and placed her hands on your waist.
"This was so fun Prudence, it's always delightful playing with you."
Larissa spoke quietly, and with a sincere expression that made you weak in the knees. You had hugged this woman a few times before, but the feeling of her warm hands on your waist and her face so close to yours made you quiver. She was a vision, half of her lit up in an orange yellow glow, and the rest, darkness.
You smiled, placing your hands on her arms, "It's always a pleasure, Larissa."
You were never the best at picking up on vibes. Yet, the way that Larissa was holding you and gazing down at you, along with the elder men's confirmation, gave you enough confidence to take a chance. You wanted to take it back as soon as you whispered it, but it felt like a reflex, it felt right.
"I like you a lot, Larissa." Larissa's eyes widened as she gazed down at you. She wasn't surprised at what you had admitted, but she was surprised that you actually admitted it.
Actually scratch that, she was surprised. She had hoped and prayed that you had feelings for her, but she never let herself believe that you could, until she heard the words come out of your mouth.
You held your breath as she smiled wide, scrunching her nose up as her eyes crinkled. You swear you'd never get tired of seeing her smile like that.
Larissa quickly pulled you closer to her, your face ending up in the crook of her neck. You breathed in deeply, your heart settling at the smell of her skin.
"I like you a lot too, Prudence."
Your face lit up with joy immediately. You were elated, surprised that she would admit it. Or perhaps you didn't believe that she could like you back, not until you heard it from her velvet voice.
Happy tears slowly gathered in your eyes as you spoke. "I-I really like you Riss. You're absolutely gorgeous, you're funny, you're a joy to be around, your smile lights up my day." You pulled back slightly, cupping her cheek. "I just want to squeeze your cute face every time I see you" you chuckled.
You then frowned as tears threatened to spill. "I can't help but think that you're too good for me, though, too good for anyone. I mean, I don't have a great job, I don't know what I want, some days I can't get out of bed, I'm anxious, I'm insecure, I'm-" Larissa cut you off before you could say anything further with a soft kiss. You shivered as your nose brushed against hers, and then you felt her warm lips on your own. You hummed as you revelled in the feeling, hands wrapping around her neck to pull her closer.
Larissa pulled away slowly, her lips now just unreachable.
"Don't put yourself down, darling. I'm not too good for you. I won the bet, and that's what I wanted. This is what I want" she whispered.
You blushed profusely, hiding your face in the woman's neck as you smiled.
"Thank you Rissa" you murmured, kissing her neck lightly.
Larissa took in a shuddering breath at the contact, she didn't want to let you go.
"Would you like to come back to my place, darling?"
As you two walked off of the course hand in hand, you couldn't help but admire her. You felt so nervous that you could pass out, but her presence brought you all the peace. As you marvelled up at the woman in the dark, you realized something.
She was the sun, you were the moon, and you couldn't help but think that the she belonged with the darkness.

“Y/n your jokes arent funny anymore ok, your getting on everyones nerves right now”. Howdy says in a very annoyed tone. You and Howdy where on the phone bickering for about 10 minutes all because you wouldn’t stop prank calling the neighbors all week.
You cursed, “Well I’m fucking sorry that i just wanted to have a laugh every once and a while”. “Well it not every once and i while, ITS EVERY FRICKING DAY”. Howdy was getting realy annoyed at this point, like, REALLY annoyed. He felt bad for yelling but he had to say something. “Listen y/n, im sorry for yelling but, you need to calm down for a bit”. Howdy stated trying to calm himself down. “Listen Y/n i gotta go, I’ve got “Wally” stealing apples again”.
(Howdy hangs up)
Tears prickled your eyes as you placed the phone back down. A small stream of tears came down as the hiccuped slightly. You got up off the chair you where sitting on and headed to your room. You then brought out a small F/c box, opened it and grabbed a F/c pacifier. You then slipped it into your mouth and grabbed a small bee stuffy and hugged it tight. You lay on the floor silently crying yourself to sleep.
(Time skip to a week ish)
“Hello Poppy”. ”Hello dear, say, have you heard from Y/n lately, they haven’t done there “daily” prank call for a week”. Poppy states sounding quite concerned. No matter what the person has done, she will alway be concerned if something is off. “I mean, I did kinda go off on them before about the pranks”. Howdy rubs his neck while putting some fruits away. “WHAT! You know how sensitive they are”. “Yeah but-”. “No buts. You better go over to Y/n’s house and apologize to Y/n”. Poppy demands. “I- yes ma'am”.
Howdy finishes closing the shop and heads to Y/n’s house. “Now to see if Y/n is still alive”. He walks up to your door and knocks. “Y/n? Hay uuu- sorry about earlier, but, I just wanted to check up on you since, you haven't done any pranks”. “Well I guess your busy right now, I'll come back later tomorrow”. *glass shatters from inside*. There's a slight cry coming from inside. ”Y/N”!! Howdy yells opening the door. “Everything ok-”? Howdy says with wide eyes. He sees you curled up on the kitchen floor crying and panicking while there seems to be a glass jar shattered. “Hay, hey, it's just an accident, you ok”. Howdy says in a very calm tone pushing the glass out of the way. “Y/n please look at me”. You look up at Howdy with tears streaming down your face hiccuping. Howdy is at shock by seeing you sucking on a (F/c) pacifier but then calms down when he realizes that you're a little. “Hay bud, can you tell me how old you are”. Just by hearing him realize that your little you kinda calmed down. *You hold up 2 fingers*. “Aww your so little”. Howdy picks you up and cradles you in his arms. He starts walking to your living room and sits down on the couch. The tears start to stop so all you guys are are small sniffles. “I'm sorry about last week, I was having a bad day and I really didn't mean to take it out on you, do you forgive me”. Howdy looks down to see filing with the paci clip. “Non-verbal”? *you shake your head yes as You slowly close your eyes*. “Awww, sleepy little one”. After a minute or two he hears small quiet snores coming from you. “good night little one, sleep well.”
I'm sooo sorry this took forever to do. I have SATs and finals going on.

🖇️. YANDERE IWAZUMI X FEMALE!READER
Tumblr media
This story will contain; Yandere!Iwazumi, mentions of abuse, yelling, cussing, abusive behavior/language, weapons, threats, mentions of death.
"Iwazumi p-please put the whip down! I swear I wasn't give attitude!" I whined out, my voice cracks with tears running down my eyes, I was running around the house with Iwazumi following me with a whip in his hands.
The bruises and scars haven't healed up since the last time because I refused to say the words "I love you"
"Cmon Y/n~! Stop being such a bitch and running away and take your fucking punishment like a good little girl yeah?"
"N-no please!" I continued to run up the stairs, almost tripping. I quickly run into a random room and shut the door, locking it. Sobbing, I go to the corner of the room and sat on the floor. Bring my legs to my chest with my arms on top of knees with my head down.  I'm begging for this to be over soon and that Iwazumi will calm down.
All of a sudden, I heard loud banging on the door.
"OPEN THIS FUCKING DOOR Y/N"
I began to cry even more, I don't even want to live anymore. The banging got louder and louder to the point Iwazumi just began kicking it., I knew I should have left this relationship to begin with. I grabbed a chair from one of the desk and put it under the doorknob. I look to the side to see a window. I quickly ran over to the window and I start to struggle to open it but it's not bulging.
Please, please, please, please open!
Iwazumi's bangs and kicks got louder as I continued to struggle opening the window. What I noticed was that there was a lock at the bottom but it just wouldn't crack open.
Out of nowhere, it was dead quiet. Almost as if the entire world disappeared without a trace. I wanted to open the door and sprint out but I was way to nervous, what if he was still out there?
Suddenly, I walked towards the door and before I opened the door I stopped myself.
He could still be out there.
I walked back where the window was and starts again on trying to open the lock on the window, fuck why did I have to put myself in this situation.
The door begins breaking into pieces.
"IWAZUMI WHAT THE FUCK!" I yelled out.
My eyes widen, there was a hole in the door now, I was able to see the anger and craziness in Iwazumi's eyes.
He had a fucking axe in his hands.
I knew he was crazy
But not this type of crazy.
"You don't want to open the door? Okay well that's fine...I'll punish you so bad you'll beg me to fucking kill you!" Iwazumi continues to hit the axe against the door breaking more holes into it before kicking it down with not problem.
My tears started coming back down my face once again
At this point, I started banging on the window yelling at the top of my lungs.
"SOMEBODY HELP! P-PLEASE! hes...hes GOING TO KILL ME" I sobbed as my words were heard as I threw myself against the window until I felt somebody grabbed me back my hair.
"Well aren't you naughty? Fucking disobeying me? Notice how your actions is going to get everybody around you hurt someday?"
Iwazumi threw me onto the hard floor
"And you blame me for being the reason why Tendou died? If only you just behave~ looks like Sugawara and Hinata is next."
"N-no...please Iwazumi. cmon, don't h-hurt them." I whimpered.
Iwazumi smirked "I don't know...you disobey me, ran away from me and locked yourself in this room. Should I really let this slide baby?"
I don't anybody getting hurt again.
It already enough my disobedience is the reason why Tendou isn't alive.
I got up from the floor and stand face to face with iwazumi, I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Cmon Iwa, dont do that...d-dont get your hands all bloody because of me. im sorry."
"Are you really?"
"Y-yes, im sorry for not listening"
"if your really sorry then..." Iwazumi pulled away from me and picked up the whip off the ground. "You could take your punishment...am I right or do we really want two of your closest friends to die tonight?"
"Punishment in anyway you want to Iwa...I-Im sorry for being bad. I love you"
"That's a good girl, I love you too Now...I want you on all fours, make no sounds"

Understand
Steve Harrington x gn! Reader
Summary: after an incident you seek understanding from your boyfriend something your parents couldn't do
Warning: toxic parents, cursing, my daddy issues, not proofread, hurt/comfort.
A/n: i haven't posted on here bc of writers block and bc this month has treated me like shit so, this is something that happened to me couple days ago sadly without the steve part but i did cry my eyes out (my Arab parents would never understand)
Tumblr media
~~
Sitting on a table with relatives and your family is normal, but you've always made it clear that you hated loud sounds and busy areas.
Your parents choose to ignore this problem. You've been sitting in the same spot for hours, now feeling overwhelmed and scared.
You didn't know what had gotten into you, but you didn't feel like yourself.
You grabbed your mom "Can we leave now please" you asked softly, she nodded turning back to the conversation she was having as if you said nothing.
It was getting too much, shaky hands and breathes, teary eyes you had no idea what was happening.
You got up to go to your dad, you shook him a few times, he didn't listen giving you a raised eyebrow and a mean stare.
"Dad can we please go" you said, no reply.
"Can we please go! Please i feel really overwhelmed!" You didn't mean for your voice to be this loud.
But you felt so out of place you didn't think before saying those words.
Your parents immediately excused themselves from the table, on your way to the car you tried your best to get your parents attention.
"Please i didn't mean it I don't know what came over me, i swear" you explained but no one replied to you.
Your mom knew better than to side with you because if she did, she'd be on your dads bad side.
How pathetic, the whole way to the house was silent but the tension was thick you could cut it with a knife.
Trying to hold back your tears in the back seat of the car, wondering why this even happened in the first place.
All you thought about was steve, and how much you wanted to curl your body into his and cry your eyes out.
Luck wasn't exactly on your side since your dad stopped you right when you wanted to go to your room.
"What the fuck happened back there huh?" He asked rage in his eyes and tone.
"I don't know please forgive me.. I didn't mean too i was just so mad-" .
"Mad? You have no reason to be mad, a young person like you shouldn't feel emotions, i am the one supposed to be mad here". He said interrupting you.
Before you can reply he continued, "This was so embarrassing, what will the family think now, i have a crazy child who seeks attention any time they get, I can't believe i have a child like you what a waste."
Crazy.
Waste.
Those words hit you like a brick. You stared down to the ground, tears falling from your weeping eyes.
You ran upstairs to the room immediately dialing Steves number.
Even though it was the middle of the night and he was most likely dead asleep you hoped he would reply.
You needed him at that moment, "Hello..?"his low voice, a sign that he was sleeping.
"Steve..I'm sorry for calling you at a time like this but can you please come and get me.." your voice in a whisper, although shaky.
That's all it took steve to hastily wear some clothes and drive his way to your house.
When you saw his car parked outside you ran your way to him.
He was waiting for you, leaning on the hood of the car. When he saw your puffy red face, worry climbed its way to his features.
You tightly hugged him, "i-im sorry for waking you up at such our but please i need you" you explained.
He nodded, the drive to his house was quiet but a relaxing calm quiet.
You felt as if a heavy weight was lifted away from you. Hand in hand you stared at the dark streets of Hawkins.
Once you arrived you stole a shirt from his and jumped onto his bed, his soft covers and intoxicating scent completely takes over your senses.
The bed dips beside you, as you feel his hands wrap around you, your head now laying on his chest.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He spoke softly. You shook your head as no not trusting your own voice.
He understood and hugged you closer, tightly holding you, a hand caressing your hair.
He knew it was something about your parents but he chose not to speak.
"It's ok my love we can talk about it tomorrow or whenever you want" he said pecking your forehead.
He understood you, something your parents couldn't do, you felt safe, he was home to you.
You nodded, before dozing off into your lover's arms hoping that tomorrow would bring you a better day.

Luxury to Fall in Love
Pairing: Netflix!Lambert x female!reader
Warnings: Blood, angst, major character death.
A/n: I haven't written anything in AGES and I'm nervous to post this but since @sweetdulcets got me back into writing and gave me so much support, I had to post it! English is not my first language so excuse any mistakes you find along the way.
Also Im aware that I changed stuff a bit - bruxa's are born, not made. But for this fic's sake, lets pretend they are!
 Word count: 4 725
                                                  *******************
"Cheers! To saving your ass two years ago. "
Y/N immediately lowers her glass.
"Lambert!"
"Well, it's true, lass." he grins and raises his glass even more, waiting for Y/N to raise hers as well.
Y/N slowly lifts her glass and clears her throat.
"To two-year friendship." she announces, giving him a soft smile.
"And may we have two more." Lambert adds and purses his mouth in a self-satisfied smirk. Small, red lock of hair fell at front of his face and he quickly moved it to a side.
"You're an asshole, you know that?" Y/N said, clinking her glass to his. "Can't even remember why I let you in my house in the first place." she said then took a small sip of Sansretour chardonnay, the wine that Lambert brought with him. He would always get something for her from his trips: parchment paper, seashells, forest fruits and herbs, sometimes even a gemstones or medicine – depending on success of his quest and time of the year. But he would never show up empty-handed. At first Y/N would try to give him some money (it wasn't much but Y/N offered anyway) but he would always refuse.
"Because I saved your ass from those nasty Foglers? You should be grateful, lass." he grinned and took a sip as well.
"That you did. And you know I am." Y/N admits, with more serious tone this time. He chuckled and lowered his glass on the blanket. The wind calmed down and the sun began to set. The Nimnar river in front of them flowed quietly, bringing calming and fresh air into their noses.
Y/N loved living in Gelibol. Owning her own place at the end of the village and selling herbs was good life. She earned enough to provide herself a peaceful life. She would spend a lot of time in forest, in fresh air and silence. Until the day when Foglers attacked her. It was a broad daylight; the forest was silent and Y/N was collecting some mushrooms when small group of Foglers came out of nowhere and started chasing Y/N. Lambert was passing by the main road when he heard the screams and cries for help.
Y/N paid him, gave up her own bed for him that night and made him the best dinner she could.
"Does every bypasser receive this treatment? Maybe I'll pass this road more often." he said that night at her cottage.
Something clicked between the two that evening – they stayed up late, sharing stories and making each other laugh. Lambert could swear he made her blush a couple of times. Y/N felt like she reconnected with an old friend although she never met this man in her life before that day. They said their goodbyes the next morning and Y/ N watched him leave, thinking how it wasn't fair of fate to bring him to her, just to take him away the next day.
But three months later there he was at her door again. She didn't hesitate but jumped towards him and hugged him as tightly as she could. Red Wolf was startled but wrapped his arms around her and whispered It's good to see you too.
So, their friendship grew stronger and stronger. She never knew when Lambert is going to come to Gelibol but she knew he would. And every time he came, her heart grew three sizes.
"Hello, miss? You there?" he waved his hand in front of her face. Y/N shook her head and looked at him.
"S-sorry I was just thinking about something." she admitted and took another sip of Sansretour. Lambert chuckled.
"I got that. What's bothering you, love?"
Y/N nervously twisted crescent moon necklace that was hanging around her neck. Lambert got it for her, for the first anniversary of their friendship and she was wearing it every day ever since.
"Nothing it's just... I was thinking of all these times you came to visit me." Y/N admitted but then lowered her eyes. She felt stupid now when those words left her mouth. She noticed that Lambert wasn't...well, interested. He cared about her. Y/N was sure of that. But it felt like he kept her at distance. She understood why – witchers couldn't allow themselves to settle down. He was a man of road, not of one village. And Y/N didn't judge him for it. But it didn't stop her from liking him.
"Yes, this village of yours has its charms, but I don't understand what's keeping you here, darling. It's small, you know everyone and everyone knows you. It's too-"
"Normal for you?" Y/N interrupted him. Lambert chuckled, looking at the distance. The sun was down and the moon replaced it, starting to show its craters a bit by bit.
"Well, yes. But honestly now, Y/N, what's keeping you here? You're a curious person. You like to explore, to discover. You could earn money everywhere by selling herbs."
"I-it's complicated." she started but stopped. It wasn't complicated. Y/N knew that she didn't have chance of surviving the wild, hungry Continent by herself. She wanted to explore the world, but fears were stronger than wishes.
"What is?"
"Lambert, I'm not a witcher. I can't fight. I'm not a sorceress either. I have no Chaos to rely on. Woman with no fighting skill can't survive on the road. Especially the one who's alone."
Lambert put down the glass, still looking at the distance. He was quiet for a few seconds and then turned to Y/N, to face her.
"And what if she's not alone?"
Y/N's lips parted. She didn't expect him to say that. She expected him to made fun of her, to mock her for being scared, to ask her why she's so pessimistic – but this? She didn't expect this.
"W-what do you mean?" she asked quietly.
"You could find someone. Why didn't you?" he asked. Y/N let out a quiet sigh.
"Because I'd rather be alone than with someone who's not right for me." she said, looking him straight into his yellow eyes. He looked away first.
"I guess you're right." he said and few seconds later stood up on his feet. "Come on, love. It's time to go inside. Or maybe you'd like to hang out with Foglers tonight?" he asked while holding out his hand for her. Y/N grabbed it and stood up on her feet.
"I already have monster by my side, I'm good." she joked. Lambert rolled his eyes, suddenly grabbed Y/N and tossed her over his shoulder. Y/N screamed but started laughing and holding her hands tightly around his upper body.
"You really talk too much for someone who lives alone in middle of nowhere, granny." he said, walking towards Y/N's cottage. She chuckled. Lambert opened the doors of her small cottage and headed towards Y/N's bed.
"And you're way too-"
Y/N didn't have time to finish. Lambert threw her down on her bed and Y/N screamed again.
"You're an asshole!"
"And you are a nasty screamer." he said, proudly smirking.
Morning came and Lambert was ready to start his journey. Kear Morhen was almost a whole day ride from Gelibol and he didn't want to waste a whole day horse-riding. Y/N helped him prepare and packed him more food than he actually needed but Lambert gave up on convincing her he won't need that much. He secured the last bag to his horse and slowly approached Y/N who was standing at the front door.
"So, this is it, love. All ready for the road." he said. Y/N smiled softly, but he saw the sadness in her eyes. It was always there when they said their goodbyes, Lambert recognised it.
"Safe travel, Red Wolf." she said, laying her hand on his chest to touch a wolf medallion. He lowered his eyes on her hands then slowly pulled her closer, cupping her face. He lowered his head and kissed her forehead.
"Be good, darling. And be careful." he said. Y/N only slightly nodded, with a gentle smile over her lips. Lambert let go of her, and headed to his horse.
He waved to her as he was speeding up the horse, not knowing this was the last time he will see Y/N.
Only a month later, Lambert came back to Gelibol. The whole village was surprisingly quiet but Lambert didn't mind it because although he was a frequent visitor some folks would still give him the dirty looks as he was passing by. He scolded himself for speeding up his horse as soon as he saw the road that led to Y/N's cottage but held that speed anyway until he reached the small house. It was dark and late, so when he didn't see lights inside, he didn't think much of it. Maybe she's already asleep. He dismounted his horse and approached the door. Then he abruptly stops.
The door. It was broken down. He instinctively grabbed the silver sword from his backs. He focused his hearing. Nothing.
"Y/N?" he called cautiously.
Silence.
Lambert knew she wasn't there. He couldn't hear her heartbeat. Or any heartbeat for that matter. But he stepped inside anyway.
His medallion gently trembled at the sight of magic in the air. Lambert tightened the grip of his sword. Cottage was a complete mess. Beds were pulled around and pushed up against the wall, herbs were everywhere, food was on the floor, rotten. Something horrible happened here.
He was about to turn over the piece of parchment paper when he heard it.
Wings. Large ones.
He turned around and ran outside without hesitation.
Then he saw her.
A bruxa.
Gray, broad-winged bruxa. Just a few meters away from him.
"Fuck." he muttered, lifting his sword up, ready to cast a Quen Sign.
But then something odd happened. Bruxa didn't attack. She looked at him for a couple of seconds, with her wide, white, hungry eyes and opened month full of sharp teeth and then, suddenly, she fully transforms into a bat form and flies away. Lambert still didn't lower his sword. Maybe that was bruxa's way of messing with him. She seemed hungry for blood for sure. He couldn't relax just yet.
Not when Y/N wasn't safe.
He kept his guard up, watching the dark sky every now and then but bruxa was gone. Why did she let me go that easily? Did she already get Y/N?
He rarely felt helpless. It wasn't a pleasant feeling and usually, he would fight it of quickly, but now, he couldn't. Not when Y/N was not next to him.
He collected himself and took a big breath. He couldn't smell any human smell. Just bruxa that just took off, some flowers near the river bank and herbs from Y/N's small garden.
This didn't happen today. The smell vanished weeks ago.
Lambert frowned and looked around. He didn't have a trace to follow. It could take days before he finds something to track her down. He cursed and turned to his horse and jumped up in the saddle.
He needed the help of his brothers.
Lambert looked like a mess. And felt like one too. He rode back to Kear Morhen, explained to other witchers what happened and managed to get some of them to join him. Now, he was back to Gelibol, in less than 24 hours. His horse was on the verge of collapsing. Lambert knew he wasn't supposed to do that. But he had no choice. He had to find her.
"Where do you want us to begin our search and rescue?" Eskel asked with arms crossed on his chests. He looked around, scamming the village in the distance.
"Lambert...where are the villagers?" Geralt asked quietly, looking at rooftops. Lambert looked at them as well. No smoke from the chimneys. Lambert frowned but stayed quiet.
"Did that damn bruxa massacred the whole village?" Eskel asked, nervously looking around.
"I don't know. Could be. Not many people leave their houses to greet me when I walk by." he said, not trying to show how badly he was hoping that those people were still alive and not bruxa's weekly meal.
"Boys!" the sound from behind the cottage called for them.
Eskel, Geralt and Lambert immediately turn around and follow the voice.  It was Vesemir. He was standing just a few meters away from the river. He turned around.
"Does this look familiar, boy?" he faced Lambert and lift his hand. The crescent moon necklace. Lambert cursed quietly.
"Yes. It's Y/N's."
Vesemir sighed and dropped the necklace in Lambert's hand. Lambert holds it, clenching it like his life depends on it.
"The smell is weak but we got something."
Few hours later they got to the dead end. The trace ended deep into the forest, just in front of the small cave. Cave was empty, cold and full of plumards so they left as soon as they finished their search, not wanting to test their luck with encountering powerful vampires.
"So, this was a waste of time." Eskel said, while they were returning to the village.
Lambert ran at him, pushing him against the nearest tree.
"You, shithead, how-"
Geralt and Vesemir grabbed him, pulling him away from shocked Eskel.
"Lambert, calm down. You're tired, worried and exhausted. He didn't mean anything bad." Geralt said, facing him and making sure he catches the look in his weary eyes.
"For fuck's sake, just leave me be. I'll find her myself." Lambert pulled away, but Geralt didn't give up just yet.
"Listen. We will find her. Vesemir, Eskel and me. You will rest now."
"Like fuck I am, Geralt. Move."
But neither him or Geralt had time to even make a step. The whole world spun before his eyes and then suddenly everything went black.
When he woke up, Lambert immediately knew what had happened. His own brothers used Sign on him. He rubbed his face and scanned the space around him. This can't be.
He stood up as quickly as his legs let him.
He was back at Kear Morhen. Why did they give up?
Lambert left the room and ran to the main hall. The hall was full of witchers who spoke and ate but as soon as the first one noticed him, the whole hall went dead silent.
"Where is she? Why am I here?" Lambert yells and his voice echoes through the hall. Vesemir stood up first.
"Come, boy."
Kear Morhen wasn't as big as it seemed at first. Lambert knew every room and every corridor but when Vesemir took him downstairs to dungeons, he couldn't help but wonder why are they there.
"Why are we here, Vesemir? Stop wasting my goddamn time! Why did you use Sign on me?" he asked nervously. Vesemir lifted one finger to silence him and continued quietly walking next to him . Lambert was beyond angry at this point.
He was just about to protest again when Vesemir stopped in front of the small cell at the end of the corridor. It was dark but Vesemir didn't bother with lighting any torches. Instead, he turned to Lambert, with mixed look of sadness and seriousness.
"She's here, Lambert. Whatever you do, do not open the cell. It's protected with magic, too."
"What-"
" I'll leave you two alone now. " Vesemir said and gently touched his shoulder before leaving. Lambert was stunned. What a hell is happening? Why am I not allowed in?
He waited until Vesemir left the corridor and then slowly approached the cell. He touched the cold metal of cell doors. His medallion trembles.
"Y/N?"
Nothing. Silence. But as soon as he looked at the farthest corner of the room, he saw something. Or someone.
Its darker than hell here.
Lambert used Igni Sign on the closest torch and the whole room brightens immediately.
And then he sees her. He gasps, moving a step away from the cell.
"This can't be happening." he shakes his head.
The same bruxa that attacked him was in front of him. Face turned, dressed in a simple white underdress. But now, seeing her in 'human' form he immediately knew.
It was Y/N.
He grabs the bars and shakes them violently.
"Y/N! No!" he shouts, his voice cracking. Her head slowly turns and finally she faces him.
"Lambert." she finally speaks, her voice slick and soft, but with no emotions in it.
"What happened to you?!" he yells, shaking the bars again. She didn't seem upset. She didn't seem like she feels anything at all.
"I thought you witchers would recognize a bruxa when seeing one." she said, not showing any emotions in her voice again. Lambert swallowed hard.
"Y-you can't be a bruxa. This doesn't happen-"
"But it did, Lambert. As you can see." she interrupted him and turned her face again towards the wall. Lambert's legs betrayed him. He fell down on his knees, holding onto the bars.
"This can't be happening. Not to you." he says quietly. Strange sound, similar to ironic laughter, leaves Y/N's lips.
Lambert looks at her. His heart drops when she looks directly at him.
"So, when are you going to kill me?" she asks him. The question is hanging in the air. Lambert feels like it's not meant for him. And like the question wasn't about the woman he adored with his whole heart.
He looks at her and slowly stands on his feet again. His lips part but nothing comes out.
And then he storms outside.
"How the fuck is this possible?!" he yells, opening the doors of the main hall. They hit the wall behind it and crack in one place.
Geralt, Eskel and Vesemir are the only ones looking at him. The rest of his brothers do not dare to look up.
"We...we don't know, Lambert." Vesemir starts.
"But she doesn't want to tell, either. She barely said a word after we caught her." Geralt adds.
Lambert leans against the table and punches it with his fists. Eskel slowly approaches him from the side.
"Lambert, she slaughtered the whole village. They were all dead, in their houses." he says quietly.
Lambert doesn't look at him. He knew Eskel wouldn't lie. But that just didn't seem like an actual truth. It couldn't be. Y/N helped her whole village. She was well known and loved there. She loved living there. She couldn't hurt any of them.
"Lambert-"
"I heard you!" he yells and then finally faces Eskel. Eskel gently touches his shoulder, forcing Lambert to look at him.
"You know what we must do now." he finally says. Lambert stands still and stops breathing.
"Is this why you captured her?! Just so I could kill her here!?" he yells, completely aware of his voice breaking.
"Lambert, she's a bruxa!" Vesemir raises his voice a little. The old witcher steps closer to Lambert and crosses his arms on chests.
"I KNOW!" he yells and rubs his face, pacing around. He takes a deep breath and turns to Vesemir again.
"I know." he repeats, this time quietly. "But I'm not letting you kill her. Not before we try other options. If this is some kind of a curse-"
"It's not a curse." the female voice from other side of the room interrupts him. Lambert turns around.
"Merigold." he says quietly. Young redheaded sorceress was leaning against the pillar, with her hands crossed on her chest.
"It's no curse, Lambert. She was bitten. I don't know how or why she survived that transformation, but she did. And she's not the person you once knew." Triss explains.
"She knows who I am." Lambert frowns.
"She does, but she doesn't care for you. She sees every single person in this room as a feeding source. Yourself included."
"I refuse to believe that." Lambert says, but not completely honest. He knew very well how bruxa's mind worked. If they let humans live, it was because they had use of them. If they didn't, that human would be long dead. Just like residents of Gelibol.
"You believe what you want." Vesemir adds. "But she is dangerous, Lambert. You know that. And she...she has to go."
Lambert looks away, not wanting to catch anyone's look.
"Give me a day." he asks quietly. Silence of the room was tiring. Vesemir spoke first.
"I can't. Triss' magic that's surrounding the cell will be gone by midnight. You have until then."
Lambert's heart drops but he nods after a couple of seconds of hesitation. He turns around and leaves the room, heading to the dungeons again.
"Back already? I thought you won't show up until tomorrow. Maybe with an extra silver sword too." Y/N says, her voice flat. She was facing the wall of her cell. Lambert sits down on the floor in front of the cell.
"You know I won't be the one to kill you." he tells her. Small smile escapes her pale lips but she's still not looking at him.
"Aren't you merciful." she says quietly.
Lambert slams his fits against the bars, partly standing up on his knees. "Look at me!" he yells. Bruxa slowly turns her head, her white eyes staring into Lambert's.
"I know you're not the person you used to be. But I refuse to believe you don't acknowledge how I cared for you or how close we were." he said his voice trembling of agitation.
"I do remember. But since I'm going to die, it does not matter." she shrugged her shoulders and finally gets up from the cold floor. Lambert's throat tightened when she approached the bars.
"It matters to me. I didn't want this for you." he answers, still looking at her vampiric white eyes.
Suddenly Y/N hisses at him, grabbing the bars. She immediately regrets it. Bars burn her hands and she shrieks in pain, letting go of it. Lambert looks away, knowing that magic was source of her pain. He couldn't do anything about it, even if he wanted to. Triss' magic was supposed to keep her in and he agreed on that.
"Fuck, Lambert. Suddenly, you're full of concern and love for me! You didn't care as much when I was just a pathetic human. You feel regret, not a sympathy for me. Because, if you did, we wouldn't be here right now!" she yells, showing her vampire teeth.
"You know that's not the truth-"
"Oh, spare me your pity speech, witcher!" she interrupts him, rolling her eyes. "If you cared, you would take me with you when we had that talk about leaving my village. You knew I'd come with you. I was in love with you, for fuck' sake." she yells, throwing her hands around in the air with annoyance. Lambert lips part but he stays quiet, frozen in place.
"Oh, did that come out of nowhere for you? Because it's not new for me, for sure. It's been months. Hell, it's been years."
Lambert knew he had to say something but this all felt too much for someone who's emotions were modified by elixirs.
"I-I think I knew that." he says quietly, aware how unsure he sounded. But the moment the words left his lips he knew they were truth.
"And you did nothing about it. So, what's the point of you being here now?" Y/N asks, leaning her backs against the wall. "To torture me? To ask me for forgiveness because now it's too late to discuss those things? I don't know what you want from me, Lambert." she says, her voice suddenly filled with tiredness. This was the first time she sounded like her old self. Lambert exhaled, looking down. He had to tell her the truth. She deserved it, no matter how late it was for it to matter.
"I just...I think you deserve to know the reason for my behaviour." he finally spoke. Y/N waited.
"You mattered to me, Y/N. The more I wanted you to matter to me. It's just...I thought if I kept my distance, you'd be safe. I couldn't give you the life you deserve. I had to do what I was made to do. And that's why I couldn't give you anything. "
"You gave me hope." she says, but aware it wasn't entirely his fault, but hers as well. "You came whenever you could. You visited me even when you didn't have a work to handle around. So, excuse me for feeling like I mattered. Or that you felt the same." Y/N adds.
"Witchers don't have the luxury to fall in love." he says quietly, trying to catch her look. And he finally did with those words.
"But?"
"I did."
"But too late." she says, tilting her head to a side a little. He looks away.
"Too late." he confirms. She looks at him for couple of seconds, like she's trying to read his mind.
"So, again, what do you want now, Lambert." Y/N asks quietly.
"I don't know." he admits after a few seconds of complete silence. Small smile escapes her lips. It was a sad smile, he knew that. Lambert realizes she finally let down her guard now. If it wasn't for her new vampiric appearance, he would think he was talking to old Y/N.
"I want you to forgive me." Lambert suddenly says. Y/N lifts her head a bit.
"For?"
"For being too late. To save you from the bruxa that did this to you. For not realising sooner that you deserve to be loved no matter how difficult it was for me to do it. For not showing how I felt before it was too late. I know it doesn't change anything, but I had to tell you."
Her eyes were just looking at him for a couple of seconds and then she lowers her look to the ground. "You're forgiven. witcher. Now, let me die. And never think of me again." she turns her back on him and walks to the darkest part of the cell, letting him know she doesn't plan on speaking to him again. This was it.
Lambert was outside, watching the snow on mountain tops surrounding Kear Morhen. The moon was full and bright. This was a first time he regretted being at home.
Suddenly a short scream comes from the inside of castle. Lambert runs inside, trying to figure out the direction of the noise.
The dungeons. He runs faster, feeling the heart dropping to his stomach.
He rushes into a corridor that led to Y/N's cell. There she was, laying down on the corridor floor, barely conscious. Vesemir was standing above her. His hand was holding silver sword, soaked in blood. Y/N's blood.
As soon as he realized Lambert was standing there, he withdrew.
"You shouldn't be here." Vesemir tells him. Lambert ignores him, slowly approaching to the half-dead being laying on the floor. She was dying, peacefully and calmly.
"Why is she so still?" he asks, without looking up at Vesemir.
"Triss gave her a sedative. She's completely calm and doesn't feel any pain."
Lambert crouches down next to her and grabs the cold hand that was laying down on her stomach. It was so cold.
"Thank you." he says, his throat tight. If she had to go, Lambert was glad it was this way. Vesemir gently squeezes his shoulder and starts walking towards the stairs.
"I'm so sorry, Y/N." Lambert whispers, tightening the grip on her hand. Y/N looks at him, briefly aware of his presence for a moment.
"Lambert." she barely whispers. Then, her eyes went completely still.
"I'll never forget you, love." he whispers and slowly leans over her, cupping her face with his shaky hand. His lips gently touch hers, and for a split of a second, she responds to his kiss. Her lips were ice cold, but Lambert doesn't flinch. It lasts for barely a second but his heart starts to beat faster.
Y/N's hand gently squeezes his for a second and then she's still again. This time for the last time.
She was gone.
Lambert closes his eyes, letting out a quiet sob.

Soft Male Presenting NB Satyr x Male Reader
Dakota
Warnings: Dakota get comforted by you after a sudden breakup and you end up confessing, they realized they like you too, mentions of alcohol (tho not explicitly stated other than beer), two faced boyfriend (now ex)
Masterlist
---------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Currently, you are on your way to third wheel for your best friend, Dakota. This guy that Dakota was dating was one that you really did not like. He was all sweet and kind around Dakota but the second they turned their back, he was a complete jerk. You knew you should tell Dakota but they just looked so happy being with this guy that you didn't want to ruin this momentary happiness.
Anyhow, both of you were walking down the street to a small yet busy pub that he had asked Dakota to meet. Dakota had asked him if you could come and he said yes but you knew he would have said no if that didn't ruin his "perfect boyfriend" image. You developed feelings for Dakota years ago, long into your friendship with him but you never confessed. You knew they didn't feel the same so you decided to just try to be the very best friend you could be.
Dakota pointed out the place you two were going and you followed them up to the front door. You opened it for them and they almost instantly spot their boyfriend, going over to him and hugging him. You smiled a sad smile and looked at the two before joining them at their table. He had sent Dakota off to get drinks for the three of you. "How have you been (R/n)?" He looks over to you with a not glare for once. "I'm breaking up with him."
Your eyes widened slightly. "What?" He nods. "Yeah I got hit pretty hard in the face with reality after the last time we met." His whole demeanor had changed from what it was before. You tried to say something but Dakota came back with a beer bottle and two glasses. They set one of the glasses down in front of you and handed the bottle to their soon to be ex who's demeanor went back to perfect boyfriend mode.
You smiled at Dakotas smile before taking a drink of what they got you. "Ah, (R/n)! Did you see the new episode yesterday? It was so good!" Dakota said before going on to ramble about bits and pieces. (R/n) smiled and nodded, chatting about said episode with Dakota.
A few minutes had past with the three of you talking before (R/n) decided it was time to bring the bad news. "Dakota." They looked up to (R/n) who looked like he just accidentally kicked a puppy. Dakota noticed and went to grab his hands to ask what's wrong but he pulled away. You looked away out of courtesy but still listened in. "I'm sorry Dakota. I dont think we can be together anymore. Its really me, not you. You've been nothing but good to me and I want you to be happy but it can't be with me."
"Maybe we'll see each other around. Don't worry about paying for drinks, I'll cover it on the way out." He said standing up to leave. Dakota couldn't seem to process what what happening as they watched their now ex-boyfriend walk away. "Kota, let's go." You said standing and grabbing their hand.
They didn't move but instead started to shake slightly. "Dakota, please." You pulled them up and practically dragged them out of the pub and stopped when you were a block away from it. Dakota hadn't said a word but held on tightly to your hand. "Do you wanna go back to your house?" You asked, looking to them. They nodded softly, more hair moving to cover their usually covered eyes.
You squeezed their hand gently as the two of you walked back to Dakotas place. It wasn't too far from the pub so neither of you saw the point in taking the car. After a few minutes of walking, Dakota stopped, making you look back. "Im... S-so sorry... I... I cant..." They tried to say something but ended up almost collapsing, legs shaking like crazy. You caught them before they could and opted to carry them the rest of the way.
Dakota holds onto you and cries into your neck. You gently rub the back of their head and whisper reassuring words into their ears. After a few more minutes of walking, you make it to the house and carefully unlock the door and close it behind you before taking them upstairs to their bedroom. "I'll go grab some water. I'll be right back ok?"
You head back down stairs, lost in thought as you grabbed water from the fridge before heading back up. You didn't expect to see what you did though.
Your body stood ridgid with shock. Standing in front of you, staring back with wild and afraid eyes was your best friend of 5 years. They looked like they were wearing pants but they weren't. Their legs were covered in dark brown fur, same colour as their hair. Your eyes followed the soft digitigrade shape down to the cloven hooves in place of feet. A small tail to match laid tight against their body.
"Dakota..?"
You breathed out hesitantly. They seemed to snap out of whatever trance they were in for a moment and they started to shake. "Hey... Hey whats wrong?" You asked as you very slowly approached them, as if the wrong step could send them sprinting away. They didn't say a word and you eventually got to their side. You very carefully grabbed their hand but they pulled it away faster than you could blink.
They looked at you with such fear that you could barely even tell if it was your sweet Dakota anymore. A tense moment passed as you had seen his eyes for the first time. You gently took their hand again and pressed their palm against your chest. They could feel your heart pounding, theirs was probably just as fast. You and Dakota had this thing where if one of you were panicking, the other would place a hand on the heart of the one whos panicking. It usually ended with a hug but it was really just a comfort thing that Dakota had started with you when they had a panic attack in public. Once they had seemed to realized, some lever must have flipped as they pulled you into a tight hug.
"(Y/n)..."
You hugged them back, gently placing a hand on the back of their head to keep them close. A silent minute had past before you felt your shoulder getting wet again. "I'm so sorry." It was barely a whisper but you heard it. Neither of you said a word after that. Dakota pulled their head out from the crook of your neck and rested their forehead against your chest.
"I didn't want you to find out like this..." Their voice was small as they spoke, hands gripping tightly to the back of your shirt. You carefully set a hand on their cheek, coaxing them to look up to you. Their eyes were red and slightly puffy from crying. The bright green, almost yellow irises stood out against their pink-ish scleras. "Your eyes are so beautiful." You mumbled out without thinking.
Dakota blushed and looked away. "I know you probably don't wanna talk so let's sit down and I'll go first." You lead them over to the bed and both of you sat down. "Judging by your reaction you didn't want me knowing about the whole... Lower half thing." You paused to look at Dakota who nodded. "Sorry." You said, still processing everything. Dakota shook their head. "N-no... I..."
"I don't know what to say..." Dakota said with a heavy sigh. "It's ok. You don't have to say anything-" They cut you off before you could continue. "(Y/n) I've lied to you for 5 years about it! Of course I have to say something!" You looked away from them and sighed. "I would be lying if I said it didn't upset me that you never told me what you were." Without hesitation, you grabbed Dakotas hand again, staring at it as they let you intertwine your fingers. "But I always had a feeling you weren't exactly human anyways... Of course I wanted to know but I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable around me."
Dakota looked to your eyes, tears welling up in theirs again. You could see that they wanted to apologize for not saying anything but you just shook your head. "Kota, I could care less that your a Satyr. If anything I like you even more." You mumbled the last part but they still heard it anyway, signaled by the blush that rose to their cheeks yet again. Dakota placed their free hand on your cheek and made you look back to them.
"I love you so fucking much Kota. You don't even know. I'm sorry. This is probably a lot on top of me finding out about probably your biggest secret and the... Y'know." Dakota shook their head. "Its all been so overwhelming. I'm honestly surprised I haven't passed out yet." You let a small huff of a laugh pass as they pulled your face closer to theirs. "You seemed to have calmed down a lot." You mumbled out.
Dakota nodded. "Yeah. I guess I'm... Relieved... I've known you long enough that I know you when you aren't feigning truths." They pause for a moment. You took this moment to observe their tear stained face. "(Y/n). I dont ever want you to leave me." Their voice had been shaky since you found out about them being a Satyr but it was even worse when they said that. "I couldn't truly live if you weren't in my life Kota."
They looked at you with wide eyes. "Sorry, said something weird didnt-" You were cut off by a pair of soft lips against yours. You carefully kissed back, tangling your hand in their soft, fuffy hair. The second both of you pulled away, Dakota smiled and pulled you into a tight hug. "Kota-" "I think him breaking up with me was the best decision ever." You furrowed your brows, really confused.
"What? Why? I though you two were happy together." Dakota nodded. "I was happy. But I also saw how unhappy you were. A-and it made me realize... Just how much I wanted to make you happy because you make me happy." You couldn't say anything but just looked at them with surprise. "Can I... Can I kiss you?" You asked quietly. Dakota laughed and nodded, pulling you into a kiss.
Your hands decided to test the waters a bit and you gently ran a hand through the soft fur that coat their leg. They shivered and gripped onto your shirt, leaning into the kiss more. You pulled away and let your hand linger on their thigh. "Did... Did you really mean it when you said that you liked me more knowing I was a Satyr?" You blushed and laughed awkwardly while looking away. "Yeah... I didn't realize I said that out loud."
Dakota let out a gentle laugh and pulled you into a tight hug. "Let's take a nap, I'm tired after crying so much..." You nodded and kissed their neck softly as the two of you laid down.
"Please stay by my side."
I originally started this one shot at the paragraph that starts at "Your body stood ridgid with shock." so sorry if everything above it seemed weird-

Im feeling Angsty tonight so I'mma drag you with me :D
TW: Abusive Ex, argument, gaslighting (?), angst shit, don't worry fluff(?) at the end ;) (Every relationship has to go through the pain of argument, it's a common thing and for me it's somewhat a sign that you two really love and care each other)
Imagine having an argument with Nanami, it started small but it became heated to the point where he accidentally yells at you and threw a glass at the floor shattering into pieces.
You let out a yelp and flinches while you cover your head with your arms as your tears are threatening to flow like a river. You we're slowly getting used to the warm feeling of having a significant other not the feeling of pain and guilt like your ex put you through, Nanami knew about your past, you opened up to him when you were starting to feel more comfortable with your relationship with him.
He came home stress, stressful than the other day, you wished you had discussed this in another time but you can't help it.
The realization hit him like a truck when he heard a faint 'Im sorry, I'll do anything just please don't hurt me again' leave your lips. He didn't mean to scare you, he didn't mean to bring those memories back, he was overall stressed with the curses that suddenly appeared, paperwork's and Gojo's stupid antics that he let out his frustration to you.
"Y/N..." He's voice came out soft, almost a whisper telling you to look, you couldn't as tears started to fall down your cheeks. He hated seeing you cry, especially if it was his fault. Guilt was so overwhelming it hurts his chest.
"I-im sorry Kento... It's my fault..." turning around not facing him as you choked on your words trying to sound like your laughing it off, but you knew better, no matter how hard you try to hide the pain, he will always see through your eyes.
"I-I shouldn't have talked to you about this right now, I knew you we're stressed out but somehow I d-did. It's not your fault-" you jolted feeling a pair of arms wrapping your body making you stop your sentence.
"I'm sorry Y/N, I shouldn't have yelled at you, I shouldn't have threw the glass, I shouldn't have taken out my frustration on you. I know a simple apology won't fix the fact I brought those memories back but I'll do anything just so you can forgive me"
You couldn't help but let out a small quiet sob as he let you turn around to hug you properly, minutes later you pulled away calming down the storm inside you.
"Want me to ready the bath for you?"
"will you join me?"
"are you sure?" He was hesitant to but seeing you nod makes him feel a lot less awkward.
The bath was quiet, but there was something comfortable with the silence. Maybe the fact that you just cried letting your emotions flow, or you felt comfortable and safe with Kento. You two didn't have to say anything, you two knew that you want to do. He knows you too well it's somewhat scary. Will he take advantage of it? Will he use it against me?
Those words always floats around your head making you feel so anxious but you knew Kento too. You knew he would never take advantage of you, you knew he would never hurt you because he would rather face the world than hurt you.
After the bath session, you both lay down to bed, both facing the wall. You couldn't help but want to have a glimpse of your boyfriend Beside you only to see his face facing you staring deep down to your e/c eyes.
"I'm sorry" you apologized.
"I should be saying that, not you" he protested as you shook your head. You reached out your hand making your way to his hair. He always love when you run through your fingers to his hair, it relaxes him as soon as you touch his hair, it also helps him fall asleep.
You can't help but kiss his forehead, it's a small thing but to him it's a big thing, "We can fix things, right?" You asked while Nanami gave you a genuine smile as he place his hand over your cheek.
"Of course love"
You nuzzle to his chest making you hear his heartbeat beating.
"Kento"
"hmm?"
"I love you"
"I love you more dear"
And so, everyday he never fails to give you different types of flowers, it was his way of saying sorry, you knew giving you a gift was his love language so you accepted it. Some of your favorite flower he bought, you kept it forever by drying and labeling them as you put it somewhere safe.
He found your dried flowers by accident when he was looking for something in the drawers. He couldn't help but smile at the thought of you keeping the flowers he brought.
HOLY SHIT IM BRAIN STORMING TODAY WOOOO!!! omg my heart broke when I wrote this but it makes me Happy if someone cried XDDD I'm actually going to start a jjk blog soon but idk how you do the "keep reading" thing you see when you read some post. I'm like starting to make the rules and shit.

I haven't been caught up with your stuff for a while, but about a year, maybe 2 years ago I got really invested in your Campfire au (sorry if that's not the right name for it I know it's not an au anymore). anyway, your character Vee really caught my eye, and your story got me to go out to my local woods for a walk, cuz that's something at vee likes to do. and I found myself always itching to go back after that. I kept going on walks. even in the winter, and I hate the cold, and bugs, and I wasn't very in shape so it was hard at first. but nothing came close to making me feel calm and safe in my own head as going out into the woods and getting my hands covered in dirt. I listened to those character playlists you made for them, and it got me into music. I never really understood listening to music before, but idk... the way the songs formed together to draw a picture of a person. It really caught my attention. and now I make playlists all the time. and now those are the two things I do. to feel calm and safe in my own head. I go for a walk and I listen to music. and yeah those are two simple things, someone had probablyve suggested them to me before. But idk. connecting it with a character spurred me to actually go out and do it. It's been a really rough year or so since I discovered those though. I don't wanna trauma dump and stuff in your asks cuz this is just me telling you your work really touched me. but let's just say I stopped going on walks. I moved away from that forest I always went to. i stopped seeing old friends. and for a long time I forgot how much the smell of wood and hand drawn stories brought me back down to earth. a bunch of things happened and I ended up moving back near that forest. It still took me a long time to go back to it though. Today I read a story, about different characters, it touched me the same way yours did, with relationships that felt real. It reminded me about walking through the woods and friends I could trust with anything and being grounded and content. So today I went back out to the woods for the first time in a long time. I listened to songs that i heard for the first time in those playlists you made about your characters. It was just as calming as I remembered. It made me feel safe and comfortable with myself. I hope this doesn't weird you out or is too parasocially. but I just felt that you should know this. I truly treasure the gift of inspiration your art has given me. I know in the end it's me who takes me out to the woods when I'm stressed, but I dont know if I ever would have gone out there if it weren't for your charming characters. I think i will continue to go out to these woods, dig my hands in the dirt, collect the rocks i find, listen to music, engage with art, and read stories. Thank you again. I wish you the best.

I never thought I would make it.
“Congratulations cadets, you are officially deemed a soldier, welcome to the scouting regiment,”
It’s hard to believe im even still alive.
You stood in the crowd of your now newly named comrades, your fist over your heart as it pounded in and out of your chest. Realization overcoming you as you looked around the crowd. “Seven..no eight..” You mumbled, counting the peoples heads. One in particular stuck out to you. “Oh, the quiet girl who’s always with Eren?” You questioned yourself, as an answer popped into your head about her cause of joining, “Probably for him..”
It had been days since your promotion from cadet to soldier.
The people all around the lunch room talking and chatted as you sat at the table with Eren, Armin and Mikasa. Jean sat next to you with Sasha and Connie across the table, right beside Mikasa. “That wasn’t fair! The captain doesn’t understand how hard i’m trying to master my titan ability!” The emerald eyed teen whined, hiding his face in her elbow in stress. “I’d say not to worry about it Eren,” Mikasa suggested in response as she sipped her soup.
“Yeah, Mikasa’s right!” Artlert exclaimed, “There's no way he’ll punish you for that incident earlier, it was after all an accident!” He shrugged, reassuring Eren.
“I just hope he doesn’t tell section commander Hange to help me with it.. They’re nuts,”
“Keep in mind you don’t need to master it, just gain control,” You blattered out, overhearing their conversation. The black haired girl with the red scarf looked towards you, her eyes narrowed in a stren confusion. “A-ah..er.. Sorry I didn’t mean to intrude in your conversation..” You blushed as she looked at you, your eyes quickly moving away, hiding the rose that came upon your face. “Your fine,” She said, looking away from you. “That’s okay y/n! Thanks for the advi-”
“THATS IT!” Eren suddenly yelled, pounding the table with his fist. “You’re right y/n! I just need to have control!” The brown haired boy realized with a smile on his face. “Thanks!”
“O-oh uhm no problem!” You said in his response.
The girl still had her eyes on you, almost as if she was watching you closely, observing you. Even during training, Mikasa’s eyes always fell right onto you. It was as if she was watching a child.
“AGH! ANNIE OKAY!” You yelled in hailt for your fighting trainer to stop. The dirt flew in your eyes as you crashed to the ground, your body in a sharp pain. You tried clearing the dirt in your eyes as you were kicked in the side. “AH! I SAID STOP GODDAMNIT!” You backed up, wiping your eyes. “That hurt like a bitch..” You grumbed, the side of your stomach in pain. “Its not my fault your skills in hand-to-hand combat are awful,” The blonde said, staring at you below her. “You think you could go a bit slower next time?! This is training where we help each other improve, not kick each other's asses!”
“Hey,” A familiar voice called out, steps getting closer. “That was uncalled for, Leonhart,”
“Hm?” The blonde looked behind you, The voice coming closer, “And so what if it wasn’t?” Annie said, her arms crossed at her chest. You felt an intensity gain in the atmosphere. The air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Mikasa, still glaring Annie down, crouched at you side, “Are you alright Y/n?” The females voice questioned. You wiped your eyes with your shirt, water coming out as well as the sand that had been in your eyes. “Here,” Mikasa handed a tissue to you as you wiped with that instead. She stood up, glaring the blonde down, predator on pray. “You need to be more gente, keep in mind what would happen if you got caught by Captian hurting someone,”
Annie scoffed and brushed the hair out of her face, “Yeah, you’re right, but this is training, I can be as hard as I want on Y/n, after all, we’re soldiers remember?”
“Yeah, I remember, and you sure as hell don’t look like one,” Mikasa replied, leaving the blonde’s face more aggravated. A crowd suddenly formed behind them, “Oh shit are they about to fight?” Connie said, looking at the both of them and how their eyes locked sternly onto each other “No way! I’ve gotta see!” Sasha looked up from her plastic knife. Woah..wait.. Your mind wondered, are they seriously about to do this? Right now? Here? Mikasa’s the most calm and collected person I know.. And here she is, about to fight Annie.
“If you’re looking for a fight all because Y/n here is too weak, then bring it,” Leonhart smirked, holding out her hands in a steady punching position. “I’m always ready for anything,”
And with that Mikasa walked over to Annie, looking down at the girl. “Go ahead, hit me and see what happens,”
“Oh god…” Eren mumbled to himself, “why right now..”
“Mikasa! I don’t think this is a good idea!” Armin shouted at her.
“No, it’s a great one,” Mikasa looked over her shoulder at him, his face cautious, “Let’s see what you’ve got, Annie,”
You were frozen in position, too much in shock to get up. Why is she fighting over me? I mean nothing to her? Don’t I..?
“Try me, you bitch,”
“Brats break it up!” The captain yelled from across the yard, heading over to Mikasa and Annie. Levi pushed them apart from each other, scolding them, “Your lucky I don’t have much trouble with the both of you then I have with Kirsten and Jaeger,” His face in annoyance as he spoke. “Back to training you idiots, and I better not see it again,”
It seemed as though the days of being a newly graduated soldier were over as you soared through the sky. Enemies surrounded all around you as you drew your blade slicing the Jaw titan. Mikasa at your side as she helped take him down. Eren had became a monster, sneaking off to a forgien country and killing thousands of innocent civilians. It was all so new to the survey corps, and taking lives was something you didn't necessarily have a liking for.
All the screaming and yelling as the battle continued. You sprung your ODM gear onto the top of a building with terrified residents inside, their screams coming from the open window. You looked down as ash filled the air along with smoke. All around you laid bodies of people who no longer existed, their deceased corpses laid under rubble, some torn in half, some crushed. Wetness fell down your face like rain as you realized the situation before you.
“Y/N! KEEP MOVING!” Your girlfriend said as her black hair moved in the wind, her hand slightly touching your shoulder as she moved swiftly past you, her blades drawn and swinging at the Warhammer titan. Wiping your tears as you got a move on, avoiding the chaos to get a better look.
“But,” You studdered out, “what about the childre-”
A corpse of a little boy, no older than 8 laid beneath you, his head crushed open, a arm band on his shoul. “Why…”
“TONIGHT WE HONOR OUR SEVEN FALLEN COMRADES BY CELEBRATING ANOTHER STEP CLOSER TO ELDIAS VICTORY!” The soldiers all roared as Foster cheered them on.
“Is that everyone?” Jean called out after helping you on the aircraft, his hand in your pulling you up. “I think so!” You called back to him from above. Connie yanked you in the airship, fully getting inside as you rolled on the floor. “Geez con, mind being a bit more careful? Since where’d you get all that strength from?” Groaning out, you complained.
“Too much strength for a bald man anyways,” Sasha Joked around as Connie punched her in the arm, letting out a laugh. “Thanks you guys,” You softly smiled, “I really needed that,”
“Mission been hard for ya?” The bearded man questioned. “Yeah, really hard,”
“We wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for that bozo looking guy in the back with Captain, Armin and Mikasa,” The brunette female said in annoyance, rolling her eyes as she fixed her gear, adjusting it. “I know right,” Jean commented, “We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him,”
“I’m just glad I still have you two,” The guy with barely any hair said, hugging Jean and Sasha. “You guys are important to me,”
He glanced up at you who was removing your heavy gear from your side, “And you too y/n,”
“Well thank you for making me feel included,” You joked around. Standing up as you lower the bottom of your shirt, “Welp, Imma go see where Eren is and try and get some sympathy for the innocent lives he killed out of him,”
“I doubt the suicidal maniac will have any to spare,” Jean rolled his eyes as a you smiled at his stupid remark. “Hopefully over dinner we can all talk and catch up while they're interrogating Eren ,”
“I Hope we’re having meat tonight!” The snack loving girl exclaimed, a glare of joy and hope in her eyes. “Me too we haven't had any in ages,” You crossed your arms. Jean gave you a soft smile before saying, “Later Y/n,”
“Alrighty,” You said, closing the door behind you as you stepped into the room where he was being held. Your girlfriend, Mikasa gave you a glance and a smile, love in her eyes as you responded by doing the same. Clearing your throat before looking away as the blush rose upon your faec you placed your eyes on Eren.
You stood next to Mikasa and Armin looking at the boy who you knew, but it was apparent to all of you that you no longer did. “I see the whole gang is here,” Zeke said, trying to kid around with his brother. “Shut up,” Captain spoke at the blonde with glasses, his legs steaming as well as Eren’s. Both of their hands were tied behind their back, Eren looked numbly to the floor, no expression to appear besides coldness. “You did put on a show Levi cutting off my limbs like that,”
“I’m glad I still, a shitbag like you doesn't deserve them,”
Levi glared down at the man, anger in his tone as he harshly spoke to him. “Eren,” You stated his name as Jaeger looked up at you, “Why did you decide to do this?” The brunette looked to the side, his once glowing emerald eyes now stone cold. “...” No words came out of his mouth, his expression not changing either. “Did you do this in a rage like you always do?”
So many unanswered questions roamed your head, dying for an answer. “We haven't seen you in months!” You shouted, getting angry with him. “And then you send us letters, demanding us to help you with this-!”
“I never begged you to do this y/n,” Eren finally spoke, his head still hanging low. “You basically did! You knew we would come, and you knew Mikasa would as well, and the rest of us!” Your lips spat at him in ignorance and frustration.
“You did all this for what use? What was the outcome of this besides getting Zeke!?”
Yet again no words. You sighed as you mumbled an “by the walls,” In frustration. “God this is no use is it?” your fingers pinching the bridge of your nose.
“Is this all a part of your revenge on the Marleyans?! On Annie Bertoldt and Reiner?!”
“Yes it is,” His hair hung in his face, messy and greasy locks tangled together. He looked like he was in terrible condition, malnourished and unhygienic.
“...wow, I can’t believe you.. Innocent kids over people who wronged you, Is death all you talk about?”
He nodded his head, glaring into your eyes as you paused, then looked at your feet. Mikasa grabbed your hand, holding it. “Thats enough y/n, he isn’t going to cooperate anyways,” She said in a calm manner, trying to avoid any argumenments.
“I doubt any-”
The sound of the heavy metal door coming open stopped you dead in your sentence, Jean came into the room along with 2 kids you had never seen before. His hand on their shoulders as the kids arms were tied together with rope.
“Jean?” Mikasa said, looking at him with a confused expression on her face. “Who are these brats?” The captain asked, annoyance in his voice.
“These kid’s snuck on board using Lobvo’s gear,” He explained.
“And this one,” Jean pointed to the brown haired girl, “Shot Sasha,”
A flame of shock came over you all as you looked at each other, Armin and Mikasa rushed out the room, tears building up in their eyes. You followed along with them as you whipped open the door.
“SASHA!” Mikasa said, running over to the injured woman and crouching to the ground. Armin went next to her side, Shaking her barely conscious body. “Are we...eating yet…..?” She whispered, a croak in her voice.
“SASHA PLEASE STAY WITH US!” Armin yelled, cupping her cheek and sobbing. All you could do was stand there, shock upon your face and your mouth agape.
“Why are you guys…..being...so...loud..”
Tears and sniffles along with screams of plea flooded the room, just as how it was outside. You put your hand over your mouth, slowly backing away as you cried to yourself. Backing against the wall and tears streaming down your face as you curled yourself into a ball.
“When will this ever end?”

Doing this over the phone probably isn't the best thing to do, so you hail a taxi and tell them where to take you.
Once they dropped you off, you just stood at the foot of the stairs leading to her door. You left unexpectedly and haven't called her since.
You were pacing and pacing; you stopped in your tracks when you heard her voice.
“Y/N?”
You turn and face her, you smile at her, but behind it is worry, “Layla. How you doin’ sis?”
You stared at each other, which felt like an eternity, and then she hurriedly went down the steps and hugged you tight against her.
It was all familiar. It was home.
She let you go and put her hands on the side of your face, almost examining you, and then her sweet demeanor changed, and anger spread across it.
“Madha bihaqi aljahimi! 'Ayn kinti? Laqad dhahabt limudat eam wahda! Lam tukalif nafsak eana' alaitisal bi? 'Ana aietaqadt 'anak myt!” Layla yelled at you in Arabic.
‘What the hell! Where have you been? You've been gone for one year! You didn't even bother to call me? I thought you were dead!’
“Good to see you too, sis.”
She gives you a deadly stare.
“Okay, I'm sorry, I really am. I just didn't know what to do. With everything that happened, I just I-”
“What exactly happened, Y/N? After I heard what happened, I thought you were dead,” she started to get teary.
“Layla, I don't know what happened. I really don't. I think I blocked it out. I don't know what's wrong with me. Im sorry- im-,” you started to hyperventilate.
She held you tightly again. You felt yourself calming down.
“Hey, hey,” she cooed, “it's alright, you're home now. Why don't we go inside, and I'll make some tea.”
You sat on the couch, and she went into the kitchen. You look at the living room corner and see Bastet standing there.
She was staring at you.
“We have to get going. I let you see her; now we must go.”
“This is the first time I've seen her in a year. You wouldn't let me contact her. I think I deserve a day with my sister.”
She gave you a look that was full of disappointment. Even though her face was just a cat's mask, you knew the underlying expression on her face.
You broke your stare with the goddess when your sister walked in with a cup.
“Hope your tea preference did change while away,” she says, handing you the cup.
You thank her with a smile and take a sip.
“So, where have you been for a year?”
“New York.”
“Wow, how was that? See all the sights?”
“Not exactly,” you sighed.
There was another silence.
“So now that you're home, do you have a plan?” Layla asked.
“Um, well, I have a meeting with the museum director. She said I was always welcome back if I wanted a job.”
“That's good. What about housing?”
You give her a sweet look.
Annoyed, she sighed, “I guess you can stay with me.”
You exclaimed with happiness.
“But not forever. You need to get your place.”
You nod and finish your tea.
You put your cup in the sink, and she was getting her stuff together, “Listen, I have to go do something here. Here is a spare key; let me know when you get to your meeting, okay?”
You nod and take her key, and she leaves. You were alone, kind of. Bastet made herself known, “Y/N, we must go.”
You go upstairs to the room where you were staying and begin to look at the photos in the room. Lots were of your parents and you and Layla.
You grab your bag and lock up the door. You put some headphones on to drown Bast out, but it never worked. It would just muffle her.
“Y/N, you're going the wrong way! We need to be going the other way!” Bast growled.
“I'm going to the museum. I'm not listening to you!”
She tried to force herself to front, and your eyes were rolling back, but you fought against her and stopped in your tracks staring at her dead in her soulless eyes.
“I'm not your puppet! Leave me alone!” you turned the volume up on your headphones and continued on your path to the museum.
You finally got there, and it was like a wave of nostalgia came over you. You spent your entire life in museums. You were staring at the giant statue of Isis when a man came up beside you; both of you were admiring the stature.
The man was mumbling something; you looked over at him and took your headphones out.
“Sorry, what?” you asked.
“Oh, I was just saying how beautiful she was.”
“Oh yeah,” you smiled; you examined his face. It was familiar, but you brushed past it, “I wonder what she's like.”
“Probably very knowledgeable and kind,” he inputs.
You nodded and noticed he was wearing a name tag indicating he worked here.
“Steven?”
He looked at you, confused, “How did you-?”
You tapped on your chest, and he forgot he had his badge on.
You giggled at him; he was cute, “I wondered if you could point me to Donna Kraft's office. I have a meeting with her.”
“Oh yeah, sure, of course. If you didn't mind my asking, what are you meeting her for?”
“Oh, it's for a job as a curator.”
“Really?”
“Yup,” you say with a smile, and both walk to her office.
The two of you stop at her door just looking at each other, and then the moment is interrupted by Donna opening her door.
“Stevie. Stop bothering Miss L/N. Now go back to your job at the gift show,” she said sternly but gave you a friendly smile.
“It's Steven, actually,” he mumbled and walked away.
You felt bad that he was speaking it that way, “Thank you for walking me, Steven.”
A smile crept back upon his face.
You sat in her office and talked about regular interview things, and by the end of it, Donna hired you.
You walked out of the office and then went to the gift shop.
“Hello,” you said happily.
His head rose, and a slight pinkness to his cheeks said, “H-hello! How was the interview?”
“Perfect! I got the job. So be ready to see more of me,” you chuckled, looking at the cute stuffed animals of the goddess Taweret and putting them on the table for him to ring up.
He smiled and scanned the animal.
“So now that you work here, you get the 10% employee discount.”
“Thank you. So, do you work tomorrow morning?” you ask.
He was caught off guard by the question, “Uh, yeah, why?”
“Well, I’m starting tomorrow and wanted to know your coffee order. Or is it tea? You look more like a tea kind of guy.”
He gave a dry chuckle, “Oh um, I like tea, mostly green tea, but any tea will do.”
“Perfect. I will see you tomorrow morning with green tea,” you say, smiling and walking away.
“W-wait! I didn't get your name,” he called after you.
“Y/N!” You called back.

Andrea × Preg!Reader

Warnings - 18+(NO MINOR READERS PLEASE), fingering, pregnant kink, a bit of a mommy kink, handjob, fluff, and it's not proof read so sorry for any typos!
Readers note - this is my first fanfic so please bare with me 😅
It's been about a month since Andrea has helped you out. At first he would mainly just clean and head home. Then he began to practice or just play his violin for you. The more he visited the closer you got to him. Yes, you were a tad older than him. However, you couldn't let go of these wants for him. Still, you put them aside and continued to only be friendly towards the young man. Until he came over today, it was as though God had a special plan for you two this evening. Something you definitely weren't expecting.
As usual, you heard a knock on the front door. His knocks normally came in a silly little pattern. It always brought a smile to your face. Slowly, you gathered some energy to get up. Holding your big swollen tummy as you made your way to the door. Not even bothering to look through the peephole. You opened the door up and greeted Andrea.
"Good evening, Andrea. Come in, it looks like it will storm soon."
"G-Good evening, y/n."
He shared a warm inviting smile with you. As he made his way inside. Shutting the door for you and locking it. His eyes glide down to your belly. His smile grew as he met your gaze again. "You're getting so big." Andrea chuckled. You roll your eyes playfully. Giving him a gentle slap on the arm. Turning away from him as you waddle to the kitchen. "Gentlemen aren't suppose to comment on a woman's figure." You smile to yourself. As you grab two glasses from the upper cabinets. Pouring you both a glass of water. Your brows crease as it aches to stand for too long.
Andrea rubs his arm and let's out a soft laugh at your critique on his manners. He was about to make a snarky remark. Until he notices the pained look on your face. Quickly, he heads over to your side next to the counter. "You should sit down. Remember.. I'm here to help you. You need to rest." He said with a frown on his face. While you simply shake your head in response. "No.. I got this. The least I can do for you is get you a drink. Andrea, you do so much for me. I haven't done anything for you. Not even once, I feel bad."
Andrea stood there silently for a few moments. About to walk away he gathers an idea. Stepping behind you, his hands are planted on your hips. Causing you to jump lightly. Before you can protest whatever he was about to do. Andrea softly shushes you, while his hands snake around your waist. Your loose dress bunch under your belly. As his hands settle on that section of your body. Soon he lifts your baby bump, relieving all that pressure and weight from you. A deep sigh escapes you as your cheeks lightly heat up.
"There you go.. I hope this can help." Andrea says softly against your ear. His chin nearly resting on your shoulder.
"Oh yes.. Wow, it feels incredible. Thank you, thank you so much Andrea." You moan lightly. Unable to help, but lean against him. Your hands end up on top of his. As you close your eyes for a moment. Suddenly you feel his lip grace the side of your neck. Causing you to tense up and open your eyes. Pulling a bit from him, but not escaping his hold on you. Looking over your shoulder at him. Before you could question him he captures your lips with his. Pressing nice and tender kisses against your lips. Your eyes flutter shut as you couldn't help but kiss back. Geez, it felt crazy how he hand you wrapped around his finger.
"Andrea.. We shouldn't. This would never work." You utter between kisses.
"Mm.. Shh. Don't say such things. I know how you've been looking at me. To be honest, I've been looking at you the same way."
"R-Really?"
"Mhm.. And I know...Mamuśka potrzebuje masażu."
"Heh, w-what did you just say?"
"Mommy needs a massage." He smirked.
Your eyes widen at his translation. Gently, you fully pull away from his grasp. Turning your body to face him. As you step back a bit. "Andrea, I'm too old for you love. Please..you're making this more difficult." You say in a shy manner. As he moves closer to you. Backing you up into the corner of the room. Your back pressed against the angle of the walls. Your eyes stay focused on one another. As silence fill the space between you. "It's only a four year difference. C'mon mami.. Let me be the man you need. Because you're the woman I need.. I want." He leaned in and kissed your forehead.
A deep sigh leaves your lips, "okay.. But just this once."
"Fine, but I promise you'll want more of me." He chuckled.
Andrea reached down, lifting her dress a bit. Caressing your belly carefully as he kept eye contact with you. One of his hands slowly slid down. Feeling the warmth of your nether region. His cheeks grew rosey, biting his bottom lip. "Didn't know you weren't wearing underwear." He smirked. Causing you to shiver from a heated manner. "I couldn't put any on.. It's too hard to do now." You admit. Reaching up, you cup his face and smile. Spreading your legs a bit for him. Making Andrea more excited. He stared down at her tummy. As he focused on pleasuring you. Fingers delved deep through your folds. Massaging your pussy gently. Caressing your folds as his thumb circles your clit.
"G-God.." You whimper softly. As you pull him closer. Locking your lips against his jaw. Kissing down his neck in a rough manner. Deep kissing noises echoed in the room. Which was mixed with the moans of yours and Andrea's. Leading to Andrea pushing his index and middle finger inside you. "Ahhh.. Oh baby." You whimper against the crook of his neck. Your breath tickles his adam's apple. Giving him a semi hard on. Pushing you more against the corner. Pumping his fingers at a steady pace. Jamming them past his second knuckle.
"Baby, you are t-too good to me. Lemme touch you too, sweetheart." You whisper as you reach down. Having a little trouble reaching to get to his pants. Andrea chuckled and moved his hips forwards for her. "There you go, mami.." He uttered out softly. Taking his fingers out and moving his arm to give her better access. You subtly whine at the loss of his fingers. However, you couldn't help but chuckle at the reason for it. Getting his fly open you reach in and felt his erection.
"Mmm… we can please each other together.." He mumbled. Pressing his forehead against yours. Already rolling his hips up against your touch.
"Since you've been such a good boy.. I'll allow it." You tease.
Yanking his cock out of his pants, free it. You quickly spit on your palm. Reaching back down to wrap your hand around his shaft. Causing a gruff groan to escape him. You stare deep into his eyes. Starting to pump his shaft nice and swiftly. While he reaches back between your legs. Stuffing his fingers back into your cunt. Making your mouth hang out from pleasure. There you two were. Jerking one another off in such a tight corner. It felt so warm, from how heavy you two began to breathe. The way he throbbed in your grasp made you hunger for his climax. Your grip tightened and stroke grew faster. Earning you a loud cry of pleasure from the young man.
Out of nowhere he pulls his hand away from your core. Which makes you rather sexually frustrated. Before you can comment he pulls your grip away from his hard on. As you raise your eyebrows he lowers onto the floor. "Fuck me.. Please y/n. I want you to make me a proper man." He desperately begged. Staring up at you with those soft hazel eyes. How could you refuse? You had no words, only a hand gesture. Informing him to help you down, which he did.
You hovered over his lap, sitting up on your knees. Andrea had sat up, ready to cradle you in his lap. Wanting to help you be as comfortable as possible. You hold onto his shoulders as he holds the sides of your belly. You lower yourself onto his precuming erection. It slid in nice and easy, due to how wet you both were. Both you erupt into a sharp gasp. Sitting there a moment to adjust. Though, soon enough you began to roll your hips.
"Nnn... Mmh, oh Andrea. I don't need to make you a man.. You're already the man I need." You purr in pure lust. Cupping his face as you hump harder.
Andrea couldn't even speak from how good you made him feel. Whimpering at each hump you gave him. His mouth stayed agape. Your belly rested up against his flat stomach. So he let go of your baby bump. Moving his hands up the back of your dress. Groping your ass firmly, to help you bounce. His hips jerked up a bit to meet your collision. Both of you are speechless, only able to cry out in pleasure. Andrea squeezes your ass harder as he gives you an intense gaze. "I-Im gonna cum.." He said in deep moans
You lean in and whisper in his ear, "Do it inside me.."
Those words pushed him over the edge. Gasping harshly as he shifts his arms. Wrapping them tightly around your torso. Holding you down as his erection spews his warm love inside of you. The erratic orgasm threw you into an orgasm as well. Hugging on to him tightly as you sigh heavily. As you calm down from your climax. You feel his hand pet your back. Followed by gentle kisses on the side of your head. A smile grows on your face as you continue to relax against him.
"I love you.." You finally admit in a hushed manner.
"I love you more."

ALSO, very important!: tw for self loathing, body image issues and bullying!
Tumblr media
He did not ask her next Tuesday.
He and Sam had to save the world yet again. It was crazy how much Sam and Steve were alike. That might've explained why Bucky felt so infuriated with both of them. Steve now had a desk job, officially retired and laying low. Really low. So low almost no one knew he was alive, but he was. Bucky swears that if it wasn't for the serum those two would've damaged his blood pressure a long time ago.
Sam and Bucky were on a mission to tear down a human trafficking ring, which meant packing their bags and hopping onto a jet again and again and again. The jet lag and paperwork were insufferable enough but now there was the cherry on top of the cake that was at least two months without seeing her. He got distracted. Not enough to ruin things but definitely enough for Sam to notice.
"You mean to tell me you just almost took a bullet on purpose?", said Sam.
"Yup. I meant to do that", said Bucky.
"Uh huh. So what's her name?", said Sam.
"What do you mean?"
"Dude, not even on that fight in that German airport with everyone under the sun after us I saw you get asleep on the wheel like that. Also, AJ and Cass might've told their favorite uncle that their second favorite uncle has been coming back from the veteran home with cartoon hearts over your head. Soooo, what's her name?", Sam said while laughing into his takeout box. Bucky looked at his flesh forearm, the mark of where the bullet grazed his arm was starting to heal already.
"Y/N. Her name's Y/N", he mumbled.
"So she's that comedian that got you on a leash?", Sam smirked. Never in a million years he thought he would see THE Bucky Barnes, public broody asshole number one in love. He was going to have so much fun.
"Cheer up, Romeo. We will probably be done with this case in a couple of weeks. Then you can go put on some tights and go sing under her window or whatever you used to do back in the day"
"Shut up, Sam"
-
Bucky hated when Sam was right. Most of the time. This was not one of them.
Two weeks later, they were back in Delacroix and by Friday Bucky was almost vibrating with anxiousness as if it was a first date. He barely could hold itself together while playing checkers with Gus.
"Calm down, boy, she's coming", he said and Bucky felt like a deer in headlights, his eyes widening as Gus laughed.
"I- I don't", he started to talk but was interrupted by Gus.
"Yeah, of course you don't. I'm not dumb, y'know. Been alive for a long time. Not as long as you but...", he said before laughing again. Bucky couldn't help but smile from relief and because just how much you and Gus resembled each other.
"You could show me some respect. I'm older than you, y'know", he said as Gus rolled to the dresser to put the board away. He froze again as a laugh that could only be described as angelic hit his ears.
"Look at you two, fighting like an old couple", she said as Bucky turned around to take her in.
He was glad he was sitting down. When she was in the room, everything around her seemed to blur. Especially when she smiled at him like that, walking so the blue dress she was wearing swishes around gracefully around her plump body. She was holding the handle of the tote bag over her shoulder like a lifeline, her chubby fingers losing circulation. When she managed to give up her safety blanket, for Bucky's relief since he was almost prying her fingers off of the fabric and massaging her hand so the blood flow could return to it, he saw some mushrooms embroidered on it with the saying "FUNGUY" over them. Bucky's heart melted and he wanted to smile even wider. She was wearing black sneakers and a glint in her eyes. Bucky didn't think he'd go to Heaven after the lives he had, but in that moment he was glad that he got that little free sample to hold on to.
"I'm not the one in a couple here, Funny Pants. Now if you'll excuse me", Uncle Gus said as he started wheeling his way to the door.
"Where you going?", she said, and Bucky tried and failed to hold a smile when he looked at her, her brows scrunched up and her hands on her round hips, smiling slightly like someone that was trying to scold a child that said something funny but wildly inappropriate.
"Uh, getting jello, complaining, old man things. Don't wait for me", he said. He held up until he was out of sight but her and Bucky could hear his boisterous laughter after he turned the corner.
-
You were suddenly aware of everything. How you were standing, looking, breathing. Oh God, you should've contoured. What would he think of your dirty sneakers? You felt like you did when you were younger, and your friend tried to set you up with a boy she all but begged to give you your first kiss out of pity. It took an herculean amount of strength to hold your act.
'I can do it, I can do it, I can do it', you mentally repeated your mantra as you lifted your chin to look up at his blue eyes.
'Fuck, I can't do it', you thought as you subtly tried to scan his face with your eyes, and seeing his goofy smile and dimpled chin, you couldn't help but smile too, even if your body felt uncomfortably hot besides the block of ice that was your chest and stomach.
-
Bucky wanted to hop on his bike, ride all the way to Stark's go back in time and smack himself on the back of the head, even if it caused the universe to collapse or whatever Banner said. Not even flowers? Nothing? After being gone for so long? God, he was rusty.
'Come on, Barnes. You've been through it. Like riding a bike, turn on the charm, think of something. Something besides her standing right in front of you...'
"So... Funny Pants, eh?", he said with a wide smile. He would remember this.
"Don't you dare!", she said with that cute frown again, her lips were in a pout before cracking up and laughing loudly, and Bucky swears he's never wanted to kiss someone so bad.
And just like that, the ice was broken between the two again.
"He calls me Funny Pants since I was a kid. There's a story behind it, actually", she said.
"Yeah? Tell me about it", he said, stepping slightly closer. She smiled. Shyly this time, romantic. She was blushing. Bucky wanted to see just how much he could make her blush.
"I was a very comedic child and so my life decided to bump up the awkwardness to go with it", they chuckled in unison. "Me and Uncle Gus used to tell knock knock jokes to each other all the time. And one day at school I was trading stickers with my friends and when I got home he was there. So, I told him a knock knock joke. And then when I turned around somehow I had a glittery butterfly on my butt. So he started to call me Funny Pants", she said. Bucky wanted really hard to be charming, but he was laughing until his face turned red and he was holding his side at the absolutely adorable image of an even smaller you, with a sparkly butterfly stuck on your butt, hands on your hips and cute frown like you had earlier when Gus teased you.
"Oh, I bet it was so cute", he said, finally calming down and evening out his breathing.
-
You could remember the relentless teasing that followed you for a long time after. Your smile faltered a bit, but it came back as soon as you saw how much Bucky was laughing. You remembered why you started comedy. Yes, at first it was a way of - sometimes quite literally- beating your bullies to the punch and pointing out your insecurities before they could. Sometimes if you made them laugh before lunch time they would even let you got back to the classroom unscathed. It was such a bittersweet feeling.
You loved making people laugh, make them happy. But you couldn't forget that the start of it all was simply broadcasting the mean comments that plagued your mind in a comedic way, making an absolute fool of yourself to an audience of tormentors so they could maybe leave you alone for a few days, just time enough so you could come up with a new routine.
But that was no more. That was past. You were pretty, lovable, worthy of good things, and no worse than anyone else. Even if you had to remind yourself of it sometimes.
"Nah, I was pissed. It was useless, I had wings on my butt and STILL had to walk home? Absurd", you said in mocking indignation, huffing out a breath and making Bucky beam with laughter again.
-
Bucky laughed more and more after coming to Delacroix and going to therapy. But he couldn't remember the last time he laughed this hard. Probably the last time he saw you.
After you two stopped chuckling, you fell into a comfortable silence, taking each other in. Time stood still between you, it could've been a minute, a thousand years, a millisecond, an eternity. Usually both Bucky and you would feel insecure with feeling looked at, although one didn't know this about the other yet. But that wasn't the case. Your gaze felt like a caress across his skin, he could almost feel it. The playfulness was gone from your eyes but you didn't look mad or unhappy, you looked serene. Soft. He wanted to lift his hand and touch you. Slowly, carefully, like one would handle a flower as to not damage its petals. That's exactly how he saw you. A flower. So beautiful, you just started blooming before his eyes and he would handle you with utmost care. His Ma had raised him right, after all.
-
While all that Bucky felt was soft airy warmth, like the breeze that although hot, managed to refresh your sweaty face at a lazy summer evening, you felt hot. Like lightning, like molten lava. It was sultry but careful. Under the smoldering gaze of Bucky, you felt seen but not scrutinized. Pretty and sexy, but not objectified. You felt as if his beautiful blue eyes were seeing your soul. Raw and unfiltered, way more than just the class clown schtick you showed the world. You wondered for a moment if that's what sailors felt before jumping in the ocean at the becoming call of a mermaid. If that's what passion felt like. You wouldn't know, but if it was this, now you understood what everyone was raving about. You had been with others, but Bucky managed to bend your body at his will without even touching you. You blushed at the thought of him touching you, your shyness powerful enough to be able to break free of his spell for a second to drag over his black and gold arm, somewhere in the back of your mind your rational self managed to squeak out a note of pride at him for not hiding it before your mind was overcome with the feeling of being bared to someone in the best way possible, paralyzing you to stare at your dirty pair of Converse sneakers. It was a spell.
-
"Hey, you asked her out yet?", a loud voice managed to break the spell between you. You looked like a dear in headlights, eyes wide and cheeks warm and flushed. Bucky looked annoyed at the door.
"Sam!", he gritted out.
"Uh... I'm sorry, sorry", he said, slowly backing away with his hands raised in surrender, his neck shrinking into his shoulders in a way it would've made you laugh and make some kind of pigeon joke if you weren't so awestruck.
"I'm late for the community garden duty before my performance", you managed to stutter.
"Probably, yeah", he said, and you couldn't help but look at his stubble covered Adam's apple as he tried to swallow down the knot of anxiety on his throat.
"That was Captain America", you weakly pointed at the door.
"Yes, and he is an idiot", he said, annoyed. But it didn't last. He couldn't be annoyed near you for long.
"He said you were going to ask me out", you whispered. Was this a dream? It was, wasn't it?
"I was", he mumbled, eyes wide as saucers boring into yours.
"Was? Not going to anymore?", you whispered, your hand dropped to your side but still with your pointer finger out.
"I am going to", a beat of silence. "Uh, right now, going to right now", he said. "Would you go out with me? To dinner?", he said.
"Yes", you breathed out. Unknown to both of you, Sam and Gus were in the other room laughing at your school-like crush antics. Bucky's memory flashed to what Sam told him earlier, "You're whipped, man".
God, Bucky really hated when Sam was right. Most of the time.

Tumblr media
Your POV
I nervously made my way across the forest until I reached a limestone cliff. I knocked on the iron door, not really expecting to get an answer.
My boyfriend has been shutting himself in Bunker 9 for the past few weeks. I stood there counting up to seven before knocking again. I knocked again two more times, until he answered in the middle of my last knock.
He removed his goggles and winced as sunlight hit his eyes. He'd grown thinner and paler, making the dark circles in his eyes more pronounced.
"Oh, Leo..." I reached out to brush a few strands of hair away from his face, but he moved away.
"What are you doing here?" He said in a monotone voice.
I moved to walk inside the Bunker, brushing off his hesitation to let me in. "I'm your partner, remember? And I'm really concerned because you're shutting yourself out lately. You know everyone's starting to worry about you. Percy asked me to check on you because you missed pegasus riding with him. Oh, and I'm pretty sure Jason's coming back from Camp Jupiter soon. I was hoping you and Annabeth could be with Piper while Percy and I hung out with Jason because it's been a little awkward since their breakup. Plus Piper wanted to tell you something—"
"Please," he said forcefully causing me to stop and look at him. "Just... Get out."
Normally, he'd shut himself from the world for a few days to work on an important project or because he was feeling really sad and he needed space. But this was getting out of hand. He had never locked me out of his life when I offered to help him. He was never this mean when he asked for space. I was not having this attitude of his.
"Okay, Leo. I tried to play nice. What is so important that you blow off all your friends for nearly a month that you can't even tell your partner, or maybe say hi to your best friend who's coming back from the other side of the country?"
He didn't say anything. He pursed his lips and avoided eye contact. I scanned he room for any signs.
It was messier than usual with all the crumpled paper scattered on the floor, especially on his desk. He could have been drawing up new plans. Something in my gut told me that something wasn't right. There were no new unfinished projects, indicating that he wasn't starting a new invention. Harley's helicopter lay on his bench in the same state it was weeks ago. Huh, not even his siblings could enter the Bunker.
I turned and Leo was already changing Festus' oil. I took this moment of distraction to pick up a few pieces of crumpled paper on the floor and on his desk. I had to process the words a bit longer—too long that Leo took notice. Damn dyslexia.
I heard footsteps speed up behind me, but it was too late. I read enough and got the gist of what he had been trying to do these past few weeks.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" He yelled at me. Small embers started to erupt between his curls.
I laughed dryly. "So this is what you've been up to?"
His fists tightened, further crumpling the paper in his hands. His eyes flashed with anger, despair and confusion.
I sighed and focused my eyes on his desk, not daring to look at him any longer. Under some pieces of paper were old photographs of him and Piper from Wilderness School. Yup, those definitely were the mist memories she had with Jason. I read the latest draft he'd been writing:
Dear Piper,
Remember the mist memories from boarding school with Jason? They were real, but they were with me.
I miss you. I miss when it was just us. I miss the night on the roof.
Yours truly,
Leo Valdez
I tried to keep my voice from cracking. "How long?"
I heard him sigh. "Three weeks."
I balled my fists. Tears started to fall and smudge the ink. I wiped them away as fast as they came.
"How?"
"In a dream," his tone softened now. "Hera came to me in a dream and told me to check an old drawer in Bunker 9. I found the photos and the memories came rushing back."
"How long were you dating back then?"
"Two weeks."
"Were you ever going to tell me?"
Silence; then a deep breath.
"No."
I shook my head in disbelief. "Why?"
"Because I knew you'd get upset like—"
"I meant why would you throw away months of our relationship for a couple of weeks of your relationship with her? And without even bothering to tell me? Gods damn it, Leo. We've been together since you've first arrived at camp. And what about those promises you made when we were sailing to Greece? You've been keeping these feelings away from me and you've been lying to me, making me believe that there's still something between us and—"
"Oh, calm down," he said with an annoyed expression and tone, which only infuriated me more, "it's not like I did anything were her yet! I didn't kiss her or tell her how I truly felt for her! She just got out of a relationship with Jason around the same time I had that dream. I had to figure out how to talk to her about it. I've been alone in this Bunker for three. Fucking. Weeks. I didn't cheat on you."
"Oh, and that makes everything better?" I countered. "Being in a relationship isn't about not cheating, Leo. It's about being honest and communicating with each other."
"Oh, like you've been communicating with me? After the war, you take go back to Manhattan for school, and you take a job. I haven't seen you much during the holidays because work has been keeping you in the city. And you won't tell me what you even do for a living!"
I took in a deep breath. "I told you I needed to have a life outside of camp! I needed to know first that I could handle myself in the mortal world as a normal human being. I needed this demigod part of my life to be separate as much as possible! I've been in two wars, Leo. I needed time to myself, too. And I was about to tell you guys in a few more days. But I guess now, I'm glad I've kept you out of that part of my life. At least I have an escape from all of this. And now, especially from you."
I took another deep breath and walked to the door, about to let myself out. I turned back again, both our tear-stained eyes meeting each other.
"If it makes you feel any better," I said softly, "I would've hated the idea of us breaking up. But if you really love her, if you really feel like you have this special connection to her and she makes you happy, then I won't get in your way. You could at least have had the decency to talk to me so we could have left on a good note."
He looked at me with wide eyes, clearly regretting his actions. I sighed and looked around the Bunker, possibly for the last time. Lots of memories were definitely created in this room; all just as grand and meaningful as the inventions they made here. But just like some of Hephaestus' contraptions, some of them were flawed and dumped in his scrapyard, no matter how much potential it could have had.
"Goodbye, Leo."
I sat on a rock on the beach that gave me a beautiful view of Long Island Sound. To my left, the sun started to set, casting an orange filter on everything. My heart broke, remembering how everything glowed orange in the Bunker. Leo always left the fires burning when he was working. The sunlight twinkling against the sea reminded me of how small bits of flame peaked through his hair earlier. I remembered how mad he was at me. Or maybe he was mostly mad at himself.
"Hey."
I jumped when someone sat—or rather, landed—beside me. I turned and smiled, seeing one of my good friends back at camp.
"Hey, you're back," I said weakly. "How long have you been here?"
He smiled at me, although he could maybe sense that something was wrong. "Half an hour, maybe? I saw Annabeth making plans to expand camp to have a city. She made me do an aerial inspection and I told her I'll get back to her tonight. That's when I saw you."
"Mhmm," I mumbled, not really knowing what to say. It was silent for a few minutes before I spoke up again, knowing he was just waiting for me to open up.
"I broke up with Leo."
His head quickly turned to me. I guess he wasn't expecting it to be that bad. "What?"
"Oh yeah," I laughed dryly. "Turns out the mist memories Piper had in Wilderness School with you? They were real. But not with you."
His eyes widened. "Oh... With Leo."
"He locked himself in the Bunker for weeks trying to write a letter. It was heartbreaking. Like, truly heartbreaking. He wanted to tell her how much he missed her and how much he missed them. Then he said how much he missed that night with her under the stars and... It hurt. Like hell."
"Oh," he said. "I guess Piper didn't tell me everything then."
"She knew all along?"
He shook his head. "Maybe not everything, but she told me she's been confused about her feelings lately and she'd been having visions or dreams of possible old memories that were messing with her head."
"I'm sorry about you and Piper," I said.
"Don't be," he said. "I understand her. It did hurt, though. But I think I can get over it some day. We're still awkward around each other, but at least we left on a good note."
I scoffed. "Leo couldn't even give me a good ending to our relationship."
"Hey," he said as he put a hand on my shoulder. "You're a great person, y/n. You've done so much, especially for him. It's his loss that he was stupid enough to let go of you."
"I know that."
"Do you really?"
"I do!" I said. "I'm a great person and I know that. But that doesn't mean what he did doesn't hurt me."
"I know," he said. "You'll find someone who'll treat you like the queen that you are. You're a great person, and I'm not just saying this to cheer you up. I truly think you're amazing."
I smiled at him. "Thanks, Jason. And you'll find someone great, too. Maybe not as great as me but, then again, who is?"
We both let out a laugh. The conch sounded in the distance, signaling dinner. I moved to stand up before hearing Jason speak up again.
"Hey, do you maybe want to just grab a couple of plates and eat out here?"
I smiled. "Yeah. That sounds good. I don't really want everyone else hounding me about the breakup right now."
I don't know how long it was going to take me to get over Leo. We really did gave something special. It was cruel how the universe gave me something so good, to make me have hope that something was finally going right, then have it yanked away from my arms just as suddenly as it came.
He never cheated on me, but that didn't mean he didn't betray every promise we made to each other. I should have known it was too good to be true. Life has always played cruel jokes on me.
Then again, who's to say that things won't turn out for the better, right?
